Hello everyone time to get into this*

Ryan's POV*

I was sitting in my car as I usually do after a nightshift. Tonight had been another of of those nights, downside of working in a restaurant nightshift sucks! Cleaning up everything, mopping the floors and the whole nine yards. But hey it pays well. But at this point want to get home. I got a nice fiancé after all living together in a fairly small house but still a house and well I can't complain.

She's my Sapphire Star, Amelia. She's amazing in so many ways. A crafty woman who you could hand a bolt of cloth or a blank canvas and she'd make something to make kings and queens jealous. But she is the farthest from being weak. How do I know this? Simple, some asshole tried hitting on her while I was going to the bathroom during a date. When I came back?

He was on the ground crying as she held and twisted his arm behind him. And she had kicked him in the family jewels.

Of course I love her with all my heart. Why wouldn't I?

Now I'm not some guy who works in some fast food place, I'm a cook in one of the best restaurants in town! Now it's still stressful as any job would be.

But I do have my hobbies. I have recently started going to a local Kendo place as I always wanted to learn how to use a sword and back at the house during my free time while me and Amelia are cuddling on the couch and reading. She's reading her books on art and I'm reading books on smithing.

And of course the two of us love the Monster Hunter franchise. And we each have a favorite monster, but we both equally love the King of the Skies and the Queen of the Land.

But enough day dreaming I have to go pick up Amelia from her job working as a manager at a library. So starting up the car I began to drive to the library. It was a short drive away and nothing overly complicated happened along the way though I did hear some police sirens in the distance.

But I just tuned them out thinking they were just pulling some idiot over for going over the speed limit.

Eventually I got to the library just as my dear queen was leaving and locking the library's door. Seeing me pulling in my car she began quickly jogging over to the car. Soon she was at the passenger door and opened it she began talking in her heavenly voice, "Hello my dear king." She said getting into the car and giving me a kiss on the cheek.

Chuckling a little bit I replied, "Hello to you as well my sweet queen." And I returned the kiss.

As I slowly started to return to our house. A small part of me began to notice that the sirens of the police were slowly getting louder but again I didn't notice. And at an intersection I slowly began to turn to turn onto the road leading to our subdivision.

However, the car was suddenly lit up with headlights and turned my head to see a car about to crash into us. And quickly I yelled for Amelia to, "Brace!"

However the next thing I knew we were upside down. Slowly I realized that we were hit dead on and I couldn't feel my legs and slowly began to feel like I was in a furnace, it was annoying.

However my mind quickly snapped to Amelia, looking over to hurt I saw her bleeding heavily, coarsely I called out to her, "Amelia, my queen." I said in a weak voice. She then began looking over to me and then spoke.

"I'm sorry my king, I don't think we're getting out of this." she said with a sad smile.

Like hell we were going to get out of the crash, I slowly started to notice another pair of sirens approaching.

"I'm sorry my queen, I was never able to give you a happy live." I said slowly coughing up blood and being to feel like I had just stepped into negative 50 weather.

[Cold Resistance acquired]

"You gave me the best life I could have lived with you dear. My only wish is that we could stay together into the next world," she said and I responded in turn, "If only my dear."

[Royal Bond acquired]

We slowly began to fade as I began hearing people yelling just outside the wreck. I began thinking to myself, 'I I always wondered how we could fly like the Raths, so bad we'll never see them again.'

As I slowly faded to black I heard a voice.

[Dual Reincarnation initiated, Rathian and Rathalos. Souls coming from deceased humans Ryan, and Amelia. Beginning reincarnation]

I slowly began to open my eyes to a cave? I then noticed a weight on my arm? Or at least I think it is my arm it felt different. Slowy I turned my head to the weight and what I saw was amazing.

I let out a sound that a human shouldn't be able to chirp? Whatever it was it woke up the chick and she had a similar reaction to me recoiling back and onto her feet only to then stumble backwards letting out an "Ow" like the ones that I've heard so many times before.

"Amelia?" I yelled out and she then looked over to me and responded with a "Ryan!" She yelled out.

She then charged at me, giving me a hug and nuzzling onto me.

Slowly we got up and began walking around and talking about where we were Amelia pointed out that I was a Rathalos chick!

After realizing that somehow we ended up as baby Raths we celebrated quickly but quickly we also realized that we were still in a cave. So we began to wander eventually stumbling across a field of flowers. Taking a quick break and laying down on each other I eventually heard something moving though the field and my new instincts began amping up. Waking up Amelia she also got into a battle stance.

However we dropped them when a small blue slime rolled in front of us. Though it didn't seem to notice us and began to go somewhere else. And through a look me and Amelia began following it.

