Mew Matcha

Days go by, and I haven't found the next mew. I'm constantly working at the cafe and going to school to hear anything, and Bara hasn't altered me about her. And Knight Bito hasn't shown up in days, either.

"Reika, have you been to this new café yet? It's so adorable, and they play J-pop on the radio. Do you work there?" Masami asks me.

I looked up, shocked. "Yes, Sister, I do; they serve lovely teas and sweets." I explained, as I noticed that my deer ears had popped out. I panicked and headed to the bathroom. I heard Masami knock on the door.

"Are you okay, Rekia?" asked Masami. "Why did you run to the bathroom?"

"I'm okay, Masami; I just had to use the bathroom! I turned around; deer ears and my short tail was out too. "Eekk"

"Are you sure, Rekia? I'll wait for you then."

"Okay...I'll be right back!" I said, trying to text Sake and Professor Betzel about what was happening. No response came, so I tried to calm down. My ears and tail disappeared as I did.

"Rekia, I'm going to head in out, there's a storm coming, and I don't wanna get caught in it," yelled Masami

"Okay, I'll let you out." I checked my reflection in the mirror, and it seems that calming down helped. And head out of the bathroom.

"You weirdo, took you long enough," as Masami hugged me goodbye. "I'll text you when I get home."

I waved goodbye to my sister and pulled my tiny sewing machine out of storage. As I turned it on, I drifted off into my daydreams. I wanted to attend an anime convention that was coming up. It's in a few months, and I plan to create a new cosplay. I'll be dressing as one of the main characters from Lovers in Denial. The protagonist is loving and caring, but her primary goal is to find the perfect husband. I could hear the winds picking up, causing the tree branches outside my dorm window to collide. This sudden gust seemed unusual for this time of year, typically associated with autumn or stormy weather.

Meanwhile, on the desolate planet of Haxx,

"Queen Kinoko, I have an incredible plan to destroy Mew Rose tea."

"What is it, Bito?"

"My thoughts on the next animal predator would be something a deer is afraid of," explained Knight Bito, "A coyote didn't work, but what about something more significant?"

"You may take a Pearl parasite but use it wisely; I don't want to lose one of my precious pearls."

Back to Earth as Rekia is working a shift at Cafe Boba

"Rekia, should you be cleaning the floors of the cafe?" asked Sake

"Yes, Sake, I did; where are all the

customers?" I asked as a golden brown-haired with space buns came in. She wore a turtle neck shirt with puffed sleeves, a high-waisted skirt, long white stockings, and a pair of mary jane shoes.

"Hello? I...D-D Do you serve Boba t-t-tea here?" She asks as Mochi bursts out of the kitchen. Mochi dressed as a waiter in a white button-down shirt with black slacked pants and black leather suspenders.

"Hello, miss..."

"Oh uh..m-m-my name is Sora...i-i-is this like a maid cafe?"

"Yes, my lady, Rekia, and I will serve you well." Mochi took Sora by her side and led her to a small table beside the bookshelf. "Miss Sora, you wanted a boba tea; what flavor? And would you like anything to eat?"

A few other girls and guys started coming as Mochi took her order. The Cafe had a massive rush of people ordering teas and treats. I saw Sora drink a matcha milk tea with grass jelly as I was busting tables. Sake and the others kept an eye on Sora. It felt like hours had passed as we started to close up shop. I did notice that she was on the computer,

"Rekia, I think you need to spy on Sora."

"Ah, why, she perfectly normal?" I asked Sake

"I feel something off about her; it seems weird that we had a windstorm out of nowhere last night," he explains. "let's go to the lab and scan all the footage; Reika, before you leave, could you clean up?"

"Why the hell am I doing all the cleaning?" I jumped up as my ears and tail popped out again. The boys looked shocked and confused.

"Ah, I forgot to tell you that Rekia, your animal ears, and tail might show up if you have a high emotional state," explained Professor Bretzel. "Just calm down, and you should be back to normal."

"How is that normal, so if I stress out, my ears and tail pop out?" I asked

"Don't worry about Rekia," Mochi pats my head. "It just means you have a more significant connection with your animal."

"Oh, I see; I guess I should start cleaning up; mochi, you want to help me?"

Mochi nods yes and helps me start cleaning. It felt like hours when we accomplished cleaning. I looked outside, and it got dark out. I guess it night time as I look at my watch. Bara started to act up.

