Deep breaths…In and out. Calm mind.
"Damn…I almost panicked." Ellis sighs heavily. "You almost got me there, Johnny. Not going to lie." He chuckled at the phone, taking the warning as a prank for the newbie.
A glitch that made the robots unintentionally kill people? If that's true, why hasn't Mr. Fazbear done something about it? Or even advise him of it? This is a family business; that would be bad for him…
Unless the guy was part of it, which makes one Hell of a welcoming experience.
Ellis shook his head, trying to ignore that and focus on making a good impression. He opens the tablet and checks the rooms, nothing wrong, animatronics in place, nothing wrong in Pirate Cove nor anything wrong in the prize room. "Hmm, nothing much to see here." He places the tablet down and looks at his office, thinking of a few things. "I wonder if Mr. Fazbear won't mind if I make some arrangements to the office-Huh?" He was thinking out loud when he noticed a note sticking to the window. "What…That wasn't there before, right?" He asked before going to it and took it. He read it.
"Hey new guy! I know that right now you feel like lazing around in your office, but could I ask you to give a proper round before you do anything else? Please and thank you!"
"Wow." Ellis could feel his eyes rolling. "Real smooth for the new guy, eh Johnny? Telling me first to look around when the bloody cameras are there for a reason." He sighs before shrugging. "Well, I guess it is just to make sure I'm taking this seriously, I guess." Besides, waiting for six hours while playing Flappy Bird isn't that appealing.
Adjusting his hat, and grabbing a flashlight, Ellis left through the left hall to do the job… never noticing the white dots looking at him from the right hall window.
(Flashback)
"First and foremost, here we have the dining hall, or as I like to call it; the Main Stage." Mr. Fazbear explained as he showed the hall of food of the pizzeria to Ellis and the kids playing around while the animatronics had finished their show. "As you can see and already guess, the food and main stage are here for the parents and children to eat and enjoy the show."
('Yeah. That's obvious consider that the fucking place could hold up an entire supermarket!') Ellis though.
"To be completely fair, this place has been in a pickle." Mr. Fazbear began to confess, "Twelve years ago, there was an incident involving the animatronics. The place's reputation jumped down. I almost gave up when I couldn't even find a proper solution. But then, I was blessed with a chance." The old man perks up. "I suddenly received a call from an old friend, and he offered to fix the place. The animatronics were upgraded, and the rooms were remodeled. We didn't have rooms for parties, and the building became more spacious."
"I see." Ellis said as he noticed where most of the kids were heading, only to blink at seeing the bear animatronic walking around. "Wait…they can roam willingly?"
"But of course! All of them are waitresses and singers. Makes the business more alive as they are active!" He said as he began to move.
(End of Flashback)
Ellis reached the main dining hall and noticed that everything in the room was fine. All the girls were on stage, standing still while their heads were down, almost like sleeping. The tables and chairs were also clean. ('Seems that everything is alright.') He thought as he walked past the girls, focusing his flashlight on the bear, "...Heh. I must say, you are one fine piece of art. The metal of your skin has been refined and polished, and your voices while singing were divine. I can tell that whoever made you all, wanted you all to be in perfect condition. I'm sure they are proud of how much joy you are bringing to this place." He said before walking away. "Alright, next place."
Ellis left to the Prize Room next, never noticing a twitch from the animatronic as she raised her head, her eyes open to reveal her blue eyes. She slowly turned to look at the back of Ellis, a mischievous smile forming while the other two began to follow her view…as their figures morph?
…
..
.
Ellis shines through the Prize room, showing multiple games to play around. He hummed as he looked at the many games on display. "God, if it was me when I was five, I would scream in joy at all this-Is that Fix-it Felix Jr?!" He was in front of the old arcade game with said character on the side. "Dude! This thing is extinct! Holy shit, how did the Boss get this?" He looks to the side and gasps, "Dino Rush?! Burger Joint?! Mk1?! How?!"
