Elizabeth walks into her office, having decided that this conversation needs to stay as private as possible. As she waits for the connection to Earth to be made, she keeps thinking that this is a crazy situation that they are finding themselves in. On one hand, she wants to believe that the woman currently occupying their quarantine room is Dr. Williams, but on the other, if she's not, then who in the world is that woman?
She hears Chuck telling her the connection is done, and seconds later, an Airman's face appears in the screen.
-"Dr. Weir?"
-"I need to speak to General O'Neill. It's an urgent matter."
-"Understood, Ma'am. Just a moment."
It doesn't take long before Elizabeth sees Jack come into view of the camera.
-"Elizabeth. What news do you have from the Pegasus Galaxy?"
-"General, I need to know if the name Rosalie Williams means anything to you."
-"Sure, she was a linguistics expert here at the SGC, but that was a long time ago. What's this about?"
-"Well, cutting a long story short, Colonel Sheppard's team was ambushed by the Genii and when they were about to get executed, Dr. Williams showed up and saved them, and is currently sitting in our quarantine room."
-"Elizabeth, that's impossible."
-"Why?"
-"Because Dr. Williams was killed by the Goa'uld a few years ago, while on a off-world mission."
-"General, I have visual confirmation made by Major Lorne. As far as he can tell, it's her."
-"I'll see what I can find out. In the meantime, stick to protocol. We'll send you her genetic profile for confirmation, as well as her personnel file. I'm sure we still have those on file."
-"Yes, Sir. If you could keep me informed of things on your side, I'd appreciate it. I'll be checking in to give you updates on our side, as well."
-"Will do. O'Neill out."
It was clear to Elizabeth that something got him mad. She isn't sure what it was, maybe something to do with the fact that Dr. Williams is supposed to be dead, but clearly isn't. Leaving her office, she informs Chuck that a file is about to be sent through from Earth and to let her know as soon as it's done. Chuck nodded and returned to his duties, the gate having just been activated from Earth.
She walks back to the viewing gallery, contacting Dr. Heightmeyer in the process. Protocol demands that, if that's Dr. Williams, she needs to go through a thorough psych eval. By doing this, it will help them understand how she got there in the first place, and if it is safe to send her back to Earth.
Elizabeth can't help to wonder, though, if this is truly Dr. Williams. If so, how did she get to the Pegasus Galaxy all the way from their galaxy, and how long as she been there. But if it's not, then what are they going to do with her?
