Chapter 1: Stuffing:
Jackie's POV:
It was time for Thanksgiving. Jade was trying to be sneaky.
"Nice try," says Tohru, "wait until it's ready."
"Awe," says Jade.
Construction Worker's POV:
We were setting up the new building. We gotta work on Thanksgiving. Go figure. Then I found something.
"Hey, check it out."
"What is it?"
"It kind of looks like a Native American totem of a bat."
"Those things creep me out."
"You're a paranoid nut."
"Yeah, well, you're always afraid of getting in trouble."
I then dropped the thing, and it broke...
Jackie's POV:
Two men come in. "I'm sorry, but we're closed," I said.
"Help me," says one of the men.
"With what," I asked.
"I see him everywhere! He seeks to punish me!"
"AAAAaaaannnndddd how'bout you," I asked.
"They're after me!"
"Who's after you," I asked.
"I don't know, but someone's after me!"
I just stared at them. "I think you two should go now," I said.
"There he is! He's right behind you!"
"You're part of the conspiracy too, aren't you?"
The two then ran. Uncle then hits me. "You are a lousy salesman... wait, we are closed. You did good."
"I wonder what that was about," I said.
"Jackie, I need breadcrumbs to make the stuffing," says Tohru, "would you mind going to the store to get some bread?"
"Sure," I said.
. . .
I was on my way to the store when I saw an old man sitting on a construction site. I then walked over to him. "Are you alright," I asked.
"We are all in danger," he says.
"How... do you figure," I asked.
"Because of a darkness. My name is Dennis and I have a story for you. Do you recall when the settlers first came to this country?"
"Yes, I know that story," I said.
"Well, here's what you didn't know, Tihkoosue did not like the idea of outsiders coming to this land. So, he made a deal with the Goshi, an evil spirit that has the power to give you fear. That one man was paranoid, so now, he thinks someone is out to get him, and the other fears punishment, so he sees him everywhere. Tihkoosue gained power over fear. He became the Night Terror! Pale Face and Red Face then joined forces and imprisoned him within a totem, but that totem is broken and now he is back and wishes to rid this land of all outsiders and the people he feels betrayed him! We are all doomed, Jackie."
"How do you know my name," I asked.
"You are well known in the spirit world," says Dennis.
"OOOOooookkkkaaaayyyy," I said, "that part sounds hard to believe... but the story, I will at least be cautious about."
Tommy's POV:
We were all at the store. I then looked and then there was a flood. "Guys," I said, "look out!"
The flood was getting worst, and I was starting to drown.
Phil's POV:
I looked and saw Tommy doing a weird dance. "I don't even wanna know." I then turned around and a giant bar of soap fell on me. "Hey, get this thing off me! It's starting to sting and it's crushing me!"
Chuckie's POV:
I saw Tommy and Phil acting weird. "You guys okay," I asked. Then this weird old guy shows up in front of me. He waved his staff to me... but nothing happens. He's disappointed and leaves. "Weirdo."
Jackie's POV:
I returned to the Antique Shop and told Uncle everything. "Then we must prepare for the Night Terror," says Uncle.
