Hi Readers: Hope you guys are enjoying the story so far. But now, I am going to do something a bit different than what I normally do when it comes to chapters, because this chapter isn't going to be part of the current storyline. Rather, it's going to be set in the future. A future which may or may not happen, as it's my first dream chapter. I hope you guys like it.

Dream Chapter Thirteen
Damien Matthew Casey

Fall 2013 – Upstairs Living Room, Casey Home
Never in a million years did he think he'd be a father so soon after becoming a husband, something which he and his wife were originally against; but that all changed the day he met him, the little boy who was currently all cuddled up to him in the living room of his and Alex's home while he fed him a bottle. His newborn son Damien Matthew, who was three days old as of today. And today, he was going to be giving him something for the first time; he was going to be giving him a bottle due to the fact that he wants his wife to rest and just take it easy right now, especially after how she gave birth. And just how might have Alex given birth? Well, she decided to be a bit of a show off and do it the old fashion way; she decided to do a home birth and give birth naturally. And let's just say that it was the best experience in the entire world, especially when he got to hold his son for the first time, when he got to cuddle up to his little Damien. The boy who's made his dream come true. His son, who's finally made him a father after all this time.

It's been a long time coming, but it seems like the stars have finally aligned for this to happen; he found the perfect woman, married her, and had a baby with her. A little boy who he loves more than anything, with the exception of his mommy (who made him a father). I mean, that is something he's grateful for. He's grateful for the fact that she gave him his biggest dreams come true: first, she made him a husband; then, she made him a father by giving birth to this little on just three days ago. And that's why, to thank her for giving him the life he's always wanted, he's decided that he would take care of their little one right now. Take care of him and just make sure that he stays calm and doesn't wake her up, when she needs to get as much rest as possible. Though, that didn't seem to have worked much due to the fact that Alex was awake. "I was wondering where my guys went." Turning his head when he heard Alex wake up, Matt smiled due to the fact that he always loves to see his gorgeous wife; though, he didn't like that she was awake right now.

If anything, he'd rather she still be fast asleep in their bed; that way, she can get the rest she needs and deserves right now. "Hey, I thought you were asleep." Alex nodded, as she was asleep; now, she's awake and looking for the two most important men in her world…her husband and their little boy. "I was, then my husband left me alone in bed and I couldn't find my son." Matt agreed with Alex as she said that, while watching as she made her way over to him; leaning over him, Alex smiled as she placed her hands on Matt's face before kissing him softly. "I love you." Matt agreed with his wife, as he loves her too. "I love you too. So, you going to stay here with me and Damien? Or, are you going to go back to bed?" Alex bit her lip, as she was tired. "I was thinking of going back to bed. I'm tired and just feel like I need to keep resting." Matt agreed with his wife, understanding that she needs to rest. "Hey, look at me." Alex agreed with Matt, as she turned her head and looked at him. "If you need rest, then go get some rest baby." Alex agreed.

After all, she does have the best husband in the entire world. "I love you." Matt agreed with his wife, well aware that was the case. "And I love you, and I don't want you to feel like you need to wake up right now. I promise, I got Damien and I want you to just relax and take it easy. I mean, you must still be sore down there." Alex agreed with her husband. "Remind me who's genius idea it was again to have me have a water birth in our tub?" Matt smiled, while Alex put her hand up. "I don't want to hear it. I just want to take it easy and relax." Looking at her little boy, Alex smiled as she placed her hand on top of his head and pressed her lips to his forehead. "Hi baby boy, mommy loves you. Enjoy some time with daddy, I need to go back to bed." Matt agreed with Alex, before making an adorable voice (pretending to be Damien). "Go ahead mommy, I understand and love spending time with daddy." Smiling, Alex laughed as she pressed her lips to his forehead; before noticing that he had his iPad out. "Seriously?" Matt agreed with Alex.

After all, he wants to read here. "I mean, e-mails when Damien is 3 days old?" Matt shook his head, before pushing it towards her; while Alex picked it up to see what it was. And rather than reading his e-mails, Matt was instead reading the Business Section of the LA Times. "Oh, you're reading the LA Times' Business Section." Matt agreed with his wife. "Believe me, I am nowhere near awake enough to be reading or thinking about business. The only thing that's on my mind right now is this adorable little boy of ours. I promise you that, okay babe?" Alex agreed with her husband, well aware that he's concentrating on Damien. "I have to say, I really like the name we chose." Matt agreed. "You still haven't told me how you found the name." Alex smiled, agreeing with Matt as he said that, well aware that she's yet to tell him how she found the name; that was, until they were in bed. "How about I tell you when you come back to bed?" Matt agreed with his wife, as he likes that idea. "Just go lay down and rest, I got him Alex. I got Damien."

