Worry No More

"You'll have to go through me!"
Eyes turned golden, her lips red with rouge.
A slash of blades, claws through flesh, and bright crimson coating her vision.
An angry, anguished cry of defeat, and soon the world went black.
"Moroha, Moroha, are you alright?"
"Moroha, hey, Moroha, say something!"
"Moroha, please, please wake up!"
Moroha startled awake, and she laid upon the floor of the hut nearby. Catching her breath, heartbeat thudding in her chest, she looked around and then up, to see Tamano, Towa, and Setsuna hovering over her, looks of concern on their faces slowly turning into relief.
"H-hey, what happened?" Moroha asked aloud, her voice weary and tired.
"Thank goodness you're okay." Tamano replied, extending her hand and lifting Moroha so she could sit upright.
"You passed out after you defeated that demon, and you were out for a few hours. You had us all worried." Towa said, a grateful smile on her face.
"That was pretty reckless, but I admit, I'm impressed." Setsuna spoke, crossing her arms.
Moroha groaned, rubbing her head. "Yeah, well, I got the job done, didn't I?"
"Yes you did, but still, you had us worried," Tamano responded, moving closer to Moroha, and placing a dampened cloth on the other girl's forehead.
"I, uh, sorry, I didn't mean to make you worry about me." Moroha said, letting her head rest on Tamano's shoulder, gazing up at the girl.
"Just promise you won't do anything like that again." Tamano said aloud, and Moroha froze for a moment, and then she closed her eyes.
"I…I promise, I promise I won't do anything like that again."
Towa and Setsuna looked to each other in confusion, saying nothing, but their eyes fell upon Moroha with Tamano in front of them, and they smiled.
Tamano nodded. "I'm just glad that you're alright."
"Us too," Towa said, with Setsuna nodding in agreement.
Moroha couldn't help the smile growing on her face, the dull pain soon fading away.
