Within the boundaries between dimensions (Zones) exists a separate space altogether, which has fluctuating gravity and physics that vary depending on circumstances. This was a special space that held the multiverse in place. However, what most don't know is that in this space between realities were winding paths made of purple translucent light, powered by numerous diminutive but powerful cosmic creatures that resembled cephalopods.

This species of cosmic entities is called Wisps.

Adjacent to the pathways was their small homeworld that resembled Mobius, Planet Wisp.

The planet managed to exist under similar conditions to Mobius due to there being a sun and how close it was enough to produce life. But the creation of Planet Wisp falls in the tentacles of Mother Wisp, the progenitor of the species.

Running across the pathways of the multiverse was a burning golden figure with a dark silhouette that resembled a human. Not an Overlander, but a human before the destruction of Planet Earth and the birth of Mobius.

The golden being turned its head for a split second over to the reader's direction. The burning figure decided to jump off of the path and rocket toward the audience in a brilliant fire until he was close enough. From there, he used his bare feet to create a yellow construct of a glowing platform. The being released the golden cloak of flames, revealing a shirtless dark brown-skinned human-looking man. The entity had orange irises, a muscular physique as he was built like a runner, long black locks that moved past his neck, and a red bindi on his forehead. He was garbed in golden bracelets shaped like rings, male ear loop earrings, anklets, a golden crown, and a golden necklace with a flat plate over the chest with an amber gem. For clothing, he simply wore orange trousers while a red stash was wrapped around his waist.

The entity smiled at the reader and waved at them saying, "Didn't think I would catch you watching me, huh? Heh! Welcome, stranger! I am Saviturn, god of sunlight, the Master of Motion, and the Sovereign of Stillness!"

The god's friendly appearance changed as it turned perplexed.

"What's the matter? Is there something on my face?" Saviturn questioned, crossing his arms before realizing the jarring proclamation of his words. "Ah, you've probably never heard of me."

Saviturn outstretched his right hand, and lit it aflame, using the fire to show the reader a brief image of the being of Creation, two opposing forces, and the first appearance of the seven Chaos Emeralds, except they were much bigger than in most known universes.

"You might have heard of this story before. Before the beginning of everything, as we knew it, there was my creator, the Great Harmony, collectively named Genesis. Mortals know them as the Chaos Gods. Its natural enemy also occupied the endless void was Exodus, also known as The End, or the Great Neutrality. Due to their ambitions and desires, the Angel of Dreams, Illumina came to be. One day, my creator decided to birth existence, thus casting the first Chaos Control known as the Genesis Wave. As a result of the massive ripple across space and time, countless small stones of cyan, dark blue, green, red, purple, yellow, and gray were scattered across the new universes created until there was a set of seven larger stones of the colors mentioned to exist in the Prime Dimension." Said Saviturn.

The flames then began to form the shape of familiar beings; the divine Super Dimension entity, and hellish draconic/avian-like monster.

"This is the first generation of gods, a generation that I am a part of. My creator's firstborn is my brother Solaris, god of the sun and time, and then came myself. I am the god of sunlight, motion, stillness, and other attributes. Oh, and Exodus managed to spawn Ifrit soon after." Saviturn said before dispelling the fire. "Many of our tasks and powers overlap with the other deities, but differ in certain aspects and in magnitude."

Saviturn then turned to the space in between dimensions where the purple pathways and Planet Wisp were. He cloaked himself in his goldy flames and immediately launched himself to one of the many starting points to the pathways.

"This is the Surya Pathways; a cosmic highway that serves as paths to the numerous universes across the multiverse," Saviturn explained before several white and cyan-colored Wisps came to receive pets from the god. "While I can easily warp space and time freely to visit each universe, my progeny used their cosmic energy to create these roads for me to tread for my convenience. As the observer of the multiverse, it is my job to watch events that transpire, have occurred, and could take place. Seems like I've gotten myself quite the task on my hands, right?"

Saviturn then glowed and then made another copy of himself.

The second Saviturn looked at the original and said, "It's a good thing we can occupy multiple spaces at once."

"Right, you are. Where are you heading to?" Saviturn questioned.

