My father and uncle used to tell me different stories about dinosaurs in the modern world. I didn't think that it was true. My Uncle Walter said that it would be true. I then asked them, "If that's possible, then how come I can't see them in our land?"
My father said, "Well just because you can't see dinosaurs in our own modern land doesn't mean you will see them in a different modern world." I took his word for it. Then my father handed me something that was once his, an amulet that is shaped like a T-rex tooth while my uncle Walter handed me something that was once his, a staff.
My father said, "This was once mine when I was about your age and this staff was once your uncle's when he was a bit older than you Tanya, but now we want you to have them." I looked at them in awe.
I really don't know what to say. Then my uncle said, "You know exploring the yard will help you understand more." I then said, "Thanks Uncle Walter, I'll give it a go." I then went outside for some air.
It was surely nice of my father and uncle to give me their things. I'm gonna take great care of them. I sure am. Then I noticed my father's amulet and my uncle's staff starting to glow.
What's happening? Before I can react, colors of light blue and green surrounded me and spun me around like I was in a ride. This is crazy! Then I landed with a thud.
I groaned and looked at my surroundings. I know those buildings. I have a feeling that I'm not at home anymore, I must be in a alley in New York!
