Some creepy yet catchy music play as we enter the spooky town of Halloween.A spiky black fence surrounds a graveyard that greets us at the entrance while some ghosts and ghouls leave their resting places and start singing,one of them being Luigi.
"Boys and girls of every age! Wouldn't you like to see something strange?,"boos and ghosts sang in a high pitched voice as they flew to the centre of Halloween town."Come with us and you will see.This our town of Halloween!,"ghouls sung in a deeper tone than the ghosts and boos.
"This is Halloween!This is Halloween! Pumpkins scream in the dead of night!",they harmonized as pumpkins fell on the spikes of the fence.
"This is Halloween!This is Halloween!Everybody make a scene!Trick or treat 'til the neighbors gonna die of fright!"the phantoms were already at the fountain in the middle of town.This fountain had shiny black water that if you stared into it long enough,you would see yourself from another dimension in it.
"It's our town!Everybody scream!Is this town of Halloween,"the phantoms ended their melody and then we cut to a view from where we could see red eyes under a bed.
"I am the one hiding under your bed!,"the monster then moves his head forward,showing that he is actually Sonic the hedgehog but in his werehog form and snarling as he sang the rest,"Teeth ground sharp and eyes growing red!"We then move down to the stairs of the same house,seeing the side of the stairs.The door to the spandrel had been ripped off its hinges by someone or something with claws it would seem because there were gigantic claw marks left from when it attacked.A bizarre creature that looked like it was made of green goop sat on the floor in the spandrel."I am the one hiding your stairs.Finger like snakes and spiders in my hair!"The goop creature showed his fingers which were now tiny snakes.
"This is Halloween! This is Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!"we can hear the phantoms echo as the vampires come outside,which Cuphead was amongst as he looked like he was one of them,singing in harmony for this verse:"In this town,we call home.Everyone hail to the pumpkin song,"and the turned into their bat forms and flew towards the stage where Mario stood.He had a sash that had MAYOR written in red ink.He was in the middle of the stage that had Halloween decorations scattered around it.
He stomped on foot forward in time with the music."In this town! Don't we love it now? Everyone's waiting for the next surprise!,"he bellowed very loudly so everyone could hear him.We then zoom in on a tabby cat hunting for food,the phantoms singing and flying around town to get the remaining citizens to come join them for the musical."In that corner,rat hiding in the trash can."
The tabby cat follows the rat to a pile of unused Halloween decorations where Amy Rose as a werehog jump scares the poor guy,Toadette dressed up as a piranha plant jumps out as well singing,"Something waiting now to pounce and how you'll scream!,"Bucken berry joined in,"This is Halloween!Red and black and slimy green!,"he sang.Mugman was sitting on top of the large pile and was an actual werewolf and chimed in as well,"Aren't you scared?!,"he sang with a look of disappointment on his face before Bowser Jr and Wendy Koopa were flying overhead on there brooms, which gave him back his smile.
"Well that's just fine!,"they both exclaimed before landing at a roulette table,"Say it once,say it twice!Take a chance and roll the dice!,"they both threw dice as they sang this.The one Jr threw landed on a six and the one Wendy threw landed on a two.She celebrated while Jr was quite the opposite like he lost monopoly or uno.They hopped back onto their broomsticks and flew across the moon and sung,"Ride with the moon in the dead of night!"
"Everybody scream!EVERYBODY SCREAM!,"Luigi and Mario sung together,"In our town of Halloween," the boos continued before tails sung.
Tails was split down the middle with the right side being white and the left side being black.He was riding a unicycle like the clowns you see in cartoons and juggling some balls."I am the clown with the tear-away face!Here in a flash and gone without a trace!,"he suddenly changed personalities in a flash, his left side seemed like it was the one talking.
"I am the who in the call who's there?,"Luigi turned invisible and flew through Peach's hair when she was brushing it,her costume was of herself in the first Super Mario Bros game,"I am the wind flowing through your hair!"
King boo's purple eyes glowed as he had a flashlight under his face turned off,"I am the shadow on the moon at night!Filling your dreams to the brim with fright!,"he turned the flashlight on,scaring the poor demon imp in front of him,but his walking carnation was only fascinated by it.
"This is Halloween,this is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween Halloween!,"the ghouls echoed again,flying over Halloween town to make sure everyone's at the centre.The carnation and demon imp were walking around the centre,when they saw a guillotine.The carnation ran to it,the demon imp followed him."Tender lumplings everywhere, life's no fun without a good scare!,"the blade of the guillotine came down,slicing a pumpkin in half and scaring the demon imp once more.
Then Bowser and Cagney appeared out of nowhere by the guillotine,singing like everyone else."That's our job!,"Bowser sang,taking the carnation back to where the town's people were gathering,"But we're not mean!In this town of Halloween!",Cagney took the demon imp to the fountain where the people were gathering.
Mario stomped forward again,"In this town! Don't we love it now? Everyone's waiting for the next surprise!"Knuckles was dragging a fake horse with a mannequin up the hill towards to fountain singing,"Skeleton Jack might catch you in the back!,"he warned and Tails added,"Scream like a banshee, make you jump right out your skin!"
"This is Halloween, everybody scream!,"Mario sung,diving off the stage.Cuphead took his spot and he continued with the performance,"Won't you please make way for a very special guy?" He spun around and shapeshifted into his bat form before flying away.Sonic and Mugman sung in the crowd,"Our man Jack is King of the pumpkin patch!"
Knuckles had arrived with the fake horse and scarecrow and lead them to the fountain and it's now green water.The scarecrow took a torch that was lit and swallowed it whole,letting the fire grow from inside him.He scared the people by going towards them before jumping into the water and putting out the flames.
The carnation and demon imp leaned over the fountain."In this town,we call home.Everyone hail to the pumpkin song!,"they hummed together.Papyrus the skeleton was pushed out of the water where the scarecrow disappear and everyone there sang either "La,la,la,la,la,la" or "Halloween,Halloween" while the two werewolves went to the highest point they could get to howled to end the song and everyone clapped and cheered.
I literally just finished this at 9:30pm on Halloween night ,anyways,have a happy Halloween!
