A scene opens up with Atomsk and TME talking about new ideas.
"OK, so because of what happened last time, may have to switch things with Finn getting Bubblegum now instead of Emerald, and Marceline potentially going to Emerald instead of Finn… man we are going to get flamed for that no doubt so get ready with shields of ice." TME said when he comically conjured shields of ice and snow.
Atomsk rubbed the back of his head.
"Yup. Even I was not expecting that outcome." He said before making a suit of armor out of ice and snow.
"Yup… hopefully things get fixed but some ideas I have plot wise may delay that kind of fix…. Especially since Finn and the others would have to work their way to the prison so Finn would have to take over a few bases before even thinking of going for Emerald and the others there." TME said while he rubs his chin with a free hand when he had the shields float around him.
"True that, he has his army, the demons from the Nightosphere and let's not forget, his Army of big ice gargoyles that look similar to a certain flame creature." Atomsk sakd.
"Yeah though the demons maybe iffy given what happened last time… boy that would be a meeting to look on… we can do that though since we would have to at least go a day after Marceline's departure to let people cool down." TME said while he figured this would be good drama before an attack on a base.
"Yeah, probably right. Especially for Finn. Knowing he's taking it much harder since his mentality hasn't fully matured yet." Atomsk said.
"No kidding… Huntress or Dusk if we used her name, Marceline, potentially Bubblegum after the war, honestly Finn is losing women left and right so unless something happens soon, going to be hard to bounce back… either way we should get into the story since I'm sure people watched us ramble on long enough." TME said while he looks at Atomsk seriously.
"Yeah… maybe Finn should add a new lady besides Bubblegum to the list later. Anyway… it's story time." Atomsk said.
"Indeed… maybe we should add demonic women since we have demons to introduce hehe." TME said as the scene shifts to…
Ooo/ ?/ ?
"... and I say why should we fight for these mortals now that our princess is on the Dark Army's side, she may not fight for them but we shouldn't waste our time with a losing side now that the Princess is more or less with them and well guarded." A demonic general in a large meeting of Royals said while he had a rough look on his face… he looked like a mix of a shogun with a Dark knight theme with his armor and had a large beard while many Princesses of Ooo who didn't have their kingdoms taken over and some who did but had some authority were here and heard everything about what happened with Marceline and thanks to some time passing for the meeting… well… some Flame people like Phoebe were there but one of her advisors spoke in her place.
"And that plan with our people and those experiments of hers… that Candy bitch is overstepping her boundries, even if that plan wasn't enacted, why should we stay on this side and not join the Dark Army… honestly people call us evil in the past but at least we were honest with our intentions!" the Advisor said as Finn sat next to Bubblegum while she flinched.
"Enough, its true that what PB did was horrible but thanks to a deal made, unless she wants to lose pretty much everyone here, she will work to gain everyone's trust, you heard me, she is willing to step down from the throne after the war is over after birthing an heir… or do you think I would let PB corrupt a child if she has one between her and I?... I mean no disrespect Phoebe but please get your advisor to cool down otherwise I may do something I regret since I explained it already… even you cooled down when you heard this… and again… she DIDN'T use that plan… sure I took the crown which stopped that plan but remember were dealing with the Dark Army who invaded us, crown of Ice or not… so Advisor… please get your head out of your ass before I do something you really won't like… I lost Marceline… Huntress… and now your making me risk either Phoebe and PB… you really are pushing your luck since before I got here… since when has this rebel army been doing well.." Finn said as frost starts to form in the air around him when his anger slowly rose.
Everyone did shudder at the chill.
Bubblegum did try to speak.
"If I may, I know I don't have a right to speak and I will I admit that my actions… are questionable. Despite what plans may or may not happen, I apologize for how said actions led me somewhat astray and I now feel shame for myself. Regardless… I can't undo things but we are still in war. But I promise when it's over… I will step down as leader." She said.
