"I think that's all we need. Thanks for the assist, Paimon." Navia said with a grateful smile. "But I can't help but wonder. Why isn't Aether here?"
"Paimon didn't do that much, but you're welcome! He said he needed to do something alone today. Paimon's not really sure what he's up to." Paimon shrugged nonchalantly. Aether had been slipping away more frequently lately, leaving Paimon increasingly suspicious. This morning, he left a letter saying he was going to be away for the whole day and that he needed to do something alone.
"That's odd. I thought you two were inseparable. But, I might have a hunch about our blond hero's activities," Navia said, smirking knowingly.
"Oh! Tell Paimon what you know! Wait…don't tell Paimon, it's-" Paimon realized what Navia was hinting at.
"Yep! I think we're on the same page here, so we both know what's going on already!" Navia giggled. "Many of my agents have reportedly seen the Traveler and MIss Furina going out on strolls around the city. And Clorinde told me that she had seen them in - shall we say - intimate moments."
"Intimate…moments? You mean like Clorinde and yourself?" Paimon teased, a smug expression on her face.
"W- What are you talking about? Anyway, since you've helped me with my errands, why don't I help you find Aether?" She brushed it away, though her face was dusted with pink.
Paimon heard that aside from being called the City of Justice, Fontaine was also called the City of Love. She never believed the latter title until she witnessed it for herself - why the heck is everyone falling in love with each other? First, it was Navia and Clorinde, then it was Aether and Furina! If another Fontainian friend fell in love, she might just lose it.
"Alright, let's go. But Paimon's wondering. How do you plan on looking for them?"
"We can ask around. I'm sure some of my agents have seen them out and about today." Navia said, "And if we're desperate…we can ask Clorinde…"
Paimon rolled her eyes and followed Navia to Fleuve Cendre.
"Any place you'd like to go to Furina?" Aether asked
They were walking side-by-side in the pouring rain. Furina was latching onto his left arm while his right arm held an umbrella to shield them from the rain.
"Maybe we can go to this restaurant I heard of. Clorinde said they have tons of options, so I want to try it with you." Furina said, "Oh, before I forget, there's a pretty famous musical showing tonight, I was thinking, would you like to go watch it with me?"
"I'd love to, Furina," Aether replied with a smile.
"Any leads?" Navia asked.
"Mademoiselle, we last saw them walking around Quartier Lyonnais, as to where they were heading, we couldn't find any info. The rain was too heavy for us to eavesdrop." A Spina di Rosula agent reported.
"Wow, Paimon never realized that you had so many spies, and you had them watch Aether and Furina," Paimon remarked, scratching her head.
"I wanted to know what's happening with my partner, that's all. And to top it off, it'll make good blackmail material whenever we hang out again!" Navia laughed. "Don't worry I don't plan on making this public knowledge. The one you should be worrying about is our dear friend Charlotte."
Paimon agreed. If Charlotte were to catch wind of such juicy news. It'll only spread out like wildfire.
"So, what possible venues do you think they're at right now? Or maybe they walked to another place?"
"Hm… that's the tricky part. But we do have some leads. Let's head to Quartier Lyonnais and see if we can uncover their whereabouts," Navia suggested.
"No need to check. I have a feeling I know where those two are," a voice interrupted.
Navia and Paimon turned towards the voice.
"Clorinde!" Paimon greeted Clorinde.
"Hello Navia, Paimon." She gave them a small nod of acknowledgment.
"How did you know we were here?" Navia asked.
"I saw the both of you together after I finished with my work. I decided to follow you." Clorinde answered.
"You do realize that you could've just called out our names, right?" Navia remarked.
"Sorry…" Chloride said, her face flushed pink slightly.
Oh, Celestia. Why does Paimon have to be the third wheel. ALL. THE. TIME?! Paimon thought. She might actually go crazy right now. She was already dealing with Aether and Furina's subtle will-they-won't-they flirting, and now she had to deal with Navia and Clorinde, too?
"Okay, okay. Let's go find the Traveler and Furina!"
"They should be at this restaurant," Clorinde said.
The trio stood in front of a restaurant. It was a good guess from Clorinde, Navia thought. Apparently, Clorinde heard Furina whispering to herself, saying how she'd like to bring Aether here to dine when they were out together. She wanted to laugh, Aether and Furina were just too cute, and she was happy for them, especially Furina. Having heard the truth from Aether, she couldn't help but sympathize with her. After five hundred years of suffering, seeing her enjoying life and starting to live for herself, was reassuring.
"Alright! Paimon must say, your disguises are perfect, Navia!" Paimon commented. "Paimon doesn't think Furina or Aether can notice."
Navia had provided the three of them with disguises so they wouldn't get spotted easily. Navia had her hair tied up in a bun and was dressed in a suit, with a pair of sunglasses hiding her eyes. Clorinde wore a black dress with sunglasses on as well, and she let her usually tied hair down. While Paimon dressed up as Clorinde and Navia's child.
"Yep! Let's have a look around inside."
The trio set down their umbrellas and walked in together, and just as they suspected, Aether and Furina were sitting together side-by-side. The trio went to the waiter and got a table on the other side of the room, but they made sure they had the couple in view. Aether was struggling with reading the menu while Furina was…staring at him? Navia was tempted to take a picture but refrained from doing so.

"Furina, can you help me with this? I still haven't fully understood Fontaine's scripts." Aether looked towards her. Furina, who realized she was staring at him, turned away sheepishly, before answering. "Sure, which part do you need help with?"
"Oh, it's this part in the pastries section, Écureuil au chocolat? Is that how you say it?" Aether scratched his head, trying to make sense of what he read. When Furina heard what he said, she could not help but giggle, no, laugh at him. She was laughing so hard tears started to form. Aether's face grimaced, was the way he said it that bad?
Furina was laughing hard. Did something happen between them? The trio watched with amusement as Aether tried to understand what he did wrong.
"You dummy. What you said meant chocolate squirrel . I think you meant to say éclair au chocolat." Furina managed to say through her laughs. "Worry not, my witness , I shall be your tutor. As you have helped me with my powers, I shall help you with your language learning."
"You're mean, you know." Aether pouted. Furina thought it looked cute.
"You not understanding the language of my homeland is unacceptable. I will teach you until you are as good as me." Furina said. She wanted him to be as intimate as possible with her homeland.
"Then I'll take you up on your offer, my lady." They laughed together, enjoying their moment together. They held each other's hands while staring at each other fondly.

"Aw…Look at them! They're so cute!" Navia gushed. Clorinde smiled, she was happy that her former boss found happiness in her life.
"That skirt chaser. Paimon should have known that he was sneaking off to go see Furina." Paimon grumbled.
/
"Oh, I forgot to tell you. You look very pretty, today" Aether complimented with a blush on his face. "Not that you're not ever pretty."
Furina giggled as her cheeks flushed pink. "Thank you. You look dashing too, my knight in shining armor."
/
"Now, they're just flirting with each other. Ew." Paimon groaned.
"Aw, come on. Don't be like that, Paimon. Fontaine isn't called the City of Love for no reason, see." Navia said. "That being said… since we're already here, why don't we enjoy ourselves, Clorinde?"
"Oh? Then it's a date." Clorinde smiled as she took a sip of the complimentary tea.
"Leave Paimon out of this!" Paimon floated away, leaving the couple alone, as she didn't want to be a third wheel to another couple.
Clorivia? NaCl? I don't know what their ship's called.
Also, Aerina date :3