And slowly we noticed that the farther we went into the cave the more dense the glowing rocks and flowers became with the slime 'eating' some before going further in until we heard a voice.

"Can you hear me little ones." Came a deep voice. The slime also noticed it and jumped backwards onto Amelia's head where she then pushed it off with her wing, letting out a squeak.

But looking over to where the voice came from we saw something that'd make even Fatalis run.

A giant black dragon!

Now obviously after freaking out for a second we then heard a second voice.

"Who was that!" Realizing that it was neither of us or the big dragon in front of us, we concluded that it was the slime.

"Since when could you talk?" Amelia said somehow without opening her mouth.

At this the slime began freaking out before the dragon began talking again.

"It's been so long since I've had visitors here." He said in a tired voice. And seeing that while we could see him the slime could not leading to him teaching the slime on how to see.

Seeing the slimes reaction was like 'watching a little kid coming into the library for the first time' as Amelia had described it to me before.

Now looking towards us the Dragon spoke, "Now what are two young Wyvern chicks like you doing in my cave?" He spoke.

Quickly thinking of a response, Amelia talked, "last thing the two of us remember happening was getting a car crash."

When she had said that the slime looked over to us and recoiled back again as it had done when it saw the Dragon. After it recovered it asked a question, "Wait you two know what cars are?" It asked.

Me and Amelia traded a look to eachother, I then spoke, "Yeah I was a cook in one of the best restaurants in town. And she was a librarian in the town library." I said.

I heard a quiet, "A librarian? She must have had been beautiful." Hearing that come out of the slime I quickly walked over to it and put by talons on it.

"I'd refrain from making comments like that infront of her fiancé." I said in a low measured voice.

With a huff from the dragon he got our attention again, "Now let's not go and kill each other." He said. Slowly I backed off the slime and going over to Amelia to nuzzle into her a little, which she returned. After that we looked back over to the dragon, who began a speil over the world we now found ourselves in.

We also learned that the slime was also from earth. Japan specifically while me and Amelia lived in the Midwest United States. Apparently he got stabbed and died by protecting a co-worker.

After a little bit of talk the dragon finally introduced himself, "I am Veldora, The Storm Dragon!"

Al that happened in my head was a Kushala flying by.

The slime tried to introduce himself but was able to, nor were we. Somehow we were able to say eachother's names to eachother but not Veldora of the slime.

[That is an affect of your unique skill Royal Bond my lord] said a voice in my head and it was different to Veldora or the slime's voice. Worrying about it later Veldora explained that to our new life the importance of a name is far more important to monsters.

Extra power, evolution, and such. Eventually Veldora began to explain why he was here.

"I was sealed here 300 years ago by a hero." He explained, the slime asked why though and he brushed it off with, "So I destroyed a few cities so what." He said a nonchalant tone of voice.

He then said that he'd likely die within the next 100 years, all alone. The slime however had a different idea.

"Why don't I be your friend?" It asked hopping around. The look on Veldora's face was amazing. The slime and Veldora then touched through the [Unlimited Imprisonment] barrier. Over the next few minutes we talked. Until the slime had an idea on how to get Veldora free.

"Why don't I eat the barrier so it can be undone quicker?" Veldora though of the idea and gave the slime the green light to do so but stopped it before it could eat the barrier.

"Why don't I give you three names?" Quickly the slime replied with a 'Sure!' As for me and Amelia we shared another look and nodded.

"We'll take that deal." We said as we walked toward the barrier.

Putting his claw to his jaw he pointed to the slime, "How about Rimiru?" Veldora asked and the slime began to glow gold before the glow stopped and Rimiru uttered under his breath "Rimiru."

Then Veldora turned his head towards me and my dear, he first pointed to Amelia, "Your name shall be, Flora." She also quickly glowed golden with the out edge of her scales gaining a slight purple hue to them.

He then turned towards me, then spoke, "As for you," he pondered for a second, "How does Grim sound?" I was also quickly washed over in a golden glow.

I felt the heat within begin to burn hotter and I noticed the outer edge of my scales turned into a dark maroon color. And the voice form earlier spoke again.

[Lord and Lady registered: Lord Grim and Lady Flora]

But again before the slime devoured the barrier Veldora requested a family name. He explained that while not making us truest related it would have us be 'kin' and as such more powerful.

Rimiru eventually came to the name, 'Tempest' due to Veldora being the Storm dragon. So the now crisened Veldora Tempest roared in excitement.

After that the three of us, now Rimiru, Grim, and Flora Tempest began to leave the cave after Rimiru devoured the barrier and Veldora.