"Than tell me Bubblegum… whats stopping you from just waiting and making a new kingdom?... we may have a common enemy now but whats stopping you from doing something like the Dark Army years from now… unlike us were not immortal like you and unless something is done to help Finn, whats stopping him from going mad in the future like the previous Ice King?... and don't say a Royal promise since YOUR Gumball guardians deal with situations like that, or are you willing to be judged by the fire giants as fire kingdom brand Royal promise keepers?... because I highly doubt a royal promise from you wouldn't amount to much with use with the damaged trust we all have." Phoebe said in a calm but serious way since she did lose Marceline thanks to Bubblegum's actions… she had her head on her hand when she rests in the chair she was in.
Bubblegum sighs.
"Phoebe I'm sorry about this. But that plan wasn't meant to be leaked out even when I didn't plan to this. But obviously my words won't mean much so… tell me what you want me to do… and I'll do just that. No questions asked."
Phoebe was silent from that as she was quiet, though before she could speak the Demonic general growls.
"Enough of this farce, what does it matter if two weak kingdoms who can't even defend themselves fall, mortal lives are short lived, lets get back to the matter of whats keeping us working with you beings if the princess of the Nightosphere is not around, were under no obligation to follow any of you now that she is gone so unless a deal is made we may as well work for anyone willing to make a good deal with us, even the Dark Army if need be." The General said with a deep serious tone to his voice while the fire kingdom advisor looked angered.
There were tension here before Bubblegum tries to fix this.
"Wait… perhaps I can do something." Bubblegum said before blushing a bit as she said this…
"Help us and… I'll let you all use my body as a… toy."
This shocked many though the demonic generald looks amused.
"Hmph… while tempting you realize that for the army you want with all of us demons is massive, even if you used to the be Nightosphere Princess's favorite, that would mean satisfying over thousands of demonic beings of various sizes, temperaments, and what not… how long do you think that would take and you think every demon would be patient enough to wait for you?... you'll have to try better than that if you want our army to not defect to the Dark army or do random things." The generald said as a demonic woman with a gourd drank from it and lowered it with an amused look.
"I don't know Grigori, if the princess was able to enjoy this bitch here, something tells me she is a durable one… maybe we should sweeten the deal there so the wait will be worth it?... name is Sake the Oni by the way, doubt anyone in the Demonic army is as tough as me besides a small few demons here or there like Lord Hunson." the demonic woman said… she was tall, shapely, but smelled so badly of alcohol flame people worried that if they got close that they would explode or something.
Finn groans.
"Sorry but… what's that stench?" He said.
"Hmmm?... oh sorry about her, Sake is an Oni, a forign type of demon who adores alcohol to levels that would make even lord Abadeer pass out on… but her strength is unmatched so not many give her issues, you get used to the smell, anyway Sake what do you have in mind?" Grigori said as Sake grins.
"Well if Bubblebutt here and other weak mortals want our help, why not have a general assigned to each princess in power and they birth a kid for us, I heard Lord Death used to do this with the Jungle kingdom and if not for the Dark lords army, he would have knocked up the current princess so boy that day when he vented during drinks was one to see hehe… we can even have our units have their way with women of their choice as well so it splits us up a bit sure, but would make it worth our while for fighting these mortals battles, what do you think Gri-Gri?... easy deal right?" Sake said while she grins at her sober ally with a drunken grin.
Grigori sweatdrops a bit.
"Despite her attitude… she has a point. If you truly want this Bubblegum." He said before summoning a contract.
"Sign here." He said.
"Wait, if she signs that, it would mean you demons can go to other royals!" The Fire advisor said as Grigori looks at him with a deadly gaze.
"And?... you think we would care if your princess or Queen would be married?... unless you have some other way out of this I suggest the weak hired help shut up before this uncontracted demon rips your head from your spine." Grigori said as Finn raised a hand.
"Hold on… sure I may have issues with this and even I can see some princess look determined… but can I make a counter deal to see if that can be prevented if I can at least get Marceline back… you say your allies with Marceline but what if we get her back in a short time… sure it will take time to talk with her but if you give us time can you at least not join the dark Army if we can get Marceline back or at least hear what she has to say about this since deal or not… you guys came here thanks to her so if she wanted she could have you return to the Nightosphere with her order deal or not…" Finn said while he looked Grigori in the eyes while the demonic general hums.
