Once upon a time, there were two children named Hansel and Gretel, and they live with their parents in the cottage. Their parents are greedy, fat and rude and they love food more than their own children. The poor, scrawny children spent their days starving and only eat scraps and few leftovers while they watch their huge parents stuffing their faces with huge amounts of food without stopping.
One day, the parents abandoned their children in the woods so they could save some food for themselves. "Let dump our children in the woods so we could save food for ourselves," the mother said, still eating her mouth full of roasted beef, gravy, corn, potatoes and bread. "Okay" said the father messily, slurping down a fourth serving of spaghetti with red sauce and licking his fingers. The parents take Hansel and Gretel to the woods and left them there.
At night, the Children shivered and huddled themselves from the cold and wait for their fates to decide. Are they going to die of hunger?
Suddenly, they find a light deep in the darkness. Hansel and Gretel followed the light and find a gingerbread house. The door open and out came old lady came out who offer them to stay in her gingerbread house.
She cooks an enormous feast for them. Creamy pumpkin and sweet potato soup, bread rolls, salad with cranberries, corn on cobs, minty peas, mashed potatoes, green beans, Mac and cheese casserole, a gravy boat, Ham and a giant roasted turkey with stuffing inside. Served with beverages of warm apple cider. For dessert, they have apple pie à la mode with chocolate sauce, toasted marshmallows, whipped cream and sprinkles. It was the best dinner the children never had in their entire lives.
After dinner, she give them nice, clean clothes for them to wear and heated a fireplace to warm them up. She tucked them into their cozy beds and read them a bedtime story. The children fall asleep and dream about goodies and toys.
In the morning, Hansel and Gretel wake up to the smell of delicious breakfast. They went downstairs and found the old lady cooking a big meaty stew for breakfast. It was the best breakfast they had, but the children couldn't help that the meat taste funny. Gretel asked the old lady where did the meat come from? The old lady smiled and said, "While you were asleep, I went hunting for some good meat and caught two fat animals in the woods".
"What animals are they?" Gretel said with curiosity. The old lady smiled again. "I can't tell what animals are they but I can tell you they have very special meat". Some time later, Hansel and Gretel live happily with their new guardian. The old lady teach her new adoptive children about magic and they grew up to become a witch and warlock after a lot of training. Hansel and Gretel grew to love their new mother, not knowing that their new mother had hunt down their mean parents and cook them for breakfast.
