Eri didn't know where she was, one minute she was walking with Mirio and Deku at the mall, next thing she knew she was at so kind of port or docks. Not somewhere she didn't know; all she could do was break down and cry, unfortunately her cries were heard by a nearby person, he looked weasel-like and was slowly getting close to the girl, making Eri look behind her to see him
"Hey girly, you look lost" he said smirking as his fingers turned into paper thin like knives, Eri whimpered
"Hey Mate" a gruffer voice said
"What?!" Weasel guy shouted, only to get a bolt of lightning to his mouth making him fly off.
"Don't attack kids" he said, Eri just looked at him. "You okay kid?" he asked
"No" Eri whimpered as the lightning user picked her up and smiled
"You're Japanese aren't you?" he asked as she nodded "So let me guess, a rogue quirk brought you here huh?" he asked getting a nod again "Don't worry I'll take you to our school. Maybe from there we can get you home" he said "oh by the way I'm Zack Ryan" he said "what's your name?"
"Eri" she quietly said making Zack frown
"You wouldn't happen to know a bloke named Izuku Midoriya?" Zack asked
"You know Mr Deku!" Eri smiled
"I sure do kiddo" Zack laughed before he held out a bag of hot chips, making Eri look at it "Hot Chip?"
"Yes please" she smiled before she took some and enjoys them
"Come on I'll take you to my school" Zack said.
"Oh shoot" Zack said as he put Eri down as he rushed into a large round building "Quirk training, I was late" he said as he raced into a change room. Eri looked around and she continued to walk down the hallway where a series of bangs and crashed were coming from. Curious was not something Eri usually would call herself, thanks to the asshole Overhaul but since was a little girl, so she continued on, reaching the end which revealed a large grass area. All over the area were different students practicing with their quirks. Eri didn't know where to watch, when one of the female students landed in front of her, her light yellow wings spread out before they folded back in and she stood up. Her hero costume being a what looked like a wine red body suit with white sleeves and thigh high white leather boots, she turned around and saw Eri.
"Hello" She gently said kneeling to her level "What's your name little one?" she asked
"Eri" Eri said
"I'm Angela, but you can call me Angie" Angie smiled
"Hello" she said before a streak of brown and tan flash by
"OSCAR!" Angie shouted. The blur stopped and pulled a 180 coming back to reveal a guy in a brown suit with a 'T' shape on it the colour of coffee with milk in it, a brown mask which showed his mouth and a red visor across his eyes,
"Sorry Angie, I had a short black, ooh boy I'm supercharged, who's the little cutie?" Ozzy asked
"This is Eri, she's Japanese" Angie said
"Nice, should we get the others?" Oscar asked
"Round them up" Angie said
"You got it" Oscar said running off.
In the middle of the field was a guy in a mechanic's outfit with a pair of thick goggles on, he was generating a energy field around
"Alright let's see if I've gotten any stronger" he laughed as he launched himself forward in the strength of a missile "WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!" he laughed only to be hit with a red light and stop in midair.
"Yeah, doubt it" a girl with honey blonde shoulder length hair wearing a black catsuit with a red stripe on the left and a green one on the right smiled
"Funny Indy" the guy said
"Oh it is Crash" Indy laughed "it is" she smiled holding up her right hand, making it glow green unleashing her other half of her quirk making Crash, well crash into the wall nearby.
"You suck" Crash said "But still gorgeous, so you want to go get a milkshake maybe some hot chips?" he asked
"Depends" she smiled and walked off, "Oh class meeting by Angie from the looks of things"
"Copy that" Crash saluted and righted himself, brushing off any debris as the two walked over to where Angie was.
In another area, this one three walls set up in a square configuration was a guy who was throw a ball at different coloured 'X' marking on them. He wore a black military flack vest, a blue t-shirt, urban camo pants and a mask with a high tech monocle on his right eye. He used it to help with his quirk
"Hey Wyatt!" Oscar shouted as Wyatt caught the ball
"What is it Beanie?" Wyatt gruffly snorted
"Class meeting" Oscar said pointing to where Angie was
"Fine" Wyatt gruffly acknowledged as he threw the ball at the targets a couple of more times
"INCOMING!" a girl was heard shouting making Wyatt and Oscar look up
"Crap" the pair said as they stepped back before a brown, black and orange blur hit the ground
"Sorry about that" the girl said as she flicked back her brown hair out of her eyes
"DAMN IT ROO GIRL!" Wyatt snapped before coughing "I'm sorry Cathy, still trying to get my anger under control" Wyatt said.