"Hmmm… very well human… since you didn't betray our Princess and I can respect the power you have to some extent… we will wait two weeks… you either find a way to get our princess back or we either make a deal or none at all… we will not wait any longer than that since we demons do not like holding ourselves back in many forms like bloodshed or mating… if you can somehow get to the princess in two weeks and convince her to return… we will hold off on deal making and resume fighting for you mortals… if not… its either deal making with demons having their way with you rebel mortals… or we join the Dark army or become neutral on Ooo." Grigori said while he rolled up the contract and dismissed it for now.
Finn nods his head at this though Bubblegum whispers at Finn.
"Finn… I'm not doubting this but I'm trying to take one for the team. This is a punishment I deserve."
"PB… the deal that guy had would have had demons pretty much having their way with not just you, but your people, and other princesses and their people… sure it may be a last resort but we should at least work on how to get Marceline back first before we do anything drastic…. You heard Simon, if Marceline hears about this she will listen to you on apologize and don't forget she will hear of the demons sooner or later and what they nearly did, they may not even listen to Marcy… remember Hunson?... I had to send him back with a symbol that was used to summon him so unless you know how to return demons to the nightosphere, I doubt they would go back easily." Finn whispered as Grigori raised an eyebrow.
"You know we can hear you mortal… demons have super levels of hearing compared to you all… and while its true we would be hard to get rid of, we generals are loyal to lord Abadeer since we are his arms and legs around the Nightosphere, were the strongest of our respective species so lower ranked oni like Sake wouldn't object to her orders and same with me and my kind unless there are extreme circumstances… don't underestimate us demons when it comes to deals and loyalty… we maybe a… pardon the pun… chaotic bunch but we do have honor with those with strength." Grigori said while he had a serious look on his face.
"Right. My apologies on that General… or is it Lord Grigori?" Finn said.
Grigori looks amused by this.
"Well while not insulting Lord Abadeer, we are technically demon lord ranked beings, so General is a term we use during war times… anyway if you can get Milady Marceline back here, we will continue to fight for your people, if not you'll have to pay a price to keep us on your side." Grigori said as Finn rubs his chin.
"What if a plan I have to at least get to Marceline involves your guys helping taking down a few bases to get to Marceline?... think you guys can at least help with that General?... I won't ask for more than just help with making sure we get to Marceline." Finn said as Grigori looks amused.
"Depends mortal, it would cost you to use our services for taking over some of the Dark lords bases." Grigori said as Sake grins.
"Oh how about me Gri-Gri?... why not the human and I make a deal and as long as he gives me a good time, I'll knock the Oni clan around to get them to listen to help take over some bases, more or less a demon of what you have planned… can even have people in the Ice Kingdom have fun with my men and women more or less and they can enjoy the perks of being with Oni like top class drinks hehe." Sake said as Grigori looks amused.
"Well there you have it human, if you want our aid or Sake's at least, there you have it… a test run of the deal with you and your kingdom so to speak, granted if you want to make some leeway you'll have to speak with Sake but honestly I would take the deal human since among all demonic clans, aside Lord Abadeer and his daughter, Sake and her clan are among the strongest demons physically." Grigori said while he crossed his arms.
Finn was thoughtful for a bit.
"Alright. I'll make a deal with you, Lady Sake."
"HAHA!... nice… once this meeting is over I'll have a messanger send word to the Oni clan and we can have some intense sex while that happens." Sake said with a grin on her face before drinking more alcohol while the Fire Advisor grumbles.
"Well thats good for you but what about us?, why should we stick with the Candy Kingdom aside you and the Flame Queen having a relationship?... you can say alot but while its true you helped us with defending the Candy kingdom, I would like to remind you that many saw it your top warrior who was able to turn that battle around, not you, your highness… so tell me why would we Flame people risk our lives for someone who actually dared to plan to harm us?... you can say as much as you want with the Flame Queen and stuff, but what about us normal Flame people?... and before you say anything we are able to defend ourselves well now that we had time to bring up defenses so the Dark Lord's army won't be able to invade us like they nearly did when that powerful warrior came to our aid, Xan Grandblade if I remember correctly, we were off guard at the time but no longer." The Advisor said while he gave Finn a serious look.