"To see our lovely wife in MaginaryWorld, of course!" The second Saviturn swooned with a captivated grin before giving the original a peace sign with his right hand, "Well, I'll be off!"

In a flash of golden light, the copy sped off to one of the many roads on the Surya Pathways. The god then turned to the readers and said while pointing one of his thumbs in his copy's direction, "Can you believe the nerve of that guy? Tch, what a pig!"

"Anywho, I should send you back to your dimension right now. But since I'm so impressed that you managed to stumble onto this plane all by yourself, I think I'll show you something cool," Saviturn said, grabbing the reader's shoulder.

"Relax, we're about to go travel at the Speed Of God." Saviturn declared before everything flashed gold, and then turned white.

Scenario 1- Pre-RESURGENCE Sonic v Post-ABSOLUTION Blaze

Setting: Dead Line, Chaos (Prime) Dimension, Year 3327

Status of Event: Has Occurred, Canon

The reader found themselves looking at their surroundings. They saw that they were in space, finding the stars absolutely mesmerizing while the reader was met with a giant space station that the reader was floating next to. Adjacent to the space miles away from the ship was Planet Mobius.

The reader was wondering how it was possible to be floating in space when a thought coursed through their mind. They quickly gazed at their hands, only to realize that they were transparent and translucent due to placing their hands through each other. The reader was invisible to the world that they were currently occupying.

A hand managed to touch the reader. Out of a knee-jerk reaction, the floating reader turned their head to see Saviturn standing without physical leverage.

"Hey," The Master of Motion and Stillness smirked. "Enjoying the view?"

The reader flew back, only to bump into another Saviturn, while the first one disappeared.

"Woah, there! No need to be so jumpy, you little scamp." Saviturn casually, catching the reader by the shoulders. "You've been converted to Sol Energy so by me, you're not exactly physical at the moment. Thankfully, I can touch you, so I can keep from wandering off to Genesis-knows-where."

Saviturn then floated towards the space station, saying, "Follow me, kiddo. The show's about to start!"

This prompted the reader to do so as the pair passed through most of the space station's areas.

Saviturn and the reader managed to stop moving, ending up in what seemed to be a decently spaced-out chamber with a fiberglass window that showed the depths of space and a full view of the planet.

"Hey, kid, look who's down there," Saviturn advised, causing the reader to gaze at the platform of the chamber from the top down.

Standing on the platform was a green-eyed teenage anthropomorphic blue hedgehog with peach skin. He had long blue quills that curved down naturally and wore white gloves, a necklace with a small golden Warp Ring dangling on it white socks, and red flat-top Power Sneakers with a white stripe and golden buckles on them.

Hovering above the Mobian was an obese Overlander with pale skin, a round bald head, a pink nose, a white bushy mustache, an egg-shaped torso, and skinny arms and legs. For attire, he wore a red jumpsuit with a metallic-looking vertical silver stripe going up the middle and black and yellow-striped boots with gray soles. He also wore an open black military-style jacket over his jumpsuit. The jacket possessed long coattails, a yellow stripe on the upper arms, yellow triangular markings on the chest areas that extend over the shoulders and down the back, big yellow cuffs with two points, and two round gray buttons on the lower front. In addition, he donned white gloves with a square marking on the tops, pointy blue sunglasses, and visor-styled goggles with gray frames and a green lens.

Right now, the Overlander was driving a floating vehicle built in the shape of half an eggshell.

These two were the high-speed adventurer, Sonic the Hedgehog, and the interdimensional evil super scientist, Nega.

Seeing that the reader was pondering what they were seeing and where they were at, Saviturn explained, "We're in the Prime Dimension, home to my creator's champion and my little avatar, Sonic. He's the little blue guy. Meanwhile, while Sonic is known for fighting a robust human in the flying machine, this specific guy doesn't belong in this world. He's Dr. C. Ovi Kintobor, better known as Nega."

The deity then told the reader to listen as they floated closer, still invisible to the two parties.

"I won't let ya get away with this, Eggman Nega!" The Blue Blur shouted while mocking the interdimensional visitor with his own archnemesis' nickname.