"No worries" Cathy said, she wore a orange and black leotard with a white Kangaroo emblem on it, her legs were clad in brown thigh high boots with her toes left uncovered, around her forehead was a burnt orange headband. "So what's up Ozzy?' she asked
"Class meeting" Oscar said
"No worries" Cathy said smiling "Come one Grumpy" she joked
"SHUT UP!" Wyatt snapped "I AM NOT GRUMPY!"
"Oh boy" Cathy sighed.
Two rather large Heteromorphs or Mutants were glaring each other down, on one side was a human looking Crocodile snarling at a Anthromorphic Tasmania Devil wearing a khaki vet with ripped off sleeves, and a pair of Jeans and work boots while the Croc just wore a pair of board shorts.
"Come on Croccy; that all you got" The Tasmanian Devil said
"You wish furball" The croc snarled as they tried to pushed each other before a beeping was heard "Damn already?" the croc said as he let off
"I know right" The Tasmanian Devil said as he grabbed a big bottle of apple juice and a mug, pouring some into it
"Man what is with you and Apples?" the Croc asked
"I'm Tasmanian dumbass!" the Tassie devil said
"Yeah yeah" the croc snorted before a girl with black cat ears, a cat tail and cat paws for feet while wearing a maid outfit jumped on his shoulders
"Jacky!" she cheered
"Hey Kat baby" Jack smiled
"Hey Bruce" Kat said smiling
"Hey Kat, training done for this session?" Bruce asked sipping his juice
"Yep, anyway we got a class meeting" Kat pointed out
"Righto" the guys said heading over with Kat riding Jack's shoulder.
"Now then for my next trick" a girl dressed up like a magician said as she held up a hoop "I will use this simple hoola hoop to instantly change" she said throwing it horizontally up in the air
"You got this Kylie!" another girl shouted, this one wearing a white sleeveless top, matching flared pants and a pair of white boots said happily before Kylie pointing to the sky and the hoop passed over her on her way to the ground, changing her magician's outfit for a glittery party dress and black high heels
"TA DA!" she cried happily
"Alright" the second girl hugged her happily "THAT'S MY BESTIE!"
"Thanks Julie" Kylie hugged her before she noticed something "Who's that next to Angie?"
"Not sure, but she's a cutie though" Julie said
"Guys" Oscar said racing over and skidding
"Class meeting?" the girls asked
"Yeah" Oscar nodded
"I take it's about the girl with Angie" Julie said
"Sure is" Oscar before racing off.
"Okay, time for you to finally take an L, Kelly!" a boy wearing a 19th century naval coat, black vest, cream dress shirt, blue tie and black formal pants said as he took out a pencil and started to draw something in the book he was holding
"Oh please" Kelly said, her short purple hair flicking a bout, she patted her bare stomach in a mocking gesture. Het yellow midriff top were straining under her larger cup-size, she also had a pair of black tight fitting pants on. "I need to get some custom bras made" she frowned before a large drill struck her stomach "Really Paul?" she asked
"Sorry" Paul said as he started to draw something else, while Kelly cracked her knuckles and punched her hand "Um" he stuttered before he drew something up and it formed a pair of giant scissors
"Don't you dare!" Kelly shouted before a massive boxing glove appear and tried to punch her in the face, a secret blade in the glove, piercing her top and ripping it a bit
"JERK!" Kelly snarled as she stalked over to him "I only have a limited amount of these"
"Um, mercy" Paul gulped
"Nope" Kelly smirked
"Some mercy, class meeting' Oscar zipped past
"Damn it" Kelly grunted
"Oh thank goodness" Paul let out breath he didn't know he was holding in.
"This isn't over" Kelly pointed out, making Paul anxious
"Okay okay" Paul held up his hand taking a step back.
"More please" a girl with light brown hair wearing a multi layered light green dress, which the skirt looked like lettuce leaves said as she popped a baby carrot into her mouth
"You sure mate?" a cowboy looking student said
"I'm sure Bill" the girl happily said
"Alright" Bill said as he formed an energy whip out of his bare hand and placed another block weight 50Kgs on the stack of what appeared to be a combined weight of 250 kilos. "You alright there Danni?" Bill asked
"I'm sure" the girl said "though I am getting in need of some meat"
"Yeah, the drawback of your quirk" Oscar said as he skidded to a stop
"Hello Ozzy" Danni smiled "Do you have an jerky on you?" she asked
"Nope, don't even have any coffee on me" Oscar shrugged
"Shame" Danni said
"Don't worry we'll get you some soon" Oscar patted his sister's head making her giggle
"You are such a good pair of siblings" Bill smiled
"We're twins" they said
"Anyway we're having a class meeting" Oscar told them
"So who's left to tell?" Bill asked
"Matilda, Tim, Mack and Mel" Oscar said
"Okay" Bill nodded as he and Danni walked off.