Alex agreed with her husband. "Damian McGinty." Matt was confused when he heard Alex say that. "Look him up, that's where I got the idea for his name." Matt agreed with his wife, while watching her walk away to go lay down in bed; meanwhile, he opened the browser on his iPad so that he can go search up the name Damian McGinty; only to laugh when he realized that it's an actor on Glee. "Rory? Seriously!" Alex laughed as she heard her husband say that, already well aware of the fact that they're going to talk about it. I mean, how can they not talk about the fact that they named their son after an actor, who starts on a show that Alex loves?

Damien was fast asleep once more, laying down in his crib with his mobile on; the newborn little boy already enjoying his life as a baby. One which included him having two of the best parents in the entire world, who love each other very much and are happy with each other; especially when they're in bed holding each other close. "So, you seriously decided to name our son after an actor on Glee?" Alex agreed with her husband as he asked her that question, while also opening her arms as a way to get him to join her in bed; after all, that's precisely what she wants Matt to do right now. She wants him to get in bed with her, hold her close, and give her a sweet kiss. And let's just say that Matt is more than ready to do that. "It's not the same exact spelling." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, before also getting in bed with the woman he loves; slipping close to her as he closed the covers, he smirked because of how happy he is. So much so, he just brought his wife close to him and crashed his lips into hers. And damn, that surprised Alex.

It surprised her in a good way though, as it was the perfect way for him to kiss her. It was precisely what she wanted from him, as it pleased her and made her very happy. And that's all she could think about right now, how truly happy she is. "Would you be mad if I did name our son after him?" Matt shook his head, as he liked the name. "Damien is a strong name. It's a name that I like, and I think we can have it. It's just so nice, and I am just very happy to finally be a dad." Alex agreed with her husband as he told her that, smirking as she slipped her legs in between his, while also cuddling up to her loving husband. Leaning up, she proceeded to kiss Matt prior to thanking him. "Thanks for feeding him." Matt shook his head, as it was no problem. "It's no problem. I know you're still tired, and you just want to take it easy and relax. And if that's what you want to do right now, then I think you should relax and take it easy." Alex agreed with Matt, really happy that she has such a great partner in life; a partner who's here for everything.

He's been here for her ever since she gave birth to Damien, and that means the world to her. "I hope you know that you being here for me after I gave birth means the world to me." Matt agreed with his wife, well aware that it means the world to her. "Alex, I'm your husband and I love you more than anything. There's no way that I'm not going to be here if you need me. That's my job as your husband, to be there for you when you need me. And right now, that's precisely what you needed. You needed me to be here for you, so I was right here, where I belong at the moment. Plus, what man wouldn't love the idea of spending a bunch of quality time with his wife and son?" Alex smiled as Matt said that. "And you're positive that you aren't mad over where I got his name?" Matt shook his head, as he most certainly was not mad over where she told their son's name. "I mean, just means that I get to name our first daughter Kim." Alex just looked at her husband as he said that. "No, we are not naming our daughter after her!"

Matt smirked. "What, she's hot!" Alex looked at her husband. "Wait, you have a crush on Kim Kardashian?" Matt shook his head. "I just think she's hot. The only woman I plan on having a crush on for the rest of my life is right here, all cuddled up to me as we hold each other close and just take it nice and easy with each other." Alex agreed with her husband as she placed her hand on his muscular chest, while also leaning in and kissing the man the loves; meanwhile, Matt placed his hand on her back and stroked it with his thumb as a way to take things nice and slow with the woman he loves. The woman of his dreams, Alexandra Marie Casey. "I love you Alex, and I love our life." Alex agreed with Matt, as she loves their life too. "I love you too, forever." Just taking things nice and slow with Matt this evening, Alex smirked due to the fact that this truly is the best life. She has the man of her dreams holding her, as she takes it nice and slow with her amazing husband. The husband she plans on surprising at the office tomorrow.

The Next Day
Casey Los Angeles – He had to go to work for an emergency meeting, which truly is the last thing he wanted to do today. He would much rather be at home, holding his beautiful wife and son in bed as they just hold each other. And that's precisely where he wants to go back to the moment he gets a chance to. But right now, he's in the midst of working on the budget with his finance team. "Ok. Now, you did say that you wanted to expand your team. Are we going to be taking the money for their salaries out of the emergency fund? Or are we going to be forgoing the shareholder dividends?" Matt took a breath as his team asked him that question, before turning his head to look at his sister. "Can you forgo your dividend?" Christie nodded. "I'm flush with Cash from the divorce. I sold the place in Chicago, so I can forgo the dividend if you can do that. I know that things are expensive now with Damien. Speaking of which, how are things going with Damien?" Matt smiled when Christie brought up his little boy. "Is it normal to miss him this much?"