Nega calmly laughed at the boy's delusional bravado, stating, "You've grown to be a nuisance. I should have expected much from a child. No matter. I don't have time to speak with you right now..."

Suddenly, a tornado of red flames with a tinge of purple appeared before the two parties. When the tornado died down, a female lavender Mobian cat. The girl had triangular ears with peach-colored canals and a long tail with the end frayed and violet. Her fur is longer on each side of her head and sweeps slightly upwards. She has four plumes of hair with violet tips done up in a high ponytail with a red hair tie. She also has a red oval gem on her forehead, resembling a bindi.

Her clothing consisted of a purple tailcoat with rose trim at the bottom, a gold collar with an ornament with seven emerald-cut gemstones with the colors of the Chaos Emeralds, and white leggings. Woven on the back of her tailcoat was a hooked scepter with five colorful stars around the item. She also wore white gloves with fluffy cuffs and rose, high-heeled shoes with gray soles, white stripes, and fluffy cuffs, like her gloves.

This was Blaze the Cat, guardian of the Sol Emeralds and a princess from the Sol Dimension.

The serious and stoic female Mobian cat said, "That's too bad, so I'll just take your time."

"Blaze?" Sonic whispered in shock.

When the reader glanced at Saviturn with a bewildered expression, the god of evolution flashed a smirk and proudly declared, "Oh, her? That's Imperial Princess Blaze the Cat. She's my champion, hailing from an alternate Mobius of my Sol Dimension and protector of the Sol Emeralds, a Sol Dimension exclusive! …Sorry, tooting my own horn here. But not really."

"It's been too long, Foreigner," Blaze spat to the scientist while completely ignoring Sonic's presence.

"Fancy seeing you here, my dear princess," Nega smirked. "Although, I was not expecting an appearance from you in this universe of all places. It seems that Dr. Robotnik has made an error in his lapse of judgment."

'Princess?' Sonic thought to himself, wasn't expecting to run into royalty.

"...So guiding that madman to our dimension was your doing." Blaze inferred, narrowing golden eyes at the rotund nihilist.

"You'd be correct, my dear," Nega creepily confirmed. "It was in my best interest to get someone else to get their hands dirty and do the work for me and Robotnik was the right person for the job. In fact, I was waiting for the man's return with those precious stones of yours. As long as I have them in my possession, our world can go to hell for all I care."

For a split second, Blaze's temper spiked, causing her to alight her clawed hand with red and violet balls of fire, prepared to incinerate her arch nemesis.

"I WILL DESTROY YOU!" The cat hissed, baring her fangs.

Seeing the tension cranked up to the roof with the threat of murder being tossed around, Sonic blurred in front of her to keep the cat from acting in her rage.

"Hold up! Let's not get so hasty here!" Sonic said, putting up a hand to halt Blaze's potential attack before it could commence.

"You again!?" Blaze irritatedly groaned before taking a low but commanding tone. "Get out of my way. That is my enemy."

Despite the seriousness of the situation, Sonic cracked a grin at the no-nonsense girl, stating, "Afraid I can't do that, Blaze. He's racked up quite a debt in these parts, and I've come to collect in full."

"And who said that I need your help?" Blaze questioned with her fiery temper stepping out of her icy cold exterior, stepping closer to Sonic with body heat coming off of her with each step her heels took leaving hot footprints behind. "Guarding the Sol Emerald is my duty. I'm supposed to protect my world! I don't need anybody's help! …You're getting in my way!"

Sonic glanced at her with half-lidded eyes, saying, "Sheesh, and here I thought Knuckles and Shadow were hardheaded. You seriously need to chill out. There's no need to be wastin' all this unnecessary murderous intent on a loser like Baldy McNosehair up there."

"Excuse you!?" The insulted scientist uttered, taking offense to Sonic's childish joke.

However, Sonic's attempt to defuse the tension with childish banter proved to be futile as he immediately dodged a fireball shot by Blaze the Cat with his superior speed.

"ACK!" Sonic yelped, having to slap one of his quills that was burnt by Blaze's attack to extinguish the small flame before glaring at her. "HEY! What the hell's your frickin' problem, lady!?"

