Chapter 2: Burial Ground:
Jackie's POV:
We were checking out the Night Terror's burial ground.
"Remember, the Night Terror will try to use our fears against us," says Uncle.
"This guy likes to turn Thanksgiving into Halloween," says Jade.
"These are the pieces of the totem," I said.
"We could find way to fix these," says Uncle, "but then we must find the spell to put Night Terror back in totem."
"So, what's the spell," asks Jade.
"How am I supposed to know," asks Uncle, "I am Chinese Chi Wizard! Native American evil requires Native American magic! We need a shaman!"
"Where do we find one," asks Tohru.
"Uncle has theory."
Tohru then looks. "Oni!" We all look to see what Tohru sees, but we saw nothing.
"Tohru, I think the Night Terror's getting to you," I said.
"The Oni is coming for us," says Tohru, "I will keep Jade safe!"
"I'm glad the others are missing this," says Jade. Jade then looks. "No! It can't be!"
"What is it, Jade," I asked.
"Too much homework," says Jade.
"Jade's worse fear," says Uncle, "more studying."
"We need to find a way to snap them out of it," I said.
"Jade's phone," says Uncle, "it has loud music! Play it and it can bring them back to reality!"
I then grabbed Jade's phone and I play one of her songs and it was so loud, it snaps Jade and Tohru out of it.
"Woah, thanks," says Jade.
"We must get back to antique shop before Night Terror comes for us," says Uncle.
We then all saw him.
"I'm sorry, we have to go now, thank you," I said.
We then ran.
. . .
We were running and the Night Terror kept showing up.
"Great, he's stalking us," says Jade.
"There's the antique shop," says Tohru.
"It has a magic barrier that should keep us safe from Night Terror," says Uncle.
We then ran.
. . .
We finally made it to the antique shop.
"Did the Night Terror get to you," asks Tommy.
"Oh yeah," says Jade.
"We were lucky to get away," says Tohru.
I then looked out the window and saw the Night Terror and he did not look happy.
"All this because he didn't like white people," asks Angelica.
"It happens," I said, "there are people who don't accept those of different races."
"I met some jerks that get on my case because I'm black," says Susie.
"Some people make fun of me for being Japanese," says Kimi.
"Uncle had trouble fitting in when Uncle came to this country. Took Uncle while to learn language."
"Uncle, you said you had a theory of where we can find a shaman," I said.
"Yes. Uncle believes that your friend... could be a shaman!"
