Well, this is my take on what might have happened after the main storyline. If you like the story, feel free to leave a review and don't be afraid to favorite or follow! Now, let's get on with the show.

Chapter 1: After the Concert
"Sweet cheese and crackers, that was so fun!"
"Glad you had a good time, Carrots. It was hard to get those tickets!"
Nick and Judy were walking towards the parking lot while holding paws and chatting amongst themselves. The fox couldn't take the grin off his face as he eyed his partner closely, seeing the rabbit jump up and down as they walked to their car. He was glad that Judy had such a good time at the concert, and he had to admit: he had more fun than he thought he would. He wasn't that much of a Gazelle fan, but after attending the concert with his partner Judy and unexpectedly having a great time, Gazelle's music surely grew on him.
"So after tonight, I guess you became a Gazelle fan, Nick," Judy teased her partner with a wink. "I mean, come on... everyone loves Gazelle!"
"Yep, they sure do," Nick said, giving Judy his casual smirk. "She's definitely my favorite singer now."
"See? I knew you'd really appreciate her!"
"Well, yeah! I mean, of course." Nick chuckled and opened the car door for his partner, who hopped in and sat behind the wheel. "Hey, Carrots," he said, getting her attention.
"Yeah?" the rabbit asked, one eyebrow raised.
"Can I drive this time?" he asked. "You've been the one in the driver's seat all day. Let me have a turn at taking the wheel."
"I'll think about it," Judy replied with a smirk. "Since you've been a great partner today, maybe I'll let you drive for once."
Nick grinned. "When?"
"Tomorrow, Slick." Judy giggled and patted the seat next to hers, telling him to get in the car. "Now hop in," she said. "We have a big day tomorrow, and I'd like to get home."
"Good idea," said Nick, walking around to the other side of the car and sitting down in the passenger's seat. "Step on it, Fluff. Traffic's light at the moment, but it won't be for much longer."
Judy rolled her eyes and turned on the car, backing it out of the parking lot and pulling out into the empty street. Nick glanced over at the rabbit and smiled, impressed that his partner had excellent driving skills. There was something about Judy that made her seem quite irresistible to the fox, like he couldn't take his eyes off of her every single time they were together. He didn't want to admit it, but he had a huge crush on the rabbit cop, especially before they met outside the giant ice cream shop. The moment they met, he fell in love, but did she feel the same way as him?
There was only one way to find out.
Taking a deep breath, Nick took the plunge. The car screeched to a halt, meaning that they approached a red light. Perfect. Now was the time to talk.
"Judy," he said, gently tapping his partner on the shoulder.
"Yeah?" she asked, glancing over at him with a curious look.
"I uh, need to tell you something." The fox took a deep breath before speaking again. "You said you love me, right?"
"Yes," Judy replied, blinking in confusion. "Is something wrong, Nick?"
"No. Nothing's wrong." He cleared his throat. "When you said you love me," he began. "...did you mean it in a friendly way or in a, uh, romantic way?"
Judy blushed. Did she love him? Yes. Yes, she did. Did she love him in that sort of way though? She didn't want to admit it, but she did love him in that way. She loved him more than just a partner, or in this case, a friend. She just wasn't sure that he felt the same way as her, but little did she know that he exactly felt the same way.
"Nick," she said. "I'm happy you asked me that question, and you're right about something. When I said I love you, I did mean it in a romantic kind of way. I just didn't know you felt the same way."
"Me too," he said, smiling as he gazed into her eyes. "I was worried, Carrots."
"Same here. But now, we don't have to question anything." She moved in for a kiss, but the light turned green before she could press her lips against his. "Dammit," she muttered before stepping on the gas. "Curse you, green light. Way to ruin a moment."
Nick couldn't help but laugh at his partner. Judy was absolutely hilarious. She really knew how to make him chuckle, and he knew exactly how to make her happy.
"Where is your apartment, Fluff?" the fox asked, looking around from inside the car.
"Up ahead," Judy replied, chuckling softly. "I think you're really going to love where I live."
"Oh, am I now?" Nick asked, leaning in close. "This apartment of yours better be good."
