After seeing the new Haunted Mansion 2023 movie, I can't help but write this idea down for someone to adopt.
A Kitsune's Mansion
Chapter 1
Pilot
Bar in New Orleans
It was New Years Eve in New Orleans, everybody were drinking and enjoying themselves, while one spiky blond haired, blue eyed young man was by himself, with a glass of champagne in hand to celebrate the new year, but as he was looking around, wondering why he was there in the first place, since he wasn't a social type of person, now don't get him wrong, he can make friends easily, the only problem is h get a little bit... Awkward, with them from time to time.
As he was looking around a the scene of the bar, a voice seems to catch his attention.
"Excuse me! E-Excuse me, Bartender!"
The young man's eyes zeroed in on the origin of the voice, but soon everything slowed down for him, with him catching every little detail of her features,straight long, violet-black tresses of hair going down her back, shining like silk, pale, unblemished skin adoring her face and hands, but what caught his attention were the pale lavender eyes that seem to draw him in.
Though luckily, he managed to snap himself out of his stupor, holding his own glass up, since it was obvious that she wanted a glass of champagne to celebrate the new year with everyone too.
"Here you go, you can have mine!" He offers to her.
He offered to the young woman, having a friendly smile at the end, seeing as she grabbed the offered glass, the woman smiling in return.
"B-But you won't have any!" She replies back, worried she might offend him in someway.
But the man simply brushed it off with a carefree smile, "No worries, I'm not really a big drinker." He states with a smile still on his face.
Hearing this the young woman began blushing at her next thought, "H-How about we s-s-share." She asks, showing her nervous/shy side due to her idea of sharing the actual drink with someone she just met.
With the man agreeing, though the woman asked if he was with someone, the man has his eyes looking towards the right, "Yes. I'm with my coworkers, who are more than likely looking at me awkwardly." Where he then fully looks at them, causing said coworkers to jump back slightly and try to look at something else, though it was obviously awkward how they were acting.
Before long, the two began discussing what it is that they do, with the man trying to explain that he works with special lenses to see things that are invisible to the naked eye, where the young woman simply states that he's trying to see things that no-one else can, making things much more easier for him.
Then she explains how she does ghost tours, where before long both were enjoying each others company, where the woman simply asks, "Come to one of my tours." Having grown more comfortable around the awkward man.
But while the two were chatting, the New Year Countdown began, just as the man agreed to go on the tour.
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
Everyone cheered, even the couple, while everyone enjoyed themselves, "I'm Naruto." The young man introduced himself to her.
With the young woman smiling, giving a slight cheers with the champagne, having sipped it, "Hinata." she introduced herself soon after, causing the now named Naruto to smile, thinking that maybe he found the one person that seems to get him.
But no-one knows what's gonna happen to Naruto or Hinata, though being in the most haunted state in America, who knows what the future holds for them.
The End.
There you have it, I only used a little of the beginning, mostly because I don't want to spoil anything since the movie only came out in July.
As for the "cast" I was thinking, Naruto as Ben, Hinata as Alyssa, Sakura as Gabbie, Sarada as Travis, Ino as Harriet, Kakashi as Kent, Jiraiya as Bruce and Tsunade as Madam Leota, for the main cast, since I can see these guys being perfect for the role. lol
Though for the ghosts, I'll leave that up to whoever adopts.
Obviously I tried using the same lines from the movie, just to let people put their own spin on the story if they want to, since they don't have to follow the lines or scenes, word for word, but I didn't want to, deviate from the movie too much.
