Crossover: Fate Grand Order
Classification
Natsu Dragneel/AKA: Beast VII/E/N - I made it seven because there is technically Beast 666 and FGO might add more, but the number seven also fits in with Natsu because of the number of Dragon Slayers there and him traveling through time to the 7nth day of the 7nth month in the year 777. It's a little easter egg and a nod to the Fairy Tail franchise.
Designation: E - Embrace / N - Neglect
E - Embrace: This part of Natsu's designation represents his human side, emphasizing his capacity for love, friendship, and compassion. Natsu, as a human, embodies the ideals of embracing bonds and protecting loved ones. This part of his designation symbolizes his strong emotional connections and his willingness to fight for the people he cares about.
N - Neglect: This part of the designation represents Natsu's demon side, E.N.D. (Etherious Natsu Dragneel). It reflects his past as a demon created for destructive purposes and the idea that he was initially "neglected" or discarded by his creator Zeref, who left him in the care of Igneel only for him to disappear later. This aspect of his designation represents his inner turmoil and his potential for chaos and destruction.
Reasoning
Twisted Love: Sin of Protection - Natsu's love for his friends, initially a virtuous and noble sentiment, becomes an obsession to protect them at all costs. This obsession twists his love into a dangerous form of possessiveness. He sees his friends as fragile and in constant need of his protection, even if it means causing harm to others or sacrificing his principles. His love has become so overpowering that he will do anything to ensure their safety, even if it means destroying those who threaten them.
Manifestation: As the Sin of Protection, Natsu would manifest in FGO as a force that indiscriminately attacks any perceived threat to his friends, which may include other Servants or even innocent bystanders. He would be relentless in his pursuit of this twisted form of love, unleashing devastating attacks and flames upon his enemies without regard for collateral damage.
Morality: Twisted Guardianship - His inability to comprehend the value of human mortality and the consequences of his actions would drive him to do harm to humanity as a whole in the name of protecting his loved ones. To break it down;
- Perverted Love for Friends - Natsu's love for his friends has become so intense and possessive that he sees the world entirely through the lens of their safety. He doesn't comprehend the value of human mortality or the idea that individuals need the freedom to make their own choices, even if those choices come with risks.
- Eternal Protection - Natsu's sense of morality is warped to the point where he believes that the only way to protect his friends is to lock them in an eternal state of safety, free from any harm or suffering. He fails to understand that adversity and mortality are part of the human experience and contribute to personal growth and development.
- All-Consuming Love - Natsu's love, while originating from a good place, has become all-consuming, leading him to harm those he cares about by denying them the chance to live their lives fully. He doesn't see the destruction he causes as a negative act; he believes he's doing what's best for them.
- Rage Born from Love - Natsu's actions are driven by his unrelenting love for humans. His rage and destructive tendencies are born from his belief that this extreme form of guardianship is the ultimate expression of his love, even if it leads to the breakdown of society as a whole.
Beast Crown - Flames of Obsession
Natsu's "Beast Crown" takes the form of fiery, jagged horns that emerge from his forehead. These horns are blackened and appear to be aflame, symbolizing the twisted nature of his love and the destructive tendencies that have consumed him.
Powers and Significance
Infernal Aura - The fiery horns radiate an aura of intense heat and malevolence, making it clear to all that Natsu has fully embraced his role as the Beast of Obsessive Protection. The aura can cause those nearby to feel discomfort and unease.
Amplification of Abilities - When Natsu's "Beast Crown" is fully manifested, it amplifies his abilities, making him even more formidable in combat. His flames become more destructive, and his resistance to attacks increases, highlighting the idea that the "Beast Crown" represents his matured power and twisted love.
Symbol of Corruption - The horns serve as a visual reminder of Natsu's corrupted love, making it clear that he has fallen from his previous ideals. They act as a focal point for his Beastly nature, both in terms of appearance and the concept of his twisted love.
Apocalyptic Event: "Eternal Guardianship"
Natsu's apocalyptic event, "Eternal Guardianship," would revolve around his compulsion to protect his friends. He believes that the only way to ensure the safety of his loved ones is to place them in an eternal state of protection, effectively preserving them from any harm or danger. This act, while born from his love, would have catastrophic consequences:
Sealing of the World - Natsu would use his immense power to create a protective barrier that seals off the world, preventing any external influence from reaching his friends. This isolation would extend to everyone he cares about, including other heroes and allies.
