A Seidan woman finds herself separated from her only kin and ends up in Earthrealm. She finds herself witnessing young warriors training for the next Mortal Kombat tournament that will decide Earthrealm's fate. In the midst of this, her path becomes intertwined with the Thunder God's as he takes her in as a mentee while discovering her connection to the somewhat familiar realm.