"HEADS UP!" a guy in a chocolate brown suit said as he had two balls of chocolate in his hands, throwing them at a guy wearing a miner's outfit, who was shielding himself from the brown goo with blocks of rocks acting as shields.
"Easy Tim" the Miner said
"Sorry Mack, but I'm not the one you have to watch out for" Tim smirked before a female punk rocker jumping in, swinging two sword that made a sound like they were guitar rifts
"WHOA Watch it Matilda!" Tim shouted as he shot more of his quirk at Matilda, who in turn created a shield that sounded like two symbols crashing together when they were hit.
"Sorry Timmy" Matilda said before she blocked a fireball, and looked over to see her classmate Mel jump at her, the fireball being sucked into her hand, the black bikini top with metallic flames on it contrasting nicely to her caramel skin and soft brown hair and White Capoeira pants. Mel then smiled and sent more fireballs out, this time at Tim; which were thankfully blocked but Mack's earth blockage
"thanks man" Tim said as he panted
"You know that if you get the white pants dirty, she's going to unleash more fire attacks" Mack said
"But she only has a limited amount, since her quirk doesn't allow to create her own flames" Tim told him
"Oh yeah" Mack nodded
"TIME!" a voice shouted
"Huh?" the group of four asked seeing Oscar nearby, panting
"You good mate?" Mack asked
"Class meeting" Oscar said
"You need coffee?" Mel asked
"That would be lovely, but do you have any?" Oscar asked
"Sorry" the group of four said
"No worries" Oscar panted before he was carried to the rest of the class by Mack using his earth quirk, Mel and Matilda joining him on the rock.
"Now what is this class meeting about?" Mack asked
"No clue" Oscar shrugged.
"Where is he?" Angie asked as she checked her watch
"Sorry I'm late' Zack called out as he came running out in a pair of black combat pants, a grey sleeveless shirt, a brown leather vest with six disks going down the front and a Southern Cross on the back
"About time, I called the class into a meeting, so we can talk about this little one" Angie said
"I see thanks" Zack said before he pulled a hammer off his belt and used it to fling bolts of electricity at a couple of drones.
"Nice shot man" Oscar said as he fist bumped the lightning and wind user
"Cheers mate, so we all here?" Zack asked
"Most of us" Bruce said
"What's going on?" Mel asked
"Who's this little cutie?" Kat asked as she jumped off of Jack's back and landed with a backflip
"She's a girl called Eri, who has been for the past little while been under the protection of UA High" Zack said as he put his hammer away
"Then why is she here?" Wyatt asked
"I'm think a portal quirk" Zack frowned
"One of ours or theirs?" Indy asked
"I don't know, I did find her at the Port Adelaide Docks though, on my usual hot chip run" Zack smiled
"so what are we going to do?" Bruce asked
"Maybe we should tell Eri our quirks" Kat smiled
"Good idea" Oscar said
"Would you like that?" Angie asked Eri gently
"Yes, Mr Deku would be excited to learn about them as well" Eri smiled
"Okay" the class said before a floating drone flew over to them
"What's that?" Eri asked
"G'day" a soft and digitally feminine voice said "I'm the Australian Digital Informant or simply Adi" she said
"Hello, Miss Adi" Eri said
"Okay so how are we going to do this?" Wyatt asked gruffly.
"I'll start since I met her first" Zack said "G'Day little one, the name is Zack Ryan and my quirk is Stormfront, giving me the ability to control the elements of a storm: Lightning, Wind and Thunder" he smiled
"Wow" Eri said
"Me Next, I'm Angela Wynn, though most people just call me Angie, and as you can clearly see my quirk is Angelic meaning I have a pair of angel like wings" Angie smiled
"So pretty" Eri said making Angie giggle.