Christie smiled. "It's always hard when you go back to work for the first couple weeks." But, luckily for Matt, he has a wife who wants to make it nice and easy for him. "But, luckily for you, you have a wife who wants to help out in whatever way she can to make it easier on you." Turning his head, Matt was truly surprised when he saw Alex and Damien here. "Alex?" Smiling as she looked at her husband. "Surprise." Matt agreed with his wife, before getting up and smiling as he made his way over to his family; meanwhile, his Chief Financial Officer, Emma Taylor, got up as well and looked at Christie. "Ms. Casey, would you like me to leave and give Mr. Casey time with his family?" Smiling, Christie agreed with the CFO as she believes that's what Matt needs right now. "How about you go speak to Mr. Severide, get an update on the rent we got from Casey Rental Group this year; we also need to updated rent to predict our budget for FY 2015 since we're raising rents now." Emma agreed with her boss, smiling as she packed up her tablet to leave the family be.

However, not before she says hi to Alex. "Hi Ms. Casey and Mr. Damien. How are you guys?" Smiling, Alex looked at the member of the finance team. "I'm good, thanks…" Matt then went to tell his wife what her name is. "Emma." Alex agreed with Matt, glad that he reminded her of her name. "Sorry, I guess I forgot your name." Emma shook her head, as that's more than okay. "Ms. Casey, you have a lot on your plate with Damien. We all know that you need to relax and take it easy at times." Alex agreed, as that's precisely why she's here. She wants to spend a bit of time with her husband, well Damien does. She needs to take a nap. "That's actually why I'm here." Looking up at Alex, Matt got concerned. "Emma?" Emma agreed. "Have a good day sir." Walking away, she left the family alone, while Matt got close to Alex. "Hey, is everything okay?" Alex agreed with Matt. "Just tired. He might be a good little boy in your presence, but he's been a monster ever since you left. I know, you needed to get that meeting done but…"

Wrapping his arms around Alex, Matt pressed his lips to her forehead. "Listen, the meeting's not for a bit. I have time if you need to get some rest. How about I close my things and we can go up to the penthouse? I can take care of Damien and give him a nice bath, while you get some rest?" Alex looked at Matt. "How did you know…" Matt then went to run his fingers through her hair to get some of the spit up out of her hair. "Let's get you upstairs to the shower. Then, you can take a nap in bed." Christie looked at her brother as he said that. "Matt, you did the crucial meetings today. If you want, I can take over the rest of your meetings? If Damien isn't feeling good, then you should go home." Alex just cuddled up to Matt. "I already packed a bag to stay the night. We can be here for tonight and leave tomorrow after work. How does that sound?" Matt agreed, before turning to look at his sister. "I'm going to work upstairs though. If there's a meeting, I'll come down right away." Christie agreed with Matt. "Okay." Matt smiled, nodding.

After which, he looked at Alex. "Listen, I need to grab a couple things here. How about you go upstairs and take it easy? I'll be there in 30 minutes. I need to finish and pack up." Alex agreed with her husband, before wrapping her arm around his back and leaning in to kiss him softly; while Matt placed his hand on her face and just took things nice and slow with the woman of his dreams. "I love you Alex, and I'm here for you. Remember? I told you that you and Damien come first." Alex agreed with her husband as he told her that; especially since he's not just telling her that now, but he's also showing her that she and Damien truly come first in his world. "I know that Matt, because you show me that we come first every day. Now, I'm going to head upstairs. You pack up and come find me and Damien." Matt agreed with his wife. "Or, you want me to…" Letting go of her husband, Alex walked over to the stroller and then went to push Damien away. "Ok. See you soon." Alex agreed with her husband before making her way upstairs.

Primary Suite, Casey Penthouse – He could hear Alex in the shower the moment he came up to their penthouse shortly after briefing his sister on all the meetings which she was going to take care of for him today, the father having decided that coming to take care of his son and wife is much more important than having to work today. Sure, he might be at the office; but, he needs to be a dad right now as he could just tell that Alex wasn't feeling the best. And if she has a cold, then that means that he needs to take care of Damien for her; their little boy, who was currently laying down in the crib they had on Alex's side of the bed. Meanwhile, he was taking a moment to admire him, while he stood next to him in his towel. "Hi D. Daddy's home and ready to take care of you and mommy." Stroking Damien's cheek, Matt smiled as he was very happy to have the most adorable son in the entire world; a son who his wife gave birth to, the wife he was about to join in the shower as he made his way over to the washroom while carrying his boxers.

