I leave the town the following night, my presence unsettles them. I let Charoline know before I go.
"I must leave. My presence unsettles people around here."
"Do return occasionally, please. I feel safer with you around."
"Ok. What still unsettles you about this place, if not me?"
"The bandits could return at any time. I don't want to be taken again."
"I'll hunt them down, so you can feel safer without me."
"Ok, thanks."
I give a parting bow, and head out. I shall let her know when the bandits are all extinguished.
Then she can feel safe, and I can explore beyond this place. Find somewhere where I can belong.

I head to the nearby hills, where I last saw the bandits.
I enter their camp, sneakily, quietly. I am the shadows.
There appears to be 5 of them in this camp. Hehe, the shadows will take them one by one.
I sneak over to one who has laid down to sleep. I cover their mouth and slit their throat. One down.
One is urinating off yonder, two are by the campfire, and one in the tent across the camp.
I teleport behind the one in the tent. Swift and sure, he is no more.
I teleport back to the grass and then look at the one off yonder. He has finished and is turning to head towards the fire.
I teleport behind him and pull him into the grass. He couldn't even make a peep.
The final two. I teleport to them and strike their necks. They do bleed a lot now don't they?
This camp is cleared. Oh, not quite. A small one over there, tied to a pole. Wait a sec, that's the Dagi from earlier.
"Need some assistance?"
"Yes. Uh, thanks."
"No problem." I cut him free. "Let them know this camp is cleaned out."
"Sure thing." He heads toward the town.
Now to find another bandit camp.

I wander... south. There's hardly anything further west, except the coast.
Hmm. Boats ahead. Mostly beached and ruined boats. Plenty of Sea Elves too.
I shall examine what they are here for. If they are like the bandits, then I shall exterminate them too.
One of them is moving boxes from a broken boat. There are a lot of them on the hardly damaged one in the middle.
More... looters, I suppose. They are collecting things from all the other busted up boats and taking it to the middle one.
I teleport onto the mast of the boat, and it holds me nicely. I secure my hiding spot up there, then continue watching down below.
They have prisoners! They look like... Soldiers. They are holding them hostage I suppose.
Obviously, these Sea Elves are enemies of this Island. Unfortunately, I have no way to free the soldiers from the magics.
One of the Sea Elves might though. I teleport down behind a broken boat and wait for a Sea Elf to pass by.
Sure enough, one does, and I pull them behind the boat and dispatch them swiftly.
I search them, and find a crystal. I sense its magic, and suppose it is what I'm looking for.

I teleport to the bridge of the middle ship, and then sneak to the guards. Just one opponent up here at the moment.
I cannot free them right now, the crystal is having no effect. That one Pirate is channelling a similar magic though. Maybe if I dispatch them?
I sneak behind them, and strike, but my claws drop a little and impale their shoulder instead of their neck.
They lash out and try to catch me with lightning, but I teleport out of the way.
I teleport behind them and strike again, but they repositioned and again I strike their shoulder.
They are bleeding good now, and they can hardly use their arm, but they still strike out.
They miss, and I strike again. Chest shot. They can hardly breathe, and they fall.
The magic around the guards weakens, and I free them with the crystal. They are scared at first, but realize I saved them and then flee the wreckage.
I survey the remainder of the place, and decide that I can't leave the Pirates or they might regroup and strike back.
I slay many, until no more can be found outside the boats. I search each of the outer boats until no more remain.
I return to the middle boat to finalize the cleansing. I enter the boat searching for more Pirates.
I assassinate and slaughter them one by one, and they hardly make any noise. The hallways are clear, for now.
I enter the room at the bow, and it is empty. I enter the middle room and slay the one in there.
I enter the room at the stern, and at first find none, but I do smell one. With all the steam in this room, it's hard to pinpoint their location.

Eventually I find them behind a divider, in a large bucket of water. She screams upon seeing me and moves her arm to cover herself.
Unarmored opponent, not very honorable a fight.
Eventually she calms down a bit, after I sit where she can see me.
She then says "G-get out... monster!"
I reply "Get your gear on, so you can die honorably."
"D-die? Wh-why would I want to do that? Help! Someone help!"
"Everyone else is already dead. You are the last pirate that remains."
She is shocked, then looks bewildered about how to feel, and eventually settles to sobbing.
Eventually she calms again, and then asks "Must you kill me?"
"You are a pirate, and I am here to cleanse the bandits and pirates from this Island."
"What if I decide to quit being a pirate?"
Interesting sentiment. I didn't think of that. It seems unlikely though, most Sea Elves are Pirates after all.
What to do, what to do. Hmm, can't leave her free, she may betray my kindness. Turn her in to the guard? Yes, but... no, I can't.
Maybe I could take her to the city, and have her turn herself in? It's risky, but it may be the best option.
I say "Then I will take you to the guard, and let them decide what to do with you."
"Well, that's better than death."
I wait for her to get up.
"Well I'm not getting up until you're out of this room." They really do love privacy now don't they.
"Fine. Try to escape, and you will die. Even if you don't have gear."
"I won't escape. There's only one way out of here."
I give her a glare as I exit the room.

After a few moments, I hear water splash, cloth moving around, and eventually her donning clothes, or at least something similar to those sounds.
When she emerges, she still doesn't have any gear, but she is clothed.
As we walk away from the boat, she looks me over, then says "You're not wearing any gear either..."
"I have claws and scales. That is all the gear I need."
"Then how would you know if someone like myself doesn't have gear?"
"You look similar to Dremora. They need gear to fight. So I assumed it was similar for people like you as well. Would you rather have died right there?"
"No, no. I just want to live. I was, curious, is all."
After a few moments, she says "People with nothing on are called indecent, and it is frowned upon to stare at someone who is indecent."
"Oh, ok."
"It is also normally frowned upon to be indecent in public."
"Ok?"
She glances at me a few times with a side eye, and then I realize she's calling me indecent.
Like any clothes these mortals have made would fit me or suit me in combat.
