"It really sucks that it snowing. I mean, why today?" Marinette and Adrien stood at the window, glum expressions on their faces. It was Halloween, but it was snowing hard, and super suits or not, no one was going outside tonight.
Marinette sniffled, a sudden tear running down her cheek. "Honey, its okay. We can go out another night," Adrien told her, putting his arm around her. "Its not that. We've just been so busy with akuma lately, this was the one night were we could just have fun." Then Marinette begin to cry.
From their teacup where Tikki and Plagg were napping, Tikki raised her head, then poked Plagg in the belly. "Plagg! Plagg!" "Cheddar...Sugar Cube! Why did you wake me up?" "Because our owners are sad. All they wanted to do was go out and have fun tonight." Plagg's ears drooped. "We're not going out?" "Marinette said its to snowy. Plagg, we have to find a way to cheer them up, and I think I know how!" she whispered her plan in his ear. "Brilliant!"
Holding hands, Plagg and Tikki flew over to the couch, where Marinette now had her head resting on Adrien's shoulder. "We don't like it when your sad," Tikki said. "So, Plagg and I are going to make a Halloween Treasure Hunt!" "Yeah, we'll hide candy and you and Adrien can go look for it. I mean, we bought lots of bags…." Plagg sounded shy. "Oh, Plagg! Nikki! I love you!"
Marinette covered their faces in kisses. Plagg wiped his quickly off. "Just for that, Marinette, you owe me bag of Hershey Kisses!" "Done! Let's go, Adrien! We don't want to peek!" "We don't?" Adrien grinned. "Love!" "Just kidding!"
Nikki and Plagg flew around hiding candy throughout the kitchen area and living room. "Plagg, let's overlap the last two pieces so they'll find it together!"
Soon, the candy was ready to be hunted, and Marinette came downstairs. "Don't worry, its all hidden in the kitchen and living room. Now, are you ready?" Two eager faces looked at her. "Then on my mark. Set. Go!"
It was wonderful to see their owners giggling and having so much fun. "Here's a piece!" Marinette plopped it into her pail. "I found one! Plagg, is this your cheese?"
Marinette and Adrien spotted the last two pieces at the same time. "Found it!" They placed their hands on top of the other's. Blushing shyly, they handed each other the pieces.
"Thanks again, Nikki, Plagg. Adrien and I really enjoyed this. But we loved the most is doing things together. Now, who's up for hot chocolate?" Three pairs of hands raised.
"Okay, my little Gremlins. We'll make it together, and Happy Halloween."