And let's just say that Matt's glad that he came up when he did, as it means that he's going to get a chance to join her in the shower; her and that gorgeous body of hers, which looked absolutely gorgeous as she stood under the water like she was right now. There's just something about the way she does this to him that always turns him on, and he's so glad that he gets to admire her when she takes a shower; a privilege that only he has in his life due to the fact that he's her husband. And now, he's about to join her so that he can be with her. So that he can hold her in his arms and make her feel better. But first, he set his boxers down next to her new lingerie; and boy, did he love the lingerie which his wife was going to wear for him. It's very sexy, maybe even too sexy for a new mom. But, if Alex wants to wear this lingerie for him, then he's not going to complain. All he's going to do is hold her, as he tries to make his gorgeous wife feel better. And that's precisely why he was going to join her in the shower now that he had his towel off.

Now that he took his towel off and hung it up next to Alex's robe, which he recognizes as the one she wears at their big house; so, he just knew that she brought it with her. And he likes that, as it means that she's going to be comfortable…especially since she brought all of her comfort food, including the food that was once in the fridge. Hell, she even unpacked without him. That was just too much, and he wanted to let his wife know that, which is why he mentioned it the moment he was in the shower with her. "You could've waited for me to come help you unpack if you weren't feeling well." Turning around to look at Matt as he told her that, Alex smiled as she's very happy to have her husband here. "There was perishables and stuff that had to go in the fridge." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, before walking up to him and placing his hand on her neck; leaning in afterwards, he kissed Alex softly. "I love you, and I absolutely hate that you aren't feeling good." Alex agreed, well aware that he hates it when she doesn't feel good.

But, that just comes with the season. It's fall now, which means that it's flu season. "It's why I'm here. I brought clothes so that we can stay here, so that you can work and just be here if I need you to take care of Damien." Matt agreed with his wife. "If you aren't feeling good, then I'm not going to work. I'm going to take care of you and D. That's a fact." Alex agreed with Matt, before wrapping her arms around his neck and holding her man close to her; while Matt placed his hands on her back and smiled as he held the woman he loves close to him. Bending down, he kissed her shoulder and smiled. "I love you." Alex agreed with her husband, well aware that he loves her. "I love you too Matt, forever. And it means the world to me that you're going to be here to take care of Damien while I rest." Matt agreed with Alex, well aware that's the case. "I'm here because I'm a father first." Alex agreed with Matt, while placing her hands on his muscular chest. "You working from home?" Matt shook his head. "Not today. You're sick, I'm taking care of you and D."

Alex agreed with Matt as she rubbed his chest and leaned in to kiss him softly, while also taking things nice and slow with him as a way to show him just how much she truly loves him. "I'm sorry, I can't go very long. I just want to rest right now." Matt agreed with his wife, which is why he's here. "I'm here so that you can rest and take it easy. Now, let's get out of the shower, and we can go lay down in bed. We can take it easy and just relax today. I can be here for you and D. First, let's get you washed up here in the shower." Alex agreed.

Walking out of the washroom shortly after finishing up with putting her underwear and top on, Alex couldn't help but smile as she watched Matt rock Damien back to sleep; after all, he did wake up while they were in the shower. But now, he was in his daddy's arms; while he rocked him and walked around their room in his boxers and tapped his back. "Yeah, there we go little buddy. You're happy to have daddy holding you in his arms and spending time with you, aren't you? You can just take it easy and relax, just like mommy needs to do today." Smiling as she heard Matt say that, Alex shook her head. "Keep saying stuff like that, and we might be trying for your little girl sooner rather than later." Turning to face Alex, Matt smirked as he liked the sound of that. "Our little Katie?" Alex smiled. "Now, that's a girl name that I can get behind. Get the name Kim out of your head!" Matt agreed with his wife, as he's already done just that. He knows that they aren't having a daughter named Kim, so he's not even going to think about it for the rest of his life.