I think he might have wet himself.
"That's it. I'm getting a piggy bank for this shit." Ellis had a determined expression. "Better leave before I feel like an animal in heat…ew." He quickly exits the room.
Just as a pair of purple rabbit ears pop out behind one of the arcades. "Oh my. Mister Night Guard likes games too?" It said in a feminine goth-like voice, giggling. "That's nice to hear. Hope he doesn't mind playing with ME."
(Flashback)
"And here we have where the magic is made." Mr. Fazbear said as he and Ellis entered the kitchen, where the young man stared in amazement at the multiple cooks making pizza in seconds. "While our menu is big, our pizza's without a doubt the best of it." the old man said as he grabbed a slice of pepperoni pizza and offered it to Ellis.
"Oh, thanks." He gracefully accepted and took a bite. His eyes widened as a flavor explosion happened in his mouth. "Dear God…This is the best pizza I have eaten in my life." He confessed as his eyes glowed like stars as he ate more.
"That is to be expected." Mr. Fazbear 'harrump'. "Our ingredients come freshly made from the best companies around. And we do have excellent chefs putting their hard work in every dish."
"Well, my hat is off to them." Ellis mumbled while chewing the last remains of the pizza and gulped it down. "With a cook like that, I don't care of its gender, I'll marry them to have all this pizza for dinner."
"Hahaha! Fine words indeed! I'll be sure to inform her that you enjoy her pizza and want to propose!" At that, they both laugh greatly while leaving the kitchen, ignoring the confused look from the cooks.
(End of Flashback)
The kitchen looks so lonely without the entire crew to make a delicious meal. Everything seemed to turn off and nothing was burning. "Heh, imagine; first shift and I die at a leftover oven that causes a fire. Not sure where the fire comes from but that would suck." Ellis chuckled as he went around the place, keeping an eye that nothing was wrong before heading to the fridge, just as his stomach made a small gurgle. "Wonder if there's anything for a snack?"
He opened the fridge to look inside, not noticing the pair of purple eyes looking next to him "Huh…there's a pizza with pepperoni wrap up. Is this for me?" He moves back while holding the wrapped pizza, before blinking in confusion as he looks to the side, seeing nothing. "Strange…could have sworn-nah! Must be hungry." He said as he walked to the microwave, pulled out the pizza, and placed it on a plate before putting it inside to heat it for one minute. "Let's see if there's Cola, it always goes perfect with Pizza." He went to search for a drink, never seeing the figure with purple eyes keeping an eye on the pizza with a happy motion. "Sweet! There's Cola! Nice!" Ellis blocked the view for a second and turned around, the figure nowhere in sight.
Once the pizza was done, Ellis enjoyed a cheesy treat with a crispy bubble drink. "Mmmm! That pizza was delicious! Whoever made it was born to be a master in dough art…" He looked at his phone, seeing that it was 1 AM. "Wow! Already one hour? Better go and finish the round and go back to the office." He quickly picked up the trash and threw it into the bin before exiting the kitchen, just as a yellow figure peek out the table.
"Hehehehe! Boss was right! He really likes my pizza!" It said in a happy-go-lucky tone, giggling like a party maker. "I bet he would love my special pizza from my special oven!"
(Flashback)
"...and always make sure that the girls are in proper condition. Any need to repair is found in the Part Service room. Questions before moving?" Mr. Fazbear asked Ellis as they came out from the room to repair and adjust the animatronics.
"Nope. I know a bit of mechanical stuff, so I can guess the tools." Ellis said.
"Ah, excellent! Now, let's move to another important room, Pirate Cove!"
Mr. Fazbear brought Ellis to a room with a lot of pirate theme props, and kids playing around in a pirate playground, along with having many kid-size pirate props. "Here we have a room for our sea dwellers lovers and high sea adventures that want to get some gold and receive stories from our captain."
"Avast, land lovers and sea dwellers!"
