I had made quick time, hopefully I could save Lyanna, thankfully I found Arthur who was looking for not only a midwife but also whispers of what was happening in Westeros and found me. The babe Jon would be born soon, the war almost over.

I approached the sword of the morning, dressed in lowborn garment "A word sir." I said to him, while approaching him "I heard you are looking for a midwife. I am one." Arthur looked upon me and nodded his head "follow me."

I followed him to his horse "Tis true I am in need of a midwife, my charge is heavy with child. I am Sir Arthur Dayne." Of course I already knew this, but I nodded anyway. "We head to the tower of joy to my charge Lady Lyanna Targaryen. Tell me any news about Westeros."

We mounted his horse to head towards the tower, "well sir, word is the mad king has fallen, as well as prince Rhaegar. Is Lady Lyanna Targaryen any relation to Eddard Stark of Winterfell?." Asking already knowing the answer Arthur gripped the stirrups and urged the horse forward. "She's his sister." He spoke. "I see," I said, "with this news I bring , may I suggest when the young lord comes for his sister, you talk or yield to the man, word is he only wants his sister back."

No other words were spoken as we reached the tower, the other kings guards already trying to pull out their swords, until Arthur apoke. "Put them away, she is here to assist the Lady." He said as he dismounted the horse helping me off as well, he then grabbed my arm and pulled me to the tower. "Do not tell the lady about the Prince, I will discuss with my fellow kingsguard about her brother, I wish not for my bloodshed."

I nodded and opened the door to a heavily pregnant Lady Lyanna. "How many moons?" I asked "about 8 or 9 moons" Arthur informed me as he let go of my arm and tried to leave the room. "Wait, do you know of any plants that help with blood and fever sir?" I ask as I turn to look at my new charge laying on the bed heavily pregnant. "Yes I shall personally obtain them; they are not far from here." He said before he left. After what seemed like eternity I uttered "My name's Vanessa, I guess I'm your midwife." To Lyanna Targaryen.

"Lyanna" she never gave me her last name, her eyes grew large "i think my water broke." I quickly maneuvered myself in-between her legs to notice blood, and feet, no wonder she had died on the birthing bed. "My lady the babe is coming feet first, we must work fast to save you both." I pull a dagger. "Do what you must to save the baby." Lyanna cries "if i don't make it the name for a girl according to Rhaegar is Visenya, and Ameon if its a boy i however would like Larra for a girl after my mother and torrhen for a boy after the last known stark king."

"Maybe a combination m'lady but I promise you will make it. I need to make a cut to remove the babe." I make quick work to get the babe out and stop the bleeding, hoping Arthur comes back in time with those herbs. Just as she screamed.

Tower of joy

Arthur Dayne

I did not bother to get the midwife's name, I left her with Lady Lyanna, I went back out to my fellow kings guards to tell them the whispers she had told me. Sir Gerold Hightower was sharpening his sword, while Sir Oswell Whent tended to my horse.

"The midwife gave me grave news from Westeros" I had already known of the news, having been shown visions through my sword Dawn of a horrible future that i might prevent. "The mad king and prince are dead. Eddard Stark is on his way for his sister, Dawn has shown me a vision of what could happen, we all die, we promised our Prince. We need to put down our swords when he shows. I am going to find herbs for the midwife. I shall return." With that I went out to find the herbs to help Lyanna when I heard hoofs and a scream. I quickly rounded up what I needed and headed back to my sworn brothers.

Eddard Stark

We approached the rundown tower just as a scream was heard. We saw only 2 king's guards with their hands on their pomels "We come for my sister Rheagar and the mad king have fallen, yield now and let me to my sister." I say hoping for a different outcome, i do not see Arthur Dayne this time around hopefully they will put their blades down.

They looked upon each other and took out their swords. "Regardless of what our brother said, we will fight to the death." I nodded as I dismounted pulling the greatsword Ice out, "so it begins" they say "no now it ends i had wished not for more blood shed, so i ask once more yield."

They laughed, I shook my head, gripped the pommel of the sword and lead the charge towards sir Hightower, and sir Whent, my party if 6 broke into teams of 3 to tackle them Howland Reed, and Martyn Castle with me going for sir Hightower. while William Dustin, Ethan Glover, and Theo Wull after sir Whent. All you could hear were the sounds of swords clashing, "EDDARD!" I heard loud and clear as It quickly became me and Hightower I slashed him and he fell jot far away lay sir went and the other three with little time to look for Arthur i ran to the tower, to my sister.

"Stop!" I paused upon the steps to see Arthur holding herbs. "I wish not for a fight sir, these are needed, I will tend to these men while you tend to your sister." With that i grabbed the plants he had brought and rushed into the tower, i quickly came across the door and barged in.

I saw my sister and the strange, vaguely familiar woman. I rushed to the bed that was covered in blood to my sister, but not before the woman grabbed the herbs from me and started making quick work of them. "Eddard you're really here" she breathed "the babe was a boy, Rhaegar wanted him named Aemon, I want something more Northern." She looks to the window where I hear a small cry, she nods as I go to pick up the babe and bring him to her. She then grabs me tight "promise me you'll protect him, promise me" i simply nod my head and she lays hers down.

(I was going to leave it there but)

Just as suddenly the woman who i now recognized as Vanessa poured the liquid down my sisters throat, and returned to stiching my sister up "she lost a lot of blood, this should help, i swear she will not doe this time around but just in case get a body to replace hers, she shouldn't be moved and allot needs to happen, i'll send a raven or Arthur when it's time, take the babe, tell him the truth same with your wife Lyanna and Arthur need to disappear for now, take dawn with you." She says looking at the open door to a shocked Howland and Arthur.

I nod, taking the babe, "i shall name him Jon Snow for now l" i say to arthur as he gives me Dawn he says tell my sister 'the sun never sets' when you give her this." I nod and howland leaves with my nephew to travel to Starfell.