"Hello there, I'm Oscar Cosgrove" Oscar bowed, "And my quirk is Caffeine rush, the more coffee I consume, the higher my speed!" Oscar proudly declared
"So cool" Eri said
"Hello little one, I'm Nikki Cosgrove, Oscar's twin sister. My quirk is Veggiemighty the more vegetables I eat the stronger I get, but the downside is that I do have to eat some meat to return my strenght back to a baseline level" Nikki frowned
"That's kind of cool" Eri said
"G'day I'm Bruce Van Diemen and my Quirk is Devilish" Bruce introduced himself shifting into his Tassie Devil form "And I can turn into a Tasmanian Devil like form" he smiled "Apple?" he held one out for her, making her eyes sparkle
"Thank you" she smiled and bit into it
"That's a Tasmanian Royal Gala" Bruce explained
"Yummy" Eri said smiling at the sweetness, making the girls go 'aww' at how cute she was
"Okay sweaty, I'm Julie Shine and my quirk is Opalescence" she introduced herself as her skin turned into something like the jewel Opal "which turns my skin into Opal"
"Pretty" Eri said
"Hey, I'm Mack Digby, the name quirk is Earthly giving me the power to manipulate the ground, but not plants for some reason" Mack smiled
"Come one, come all to see the magnificent Kylie Crowe and my wondrous Quirk Illusionist making it so I can do magic" Kylie smiled creating a small bunch of fireworks
"Hey I'm Crash Holden and my Quirk is Impact Zone, for when I use it I turn into a rocket" Crash introduced himself charging his quirk
"And I'm Indy Ford my quirk is Traffic Light, meaning I can make a stop with a red light" she smiled using it on Crash to making him freeze in place "Or speed them up with my green light" she added as Crash sped off into the wall after being hit by Indy's green light, letting out a 'not again' making Eri giggle
"Howdy I'm Bill Brumby my quirk is constructor, using it I can make energy constructs" Bill tipped his Akuba hat
"Hola; I'm Mel Bourne and my quirk is Pyra I use it to absorb and control flames" Mel smiled
"I'm Jack Hogan little mate, and my quirk Salty allows me to shoot out high pressured stream of liquid salt" Jack said as Kat jumped on his shoulder
"And I'm Kat Sutherland, my quirk gives me luck manipulation as well as the black cat feature, oh its looked Lucky" Kat blushed
"So cute" Jack said
"Yeah yeah, I'm Wyatt Jenkins and my quirk is Spot On, anything I target I hit" Wyatt gruffly snorted making Eri a bit unsure
"Don't worry sweetie, he's an ass. Anyway I'm Cathy Munroe" she waved "And with my quirk Skybound, I can leap really high, or really far" she smiled jumping into the sky.
"SHOW OFF!" Wyatt shouted
"DICK!" Cathy remarked landing smirking
"Okay enough with the coarseness, I am Paul Twist and my quirk is wild imagination. Whatever I draw, comes to life. I use a sketchbook mostly because ist easy to draw in"
"Yo, Matilda Reilly here and my Soundblast quirk generates solidified sound which I can control, and it's totally rocking" she smiled
"Timothy Tamworth at your service, my quirks is Gooey, I generate a sticky chocolate like goo" he smiled
"And last but not least I'm Kelly Edwards, the girl with the quirk of Steel Skin which is pretty self explanatory" Kelly said.
"Wow they're all amazing quirks" Eri said "but how come a couple of you look different."
"Oh, you mean these three?" Mack asked indicating Cathy, Mel and Kat
"I'm part Brazilian" Mel said
"I'm an Indigenous Australia" Cathy said
"I'm from South Korea" Kat smiled
"Oh" Eri said
"Don't we have a pro hero from Japan?" Bruce asked
"Yeah, the second rank Australian Pro Hero, the Quickstrike Hero Taipan, who happens to be quirkless" Angie said
"Quirkless?" Eri asked
"Yeah" Angie said "He said that he knew someone who was quirkless like him and wanted to be a hero but everyone laughed"
"So he did" Kylie shrugged.
"Wow" Eri smiled making everyone smile as well
"I think practice is over, back to class everyone, Maybe Mr Jackman and Miss Cloud can help us get this little one back to Japan" Angie said
"Good idea" Zack said before his phone buzzed, frowning his pulled it out and read the message "SHIT!" he loudly curse
"You right mate?" Bruce inquired
"No I'm not" Zack frowned "Massacre got loose, and they sent in the Hoolingans"
"Wait, does that mean?" Mack asked
"Yeah...my dad is facing down a dangerous villain" Zack said.
G'day Guys Grizz here, so this is something I had in mind for AGES, well since My Hero Black Lightning where I introduced Zack and the idea of an Aussie school, hey can you blame me I'm Australian! Anyway I finally got around to it when I started reading my mate Mrotrax's My Hero Pen-Pal reboot so I figured why not start the fic, so in this first fair dinkum chapter we meet the Australian counterparts of UA High's 1-A, several of which are inspired by American Comic book characters, who I will revealing in the list document which is basically just a list of various names and quirks, as well as Australian references so look forward to that, next time we meet some of the villains!
