Chapter 5: Shadows:

Jackie's POV:

Two construction workers accidently released a Native American spirit that's forcing everyone to experience fear and now he's trapping me in a dream world.

"Have fun with the dragon!"

The Night Terror created an image of Shen Du. Shen Du comes to attack me, but I jump out of the way. Shen Du attempts again, but I kept dodging. I don't know how I'm going to defeat Shen Du... then I thought of something. Just as Shen Du's about to strike... he's a statue. "That's better," I said.

"What did you do?"

"Best way to beat him," I said, "well, that and just banish him back to the Demon Netherworld. You know, he actually makes good decoration."

"You have not beaten me yet!"

Jade's POV:

We were trying to calm John. He was freaking out.

"You see anything," I asked.

"The Night Terror's freaking everyone out," says Tommy.

"We must get to the spell," says Dennis.

I then saw the Night Terror out the window. "You think you've won," I asked, "we're going to beat you! So, you put Jackie to sleep, big deal! He's been through worse! Do you know how many times he's risked his life to save me?"

Then the Night Terror smirks and disappears. That can't be good.

Jackie's POV:

I was walking through the dream world. "So, what's next," I asked, "I fall down a cliff, take a test I forgot to study for, are people going to see my underwear?"

"Uncle Jackie?"

"Jade," I asked. Jade was grabbed by two shadowkhan. "Let her go!" She then disappears with them. "NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!"

Jade's POV:

"What's wrong with Jackie," I asked.

Jackie was shaking. "The Night Terror has found his weakness," says Dennis.

"I think you gave him the idea," says Lil.

"I am such a dork," I said.

"Can the spell save him," asks Uncle.

"I'm afraid, Jackie must save himself," says Dennis.

Jackie's POV:

I was on my knees. "You failed to save her! you could not protect your niece. Do you still hear her words before she was taken?"

"Uncle Jackie."

That's when I realized something... it couldn't have been Jade. For one thing, how did she even get in here and for another, she usually just calls me Jackie. "I have had enough of your tricks," I said, "come and face me man to... whatever you are!"

The Night Terror then appears in front of me. "Let's do this!"

We then fought.
