Now, with this one, I don't know if I want to put it on earth with our cities or have it as Danmachi ones.

Bell sat on the couch and watched as his dad saved the day through the TV. Bell loved watching his father swoop in and save the day, being a beacon of hope for the entire world.

"Bell, are you ready for school?" Meteria asked.

"Yes, Mom Welf will be here soon to pick me up."

Bell turned back to the TV but saw his dad was already gone. He heard the sonic boom come from above his house before his dad landed in the backyard.

"Alright, that was interesting. Hey, kiddo, what are you still doing here?" Silver asked.

"Waiting for Welf. How was it saving the president?"

"Easy. Those mauler twins really are muscle heads sometimes."

Meteria walked up and kissed her husband on the cheek, happy he was back. Silver grabbed her waist and, pulled her close, and passionately kissed her on the lips.

"Hey, woah! I'm right here," Bell yelled, turning away.

"Sorry buddy, just love your mom."

"Yeah, do that when I'm not around, please."

Meteria giggled. "Oh honey, no need to be such a prude."

Silver looked down at his wife and smiled. "You know, I'm thinking of heading to that one place in Berlin. Are you up for it?"

"Sure, I'd love to."

"Ah, what you're going to that place. I wanna go," Bell complained.

"Sorry, Bell, you have school. Better hurry along now Welf's outside," Silver joked.

Bell grumbled as he walked to the door and opened it. He heard his dad fly away with his mother in his arms.

"Man, I want powers," Bell grumbled.

He got into Welf's car, and the redhead began driving.

"So, how was your weekend?" Bell asked, looking out the window.

"Pretty good. My dad and I went camping. How was yours?"

"It was alright. Just read some comics and played some video games."

Welf chuckled. "Always the comics with you."

"Hey, they're good."

"You just like the pictures."

"Says the guy who can barely read."

"Least I can drive"

"Yeah, right into a ditch."

"That was one time!"

"Welf, you ramped off someone's driveway, and we went flying!"

Welf chuckled, remembering that day. "Yeah, but we were alright in the end. Now it's funny."

Bell rolled his eyes and playfully punched Welf. "Punch buggy, no punch back"

"Oh, what, that's not fair. I wasn't paying attention."

"You're the one driving!"

The boys continued to bicker before arriving at school. Welf parked his car, and the two got out, grabbing their backpacks along the way.

"So you finally gonna ask that one girl out?" Welf asked.

"You know her name."

"No, I don't believe I don't. Wanna refresh my memory."

Bell rolled his eyes. "No, I'm not gonna be asking Haruhime out."

"Why not? She seems like a nice girl."

"She is. But it's scary. What if she says no?"

Welf groaned and rolled his eyes. "Bell, if you're worried about rejection, then there's no fun in asking girls out."

"Yeah, this is coming from the guy who has girls throwing themselves at him," Bell deadpanned.

"Hey, just because I'm ruggedly handsome does not mean you're not good-looking either. You just have a more boyish charm, and lots of girls find that attractive."

Bell looked around the parking lot before looking back at Welf. "Oh yeah, where are they?"

Welf shoved Bell's head. "Smartass, you know what I mean. Look, take it from Professor Welf on Women 101. If you're afraid of rejection, you've already failed. Now go out there and get her."

"Ok, there's one problem with that."

"And that is?"

"Her best friend, Mikoto. She's pretty scary when it comes to Haruhime."

Welf put a hand to his chin and nodded. "Hmm, you're correct. Alright, new plan. I'll distract her, and you work your magic on Haruhime."

"What are you gonna do?" Bell groaned.

Welf smiled and gave him a thumbs up. "My usual"

Bell facepalmed. "Goddamnit"

"Oh, come on, don't be like that. Now, off we go. The young Bell must court Haruhime," Welf said with a knights accent.

"No, not today."

"What, why not?"

"We have a test in geometry today."

Welf's face paled. "Fuck I didn't study."

Bell chuckled. "Don't worry, you can cheat off me."

Welf clapped Bell on the back with a smile. "Thanks, buddy. Man, I'd be screwed without you."

"Yeah, whatever could go wrong with a jock and a nerd side by side."

"Nothing. We're a duo the likes of which no one has ever seen before."

Bell chuckled, and the two began waking to the school.

After school ended, Bell arrived back home and saw a note from his mom on the counter.

Hey sweetie, if you could take out the trash for me, that would be nice. We're also having some crab your dad is bringing back tonight for dinner.

Love

Mom

Bell sighed. "Why didn't she do it when she got home? Oh well, don't wanna make her mad, so I should just do it."

Bell went to the pantry and grabbed the two trash bags. His dad ate a lot, so the first one would fill up quickly. He carried them down to the curb where the trash can was and dropped the trash bags.

He opened the lid and put the first trash bag in. When he lifted the second one, he accidentally threw it high into the sky on accident.

Bell looked at his hand. Then to the sky. Then back at his hand to the sky again. Once his brain processed what had happened, he let out a cheer.

"It's about time!"

He quickly rushed back into the house, wanting to tell his parents. Only to remember he was home alone and had to wait.

But that was ok. He finally got his powers and now could be like his dad. Saving people from the bad guys and keeping the world safe.

Oh, how wrong he was.