Frozen in Time - Within this sealed world, time becomes stagnant. Natsu's friends are protected from harm, but they are also unable to grow, change, or experience life. They are forever frozen in the moment of safety, unable to progress or interact with the outside world.
The Lonely Guardian - Natsu, in his obsession, becomes the eternal guardian of this frozen world. His duty is to ensure that no harm ever befalls his friends, even if it means eternal isolation and stagnation for everyone involved.
Eternal Stasis - Society outside the sealed world collapses as people vanish from their relationships and connections, resulting in chaos and disintegration.
Natsu's apocalyptic event doesn't aim to directly destroy the world but rather seals it off from the rest of existence in his misguided attempt to protect those he loves. The ultimate tragedy lies in the loneliness and stasis of both the people he seeks to protect and Natsu himself, as they are locked in an eternal state of unchanging safety and isolation. It becomes a reflection of the consequences of an obsessive and unrelenting love for one's friends, ultimately leading to the breakdown of society as a whole.
Corruption Ability: "Dragonification"
Within his "Eternal Safegaurd" Noble Phantasm, Natsu can corrupt people by turning them into dragons. Thanks to his legends of slaying Acnologia and becoming the King of Dragons, not only do they have a conceptual weakness against him, but he can control them with a single thought ensuring their "protection."
Mechanics - Those affected by Dragonification would start to exhibit physical changes, developing dragon-like scales, wings, and enhanced physical attributes. Mentally, they would become more possessive and loyal to Natsu, prioritizing his protection over their own desires and freedoms. It would bind them to Natsu's will, making them obedient but losing their individuality. Not that he notices.
Consequences - Much like Tiamat's corruption, the consequences of Dragonification would be dire. Natsu's extreme love for his friends would inadvertently lead to their transformation into beings he believes he is protecting. This would result in the loss of their humanity, individuality, and personal growth. They would become mindlessly devoted to Natsu's safeguarding, losing their free will in the process.
Skills

It grants a significant boost to his parameters when protecting those he cares about. However, this love can also lead to moments of reckless aggression if his friends are endangered.
Fire Dragon Slayer - Natsu's mastery of Fire Dragon Slayer Magic allows him to unleash powerful fire-based attacks. This skill grants him enhanced offensive capabilities and the ability to inflict burn status effects on enemies.
Iron Will - Natsu's unyielding determination and resilience grant him a high resistance to mental and emotional attacks. He can endure mental manipulation and maintain his focus even in the face of temptation or despair.

Noble Phantasms
Noble Phantasm (1) - "Eternal Safeguard - Shield of Unchanging Love"
Type: Anti-World
Rank: A++
Range: Entire battlefield
Maximum Targets: All allies
Description: Natsu's primary Noble Phantasm encapsulates his ability to create an eternal safeguard for his friends. When activated, it creates a massive protective aura that envelops all allies on the battlefield, rendering them completely invulnerable for a limited duration. However, this invulnerability comes at a cost. Time freezes within the protective aura, trapping those protected in an unchanging state, unable to grow, learn, or experience life. While this ability shields his loved ones from harm, it also denies them the opportunity for personal growth.
Noble Phantasm (2) - "Nega-Creation - Destroyer of Everyone And Everything"
Type: Anti-World
Rank: A++
Range: Self/Entire battlefield
Maximum Targets: All enemies or self
Description: Natsu's secondary Noble Phantasm represents his Nega-Creation ability. He can activate this ability to make himself invulnerable for a set duration. During this time, no harm or attack can affect him, allowing him to protect his friends from external threats and can unleash it as a force of destruction.
Handicap
Natsu is in an ongoing inner struggle between his human and demon sides, E and N, which constantly affects his decision-making and actions. This struggle represents his conflict between embracing his virtuous love and succumbing to his destructive demon nature. As a result:
Inconsistent Power - Natsu's power fluctuates dramatically depending on which side of his nature is dominant at a given moment. This inconsistency makes him a challenging opponent to predict, as he alternates between bursts of intense power and moments of vulnerability.
Moments of Doubt - The inner struggle also leads to moments of doubt and hesitation. Natsu may question his actions, particularly when his obsessive protection leads to harming others. These moments of doubt can create openings for others to exploit.
Temporary Loss of Control - At times, Natsu may temporarily lose control of his powers, causing unintended collateral damage or weakening his combat effectiveness. These moments can occur when the demon side (N) gains the upper hand, clouding his judgment.