Finn was not phased by that look… even though he didn't have Emerald in his ranks right now…
Bubblegum tries to intervene.
"As I said before, you can use my body as a toy or… you let your Queen decide how she wants my services to be used."
Phoebe raised an eyebrow at this while the Fire advisor was about to speak but Phoebe raising a hand stopped him.
"Are you serious about that?... no matter what I decide you'll do it?" Phoebe said while she had a raised eyebrow.
"Yes. I want to prove to you all that I'm truthful when I said I would step down and I want to make things with you and your people." Bubblegum said.
"I see… fine… I'll make two deals with you… if you can agree to them I'll forget what you had planned and this should make it so that my people are no longer angered by you… first… aside from stepping down you will NOT make another kingdom again… granted that may change in a few generations when I'm gone since I'm not a Glob and can't tell the future… but I don't want to side hide nor hair of info on you making a new kingdom… off world I can accept… on Ooo… you can forget that… if I hear anything like that my people will be coming to you for answers and your body… doesn't matter if Finn objects… you had plans that dealt with my peoples lives so they have a right to this as much as I." Phoebe said when she went over the first part with a look that dared Bubblegum and even Finn to object to.
Said duo was quiet for a bit.
"Well… I don't think I wish to make another kingdom but… I'll accept the first deal." Bubblegum said.
"Good… my second deal is simple… I'll do what Sake did and have you and I make a deal on us having a child… YOU birth it though and once you step down the child is in charge of your kingdom… that should ease people more since it would mean a Fire Kingdom Royal and a Candy Royal hybrid is in charge more or less and ease both parties." Phoebe said while she gave Bubblegum a look that showed she was serious on that.
Bubblegum was greatly by this.
"Okay… not objecting or anything but… Finn and I did make a similar arrangement on that unless he gives an okay."
"Then I guess if Finn really has objections I can't say much… but that would mean issues down the line since I doubt my people would care given the propaganda against you… I'm not thinking of personal interest… I'm thinking of what would ease my people more since plan used or not… you did cause my people unrest… and more…" Phoebe said while she had narrowed eyes since she was still steamed because of Marceline running to the dark side more or less.
Bubblegum flinches a bit from this as Finn was silent for a bit.
"Actually… considering it was Phoebe's Kingdom… I have no objections if they make a kid. Bottom line… the Candy Kingdom will have a new strong ruler. I can wait my turn."
"Good… is that satisfactory Advisor?" Phoebe said while she glanced at her Advisor with a look that showed her anger right now even if it was held back for this meetings sake.
The Advisor gulped.
"Y-Yes my Queen. This can work." He said.
"Good… any other matters in this meeting we need to go over or are we good now?... the demons are pacified for now, we have a plan of action to keep them from going rogue, and now that this is done with, the Fire and Candy Kingdom will have an heir in charge of Bubblegum's throne once this war is over." Phoebe said while she had a much calmer look on her face now.
Everyone was quiet for a bit and looks like they have nothing to say.
"Guess meeting adjourned." Finn said.
After this Phoebe was walking from the meeting room with her advisor as Bubblegum rushed a bit to talk with her while Finn gave some chase just in case things went south.
"Phoebe wait… I am still sorry for… everything. I know it's too late and I have no chance of forgiveness but I'm really sorry for betraying your trust and causing Marceline to leave." Bubblegum said.
The Advisor was about to speak but Phoebe silence him as she steps forward.
