The room where Wilma Deering lay was dimly lit. Buck entered and advanced to the bed, that was surrounded by a number of Doctors. He noted that she looked pale and was still moving around and mumbling. The small wound on the side of her head stood out, it appeared to have been cleaned but not treated with a healing ray. He looked over at Dr. Walker, the head of the Medical directorate. "Her head wound hasn't been treated?" he asked.

"No, it is not really necessary right now. Our scans show it is superficial, but the concern has been the effect of the vapors she seems to have inhaled. Apparently there was a hallucinogenic component to the vapors. We are reasonably confident that it is almost completely out of her system and she will be regaining consciousness very soon."

At was at this point that Wilma Deering sat up in bed and said "They are all the same! Their faces, they are all the same"

There was a stunned silence. Wilma looked around at the faces, and then focused on one in particular.

"Dr Huer what are you…" she broke off and flopped back down onto the bed. "Oh my stars you would not believe it, but I must have dreamed that Buck and I were on a research ship called The Searcher. And it was all just a dream"