"I'm not the problem. You're still here, and still running your mouth. And since you refuse to leave…" Blaze spoke in a threatening tone, summoning her flames with her clawed hands again. "...Then I'll make you wish you had."

Sonic gazed at her like she had gone insane.

"Are you seriously picking a fight with me? Right now!?" Sonic screamed, finding what he put himself in completely ridiculous.

Much like the obscure reader and Saviturn, Nega saw the new development to be entertaining.

" Ha ha ha... Well, this certainly got interesting. Hopefully, they'll destroy each other with this little skirmish, then I can be off on my merry way." The Sol Dimension genius cackled as he drove his Egg Mobile away from the two Mobians to watch from afar. "I think I'm going to like it here."

"Now, let the battle begin!" Saviturn excitedly declared.

Cloaking her body in red flames with a purple tinge, Blaze launched herself at Sonic, who jumped away from the girl and landed on the other side of the platform.

Growling at Sonic, she caught up to him by launching herself forward using her pyrokinesis (Jump Step) while cloaking her claws in flames with the intent to land searing and piercing damage on Sonic.

This attack was Blaze's Fire Claw, her equivalent to the Homing Attack.

Unfortunately for the angry princess, Sonic accessed his newly acquired Quick Step ability and dodged multiple Fire Claw swipes with his superior.

"Damn, you!" Blaze hissed, fighting with the intent to maim or quite possibly kill Sonic. "Hold still!"

Sonic, however, jumped upward while spinning in place (while curled into a ball). From there, Sonic generated power with kinetic energy before releasing several shockwaves that prompted Blaze to put her arms up and block the attack, pushing her several feet back on the platform.

This attack was the Sonic Storm, an aerial variant of the Sonic Wave attack.

The blue adventurer landed on the ground and stared at the girl, now donning a serious and weary expression on his face with his eyes narrowed.

'Now, I've done it! She's completely lost it! I better tread lightly and knock some sense into Blaze if I want to make it outta this one! If not for my sake, then for Cream's sake.' Sonic thought to himself. 'But first, I'll try talkin' straight and appeal to her logical side.'

The tips of Blaze's hair and the end of her tail were lit aflame as the cat glared coldly at Sonic.

"Deciding to drop these childish games and take this seriously? Or are you still going to play this cowardly farce?" Blaze questioned, continuing to look down on Sonic.

Sonic ignored her goading and said, "Get over yourself! I ain't a fan of Eggman or his freaky twin for that matter, but killin' them won't fix either of our universes. If anything, we should be working with each other to fix their mess and save both worlds. Let's squash this grudge right now before someone really gets hurt and gets to the real issue."

"My only issue right now is you!" Blaze spat back before charging the flames she wielded towards her feet while crouching.

Unleashing her new attack, Sonic was hit by a mini-tornado made of fire, causing him to crash into a wall. Sonic groaned from the violent impact and had been embedded by the force of the crash. That, and the burns on his body wasn't exactly pleasant for the Fastest Thing Alive.

"Your meddling will not go unpunished."

Blaze glared at the blue hedgehog's stunned form and charged up a large ball of fire in her hand.

"Burn to ashes!" Blaze shouted, then fired the ball of flame at Sonic to finish him off. "Prédation Solaire!"

Before the attack could wipe him out, Sonic opened his eyes and saw the incoming projectile. He quickly slid down the wall to narrowly avoid the fiery attack, causing a big explosion in his wake.

Blaze stood in silence, stoically awaiting the results of her handiwork. She was met with disappointment and frustration as Sonic emerged from the smoke using the Boost Dash to propel himself forward and avoid falling off the bottomless pit that Robotnik conveniently designed in his space station for some reason.

Landing on the platform, Sonic and Blaze started exchanging blows by switching to hand-to-hand combat. While Sonic was quick to react to her strikes, Blaze had an edge in martial arts given how refined it was. Her attacks involved utilizing ballerina-like movements and pirouettes to control her momentum and guide the force of her hard blows which were coated in fire. Meanwhile, Sonic played defense, relying on his lightning-quick reflexes to evade, block, and/or counterattack with his well-known capoeira/b-boy/break dance-inspired fighting style to study the imperial princess' patterns and habits.

