Meanwhile, at the mayoral mansion, Sidney made a sigh of relief. After several attempts, he finally had succeeded in forcing the window open. He knew that every Wednesday evening, the mayor would visit the grave of her father. And he also knew that since Henry was still in the hospital, the house would be empty. He opened the window a bit further so he could step inside. The man didn't exactly knew what it was that he was looking for, but anything out of the ordinary would do!
With Emma not so far on her heels, Regina got into her car and left. Since Emma was on foot, she needed to go to the sheriff station to pick up her car. She felt really bummed out about this, since it had started to rain quite heavily. So by the time she arrived at the station, she took her frustration out at Graham, being angry at him for standing her up, instead of waiting for her in the car.
"What the fuck, Graham!", she said. She had just grabbed her keys, laying on her desk. The Sheriff had approached her to apologize, but got cut off by the blonde starting her rant. "You have issues, buddy! Serious issues! First you talk to Henry about us, which in a million years will never happen! I'm not into guys and the only one I did was the biggest mistake of my life! The only good thing I got out of it was the kid! If you don't get your shit together or at least don't start to work on them, get the hell out of my face and don't ever say a word to me again!". While she growled her last sentence, Graham had gotten paler by the second. And when she abruptly left, slamming the doors on her way out, he sighed and decided that making an appointment with doctor Hopper might not be such a bad thing. Because right now, he had felt something. Even without his heart he knew that the blonde woman was someone he didn't wanted to get rid of. If she wasn't interested in him that way, he still wanted to keep her around as his friend. They had a great connection, which he didn't wanted to ruin. He knew that the curse was real and that she didn't believe in it. But if he couldn't talk about it with the kid, then who? The shrink couldn't help him there. But with everything else, he would do just fine. So he took his phone out of his pocket and made a phone call to shedule an appointment.
In her car Regina felt so alone, she was contemplating everything. The curse, Henry, falling in love with the savior, … If at this time she would dare or might call it love, but she knew it could potentially head there. While she parked her car in front of her house, she had been spiraling down, everything was catching up on her, did she deserve Emma or not? And would the blonde still care for her knowing she was the evil queen that had cursed everyone to this land and separated her from her family? If only she could take her own heart out right now, but since this was the land without magic, no such thing was possible.
She got out of the car, hurried through the rain and opened her door. Meanwhile, when she accessed the house, her feelings fluctuating between anger and despair, the reporter left it through the window. Sidney headed trough the bushes, hoping nobody would see him leave. But there was no way that he was able to make a fast escape, since a certain yellow bug arriving at the mansion made that option impossible. He had to wait it out.
Emma parked, not caring about how she left the car and knocked at the door a few times. Sidney knew the mayor was inside and was wondering why she didn't just open the door and let the blonde woman in. He wanted to leave. But as soon as he saw that Emma started walking around the house, he realized that he had left the window open. He had to get away soon, in case she got suspicious and started looking around for any signs of burglary that would lead her to his current hiding spot. Soaked and while holding something under his coat, he carefully stood up. And as soon as he realized that the blonde woman would not return right away, he bolted in the direction of his car. That he strategically had parked out of sight. He then got in and drove away in a hurry.
When Regina heard Emma knocking, she felt so guilt- ridden that she didn't bother to open the door. She was standing in front of it, but instead of opening it, her legs gave in and she fell down. She then leaned her head against the door, while tears where flowing down her cheeks. The knocking continued. "Regina?", she heard the blonde call for her and dropped completely, now leaning against the door with her back, she clenched her jaws. Eventually it became silent. Regina thought Emma had given up on her and the brunette started to sob heavily, feeling abandoned and alone for the second time in a short time span.
However, she didn't expect Emma to appear in the house, apparently one of the windows wasn't closed. As soon as the deputy saw Regina sitting against the door, she hurried towards her, knelt and grabbed Regina in a hug to hold and comfort her. Regina tried to confess, to put all her cards on the table, she wanted to come clean somehow. But she mumbled and whimpered while sobbing through her tears. Which made her hard to understand. Emma did understand a few of the words, but thought everything was just getting too much for Regina. Being confronted for God knows how many times by your son who thinks you are similar to the Evil Queen. And then being the culprit herself, helping Graham looking for his heart. Emma thought everything that happened was just getting to Regina. So she held her for a while, until it became too uncomfortable to stay in the same position for the both of them.
