Naruto and Eddard Stark were entering King's Landing and people were waiting for them. Lord Stark saw how people were slaves to see Prince Naruto. And Naruto reciprocated them. He also noticed that the city looks different, and not the way he remembered it. And people were happier. Although all this could be just a show. He was to sort things out as the King's Hand.
Naruto was glad to be back home. This trip was not planned, but it paid off. And his plan got a little closer to being implemented. A huge plus was that his father decided to go back in the carriage with everyone else, otherwise they would have traveled even longer. Also, his mother, along with Sansa, rode in another carriage, and he hoped that Cersei would try to get closer to his bride. Arya rode with the rest of the Stark retinue, and Joffrey rode with the Lannisters.
They drove up to the palace and one of the servants came out to meet them.
«Welcome Lord Stark, Prince Naruto.» - the servant greeted and bowed to them. – «Grand Maester Pycelle has called the Small Council. Your presence is required.»
«Place the girls in their rooms. We'll probably be there for dinner.» - Naruto ordered his men. Eddard looked at Jorry and nodded to him to help them and make sure everything was in order. Naruto walked over to Sansa, who was sticking her head out of the carriage window, and kissed her passionately. He did this to show that she was untouchable, and to annoy Joffrey. After the kiss, Sansa blushed and was embarrassed. After that, Lord Stark and Naruto went to the Small Council.
Small Council
When they entered the Small Council room, they saw people gathered there: Grand Maester Pycelle, master of coin - Lord Petyr Baelish, master of whisperers - Lord Varys, master of laws - Lord Renly Baratheon. There should have been another master of ships - Lord Stannis Baratheon, but he left King's Landing after the death of Jon Arryn.
«Well, let's start.» - Naruto said, and sat down in the seat normally occupied by a king. Then he saw Lord Stark looking at him. «Father has not been attending Small Council meetings for the past two years. So I'm sitting in his place.»
Lord Stark was mildly surprised that Robert did not attend the Small Council. But he didn't argue.
«We have a couple of urgent cases. The first is that the Targaryen whore married the leader of the Dothraki and became pregnant by him. His army will be a problem.» - Renly said. – «The king is aware of this and ordered us to solve this problem.»
«And how?» - Lord Stark asked.
«Kill her and the baby.» - Renly replied.
«What?!» - Eddard can't believe his ears. He couldn't believe his friend would give such an order. Killing an adult is one thing, but a woman with a child was overkill. He looked at Naruto, so the prince could shed some light on the given order.
«Unfortunately, that is Lord Stark.» - Naruto replied. – «But no one will do that.»
«Are you sure about that nephew?» - Renly asked. Even he did not dare to disobey his brother.
«Yes. Yes, she married the leader of the savages, yes, she became pregnant by him. But he won't swim across the sea just to please her.»
«Why such confidence, Prince Naruto?» - Baelish asked.
«He is Khal and must do what is good for his people. And it is unlikely that any of them will want to overcome the sea for the sake of the desires of some foreigner. But even if the Khal so commands, the Dothraki will most likely raise a rebellion and overthrow him. But if you kill his unborn child, then the Dothraki will want to take revenge. I will explain everything to my father later in person.» - Naruto replied. Eddard was glad that the elder prince was not like his father. - «Let's move on to the second question.»
After that, they moved on to the second question, namely, the tournament in honor of the new Hand of the King. They started arguing about the prize money and went so far as to owe the Iron Bank three million golden dragons, as well as Naruto's grandfather, Tywin Lannister. Naruto went to the window to inhale the fresh air.
«Everyone put your right hand on the table.» - the prince ordered. Only Lord Stark fulfilled his request. Naruto looked questioningly at everyone else, but they were in no hurry to do so. - «Am I not expressing myself clearly?»
«Not.» - answered the rest of the council members and put their hands on the table.
«I don't like people who lie.» - said Naruto and began to walk around the table. No one dared to remove their hand. – «But most of all, I don't like people who steal from those who help them.»
Naruto stopped to the left of Petyr Baelish, abruptly drew his sword and cut off his hand. Petyr screamed in pain and grabbed his hand and tried to stop the blood. Blood spattered part of the table and hit all the council members, who were shocked by what had just happened. The guards ran to the screams.
«Burn his hand and lock him in the tower. Don't let anyone near him. If you break the order, I'll execute you.» - Naruto ordered as he wiped the blood from his sword. After Littlefinger was taken away, Naruto looked at everyone else and put down the papers his servant had brought.
«In these papers you will find all the information.» - Naruto replied to the silent question of those present. – «Littlefinger robbed the treasury and thought no one would notice. But I admit, he did it well. But the truth always comes out.»
"So what about the treasury now?» - Lord Stark asked.
«I will not burden you with explanations, but I will say that the treasury only owes 1,000,000 gold. 500,000 gold to the Iron Bank and 500,000 gold to my grandfather.» - the prince explained. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. – «So we'll hold the tournament the way my father wants.»
After discussing minor issues, they parted ways.
At the same time, Cersei treated Joffrey's wound and tried to convey some sense to him. She loved all her children, but Joffrey was just uncontrollable and cruel. She knew that one day it would destroy him, but still she tried to save him.
The Stark sisters were in a lady's class. While Sansa took them for granted and thought of Naruto and Arya sulked at Naruto, he knew how much she hated them.
The next day.
Naruto went to a small house that he used to hold business meetings without prying eyes. Caitlin Stark was waiting for him there. He was surprised by her arrival. As soon as Naruto entered the room, Caitlin rushed at him and kissed Naruto. The prince returned the kiss, and his hands went down to her plump ass and squeezed it. This brought her to her senses, she broke the kiss and took a couple of steps away from Naruto.
«Forgive me, my Prince.» - she tried to apologize, but the dark part of her wanted to continue. She knew now was not the time or place. – «I have come on a very important matter.»
He listened to the purpose of her visit, and Naruto gave the order to bring her husband.
After Eddard arrived, Lady Stark told what happened after her husband and the king left Winterfell. She let Naruto look at the dagger.
«How interesting.» - Naruto said, looking at the dagger.
«Do you know something, my prince?» - the lady and Lord Stark asked at the same time.
«Yes. This Valyrian steel dagger is one of a kind. And it was won by my uncle Tyrion during Joffrey's name day tournament.» - The Starks looked at him in surprise. Others would have already begun to accuse the Lannisters of the crime. But Eddard decided to listen to Naruto, as he was different from all the Lannisters he knows. Caitlin was in doubt. She wanted to blame the prince's family, but for some reason she could not, and waited for what else he would say. – «But he won it from our mutual friend. Petyr Baelish, who by the way is accused of stealing from the treasury.»
«What?» - Caitlin asked in surprise. She remembered Petyr as sweet and cheerful. – «That can't be.»
«I'm afraid it's true, Caitlin.» - Eddard confirmed. – «We've seen all the evidence.»
«And another interesting fact. A couple of days before leaving for Winterfell, this dagger was stolen from my uncle. He carried it with him. And given the fact that he visited brothels and likes to drink, then anyone could do this on the orders of Baelish.» - Naruto said.
«But why would he do it?» - Caitlin couldn't believe it.
«This is what we have to find out. In the meantime, I suggest you stay for a couple of days. Sansa and Arya will be happy to see you.» - Naruto replied and left the Starks.
Evening
In the evening, Naruto went to his room. Entering it, he approached the passage to the secret room. It is located between Naruto and Cersei's room and was protected by Naruto's seals. In this room, Cersei was waiting for him in an almost transparent robe.
«How was your day, dear?» - the Queen asked her son.
«We'll discuss everything later.» - Naruto said and walked over to Cersei.
