Hello, everyone. Here is another one-shot to celebrate Halloween. It is also the day after I released the teaser trailer of my very first story. So, there might be little references from that trailer. With that, let's get this one-shot started! The characters here in this one-shot are not owned by me, except for my OC. They belong to Nintendo. Prepare to enjoy the spooky spooks! Extra note: (...) means that a new scene is switched.

Lucifer's Spooktacular Pranks

Lucifer's POV

Halloween. A very special day for me to enjoy because I remember spooking my brother with jumpscares during that year with my family. It was a lot of fun...for me that is. Now the question is, what am I going to do for this Halloween? ... Ah! I have the greatest idea! I'm going to prank Icarus and his friends with special surprises. I just need to get the proper items necessary for this occasion.

I'm now waiting inside Icarus' room of Palutena's temple with a special animatronic I recently purchased from some kind of Halloween store. I think it's called "Spirit Halloween" or something. This animatronic in particular is a giant doll that can strike down on its victims and its blue eyes changes to red when that happens. I think the name of it "Daring Dolly" or whatever. Heh heh... Icarus is surely going to LOVE this! Suddenly, I hear footsteps coming this way along with a voice saying, "*sigh* That was a good date I had with Viridi. I wonder when we're going to plan our next date together." That sounds like Icarus! I better hide before he notices me and then watch this amazing show! To prevent my brother from noticing me, I quickly teleport out of his room and out next to his window. I then see him enter his room, from which I turned the lights off so that he didn't notice that I was inside earlier. "I think I can take a nice long nap after that date," he says before turning on the lights. But he soon sees the giant animatronic which soon activated once Icarus stepped too close to it. It started to giggle menacingly at him and its eyes turn on with a blue color. "Um...hello...?" Icarus says to the animatronic, but its response was a scream and it lunge at Icarus while its eyes turn red. "YAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Icarus screams as he run out of his room as fast as he can. Then the animatronic slowly goes back to its default position as its eyes turn back to blue before turning off. "Hahahahahaha! That was priceless! This is just like old times!" I laugh with tears coming out of my eyes before calming down afterwards. "Now then, time to scare my next victim." I fly away from the temple to head straight to Viridi's temple where I will scare off two of my most fearful victims.

Now I'm currently inside the dining room of Viridi's temple with another animatronic I purchased from Spirit Halloween. This one in particular reminds me of myself because of the way it looks. I think they called it "Hell Spawn" which kind of makes sense since this animatronic appears to have the form of a demon. And to add a little aesthetic for the scare, I placed down foam tombstones and a painted ritual circle around the animatronic earlier so that those two will enjoy this frightful experience. I can't wait to see them scare their socks off! "So, did you enjoy that date with your cutie, Mistress Viridi?~" I hear a voice ask in a teasing manor. "Come on, Phosphora! Why can't you just mind your own business and just spend time with Dark Pit or whatever?" I hear another voice growing in frustration. Those sound like Phosphora and Viridi, two of my targets that are going to be perfect for this scare. I better find somewhere to hide. It did not take long for me to find a good hiding spot which is inside the Arms Alter of this place that is just close to this area. I then close the door to prevent the two from noticing me, but not without slightly opening it so that I can watch the scene unfold. "Aw... Please, Mistress Viridi? I want to hear EVERYTHING about your date!" Phosphora whines. "Ugh, you're so nosy all the time! When are you going to learn your lesson?" Viridi groans as they soon enter the dining area. That's when they see the animatronic still deactivated and in position for the scare. "Um... What is this thing?" Phosphora asks about the animatronic. "Is that supposed to be some kind of sleeping demon or what?" Viridi responds, also confused about the situation. They are also very curious about what would a demon be sleeping in the middle of the dining area, so they decide to walk a little closer to it. That's right. Come closer to the Hell Spawn, I think to myself. You'll never know what's going to happen. But the two of them stepped a little to close to the animatronic which soon activated. Its eyes light up and it jump out of its position while making scary screaming noises. "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Phosphora and Viridi scream in fright as they quickly run out of the room as fast as they can. "Get out of my graveyard! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" the animatronic laughed as it slowly returns to its default position and turns itself off. I then get out of the Arms Alter. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! OH MY GOODNESS!" I howl with laughter. "I really got them good there! They actually fucking fell for that!" After my laughter dies down, I slowly bring myself back up to my feet. "Hmm... My last target is going to be impossible for me to scare, but I think I have a great idea that might just do the trick," I say before quickly teleporting to Dark Icarus' room.

Just for the occasion of this prank, I currently have the lights off which will keep me in the shadows. Plus, once he sees me with this terrifying look on my face, I'm sure that he'll be scarred for the rest of his afterlife. Even though he doesn't have a soul to begin with, but whatever. Now, I must wait for the time to be right. "I can't believe Viridi and my girlfriend, Phosphora, just got scared by a stupid demon robot!" I hear a voice which is none other than Icarus' dark counterpart. "Whoever had the idea to put down something like that is a moron!" Wait, what?! Did he just say that my pranks are stupid?! Oh, he is SO going to get a good scare that will be absolutely terrifying! Good thing I'm already prepared for this. Soon enough, I hear the door opening which means that Dark Icarus has arrived to enter his room, only this time, I'm not going to hide or teleport myself out of this room. I have my most terrifying prank that will surely teach him a lesson. "Can't believe those two fell for something stupid like that!" Dark Icarus continues. "I think an idiot would fell for something stupid like that." "Oh... You really think my pranks are stupid, huh Dark Icarus?" I growl after hearing his irritating words again. "Huh?! Who's there?!" the dark doppelganger wonders after hearing my voice. "Oh, nobody except me, of course, Dark Icarus," I continue with a hint tone of evil in my voice. "In fact, I think it's time to give you a little punishment for saying hurtful things to me." "What are you talking about?" Dark Icarus questions. "Let me tell you a little story," I start before taking out my right hand and activate my fire powers. "Once upon a time, I used this power to turn on a fireplace. But there was also another time where I also scared two little girls and a brother of mine with two animatronic characters. But this one particular power that I have right here with me is not about burning something to the ground," I turn myself to face Icarus' dark counterpart and look at him with black eyes and blood dripping out of my sockets, "but TO SCARE YOU AND GIVE YOU THE MOST PAINFUL DEATHS OF THE DARK ABYSS YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN!" This makes Dark Icarus scared as he runs away from his room as quickly as possible, despite not screaming in fright. After that scare, I start to smile with glee. "I... I did it! I actually did it!" I pant after my most terrifying scare I let out. "I scared the one who seemed impossible to scare to me. Now, time to go and celebrate my victory with a nice relaxing Hot Spring bath." I then decide to leave the temple and return back to where I need to be so that I can relax after a nice Halloween prank day.

"Ah... Now THIS is where everything should be done after all of my hard work," I sigh as I'm relaxing in this Hot Spring somewhere in the Overworld. "I wonder what I should do next for Halloween Night." "You're not going to do anything, brother!" I hear a voice. "Cheap tricks for pranking us on this day, Lucifer!" I hear another one. "I'd say it's time we give this sneaky little Devil some payback!" I hear yet another one. "Nobody scares me like that! Not even you, moron!" I hear the last one before slowly turning my head to see Icarus, his dark counterpart, Viridi, and Phosphora looking at me with evil smirks on my face. They seem to have their fists and hands together, cracking their knuckles, which only means one thing... "Shit..." was all I can say before bolting out of the Hot Spring with my brother and his friends chasing me. Just when I was having my relaxation and those fools had to ruin it! CURSE YOU, ICARUS!