Emma gently helped Regina get up and led her to the kitchen. "Come, you gotta eat something, where is everything?". Regina gulped and smiled softly, allowing Emma to help her get up and go to the kitchen. They slowly started cooking together, which actually meant Regina only delegating simple and easy tasks to the blonde. She also showed the blonde how to finely chop certain vegetables, instead of cutting them into large chunks and then somehow making them into a kind of mush. Regina relished this sense of belonging and someone genuinely caring about her to the fullest.
After dinner was prepared and the table set, they ate and talked. "Hey, I'm sorry about snooping around in your father's tomb, you do know that, right? I really didn't mean to do that", Emma mentioned while reaching for Regina's hand. Both feeling safe and content around each other. Regina tried to push everything that was in her mind about what she had thought earlier away. It was too dangerous for her not to. "I do, I do know that." Regina swallowed and shortly squeezed Emma's hand to assure her that she didn't blame her for anything. "Let's continue to eat dear, you don't want your food to get cold. Or do you?" Regina glared, but there was no malice in it. "No, I guess I don't." The blonde grinned and they continued to eat in silence, occasionally glancing towards each other.
When dinner was finished, they cleaned up and did dishes. Emma snuck up behind her and kissed Regina's neck. The brunette couldn't help but notice her heightened senses, she felt Emma's long hair tickling her skin. She turned around, so she could see the blonde. "Is this okay?" Emma asked, as her hands move towards the buttons of Regina's blouse. The brunette nodded, feeling breathless.
Excruciatingly slow, Emma unbuttoned each button until they were all open, ultimately revealing Regina's black lace bra. Emma's tongue then traced a trail from her neck towards a cup while holding and kneading the other with one hand. She takes her time before she trailed her tongue towards the other one. Her free hand then slowly went down, gently rubbing the inside of the brunettes' legs. Regina growled, she didn't knew what was happening to her. But what she did knew is that she wanted this to happen so badly, but not in the kitchen while standing up. "Let's go somewhere else." Regina purred into the blonde's ear.
Emma looked up and before she could do anything, Regina pulled her by the hand towards the stairs. Along the way the brunette occasionally got pushed against the wall by the blonde to exchange heated kisses. After they got up the stairs, before reaching the bedroom, this happened again. But then Emma's hands where sliding down the brunette's back. She grabbed her buttocks and started kneading them. She then got up again, slid off Regina's blouse, undid the clasp of her bra and liberated her breasts.
Emma was teasing her, without diving straight for her target like a man would. Every time the blonde took it a step further, she asked Regina if was okay, to be sure of her consent. However, Regina wanted nothing more than the blonde going down and plunging her tongue between her legs. And Regina then told her exactly that.
Emma swallowed, burned her eyes into Regina's as she pulled her up and kissed her wildly, taking her to the bedroom. Regina's words triggered something wild in the blonde. She almost threw her down onto the bed. Emma then quickly swished her hair to the side, while positioning herself on top of Regina, and closed her mouth around a nipple. Regina moaned with pleasure. Grinning, the blonde continued. One nipple was kissed, while the other found a perfect spot between Emma's thumb and forefinger. Regina started grinding her hips against Emma. More, she wanted more.
And more she got. Emma's fingers quickly unbuttoned Regina's pants and she slid it off. She licked her lips and then kissed Regina with a fiery passion, before heading down, leaving kisses in her trail. With her thumb, she hooked the brunettes' panties to the side and introduced Regina to her tongue right there. It was sliding over her clit, over her groin and over her labia. Emma then carefully slipped one finger in, followed by another. Making Regina moan and squirm against her face.
When Emma really couldn't hold it any longer, she let her thumb take it over from her tongue. And she headed up to hold Regina while kissing her deeply. Regina held her tightly, almost leaving scratches into the blondes back. When she started trembling, she hid her face in the blonde's hair and came hard.