"Ah! Seems we came in time." Mr. Fazbear told Ellis as the children went to a stage, the curtains rising and showing a prop ship. Suddenly, from the deck, a figure leaped into the air and landed the taking. It was a wine-red colored fox, with yellow eyes and a toothy, a gold hoop earring in her left ear, a black bandana on top of her head, and a black eye patch covering her right eye. Brown trousers that were stuffed into black boots, an orange sash around her thin waist, and a gray vest over a black shirt with a skull and crossbones on the front. Exposed underbelly and red tail. "Who's here fer' booty bound adventure?!" The animatronic asked, making the children cheer.
('Booty bound adventure? How many people have thought of those words the wrong way?') Ellis thought jokingly as he watched the robot tell a tale of pirates.
"Hah…I'm glad this one is getting like." Mr. Fazbear whispered. "To be completely honest, she…hasn't had a good run after the incident. It was so bad that the engineer just didn't want to bother with it." The old man took a picture out of his pocket. "Here is what she looked previously."
Ellis looks at the photo and cringed. "Dear God…she had it bad. That hook wasn't helping her. I feel sorry for her."
"Agreed. Thankfully, I immediately replaced it."
"Smart move."
"Thank you. Now, while I would love to hear her stories, we have a tour to finish." Mr. Fazbear turned around, Ellis following right behind.
All while the good amber eye of the animatronics narrows at them for a second.
(Flashback End)
Entering the Pirate Cove, Ellis could feel the sense of solo adventuring in the room. "Seems that everyone cleans the place up before leaving. Nice to know I don't have to…" he looked at the stage and saw the ship, but no sign of the fox. "Hmm…Do they have her place somewhere else?" He hummed a little before seeing a door on the back of the stage, "Ah, bet is there." He said as he moved away, never noticing a figure right behind him and staring at him with its amber eyes, a hook up and getting close to him.
"Side note, I wonder if they have any inspiration from Pirates of the Carribeans." Ellis commented as he picked a pirate hat and inspected it. "Those movies were pure gold…except the 5th one. Good God what they were thinking?" So focus on the reel of the movie to feel the hook close to his neck before it stops...and retreats. "Alright, enough starring. Just check all the rooms and get back to my pose." He said as he dropped the hat down and began to leave…he looked at the room one more time and saw nothing. He shrugged and left…
Just as a red-fur figure came out from the shadows. "Arr…He doesn't look evil or perverted. But if you reveal yourself like that, I'll make you regret it, punk...after I had my fun with you."
…
..
.
"And done." Ellis sighs at searching carefully the final party room and is now entering his office. "If they are recording my actions, I hope they see I did it well." He flopped in his chair and began to turn the tablet on, seeing that he left the view in Pirate Cove. Alright, say here is 2:15. Just a few more hours, and the first night is done. Next time, let's bring a few books to pass the time-" He pressed to the main stage.
*Crack*
Insert big widened eyes popping out of sockets. "What the fuck?" He massages his eyes quickly and looks again, his face slowly turning blue. "...Where are they?"
As expected, (we all saw this coming), the three animatronics had vanished from their position.
He began to tap the screen, switching camera to camera, but found no trace of them. ('Okay, this is getting concerning! How the heck did they move?! Weren't they shut down-')
"Wait…they can roam willingly?"
"But of course! They both are waitresses and singers. Makes the business more alive as they are moving!"
Ellis could feel the realization hitting him hard. "...They aren't shut off. T-They…were-Oh God." He started to breathe rapidly and his heart pounded like a drum. "Johnny wasn't lying. That wasn't a joke. T-They are really going to kill me." He abruptly stood up from the chair. "I-I need to close the door!" He said as he move to close the door on the left-
*BOING-BOING!*
Only to crash into something rubbery, pushing him back. "Ow! What the hell-"
Ellis felt his soul just freeze as he looked up and was face to face with…a sexy smirk…
"Hello there, Night Guard~"
Ah, shit.
