After defeating Papu Papu, Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Pikachu, and Angel continued to run as the rest of the natives continued to give chase. They rode on the backs of warthogs. The warthogs ran off, trying to shake them off. They've gone past all sorts of obstacles which included warthogs being roasted. They were flunged off and thr natives were still in pursuit. They threw their spears and blew some poison darts, but they kept on running, so they came across a river and they ran on the running logs and leaves. The natives pursued them on the logs and a handful of them fell off the logs and heads down the river.
They managed to lose the natives when the rest of them either tripped and fell or they were eaten by man-eating plants. They stopped to catch their breath.
"And I thought running away from a flock of Spearow used by Pokémon Hunters was an exercise, but these guys were relentless," Sora said in his thoughts while panting.
"So now where do we go from here?" Kairi asked.
"We could try this way," Aku Aku said moving a fern out of the way. "We should be okay once we leave the boundaries of the village."
"That's a good a place as any," Coco said as Crash nodded.
"Eevee," Angel said.
With that said, they continued on their way. Then, they were attacked by a horde of Heartless. The Heartless consisted of Powerwilds, Bouncywilds, Jungle Soldiers, Slayer Mantises, and Lesser Tigers.
Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades and they engaged the Heartless and struck them down. Crash and Coco joined in the fray by spinning around and struck the Heartless. The Jungle Soldiers spins around as the Lesser Tigers swiped their claws and the Slayer Mantises tried to nab the bandicoots, but Kairi slashed at the Slayer Mantis, destroying it. Pikachu and Angel attacked with Electro Ball and Swift, taking out a handful of Heartless. Sora and Kairi came at the Jungle Soldiers and struck them down, finishing the fight off.
"That's the last of them," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"We better keep going in case some Heartless show up," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"I agree. But the Heartless are not our only concern. We may have other things to worry about," Aku Aku said.
The couple agreed with Aku Aku, knowing Dr. Cortex could have something else in store for them. They pressed on throught the jungle when they heard a loud roar ahead of them. They stopped when another roar is heard, but it's much louder than the last one. Something vicious is heard when it started to throw some broken pieces of wood and debris their way. A tree then came down hard when they saw it was a large, bulking Tasmanian tiger. (Yes, I am aware that the Tasmanian tiger has been extinct since 1936, but it's Crash Bandicoot, so why does it matter?). He is an orange, muscular creature with sharp fangs and pointed claws. He was often seen wearing spiked shoulder pads, metal bracelets, a green leopard-spotted loincloth, and red sneakers.
"Okay, who and what is that?" Sora asked.
"I honestly have no idea," Coco said.
"Tiny Tiger is Tiny's name. Tiny Tiger sent by Dr. Cortex to find bandicoots and rip them limb from limb!" Tiny Tiger said.
"Tiny Tiger?" Kairi asked, tilting her head.
"The only thing that's even tiny on this guy is his brain," Sora said, making Crash and Coco chuckle. Tiny growled.
"Ready or not, here comes Tiny!" Tiny snarled as he rushed at the group. Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades, ready to engage him. They managed to dodge him, and he glared right at them. Tiny growled as he slashed his claws forward, intending to slash them, but they dodged his assault. Crash jumped on Tiny, but the Tasmanian tiger grabbed the bandicoot and gave him a toss, so Kairi casts a thunder spell, hitting him, but that just only made him angrier. He rushes at them again, so Coco gave him a kick in the gut, but it does little damage to him, so Angel headbutts him in the gut, making him skid backwards. He attempts to grab Angel the same way he did Crash, but Pikachu saved her by shocking him with a Thunderbolt. Tiny roared in pain from the shock, so Tiny roared again as he ran towards them, so Kairi swung her Keyblade at him, so he ducked his head, and Sora then swung his Keyblade at Tiny, hitting him. Crash then spins around and struck him, and he gave him a punch in the face, but Tiny punched him back. Sora and Kairi casts a combo blizzard spell, freezing him and Crash and Coco gave him a kick in the face, so Tiny fell backwards, making the ice shatter. He laid on the ground, unconscious.
"Well, he's out," Sora said.
"He's going to be for a while. We should get moving before he wakes up," Coco said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Pikachu, and Angel took off, but unknown to them, a toy helicopter is flying above and monitoring them.
Watching them is a short, stocky cyborg with very short red hair. A part of his face is covered in metal, which contains a large projected missile, probably his most prominent distinguishing feature. His cyborg eye is large and contains a robotic pupil, while his human eye is noticeably smaller and has a dark circle, as well as a stressed eyebrow. He wears a white lab coat, but with several holes in it. He also wears black gloves, each with a yellow stripe around the wrist, as well as black pants and black shoes.
He left the monitors and he went up to Cortex as he prepared a laser gun and a hover board.
"Dr. Cortex! Dr. Cortex!" The cyborg said with an insane robotic voice.
"N. Gin, this better be good," Dr. Cortex said.
"The bandicoots have defeated Tiny Tiger, along with two kids, holding key-shaped swords," Dr. N. Gin reported. Cortex just looked right at N. Gin.
"Key-shaped swords? Are you serious?" Dr. Cortex asked.
"It's true!" Dr. N. Gin said, showing his superior the footage of the fight. Dr. Cortex was a bit surprised to see the fight going down. "You see?"
"It's just as Ganondorf said! They're here. Do we have any other operatives in the jungle?" Dr. Cortex asked.
"So far, we've got Dingodile and Ripper Roo in some areas, so there's a strong chance that they'll be running into them. But there's also Koala Kong, Pinstripe, and the Komodo Brothers on other islands," Dr. N. Gin said.
"Then they'll take care of the problem for us. And I can find the Keyhole and use it to conquer this world," Dr. Cortex said.
