Idea 60: Quirk Log 9
This gonna be a weird quirk log. It's got ideas that are either very bare and I'm looking for help to fill in and then ideas in which I give away a lot more than usual. I'll break it up into sections and comment more prior to each one.
Quirk Log 9
First section has the quirk ideas and fluffy yuri ideas that I decided to throw in here for input. Some are sparse and just prompts but they'd all be used for a more fun or sweet fic in general.
(Switch Up!)
Mighty Switch Force 2 Izumi (Dimension Shift Power)
-Outfit is same as MSF2
-Vigilante?
-Mainly deals in fire and rescue
-Shifting only affects her? (Shifts in and out of 'reality', still must travel the distance, she simply turns opaque and therefore can travel through stuff)?
-Shifts realities but there are objects only she sees/can interact with?
Vigilante Izumi x Hero
Quirk: Switch! (Transformation type, Patty Wagon fire outfit, Can 'switch' platforms in and out of existence)
Izumi knows the hero is the hero chasing her, Hero does not know Izumi is the vigilante they're chasing (Blind date?)
"Here to help!"
"No one's left behind!"

"I promise I was here to help!" (Izumi)
"And I appreciate that!" "but you're still under arrest!" (Pair)
"I'll be going then!" (Izumi)

So this idea would see an Izumi based on the series Mighty Switch Force (Specifically MSF2). Her quirk would be transformation style, using the MSF2 outfit, and then she'd be a vigilante focused on rescue. The reason she became a vigilante instead of a hero was likely going to be due to not figuring her quirk out until later in life, maybe 17/18 or so, and I wanted to pair her with a newbie hero likely from the usual 1-A or 1-B pool of characters, though I can make it so Izumi was older making other characters younger too. A newbie hero would help explain why the pair was so gungho about catching Izumi and then of course I added in the idea of them getting set up on a blind date and only Izumi ends up recognizing them but also likes them so it gets a tad complicated but in a fun way.

Wrestling Izumi
Quirk: Minor Telekinesis (Can only use on objects)
-Launches objects at opponents, and against herself, to move them around since she can't control them directly and brings them into positions that she can hit them with wrestling moves.
-Energetic personality, kinda cocky (semi part of her hero personality)
-Different school Izumi? (Ketsubutsu?)
-Meets some U.A characters from a joint training as well as again at the provisional license exam
I just thought it was funny for an Izumi who does dropkicks so I went full wrestling attacks. Her quirk would work somewhat similarly to Shiki's Float-Float fruit from One Piece but I'm not sure if I'd make her as strong or reminiscent of Shiki like I do with most of my other One Piece styled Izumis.

Unknown Vigilante Izumi (uses songs to cast effects, any songs, vocals or no, just needs to match the tone of the intended effects)
Izumi has about 1 song in her every other/few days
Area, effect amount and potency, change energy consumption
Izumi often hides somewhere since you only need to be in the area to hear the song and get the effect
I don't have much to say on this one. I'm just always playing around with a music quirk. I think I'd have Izumi having wanted to be a hero but be on the sickly side. Now, she ends up helping in her own ways by using her limited songs to help heroes or civilians by other healing or buffing them while she's hidden somewhere close by.

(Last Dream Love)
"The same dream again..."
She could never fully see her face, only being able to clearly make out her smile and her white hair, but she knew that she wouldn't be able to think of anyone else.
They're walking somewhere, their hands connected as she follows behind, and once they come to a stop the girl turns back to her and smiles.
She can't hear her but the beaming grin on her face conveys it all. 'Isn't it great?' her smile seems to say while her hair is gently swaying in the wind.
I wanted to play with the ideas of dreams and the like and follow Izumi's pair and their vague dreams about Izumi. I don't have a quirk exactly for Izumi yet but her having white hair would be related to it while the dreams may be something else entirely.

These are just random prompts and stuff I want to use eventually but don't have ideas for so if you've got some then I'd love to hear them.

Section 2 is the main weird part of this quirk log. These are all ideas I have that are just mainly full of depression and angst. I tend to avoid writing these kinds of fics for the most point since I don't enjoy writing them as much as what I do but by putting it here people can see what I could do with my writing and if they'd be interested at all in that.
(Sink Beneath The Waves)
The mass of writhing tendrils slowly receded. Smooth, gleaming armor plates clanked together and crushing claws and pincers snapped while they shrunk into nothing. The dark mass swirled about before returning to the distinct silhouette of a human. Quickly it removed itself from the waves taking calm strides up the sand as if nothing hapened at all.
Her quirk was ugly. It was terrifying, cold, and painful but she kept it locked away quietly. However it was always patiently waiting just below the tide.
This would be one of my monster girl Izumi ideas, based on a Scylla, and honestly a large part of it would be about her self hate and fear of getting close to people for multiple reasons.

