So, now that the disclaimer is out of the way, let us now move on to the 18th chapter. Again, a really big thank you to Althea Sirius, for allowing me, and giving me full permission, to use his Guardians Of Love United fanfic at the end of this fanfic. I would not have been able to complete this fanfic without his approval to use his fanfic at this end of this. Mind you, I had to do a lot of editing on it, to get it to fit at the end of this. But I digress, on with the 18th chapter.
Chapter 18: Saint Crystal! Wedding Engagement Gift...Saint Crystal...Love...For...You! The Something Old!
A couple days had now passed since our last and final fight against Lord Pluie in the devils forest. And yet, from a fight that the four of us had had the other day with 3 devils, all of which were looking for the Saint Something Four. We just knew that a whole new slew of problems, would soon be beginning for us. This was further confirmed one evening, as the four of us were listening to a radio station, that a familiar voice. Well, a familiar voice to me anyways. Since I knew from the way she was speaking that it was in fact Noise. Anyway, she came onto the radio, and mentioned Momoko by name, who I then apparently learned had written a love letter to Yousuke. Largely because Noise had mentioned it on the radio, for all to hear. I could only have imagined how embarrassed she truly was in that moment.
But I digress. Fast forward to our current situation, and Momoko and I were now having a very not great time against Noise, as she had summoned a devil that resembled a giant insect. Man, I never knew that giant insects could look so disgusting. But, after both of us being pinned to the floor by silk that had been produced and fired at us from the abnormally large insect. It really did look like it was curtains for the both of us. That is, until a sound of a bell was heard, and a light emanated from Momoko's ring, transforming into one of the items of the Saint Something Four, the Something Old.
And once this had been done, and the silk that had been pinning us both to the floor had disappeared from the light emanating from Momoko's ring transforming into the Something Old. Both of us then decided to put an end to Noise, and finish the fight before even more of our pride wound up bruised.
This was then followed up by Momoko summoning a crystal item from out of nowhere, which I would learn later on was called the Saint Crystal Rod. "Saint Crystal!" Wedding Peach said. And when Noise launched her next attack, Momoko absorbed Noise's attack into the Saint Crystal Rod. She then proceeded to fire the attack back at Noise, only in the form of a Love Wave. "Wedding Engagement Gift...Saint Crystal...Love...For...You!" Momoko said, as she fired her attack at Noise.
"Sword Of Bluebell...Devil Purification!" I said, firing my respective purification attack from the blade of my Sword Of Bluebell, as I swung it in a left horizontal swing.
And, once our purification attacks hit Noise at exactly the same time, she was purified, to which she then faded out of existence. And yet, something didn't sit right with all of this. I just somehow knew, that things would only wind up getting tougher from here. Little did I know, that I was right.