In spite of his strategy, holding back against his opponent created many opportunities for Blaze to punish Sonic for his mercy. He had been scratched, decked in the sternum, taken kicks in the face from her heels, and burnt a dozen times in the process.

The injured Sonic slid back to keep himself from falling off the platform. He crouched down and winced in pain from the multiple cuts, bruises, and burn marks all over his body.

'...S-Shoot! I'll admit, this Cat Girl's definitely tougher than she looks. Amy and Rouge got nothin' on this chick.' Sonic winced in his mind. 'Should I use one of the Chaos Emeralds to end this? ...Nah, I got this. Besides, I ain't Shadow. I can take her down in my own way.'

Using her pyrokinesis, Blaze raised her open hands and manifested several geysers of red flames with a violet tinge to scorch Sonic alive. Sonic immediately curled into a ball and swerved around the pillars of flames while gaining enough distance to make his next move.

Sonic's body started to produce bio-electricity in his eyes and through his gloved hands. The electrifying glare locked eyes with the burning glare of Blaze.

'...Finally, his demeanor suddenly changed.' Blaze thought to herself. 'To think he's actually going to try and attack me head-on after all of that punishment he took.'

The blue hedgehog then stuck out his gloved right hand's thumb, index, and middle fingers.

"Alright, princess. You wanna play rough? Fine, then! GAME ON!" Sonic declared before curling into a ball.

Blaze then watched as Sonic spun in place for a few seconds until he was completely covered in a light blue outer glow.

When he finished, Sonic took a runner's starting position, prompting Blaze to question the teenager despite his current condition.

"Surely, you jest. Must you try your hand at attacking me in the condition you're in? " Blaze inquired, crossing her arms while continuing to look down on the hedgehog with her holier-than-thou attitude. "Perhaps you wish for death."

"Heh. Hate to break it you ya, lady, but you got it all wrong. I let you hit me. Not the other way around." Sonic stated coldly, with absolutely no adventurous joy in his heart at the moment. "In fact, from now on, you ain't touchin' me!"

In a flash of light blue, Sonic vanished from sight, catching Blaze completely off guard.

"W-What the-!?" Blaze gasped, whipping her head around while trying and failing to track Sonic's ludicrously fast movements.

'Impossible! He wasn't moving like this before! How can he be capable of such speed by running!?' The princess screamed in her mind.

Unfortunately for Blaze, she never got a chance to ponder further as she was bombarded with several spin kicks to the face from Sonic, with the last kick sending the guardian to her side of the chamber's wall. But instead of being stuck in the wall, Blaze ricocheted like a ball, allowing Sonic to capitalize on her lack of recovery by landing a powerful somersault kick, sending the girl flipping upwards with a bloodied and bruised face. But before Blaze's head could have potentially gone through the ceiling, Sonic used the Bounce Attack to spring upwards in a flash to meet his opponent before impact. Using this as leverage, Sonic sent Blaze hurdling down to the platform in a condition similar to Sonic with his signature Homing Attack, ending his Light Speed Attack chain combo.

Sonic hopped back to the opposite side of the chamber. Blaze got up from the small impression the impact of her fall created, now with tears, dirt, and cuts on her clothing while her face was bloodied and bruised.

She panted but angrily hissed at Sonic for dishonoring her.

"Y-You…! How d-dare you…!" The girl huffed, holding her injured left arm.

Sonic cocked his head to the side with a scowl on his face, calmly saying, "Don't give me that spell, Your Majesty. You were cruisin' for that bruisin'. So don't get mad 'cause you weren't ready for any of this."

"You arrogant curr!" Blaze spat, trying to regain her regal and dominant demeanor. "Just who the hell do you think you are!?"

"...Who am I?" Sonic echoed before using his gloved right-hand thumb to point to himself and he declared, "I'm the Fastest Thing Alive, Sonic the Hedgehog!"

Blaze was absolutely livid. Not by the boy's declaration, but by his power and speed he has completely outclassed her. And by a commoner, no less! And his stare. That damn stare! It reminded her of how another hedgehog used to look at her back in the Sol Dimension. It brought her back to the times he would upstage Blaze in control over his powers, no different from what Sonic was doing now. And it infuriated her to no end.