"Bubblegum… I'll be frank with you… right now trying to ask me for forgiveness is not a good thing right now… you risked even planning that attack on my kingdom and you caused Marceline, who I was dating at the time to leave and potentially aid the Dark army… tell me… is telling me all of this really going to get my forgiveness or are you just looking for some kind of end to this drama so we can focus on the real enemy?... I am already… I know the Dark Army is not to be ignored… they came to Ooo, invaded many, and doesn't matter what kind of reasoning they had, they did what they did and harmed my people, and other peoples people… so no my kingdom will not abandon yours if you're thinking the worst but know when we have a child…. You can expect me to NOT be gentle at all… I'll meet you tomorrow to see if you can help with my stress at least and see if you can even take me when I get serious… one thing I liked about Marceline… she was able to take me at full power… what about you?... and Finn… with all due respect since I can understand your pain in losing loved ones since you lost Huntress and Marceline… but please keep quiet, this matter here is mainly between Bubblegum and I… besides… you should look behind you since Sake is approaching you." Phoebe said when she points behind Finn when he starts to raise a hand to try and speak.
Finn did look back and sees the demonic woman coming.
"Hey there you are, wonder where you went human, come on we have a deal to complete before I send a messenger to the Oni clan." Sake said while she grabbed Finn on the back of his shirt and dragged Finn away while Finn flailed his arms a bit in a comical manner.
"H-Hey?!" Finn said making Bubblegum blinks a bit before looking at Phoebe.
"Phoebe… you have to believe none of this was my intention now. I know that I planned it and if I went with it… bottom line… I can't run from this. This will haunt me for a while… even after the war ends as I just not only lost my friend's trust but also losing Marceline as well."
Phoebe was quiet as she listened before she turned away.
"Maybe, doesn't change the fact you did plan that… just answer me this… if my father was in charge, I couldn't blame you for planning that… but with me on the throne after everything you saw when I was trying to make my kingdom better… did that not amount to much at all to you?... because its a what if that scared me since it meant that you would probably have betrayed me in a number of ways if you did go through with that plan… its true you didn't use it… but the fact you even didn't trust me to keep my kingdom in line… that one actually hurt most of all." Phoebe said while she looks back at Bubblegum with a hurt look before she looks at her Advisor.
"Come, we need to send word about this so no one tries anything stupid to Bubblegum… oh and get the BDSM gear I have ready… if Bubblegum thinks far in advance… she will make sure she is fireproof so when I come for her… she will be ready to be treated like a breeding bitch." Phoebe said as she walked from the Advisor and Bubblegum as the Advisor smirks.
"You got off lucky." The advisor said before leaving Bubblegum.
After that, the Candy Monarch… for now… got on her knees and starts crying.
"I-I'm so sorry everyone. Finn… Phoebe… Marceline… I failed you all."
As this happened with Bubblegum crying more, the scene went to the Prison of Tai Pings for now to show Marceline as she woke from her slumber… after she left the Candy Kingdom… she flew back and was surprisingly welcomed warmly to the prison by Emerald and a few soldiers while he did most of the talking so they wouldn't do anything stupid… nuff said she had her own room here at the prison without any windows since she didn't like the sun and stuff… honestly she had a rough day yesterday so when Emerald knocked and entered… he saw a greatly disheveled Marceline while she yawns as Emerald carried a trey of food to her.
"Sleep well last night?" Emerald asked while he moved to bring the trey to Marceline and she saw plenty of nice looking eats… even french fries with ketchup much to her surprise as she straightened her hair.
"Tried to… after what happened with… her." Marceline said.
"I see… well if you want to talk or just vent, I'm free if you want to talk, here, the cooks made this for you when I requested it, heard from Tai Ping you liked these foods so figured making sure you have a nice time here should help you in relaxing." Emerald said while he had a calm look on his face.
"Well thanks. But remember… I despised Bubblegum for what she planned to do… I still don't plan to go against Finn or Phoebe." Marceline said.
"And no one can blame you for that conflicting thing, spies in the Candy Kingdom told of a meeting that happened recently, seems that the forces of the rebel army may try and attack here within two weeks to try and get you back, how they will will be hard to say but at the very least we have a timeframe to get ready in case they try and attack us for you and others here… seems those demons you summoned are giving them issues and in order to keep the Fire Kingdom from attacking the Candy Kingdom, seems Phoebe will be knocking up Bubblegum and their kid will take over the Candy Kingdom once the child is of age… probably after this war if they win… personally I could care less on which side wins." Emerald said as he watched Marceline munch on some fries as Emerald talked.