"Alert alien DNA sense in the area!" yelled Bara

"Whoa! I didn't think Bara did that?" as I heard winds picking up and the temperature changing.

"To the lab guys!" yelled Sake. I followed down to the basement of the cafe. Computers and lab tables are everywhere.

"So, who or what is going on," I asked

"If my theory is correct, I think Knight Bito is planning an attack, but where?" explained Sake. The boys started typing on the keyboards of the computers. "Rekia, take R4021 out and try to locate where the alien DNA is." I nod as I take Bara with me.

"Oh, before you go, here, take this."Udon has me a communicator, shaped like a deer within a rose. "It will help us communicate with us."

I nod, putting on the wrist commentator, and head-on out with Bara; I kept on running; it felt like a few minutes had passed. Then a massive gust of wind passed me by. I looked up, and I could see a bright green pigtailed girl wearing a green dress with beautiful moth wings drifting in the light night sky.

"Moth-wing hysteria!" yelled the moth girl. As I gazed at her wings, I felt light-headed and confused. I started to fall to the ground, as sweat fell from my forehead.

"Mew DNA in the area!" yelled Bara as I began to blacken out; I could hear a voice through my commentator,

"Rekia, you need to transform and help the other Mew!" I could hear in the distance. "Rekia, snap out of it!"

As I closed my eyes, I felt something slapping me in the face. I jolted out of the state, and I looked up.

"Who's talking to me?" I asked out loud as I looked at my wrist communicator. As I was still dazed.

"It's Sake; it's time to transform!" Sake yells at me.

"Alright, I will!" as I get myself together. I felt my power come to form my mark as I pull out my pendant. "Mew The mew Rose tea Metamorphosis!" I yelled in the air. I kissed the pendant with my lips and pressed the charm to my throat. I felt my energy surrounding me, and a bright light also did. Rose petals surrounded me; a light pink ruffle dress popped on my body, and a pink bow popped on my side. I lifted my hands; The petals covered my hands as I moved them. A pair of arm puff sleeves and pink gloves wrapped my hands and arms. I swirl around, and the petals surround my feet and legs, springing up a pair of pink shin-high heeled boots and a furry pink grater. I clap my hands, and a set of deer antlers bounds up from my head as a pair of deer ears appear. I jumped up, and a deer tail appeared as I swirled. I turn around as the petals surround my neck and emerge a chocker with my pendant.

I hear Sake from the commentator, "Mew Rose, let's help the mysterious new Mew. This mew is located at the herb gardens and north of your location."

"I'll run there as fast as I can, Sake," I replied. I ran there as quickly as my legs let me; the winds kept getting stronger as I approached the herbalist gardens.

"Oh looky here, my Favorite girl is here," said a distant flirtatious male voice. "Mew Rose tea, you come out to play." I looked up in the sky, and I saw Knight Bito floating in mid-air as he attacked the moth-mew girl.

"Moth Skybomb!" the moth-mew girl attacks Knight Bito with fantastic speed as she drops off the sky, with a whirlwind surrounding her, pulling Knight Bito down to the ground. Who is this girl?

"I'm not a plaything, and I'm Mew Matcha!" shouted Mew Matcha

"Your no fun, Mew Matcha!" Knight Bito pushes Mew Matcha off, clearly looking hurt. It's my chance to attack with my Rosette bell.

"Rosette Bell!" I yelled, and nothing happened.

"Ahhh, hehe," said Knight bito, "what happened, Mew Rose tea? Did you lose your power already?" he asked.

"Eh, I don't know how this works!" I get flustered. Knight Bito teleported away from Mew Matcha and came up behind me. I can feel his breath against my ear, and he glances at Mew Matcha. I could feel my heart pounding, and I couldn't breathe since Kinght Bito held me as tight as he could. "I'm going to be back, my dearest, when you least expect it." he raised his hand, and a lot of light energy basted out of his hand, attacking Mew Matcha. She leaps up in the air so the attack can miss her as Knight Bito disappears. A gust of wind blows shoved me to the ground.

"Mew Rose Tea, come back to the lab; we must investigate why Knight Bito was in the Herb gardens." Explaining the Sake of the commentator.