(Reacting to Tiger's Hunt?) 'Canon' Izumi
"She's quirkless," "so why!"
"Why is she happy when I'm not..."
"Even after everything, why am I jealous of her?"
I've never really had much ideas for this but every so often I get the urge to play around with a reaction idea. I'd use the 'Canon' personality of Izuku, just for Izumi and dial up a few parts a tad, and I figure it's best to use Tiger's Hunt Izumi as what is being reacted to due to being quirkless. I figure the focus would be 'Canon' Izumi and envy. Envy of 'herself' because even though she now has OFA she isn't exactly happy yet. Again, I'm not exactly sold on it but I thought it could be an interesting thing to explore.

Nana dying from OFA and AFO, wants to live
Finds Izumi (Demon/Yokai) somehow who 'saves' her
Demon/Yokai Izumi feeds off strong emotions as they become her pleasure
"What are you saying?" "Wasn't our deal give and take?" "I gave you your life," "and now that life is mine."
I'm not set on this yet but I want to explore Nana more as a character. So either through some kind of yokai/demon Izumi or even time travel. I don't know, it seems promising and I'm always down for yokai/demon Izumi in some way.

-Already dead Izumi and her deluded childhood friend
-(CF Pending)
-Interactions between the two, sweet happy (always happening when they're 'alone')
-Izumi suggests going to their secret/childhood hideout but CF refuses each time because it's 'far' (because they can't face the truth)
-Izumi giving hints about how she's not real, CF always 'misses' her
-Izumi appears at places that don't actually make sense (subtle)
-Promised they'd always be together
-CF has a misanga, leaves it at their place at the end
-When finally going to their place, they sit together and talk till the sun sets, CF leaves alone
This would have been probably a misdirection short shot focusing on Izumi's CF, whoever that may end up being, and then me trying to play the readers with what was happening. Again, this is more detailed than what I usually put in, for the case of if I use the idea and don't want to ruin the reveal, but again this is more an introduction into what depressing stuff I could write.

Izumi x Kyoka (Both older, 30's?)
-Kyoka has a daughter, Kyoka is a single parent/divorced?
-Daughter spends lots of time at grandparent's house (Kyoka is a hero)
-Izumi is neighbors with Kyoka's parents and they help each other out at times
-Izumi starts to help babysit Kyoka's daughter
-Quirkless Izumi?
-Izumi and Kyoka knew each other briefly and were good friends as little children, don't remember each other much now (eventually realize?)
-Izumi cannot have children of her own, cannot adopt either (would have though)
-Broke up with her boyfriend sometime back (year/s, it was because she couldn't have kids, became depressed and then alcoholic afterwards)
-Managed to get the house thanks to connections she had (through her mother?)
-Couldn't live in apartments due to her depression and alcoholism (she was a disturbance to others even in her own room)
-Can sing and play piano
-Kyoka, without knowing her history, becomes frustrated and envious of her (feels like she's stealing her role as a mother)
-Izumi subconsciously treats Kyoka's daughter as if she were her own
-Kyoka's daughter gets mad at her for being mean to Izumi
-Izumi brings her back and explains her history to Kyoka or Mika?
-Asks Kyoka (a hero) for help, gets rid of her alcohol
As you can see, this was a pretty detailed out and depressing idea for most all the characters involved. Not sure why whenever I have a Kyoka x Izumi idea I make it on the sadder side but I do. I'd be building from Izuku's 'canon' personality again with this and it'd be focused as well on a 'family' setting so it wouldn't have any action really.

Section 3 and one more thought out idea with other sparse quirk ideas. I don't really do much any NSFW, I generally leave it at implication at best, but I do have a few ideas that are more overtly towards that. I wouldn't write it full out but the intentions and words would be very obvious. If I ever do some NSFW thing it would be in it's own place, though I could name it 'Lilies Past Dusk' just as a fun thing to accompany my yuri collection. I'll add that if I did do this then of course they'd be aged up appropriately, per what I usually do with my pairings anyway, and it'd all be consenting stuff of course.
(Night Light)?
-Favorite online AV person, recognizes by body features (beauty marks, etc...) (Setsuna x Izumi?)
Izumi doesn't show her face, Setsuna is hyper attracted to her videos
-Izumi has a minor telekinesis quirk, uses it for her videos.
-Izumi and Setsuna 22 and in college
-Setsuna is also a hero but chose to go to college too
-Ends up next to Izumi in one of their courses and recognizes her instantly
She had totally finger banged herself this morning to the woman who was now sitting next to her.
Recognizing someone by their body may have been strange unless you knew that she constantly masturbated to this other woman's adult videos.
'Hey I get off to you all the time!' Yeah, that would go over well.
Setsuna x Izumi pair gets most all the spicy stuff even in my yuri collection. The dynamics I have for them just always leans toward that.
Other simply quirk ideas I had were:
-A quirk in which Izumi could turn into any monster girl (one at a time though)
-Few second time stop is a given
-Self cloning/splitting
I could go on and on but that was just what was on my mind atm.
Anyways, like I said this was a much different log so feel free to weigh in on whatever as I am curious if I should diversify more.
Do you enjoy my more solemn and downer writing, existing or these ideas, that has been somewhat sparse in my fics or do you prefer when I stick with mostly good time stuff? What about me using OP quirks as much as I do or would it be interesting if I took a toned down approach? Let me know.
