They were sitting on the couch by the fire. Hermione was reading a very thick book on charms and Harry had been playing with the snitch for a while, throwing it into the air and catching it a few seconds later. They were in a very comfortable silence, with her legs on top of his. Harry went deep into his thoughts until he realized something.
"Hermione." He called, turning his head to look at her.
"Mmh?" She asked him without looking up from her reading.
"Have you noticed that we have the same initials?".
Hermione looked at him in silence for a few seconds before answering. "No, we don't."
"Yes, we do."
"No, we don't. Yours are HJP and mine are HJG. We don't have the same initial in our last name, Harry."
"Oh, Hermione, Hermione..." He shook his head before bringing their faces just inches apart. "It's only a matter of time before that changes. And then, we'll have the same initials just like I said."
Her face turned completely red and she buried her gaze again in the book between her legs. Harry could see a small smile peeking at the corner of her lips and he let out a laugh. Hermione kicked him lightly with her foot and they both laughed before falling into a comfortable silence. He would have to visit his vault one of these days to see if he could find any relics of his mother or grandmother. The mere thought made him smile before he tossed the snitch again.