Meanwhile, on the haax home planet

"So tell me, Knight Bito, what is your plan again?" Questioned Queen Kinoko

"Well, Queen Kinoko, there's an herb there that will help us draw out the animals that will help us with our plans." Knight Bito explained, "When I compound herbs and the parasite, the Chamira will be even wilder and primitive."

"I see, Knight Bito. Please continue the plans, but if you fail, you will be disciplined for your failers, and I will send out another of my faithful knights."

"Yes, my Queen." as Knight Bito started to leave the throne room, he could hear snickering in the background. As a more petite guy approached Bito, his blackened eyes stared back at him.

"Your crush on this human is pitiful, Bito," as the strange alien. "Just fail already, so I can get the resources that we need,"

"Remon, there's no need to rush. Once I get what I need, WE can have the planet as it was." Knight Bito "Teasing and flirty with that human is just a perk." Bito turns away, thinking about Rekia, and he secretly blushes.

Everything fades to black, and we return with Rekia as she heads back to her dorm room after the debriefing on the fight she had.

I spent the rest of the night pondering why Knight bito attacked the herbs gardens. And why Mew Matcha was so protective of it. I know Professor Bretzel was explaining that the Herbalist gardens have ancient herbs that can the Haxx cause against us. But why do they want to fight us in the first place? Some things don't add up. I lay in bed and couldn't sleep, my mind grinding the thoughts in my head.

I wake up from a sleepless night and rub my eyes, and head to the bathroom to get ready for the morning. After I had prepared, I left for about an hour. As I was heading to school, I saw Sora picking something on the side of the road.

"Hey, aren't you, Sora?" I asked as I walked up close to her. "Were you in Cafe Boba the other day?"

"Y-Y-yes I am, w-w-who are you?" asked Sora. "A-And how did you get my name? Did t-t-the waiter tell you?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I just overheard you tell Watier mochi, and I'm Rekia; I was the other waitress."

"Ohh, I-I remember n-now." as Sora continue picking, I felt my Bara moving in my bag, she pops out about to alert me, and I try to stuff her back in my bag.

"Sora, are you the only one here, right?" I asked her, looking around, wondering why Bara was freaking out. "Do you have friends with you?"

"W-w-well, I-I-I D-do." Sora looked up and looked around. "Oh. T-They must be sleeping r-r-right now." explained Sora, "they are usually out at night."

I looked confused, and I tried to hold Bara from coming out of my bag, "Oh, you have night classes; that's terrible they left you behind., but I would like to befriend you.." Bara keeps moving about, and Bara's movement knocks me over. As I fell, I noticed Sora's neck, which had a marking of moth wings and a boba pearl.

"A-are you, A-all r-right?" Sora turns around quickly and looks at me with a shocked look, and puts out her hand to help me up.

"Yes, I am." I take her hand to help myself, "Well, I got to get going now, but ill see you around?"

"W-well, I-I-am glad y-y-your o-okay. And I-I I would love you t-t-to be my friend." Sora smiles; her smile is the brightest one I've seen it.

I waved goodbye and headed off to school, and I kept thinking about Sora's mark on her neck; maybe she and Mew matcha were connected. I should tell Sake and the others about her. At my last class, the sun was setting, and I could feel the cold air blowing. As I headed to Cafe Boba, I felt the winds pick up. So I took out Bara.

"Bara, is mew Matcha nearby?"

"Aye!" yelled Bara "mew, DNA is around the culinary classrooms."

"Alright, let's go!" I yelled back as I grabbed my pendant to transform into Mew Rose tea; I felt the energy from it.

I ran as fast as my deer feet would let me. In the distance, I could hear the winds howling.

"Alert! Alien and Mew Dna detected!" Bara yelled as we approached the classroom. The classroom is near the Herb Gardens, so it must mean the Mew Matcha is nearby. It felt like she was guarding the garden with her life the last time Knight Bito was here.

"Hehe. Oh, pitiful Mew Matcha, Mew Rose Tea isn't here to save you this time." knight Bito snickers at her. "You're going to give me the Cyanbloom!"

"Never! That Herb is precious to me." I watched her leap in the air. "No one but me will touch this herb!" her wings spread out wide, and I felt like she would use her wind attacks.

"Stop this now!" I yelled as I approached the situation. "There is no need to be fighting over some herb!"

"Oh, lovely Mew Rose Tea is here." Knight Bito flies by me, putting his hand on my waist and holding me tight with his grip. "Wanna watch something?"

