His Halloween Honey Ch 3
Derek and Penelope were married in a private ceremony at Dave and Fran's on Thanksgiving and by New Year's Eve Penelope announced that she was pregnant with their first child so to say that the happy couple had an explosive New Years would have been the understatement of the year.
Penelope gave birth to their first child a son named Hank Spencer Morgan on July 6th, he was the perfect combination of Derek and Penelope both because he was a shade lighter than his father but a shade darker than his mother. Hank had his entire family wrapped around his little finger, especially his grandma Fran who had been waiting years to have a grandchild to spoil rotten and spoil him rotten she did.
Fran was blessed for the second time with a grandchild, this time a little girl named Sophia Grace, she was born on September 3rd two years after Hank was born, she was a beautiful little girl who was a spitfire just like her momma. Derek loved his little family and with their jobs, the kids and spending time alone together the Morgan household was busy to say the least.
When Hank was 5 years old Penelope gave birth for the third time, this time she welcomed another little boy named Zachary David Morgan, he was the spitting image of his father when he was born. Penelope smiled down at her son and said, "my little mini chocolate drop", Derek laughed and shook his head at another one of his wifes nicknames, he loved to tease her about the nicknames but he wouldn't trade anything for any of the nicknames his baby girl called him.
The Morgan household grew one final time in the early part of December three years later with another granddaughter, she was so beautiful when she was born, she had a head full of dark hair and gorgeous dark eyes just like her mother. From the minute Sasha Francine was born she had her father wrapped around her little finger, she got anything that she ever wanted from not only her father but from her grandparents and any adult in the family, period.
Fran had never been happier, she had 4 beautiful grandchildren from Derek and Penelope that she could spoil rotten, not to mention Sarah's daughter and Desi's son, add to that JJ and Reid's two sons plus the Hotchner's son and daughter. To say that she had a house filled with beautiful grand babies was a complete understatement, she loved her family and knew that she was truly truly blessed..
Halloween was a special time for the Morgan household, it had been since Halloween night that Derek had proposed to span class="il"his/span baby girl, so every Halloween night after the kids had gone to bed Derek and Penelope would remember the night that would bond them together forever.
Derek and Penelope would look back on their lives later and realize that the time they spent together only added love, tenderness and romance to their lives, especially after Derek had asked her to marry him. Even though their relationship happened pretty fast after Halloween, neither would change a thing and to this day Penelope is still know as Derek's Halloween Honey and she wouldn't take anything for that, nothing at all, not now, not ever.