Marceline however stopped.
"W-Wait what?!" She said with a shocked look.
"Yup, thats what the spies said… apparently unless they get you back in two weeks, the demons you summoned will pretty much either join the Dark Army, be neutral, or if they make a deal, join the rebels with each general knocking a Princess up… the kicker was Bubblegum offered herself to all the demons to try and keep them in line but considering how many demons there are, you can see how that suggestion failed." Emerald said while he crossed his arms as he patiently waits for Marceline to finish her meal.
Marceline was again shocked.
"Is she fucking serious?!" She said.
"Why react like that?, figured you would care less on what she does, honestly given all that happened she is just trying to salvage what she can before she has to step down from her role as Candy Princess." Emerald said while he sat in a nearby chair.
Marceline regained her composure.
"O-Of course I don't care. Figures she would try something to stay in control."
"Maybe during the duration of the war but win or lose she will lose her position so pretty sure its less that and more on trying to get forgiveness, still we should get ready for today since your tour of the place should start so you don't get lost,.. I did mean what I said to that clone of yours… while you're here I may as well be at your beck and call to help you relax and stuff so your time here is not giving you issues." Emerald said while he small smirk when Marceline blushed a bit.
"Y-Yeah I know." Marceline said as she slowly ate her meal.
As Emerald waits, he watched Marceline while he wondered what she was thinking right now when Marceline glanced at Emerald a couple times.
'He's so… different. I know he's still the same Emerald that fought for Finn but… those memory problems. I know Finn will try to take me back but… I'm not sure if he wants Emerald back.'
As this happened with Marceline finishing her meal and following Emerald, the duo went through the base as Emerald walked next to Marceline.
"Doubt I need to explain much about this place since what you heard is what you more or less get with this place, but any questions you want answered?" Emerald asked while he looks at Marceline, she wore a simple outfit compared to her usual one with a long sleeved shirt, some jeans and a sun hat when they passed by some sunny areas with Marceline wearing some steel toe boots.
"Yeah. Do they still kept the prisoners here before the Dark Lord took over? Or they free and only some rebel soldiers are out here?" Marceline said.
"Well that is a good question, I have a simple answer, its a so so type thing… some prisoners got let out an freed, some not, but only after really doing investigations in the past with Tai Ping's approval, about 1/3rd of the prisoners were actually here for legal reasons like legit criminals, the rest stayed as workers for Tai and the soldiers you see are mainly against Bubblegum for what she did to them, the armor just makes them look similar looking but they are more or less pissed off citizens trained to not be pushed around by her, main reason they stick with Tai as well since she trains them hard and treats them with respect, so this place does have prisoners… but for the right reasons, and prisoners of war who try and either defect or run though if they win in a battle contest, Tai here works to free them from the cells in a legit way, after all if they are willing to fight for their life, they have a right to live, if not they stay in the cells for being deserters and cowards." Emerald said as he explained things to Marceline.
Marceline blinks a bit after hearing that.
"I see…" she said.
"Yup… anything else to ask?" Emerald asked while he leads her further into the base.
Marceline was quiet for a bit.
"No." She said.
"I see… so want to do anything?... you're a guest here and unless you want to train in a fight to pass time, unless you want fun in a bedroom, not much to do here aside watching prisoners fight or watching TV and listen to music." Emerald said while he looks at Marceline as he led her through a few more areas.
Marceline blushes at the fun part mentioned.
"Maybe I'll practice some music for now." She said.
"Very well, if you want I can bring some soldiers here so you have a crowd to play for or do you want to be alone?" Emerald asked while he gave Marceline a curious look.
Marceline sighs a bit.
"Well… May as well give them a show."
"Well nice, one of the prisoners should enjoy that since he was a fan of a band called…. Was it lips?... Pennyfront?... well either way guy had an old collection of songs that he had found that had something called a CD collection from those bands." Emerald said making Marceline's ears perk up when she heard that.