"N-N-no!" I nervously yelled, his body close to my mind flustered me. "L-L-let me go!" Knight Bito reports right in front of the garden, picking the Cyanbloom from its roots.

"Moth Skybomb!" yelled Mew Matcha as she dropped from the sky; I closed my eyes, preparing for the blast of the impact.

"Don't worry, my sweet, I'll protect you," whispers Knight Bito, holding me tighter as he moves at the speed of light. "You've got to be faster than that Mew Matcha!"

"Give it back! You have no right to have that, Herb!" she yells as she prepares for another attack. "I'll keep attacking you till I have my herb!"

"You're herb? Ha! This herb was on my planet before my King explored the galaxy before humanity evolved." smirks Knight Bito, and he starts to laugh.

"W-what are you doing?" I questioned him as he continued to laugh

"Oh my sweets, it's time for me to go, but first, that surprise I wanted to give you." Knight Bito grines devilishly, and he shoves to the ground; he Teleports close to Mew Matcha's face. Bring the Cyanbloom to his mouth and blow pollen particles in Matcha's face. Matcha's eyes changed; they looked like they were enraged. She seamlessly summoned a fan by herself.

"Hahaha, have fun, you two..." As Knight bito leaves with the rest of the Cyanbloom.

"Sake! Sake! Can you hear me?" as I try to get a hold of the lab, I feel wrong about this.

"We read you loud and clear Mew Rose tea; where are you?" asked Sake through the communicator.

"I found Mew Matcha, and Knight Bito took the Cyanbloom!" I tried to explain, and I could make sense that Mew Matcha was about to attack me.

"Fuck! Did any pollen fall on you or mew Matcha?" Sake tries to get information from me, but before I know it, I hear Mew Matcha yell something.

"Matcha inraged tornado!" Mew Matcha releases from her fan, and I felt all the anger and rapid winds heading straight for me; I tried to outrun it, but I got swept up in it.

"Aahh!" I yelled, but I couldn't hear myself; I was getting tossed around, and I could get a grip on anything. I felt faint and dizzy.

"Mew Rose tea, can you hear me!" a distant voice I could hear outside of the tornado. "You got to breathe!" I tried to take a breath, but I felt even angrier. I summoned my Rosette bell, though my inraged state.

"Musky Rose cacophony!" I shouted as a foul perfume lingered in the air with disharmony music played from my Rosette bell. I felt angrier as the tornado starts to disappear.

"Mew Rose Tea, You Need to Calm down!" as Someone was shouting at me! I turned around, and Bara and someone with firey hair and a fluffy tail I hadn't seen before blew pollen in my face. My anger started to subside, and I looked up at Mew Matcha; she looked still furious. I tried to find who was standing next to Bara. I need to calm down, Mew Matcha.

"Mew Matcha, this isn't you!" I tried to reason with Mew Matcha, but the firey-tailed girl popped up next to her and blew pollen into her face too.

"Mew Rose Tea, can you hear us!" yells Sake from the communicator.

"Another Mew Dna sensed in the area!" Bara interrupted as Sake tried to talk to me; I saw the firey-tailed girl leaving.

"Yes, I can hear you, Sake; I tried calling before Mew Matcha's attack. What did the Cyanbloom do to us?"

"Well, we will explain that later; we can sense R4021 and alert you about a new Mew. Are you able to get Mew Matcha to join our fight?"

"Since she calms down, I can try." as I approached Mew Matcha, she looked at the ground deep in her thoughts. "Mew Matcha, are you alright?" I asked her as she looked at me.

"R-R-Rekia?" Sora questioned me, and a gust of wind surrounding her returned her to normal. "Y-y-your M-m-ew R-Rose T-tea?"

"Yes, I am, and I realize you, mew Matcha; I did see your Mew mark earlier." I smiled and ruled the back of my neck. "We could make a great team and take back what's yours."

"I-I would l-like t-t-that." she puts out her hand as I did mind earlier today. And Sora's smile was brighter than ever.

A few hours passed, and after I asked Sora to join me as a team, we ended up at Cafe Boba. Sake hands her a maid uniform too. I assume the theme of the Cafe is maid. Anyways, Professor Bertzel agreed with us about the firey fox girl, who could be the next mew; Mew chai would be her name; she has the powers of fire and the DNA of a Fennic fox. So Sora and I will be on lookout duty.
