Louis was so excited! He and Daddy were going to go get Boo Pails from McDonald's before trick-or-treating!
"Ready to go?" Adrien asked his three year old son. Louis nodded, a big grin on his face. "Daddy, your forgetting something!" He giggled. "Am I?" "I'm going to be Cat Noir!" "Ah, so you are. Now, be careful with the ring, Louis."
"Plagg, Claws Out," Louis said seriously, and Plagg swirled into the ring. "I'm Daddy!" Louis cheered. Then he stood in front of the mirror, sucking on the tip of the tail. "Daddy?" "Yes?" Adrien knew what was coming. "Will you hold my hand?" Louis could be outgoing, but he still got shy.
"I'd love to. Now, let us cool cats go to McDonald's." Everyone chuckled as Adrien and Louis walked down the block. What a cute costume Louis had! Just like Cat Noir's! Louis, even though three, was very serious about keeping the secret of the Miraculous, but he still liked posing for pictures.
However, all that posing and walking made him tired. "Papa, up?" "Up we go!" Adrien said, settling him on his shoulder. Louis snuggled in, loving how strong and kind Daddy was. They were meeting Mama at Grandpa and Grandma's later, along with his brother and sister.
Louis didn't know he had fallen asleep until Adrien gently woke him. "We're here, love," Adrien said, setting Louis on his feet. Louis mouth dropped open. So many yummy treats!
"One Boo pail, please," Louis said, and Adrien ruffled his hair. Louis eyes were as wide as saucers when the food came out. "My pumpkin!" he squealed, leaping out of his chair and showing it off proudly.
"Aren't you going to eat your food?" Adrien reminded him. "Oh. Yes, Daddy." He clambered up on Daddy's lap, and oh my, was the chicken nuggets tasty!
After trick-or-treating with the rest of his family, it was time for bed. Louis proudly set his pail on his small nightstand. He would share the candy, but after he would put his cars in it.
Snuggling down when Daddy came to turn off the light, Louis said, "Daddy?" "Yes, sweetie?" "I loved everything about today, but the most fun was being with you." Then he fell asleep, with a soft snoring sound.
Adrien felt a warm feeling inside him. "Me too, Louis. Me too."
