Paris was silent. The moon stood up high in the sky when in an alley, something changed. A portal opened itself and lightened the alley in a wonderful, colorful light.

A woman stepped out of it and groaned immediately. "Damn…" she murmured and looked down at herself. She looked at her fingers and her clothes. She was pretty tall and wore some high heels, with a skirt and some kind of suit jacket and a shirt. She moved her arms as to test, if her joints still worked.

The small Kwami, called Spark, flew next to her and began laughing loudly. "You look like you seel insurances!", he giggled and hold his stomach while seemingly laying on his back. His long feathers made it look like he lay in bed in the air. "Oh, don't you even dare.", she warned him and pulled her clothes in the right position. She shook her head and looked up at him. "we need to find the Guardian and get over with this, I can't believe I even have to be here.", she muttered and already made her way out of the alley up to the Main Street of Paris. The Kwami landed under her jacket and the two of them made their way trough the city of love.

Paris was quite busy, even at night. Cars crossed her way and drove past her into the night. The sidewalks were enlightened by the city lights and the woman got to cross some beautiful parts of Paris, the Arc the Triomphe and she even catched some glimpse of the Eiffel tower.

She thought about it a long time. The times she saw these monuments already and the times she didn't. A sigh escaped her lips while she crossed her arms. "Hey, you're good?", the small being under jacket asked, to which she just nodded. "I feel the Miraculous nearby.", she simply said and moved away from the beautiful view. The black haired woman sneaked through the streets just to end up in front of a beautiful little shop. "Boulangerie" showed the golden letters over the beautiful door and windows full of snacks and pastries. Spark freed himself from her jacket und flew up to the glass.

"Smells nice…", she heard the little Kwami mumble, while he looked inside the shop. He seemed to be eyeing some things longer than others. "Yeah and it's not for you, so come up. We need to get up there. I can feel her.", the woman whispered to the Kwami before looking around. Just when she was sure that no awake soul was even near her, she took a few steps back before jumping up the building. Without transforming she jumped up four floors and gracefully landed on the Guardians balcony.

"Go ahead, take a look.", she whispered to the Kwami who immediately flew through the wall and into the room. Curious, he looked around and eyed everything he could see. He saw pictures of a boy, drawing laying all over the place but no Miraculous box and no Guardian. He dared to flew further into the room, taking a look through the trapdoor and into the living room. There were two girls watching a movie and giggling about something, the Kwami couldn't hear. Instead of listening to the conversation any longer, he flew back up to the window and left the building without a trace of ever being in there.

"Just two girls. You must have mistaken the building.", the Kwami told her lazyly and looked up at her. She raised an eyebrow and stayed silent for a few seconds. Her eyebrows stayed up and she looked like she was genuinely confused. Her red lips pressed together and her fingers fiddled with her silver rings. "That's what he meant. That's what Su-Han meant, when he said that Fu messed up.", the woman sighed heavily and rubbed over her eyes. It was a horrible thought. "The Guardian is a child.", she said weakly and looked at her Kwami, who looked just as confused and even terrified about the thought. "You mean…", he began and looked inside again, eyeing the drawings. "She has seen everything, since Fu is gone.", the woman ended his sentence. She stood up and took one last deep breath. "It doesn't change a thing, we'll need to talk to her.", with that she laid her hand down onto the window that led inside the room. The lock clicked two times, before the window opened itself.

Silently, she slipped through the round hole and inside the girls bedroom. The room was full of pink stuff but it seemed quite enjoyable in the way she designed her room. Gracefully she climbed down the stairs and onto the main floor of the room. She looked around the stuff she saw. A sewing machine, some clothes lying around, photos of a boy and overall a lot of creative stuff. Her steps didn't make a sound, when she walked around. She could sense something inside the room and after a few minutes of opening drawers and boxes she found it. The box of the Miraculous. Carefully she took it out of the cupboard in which the girl hid it and opened it.

Not one drawer held its original miraculous in it. "They're all gone…", Spark whispered, while they both just looked at the box. Their faces are a mixture of sadness and anger. Silently she closed the box again and sat down on the small chair the girl had at the wall. The box rested on her lap, while Spark made himself comfortable in the place between her shoulder and her chin.

Downstairs during all of that, the movie of Marinette and Alya ended and the two of them yawning. "That's why I hate romcoms!", Alya sighed and got up from the couch first. She stretched her muscles and smiled at Marinette who still sat on the couch, cuddled in a big blanket. "I'll just get my water from upstairs, we can continue after that, if you want.", Alya smiled at her, while she was already climbing the stairs up to Marinette's room. She opened the trapdoor and for a few seconds she didn't react, then she froze and stared at the woman opposite of her. "You're not her.", the woman simply answered and laid her head to the side. Alya didn't move a muscle for a long time, before she finally opened her mouth and said a simple. "Marinette? Here's someone."

Steps for audible and a confused "what do you mean there is-", but Marinette lost her words just like Alya a few seconds ago. The girls just stood in front of the woman, who was still sitting peacefully on the chair. "Who are you?", Marinette finally asked into the darkness of her bedroom. The woman didn't answer for some time, instead she opened the drawers of the box. "Where are they?", she asked simply. Marinette and Alya exchanged a glance, but they knew that every word had to be chosen carefully. "Who are you talking about?", the superhero went the way of the unknown one, someone who had no clue what the woman wanted. It worked with Hawkmoth, but this time the woman just shot up a glance at her that could have killed Marinette easily, she was sure.

"Don't play dumb. You're the Guardian so where are your Kwamis?"