She got up and prepared herself for battle once more, causing Sonic to inwardly groan at the persistence of the Sol Dimension native.

Her inner flame certainly did not waver, even when physically beaten.

"For Tikal's sake, just drop this already! This ain't gon' change a thing!" Sonic tried to dissuade Blaze's bullheaded behavior.

"You understand nothing!" Blaze vehemently shouted, bordering between anger and desperation. "You know nothing of the weight of this burden that I have to bear! The fate of millions of lives… an entire empire, no, the universe's fate is on my shoulders! If I fail, I will have nothing left! It would bring about the greatest disgrace! …Don't you see now? I have to do what I was born to do by myself!"

"If you think you can carry the whole world on your shoulders then you're just out of it as Eggman Nega!"

"SILENCE! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU!" Blaze bellowed, manifesting her intense flames all around her body. "JUST GO AWAY!"

Sonic said nothing but manifested his kinetic energy in a blue aura while light blue electricity surrounded the aura.

Both combatants rushed at each other, ending up colliding with one another in a great big power clash. At first, Blaze had pushed Sonic back due to her willpower intensifying the vitality of her Fire Boost. Though, this did not last long. Sonic decided to unleash a bit more of his kinetic energy, growing his Super Boost shield, completely overwhelming Blaze, and pushing her off the cliff.

"WOOO! YEAAAH! Now that was a show!" A certain god shouted, yet neither Sonic nor Nega reacted to it.

The reader turned to see Saviturn, who had a great big smile. The god saw the reader looking at him and shrugged, saying, "What? You thought I'd be upset with my avatar winning? Please, regardless of who won, I still get bragging rights! Now, let's watch a little bit more,"

Meanwhile, Nega watched the scene, then quickly left the area in secret, leaving Sonic to follow a fallen and defeated Blaze the Cat. She struggled but managed to stand on one knee despite her body shaking.

Sonic slowly approached the princess, and asked, "...Can you stand up?"

Blaze felt her cold facade and anger slip away as she punched the ground in frustration. Sonic could see two tear droplets fall onto the metal floor.

Sonic was confused by this. It was like he had fought the physical manifestation of a girl's various mood swings. Was Blaze falling apart something to do with her losing the fight? Or was she caught up in the stress of her job?

Little did he know the skeletons in her closet back at her home reality.

"I…I mustn't fail!" She choked, finally showing her insecurity and blatant guilt. "I need…to save the Sol Emeralds! I owe it to all of them! My people, my father…Marine…S-Silver."

'...Seems like she's had a rough past.' Sonic thought to himself before offering the girl his hand.

She looked to see Sonic's hand and looked at him with confusion.

He lightly joked, "A bit overzealous, aren't we?"

"...Why?" The girl questioned. "Why would you help me after all that I-"

"-Hey now, don't worry about all of that. Believe it or not, this ain't my first time at the rodeo." Sonic reassured her before pulling Blaze on her feet. "Besides, I can tell when somebody's got a lot of heavy stuff on their mind."

Blaze averted her eyes shamefully to her heel boots. Sonic saw that both Blaze and himself looked pretty beaten up. So, he took out the green Chaos Emerald from his quills and manifested its power to heal their wounds and restore their clothing as if nothing happened between them, shocking the princess.

"H-How did you do that?" The girl questioned, amazed at her healthy condition.

"You mean how I healed us? Easy, Chaos Energy," Sonic answered casually, putting the Chaos Emerald back into his quills. "You don't have that where you come from, huh?"

"I've heard of Chaos Magic, but not the energy itself," Blaze admitted before trying to apologize. "...I am ashamed of my actions. I shouldn't have taken out my issues on you. Please, accept my-"

"-Hey, I said not to sweat it! It's water under the bridge," Sonic said, placing a comforting shoulder on the girl and giving Blaze a carefree grin. "From now on, don't bite off more than you can chew. And be yourself."

"Blaze!"

The two former opponents turned to see a little Mobian rabbit girl running up to them. Sonic smiled and waved at the girl while Blaze was currently lost in deep thought.