"Really?… May as well get a look at that then." Marceline said.
Emerald nods at this and he saw Marceline actually smile a bit when she followed Emerald.
"Hmmm… she looks better with a smile on her face." Emerald thought while a giddy Marceline on her end…
'Well… guess it won't be that bad as stay in this place… though would be awkward if I saw Canyon and Huntress here.' Marceline thought.
Comically enough Canyon and Dusk were actually walking by a corner and when they turn around it they came face to face with Marceline while they look a bit surprised, but not shocked.
"Oh… hello Marceline, heard you were here." Canyon said while she was surprised by seeing Marceline before her.
Marceline was quiet.
"Yeah well… already knew you two were here. Considering what I heard about something and I thought I knew that person… I had to get away."
"You mean Bubblegum?... yeah we heard, sorry for the loss of trust… honestly would have had issues long ago with her… so… what are you doing right now?... you seem a bit peppy." Dusk said as Emerald answers.
"Were heading to a Prisoner who had some CD's of songs from famous band members of the past, got Marceline worked up to hear them." Emerald said when he could read Marceline like a book right now.
Marceline blushes a bit.
"Well… trying to make the best things while I stay here. If you two are wondering, I'm not betraying Finn and Phoebe."
"Why here again than?" Dusk wondered as Emerald backed up Marceline.
"Because this place may as well be neutral territory since it would be hard for anyone not on our side to get here, I offered to let Marceline stay here without issues and already talked with Tai about it, she doesn't mind as long as Marceline doesn't cause trouble here." Finn raised an eyebrow.
"Me-Mow… joke aside from the truth… could explain how taking this base looked… easy. Thing is even if we start looking, they may have left or are good at hiding."
"So you mean they just left the base for us for some reason while making it look like it was guarded?" One of Me-Mow's assassins said while the assassin raised an eyebrow at Finn's logic.
"Maybe… the Dark Army did have prisoners here, maybe there was a deal that as long as they kept this place guarded, can do whatever they wanted here, would explain the lack of a commander unless one of you or Me-Mow took the commander of this place down." Finn said while looking at Me-Mow and the assassin she had under her to see what they had to say.
Me-Mow looks at her unit.
"If one of you saw and killed the lead commander here, better speak up now."
The assassins nearby look at one another and shook their heads no.
''Unfortunately Milady, I don't think any of us did… if we did they were all wearing the same armor so we couldn't tell them apart unless the armor had some gimmick to use like in times of crisis." One assassin said to Me-Mow.
Me-Mow made a tsk noise.
"Well I didn't see one so I guess this Dark jerk didn't bother putting one here."
"Either that… or Emerald planned this…" Minerva said while she looks worried.
"W-What makes you say that?" Bubblegum said.
"Considering the fact that Emerald is like a brother to the Dark Lord, some of the guards may follow his orders give or take." Finn said.
"Yeah, add the fact that our scouts when Marceline left the Kingdom saw her head in the direction of the Prison… chances are Emerald may have planned this to see what we would do, we have to get by another base before we get to the prison so maybe… this was a decoy and we were spied on by the other base possibly if it was kitted out in various recon gear and maybe the real wall for us." Minerva said as she looks at Sake.
"Did any of your men see anything odd high in the skies like a balloon or something while we were breaking into the base?" Minerva asked the Oni clan leader.
"Actually, one of the men near me did catch a special spy drone but before they could apprehend it, it blew up." One of the Oni nearby said.
"What!?... fuck… seems like we were played somewhat… well if they want to have a real fight my clan and I are ready when things are right… still they maybe ready for a full frontal assault so we may have to be a distraction while you Finn, Me-Mow, and your assassins take out the base from the inside out or cause some kind of opening in the next one." Sake said when she had a serious look now that she knew this would be a high tier fight most likely.
Finn smirks.
"If that's the case, I can finally use some of my special creations. They have been itching for a fight."
"Good… in that case… people… lets really get ready for a battle like we never had before." Minerva said as the scene fades to black dramatically with an instant fade.