"Indeed, doctor," Dr. N. Gin said.
Over to Tawna, she tried to break out, only to be caught and be put back in constantly.
Back in the jungle, Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Pikachu, and Angel kept going as they went past some monkeys, skunks, and man-eater plants. They eventually made it to the second island and pressed on.
A couple of hours later, they came across a trapdoor, going down. They landed down as they saw a crocodile-dingo hybrid, holding a flamethrower. His body shape is that of a crocodile, but it is covered in brown fur like a dingo. He has large darker brown patches visible on his back. He has yellow eyes. While he is mostly covered in fur, his hands, feet, belly and muzzle are covered in skin like a crocodile's belly, which is beige. He has sharp, crooked teeth. His tail is scaly and green. On his back is flamethrower's gas tank.
"G'day, mates. Nice of you to drop in," the crocodile-dingo hybrid said with an Australian accent.
"And you would be?" Sora asked.
"The name's Dingodile. Dr. Cortex wants me to fry the bandicoots that shoved off, and I just gotten word that these two, and a couple of little buggers gave Tiny Tiger what for," Dingodile said.
"Well, he wasn't exactly on the bright side," Coco said.
"You think you'll do any better?" Sora asked.
"Pi," Pikachu growled.
"Oh, I know I'll do better than he did, mates. Time to break out the butter. I'm gonna make toast," Dingodile said, readying his flamethrower. He proceeds to fire a stream of flames from his flamethrower right at the group, making them dodge. He fired some fireballs right at them. Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Pikachu, and Angel narrowly avoids his fireballs. "Fry!" He fired another flame beam, so Crash hits him when he stopped firing. Sora casts a blizzard spell, hitting him, but he gets back up on his feet and fired his fireballs and beams of flames right at them. "I'm gonna burn you up!" Pikachu uses Quick Attack on Dingodile as Angel uses Iron Tail on his leg. "Ouch! Now, you've done it!" He rushes at them and aims his flamethrower. "Get it while it's hot!" He fired a much more powerful beam of flame at them, so Coco gave him a punch as Kairi casts a water spell, pushing him back. Sora and Crash finishes him off by aiming for his gas tank. When they hit the gas tank, it beeps, indicating it's going to explode. "Crikey! This can't be happening!" The gas tank explodes, making him fly up and come crashing back down.
"How did you like that, mate?" Sora asked. Dongodile groaned in pain.
"Ya thrashed me, mates. No worries. You'll soon be up against much worse," Dingodile said, passing out.
"We took on guys who were way worse than you, Dingodile," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
Over to Castle Cortex, Dr. N. Brio has approached Dr. Cortex with some news of his own.
"Dr. Cortex! Crash Bandicoot, Coco Bandicoot, and the key children has defeated Dingodile in combat!" Dr. N. Brio reported.
"First Tiny, and now, Dingodile?! What's going on here?! Those two were two of the most deadliest mutants I have ever created!" Dr. Cortex exclaimed.
"Worry not, because they shall be heading for Ripper Roo's territory next," Dr. N. Brio said.
"Ripper Roo? Oh, the kangaroo. I just hope he makes good use of the explosives that we gave him," Dr. Cortex said.
On top of a waterfall, a blue anthropomorphic kangaroo with floppy ears, bushy eyebrows, sharp teeth, a lolling tongue, and yellow spiral-patterned eyes that represent his insanity. The fur around his muzzle and chest, inside his ears, and on the underside of his tail is a lighter shade of blue than the rest of him. His arms are bound by a white straitjacket, so he moves around by bouncing on his powerful legs. His feet has three toes and claws on each toe. This happens to be Ripper Roo.
Back to Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Pikachu, and Angel have arrived to the second island's river, and they went up the creek, getting past the fish and the man-eater plants. They went up the waterfall and saw a bunch of TNT boxes and nitro boxes.
"Boxes?" Sora asked.
"These are explosive boxes. That could only mean Ripper Roo's nearby," Coco said.
"Ripper Roo?" Sora asked.
"He was an ordinary kangaroo until he was mutated by Cortex, same as me, Crash, Tiny, and Dingodile, but he's got a bunch of loose screws," Coco said as Ripper Roo came bouncing in the scene, laughing maniacally.
"That's Ripper Roo, right?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, that's him," Coco said. Ripper Roo came right at the group to attack. Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades to engage the deranged kangaroo.
He hops around and hurls some TNT boxes right at them, but they managed to dodge the boxes, starting a countdown. Sora swings the box right back at Ripper Roo. When it explodes, Ripper Roo just laughed maniacally. Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Pikachu, and Angel engaged Ripper Roo, hitting him. He hops back to the boxes and he hurls a whole bunch of boxes right at the couples and the bandicoots, so they managed to avoid the boxes when they explode. Kairi casts a fire spell, hitting a pile of them, making them explode, making Ripper Roo laugh maniacally again.
Ripper Roo hops after Crash, so the bandicoot jumps on a box, making it count down, so Ripper Roo hops on the box and it explodes. He tumbled towards the water and he floats on his back.
"Hey, you're heading for the waterfall!" Sora called out. Ripper Roo fell down the waterfall. "Of all the bad guys we've fought, he's the craziest."
"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed.
Over to Castle Cortex, Dr. N. Gin approached Dr. Cortex.
"What is it? Is Crash Bandicoot dead?" Dr. Cortex asked.
"Um, no. Ripper Roo failed to dispose of the bandicoots, so they're still on their way," Dr. N. Gin reported.
"Then, we'll have to try even harder," Dr. Cortex said. "Call in the Komodo Brothers."
Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Pikachu, and Angel have defeated three of Dr. Cortex's henchmen, so they have the rest of the islands to explore, but what else could be coming their way? Stay tuned and find out.