All he's going to think about is his wife and their son, right now. "You want me in bed with you?" Alex nodded, as she'd appreciate that. "I know you need to take care of Dame…" That's just one of Damien's many nicknames. "…but, I'd really appreciate it if you could be in bed with me." Matt agreed with his wife, as that's something he can do for her; so, he decided to set Damien down in his crib. "There we go buddy; you just take it easy and relax. Daddy needs to go take care of mommy right now." Smiling as she heard Matt say that, Alex opened the covers to their bed prior to going to lay down, while he turned to make his way over to her. "So, how are you feeling after the shower?" Alex sighed. "I think this cold hasn't been helped at all by the fact that I'm tired." Matt agreed with his wife, well aware that she's tired. "I knew I shouldn't have gone anywhere today, you needed me." Alex shook her head. "It's okay. Just come here and be with me." Matt agreed with his wife, as he went to get in bed with his beautiful wife this afternoon.

And as much as he knew he couldn't get sick; he'd rather be in bed holding Alex then not. It's where she needs him to be; so, he's going to be here for her as a way to make her happy. "I hope you know that I'd rather take my chances than not hold you at all; I know that you want me here, so I'm going to be here and hold you." Alex agreed with her husband as she watched him get in bed. "I know." Matt smiled when Alex said that, before laying down in bed like she wanted him to; while Alex turned around and opened her side of the bed. Getting in afterwards, she crawled into bed with the man of her dreams ahead of laying down on top of Matt; on top of the man, she loves more than anything in the entire world. Wrapping her arms around his torso afterwards, Alex smiled as she laid her head down on his chest and just cuddled up to him. Meanwhile, Matt tugged the sheets up on top of them both and placed his hand on her leg. Turning his head afterwards, Matt pressed his lips to her forehead as he smiled at his gorgeous wife.

The woman he loves more than anything in the entire world, Alexandra Marie Casey. He then proceeded to look down at her and smirked due to the fact that this truly is everything he wants in life. He wants to be married to Alex as they hold each other close and take it easy. "I love you Alex and I hope you know that I will always come take care of you and Damien, if it's something you need me to do." Laying her head down on Matt's chest, Alex agreed as she cuddled up to him; while also enjoying the feeling of him running his hand up and down her back, even more so when he placed his hand on her arm (the one she has on his chest). The one which is connected to the hand she has on his chest, while using her hand to stop his chest with her thumb. "I know Matt, because I love you too." Pressing his lips to Alex's forehead, Matt smiled as he held his beautiful wife close to him as they held each other and took it nice and easy with each other, which is all they need to do right now due to the fact that Alex is a little tired right now.

She just needs to take it easy and relax, as she holds her loving husband close to her. She needs to make sure that they take it nice and easy with each other, for the sake of their son and each other's health. And as long as they do that, then they're going to live a long, happy life together. One with their beautiful baby boy, Damien; the little boy who was fast asleep in his crib, just like his beautiful mother was on his father's chest. The chest she always likes to sleep on whenever he isn't sleeping on it. "This is my chest tonight, just for what it's worth." Matt laughed, well aware of what Alex was trying to tell him: Damien was going to sleep in his crib tonight, not on his chest. So, he decided to agree to that request. "I promise, this is going to be your chest to sleep on tonight." Alex agreed with Matt, smiling as she was glad she was going to be the one sleeping here tonight rather than their son. Don't get her wrong, she loves their son and finds it absolutely adorable when he sleeps on his father's chest; she just likes to sleep there too, especially when she's sick.

And that's precisely what she reminded her husband, even though he already knew it. "You just know me; I like sleeping here when I feel like crap." Running his hand up and down Alex's back, Matt nodded as he knew that was the truth; nor did he need to be reminded of that truth, when he's the one that made sure he was here for a reason. He already knew that he was needed up here right now, so he made sure to leave work early so that he can concentrate on his family. "Babe, I decided not to work for a reason. I decided to just concentrate on you and take it easy, rather than work due to the fact that it's what you need me to do right now. And I'm glad that I'm doing it, because I want to make sure that you feel better. Now, just take a breath and take a nice nap on my chest. I promise to listen for Dame, and I can even feed him if you want." Alex shook her head. "I didn't make bottles." Matt nodded. "Ok. Well, then how about you just take a nap, and I can worry about waking you up. I love you babe." Alex agreed with her husband.

After all, she loves him too and feels like the luckiest woman in the entire world when it comes to how much she gets to be with him. She just has the biggest heart, and it's all hers to love right now. She gets to cuddle up to him, as they take it nice and easy and just concentrate on each other. It's the best feeling in the entire world: having her husband hold her close, just like he is right now. It's all she needs, and she has it thanks to this amazing man she has the honor of calling her husband, now and forever.