'...Father, I've been a fool. You were right. Blaze thought to herself as a single tear fell from her right eye, thinking about her father, the Imperial Guard of her dimension, a raccoon girl around the rabbit's age, and a silver-colored hedgehog. 'All of you were right.'

The girl suddenly uttered, "...Perhaps... Perhaps, you're right. I can rely on comrades- no, on friends, if I let myself…"

"That's awesome to hear!" Sonic said before introducing himself again. "I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog. Nice to meet ya!"

Not used to a former adversary suddenly becoming friendly, Blaze looked at the older hedgehog awkwardly, saying, "I-I'm Blaze. …It's nice to meet you too."

Above the setting, Saviturn sighed, saying, "Aw, is that a wholesome ending~?"

He turned to the reader and told them, "You know, this could have ended a lot differently. But I'll let you have this happy ending. Let's head back."

In a flash of gold, both the reader and the god of sunlight were gone without a trace of them left behind.

Saryu Pathways (Cosmic Highway), Space In-between Dimensions

Saviturn stood before the reader, smiling as he looked at them. The reader looked at their hands and found that their body was tangible and visible again.

"You know, I had a good time today. I saw my wife, played with the Wisps, and I got to watch a heated battle with an interesting guest." Saviturn said, crossing his arms. "I still can't believe you found a place like this! I can tell you are just a mortal, but I can't help but feel like there's something…special about you. I just can't put my finger on it."

The god then placed a hand on his chin and asked, "Say, do you know how to get back to your own world?"

The god sensed that the reader did not know they even got to his domain, let alone how they could return.

The first Quickster snorted, saying, "...I figured as much. You are mortals. Then, I guess it can be helped. It's been fun, but you best be off. Ciao!"

Saviturn, holding a hold of the reader's head channeled his power from his hand and sent it through the reader's body, causing them to see white, and then darkness.

The End

Author's Notes: Hey guys, DSG451 here!

This project and its format are very experimental. But it essentially gives me the freedom to explore other parts of this continuity without having to build up entire arcs for the payoff. I was inspired by DBX and One Minute Melee. Now, I have the opportunity to show off characters that exist in the greater multiverse and their capabilities without messing up the primary story.

I've settled on using one of the VERY few OCs in this continuity to interact with you guys in the entry as a means to make the anthology more intimate as if you, the readers, were present. Is it different? Yes. Will everybody like it? Probably not. But, hey! It beats writing the same old thing all the time.

Saviturn is a RESURGENCE-exclusive character that I have yet to commission somebody to draw, but I plan on doing so as soon as I can. He's based on Savitr, the old Hindu god of motion, and his name comes from that and the Sega Saturn. And as for his explanation, that is considered canon to all things RESURGENCE related. That includes the birth of creation, the gods, and the recontextualization of characters, events, and continuity. In fact, the fight between Sonic and Blaze takes place before Nazo Unleashed (RESURGENCE version), after the events of ABSOLUTION, but before the Silver one-shot.

Blaze's character will be further explored in ABSOLUTION, but do know that her attitude and rude nature were taken from her original Japanese portrayal. Her fight with pre-RESURGENCE Sonic is the breaking point and the turning point for her eventual redemption later down the line. She's not based on her English localized counterpart but will exhibit qualities of that version of her later.

Speaking of Blaze, the Prédation Solaire is a fanmade attack that Blaze has, which is executed by creating a giant fireball.

The Cosmic Interstate exists. However, it is different here and is called something different. The road itself is made of Hyper-Go-On energy, formed by the Wisps. The Mother Wisp is the child of Saviturn and Illumina, an angel goddess from Sonic Shuffle. While Saviturn can freely travel across the multiverse with his Sol Energy, the Wisps assist Saviturn by creating these pathways for the god's convenience. Because Saviturn is fast enough to make duplicates and uncouple himself from time, he can travel without messing with history, eliminating the need for Zone Cops. The Wisps exist in his domain and unless someone was able to move fast enough and vibrate at a certain frequency to enter the space between dimensions, it is virtually impossible to enter the Surya Pathways.

Please let me know your thoughts on this first entry. See you guys later and have a blessed day!