"Oh trust me... it's more than good." The rabbit pulled into the parking lot of the apartment complex and got out of the car, walking around to the other side and opening the door for Nick. "Prepare to have your mind blown," she teased as she allowed him to get out of the car.
"Why would I do that? Last time I checked, I blew your mi- oh, sweet cheese and crackers!"
Judy giggled at her partner's shocked expression. "Surprise," she said, holding his paw.
"You live here?" Nick asked, a wide grin spreading across his face.
"Yup," she replied. "Turns out I'm a token bunny after all. Ever been to the Zootropes, Nick?"
"Not once in my life, but... wow!" The fox couldn't contain his amusement as he stared up at the elegant looking buildings. "How did you manage to afford this?" he asked, curious.
"A sly bunny never reveals her secrets," Judy replied with a smirk. "Now come on. It's late and we need our energy in the morning."
The pair walked into the lobby and were greeted by a snow white bunny with black tipped ears behind a desk, typing on a computer. The doe looked up from her screen and smiled when she recognized the gray rabbit immediately.
"Judy! Welcome back!" she greeted her as she watched the fox and rabbit approach the front desk with polite expressions on their faces.
"Hey, Chase," Judy greeted the white doe with a casual smile. "This is my partner Nick Wilde. He's going to move in with me."
Chase nodded and handed the vulpine a packet of papers for him to read and sign his name along with a key to Judy's apartment. "Welcome to the Zootropes, Mr. Wilde," she said. "I hope you enjoy your time here! Keep Judy out of trouble."
"Chase!" Judy shouted but couldn't help but laugh too.
"Thank you, ma'am," said Nick as he signed the papers and took the key from the white rabbit. "I will."
He held Judy's paw and they walked hand in hand to the elevator. "So... you're looking for a roommate?" he asked with a smirk.
"Hehe... surprise again," she replied, looking down at her feet.
"Well, well... why didn't you just say so?" The fox chuckled and stood close to his partner as they rode the elevator to the top floor.
"I just did?" Judy asked, blushing as he stared at him. "I mean, if you don't want to, that's fine, but-"
"I'm gonna hit the pause button right there," he said, interrupting her. "Judy, I'd love to live with you."
"Glad to know we're on the same page, Slick." Judy stood on her tiptoes and pressed her lips against his, taking him by surprise. Slowly, the fox wrapped his arms around her small body as they continued their sweet but passionate kiss.
"Whoa," he gasped after they pulled away. "Didn't see that one coming, Fluff."
Judy winked at him before whispering in his ear. "It's called a hustle, sweetheart."
The elevator dinged, letting the pair know that they've reached their destination. Without letting go of either paw, they walked across the hall to Judy's apartment and unlocked the door, stepping inside before quickly resuming their passionate encounter.
Slowly, the door closed behind them, and they pulled away, staring into each other's eyes. They wanted to go all the way, but it all seemed to be coming too fast, so they shrugged it off and decided to get ready for bed instead. The time for taking their newly found relationship to the next level would come, but it would be a while. After all, the start of a happy relationship between a fox and a rabbit was only the beginning.
3:00 AM
The sound of Judy's phone ringing caused the gray doe to let out a groan. She sat up in her bed, yawning before reaching over to grab her phone, frowning at the contact. Why was Chief Bogo calling her so early in the morning? Whatever the reason was, it had to be important.
"Yes, Sir?" she said, answering the phone.
"Hopps, I'm sorry for disturbing you this early," the chief said before taking a deep breath. "But I unfortunately have some bad news to tell you."
"What is it?" she asked, wondering what was wrong.
"It's about Gazelle. We've received reports that she was found dead a few hours ago, and we suspect that the cause of Gazelle's death... was murder."
Judy gasped, her phone slipping out of her paw's grasp as she sat on her bed, completely frozen. She could hear Bogo's concerned voice over the phone as she sat there, completely paralyzed and shocked at what she had just heard.
"Hopps? Hopps! Are you there?"
A/N: Well that ended on a cliffhanger, but I know you guys always want more.
