At the end of the week, it was time to go home from the Super Summer Hero Camp.

"Well, we did it, Titans." Nightwing concluded. "We made it through the whole week. We got to canoe as pirates, we got to play baseball, and we had a fun campfire presentation. Now there's just one more thing in order." The Titans turned towards Bumblebee, who suddenly became awkward.

"Well, I guess I'll be going. I mean, I can't exactly go back to Steel City. It would just be awkward to just go back and act like a solo hero in front of my former teammates."

"Why not stay with us?" Jinx suggested. "You'd make a great seventh titan, even if for a little while if you're still not sure."

"Really?! You'd let me bunk with you guys?!" Karen gasped.

"Yeah, girl!" Beast grinned. "You don't have no plans, right?!"

"Not really. Okay, I can stay for a while! At least until I can decide on what to do with my life. Thank you guys! I'll go get my things!

The Teen Titans returned to the Tower, with Bumblebee taking a look around the place behind Cyborg.

"Welcome home, roomie!" Cyborg let her into the living room. Bumblebee flew over the couch.

"I still can't believe I'll be living here for the time being! Aw, cute cactus and plants, cute plushies, cute everything!" The girl giggled. "I just hope I can fit in with you guys."

"You will." Nightwing assured her. "You've always been a Teen Titan. It's just that you're on a different team."

"Right." Bumblebee shifted her eyes nervously. "I just don't want to feel under-appreciated like I was with East. I'm fully refreshed from my burnout, so so long as I'm treated right, I'll be okay."

"You wills, Bumbles." Beast spoke up. "I secretly got you this gift! A black and yellow towel with your initials!"

"Classic." Raven smiled as Bumblebee took the gift.

"Oh, thanks Beast!"

"I very much believe that you will enjoy it here, Friend Bumblebee!" Starfire cheered. "Group hug!" She hugged her fellow heroine, which the other Titans didn't get into because Karen looked like she was getting mildly crushed.

"Ow, let go Star!" Bumblebee cried out, to which the Tamaranean let go. "Sheesh, you need to be careful with those hugs! Bear hugs aren't as suffocating as you!" Starfire gasped with a hurt expression.

"Bumblebee!" Nightwing told her off.

"Look, I'm sorry, but she was really getting into my personal space crushing my ribs. I'm sure I'll love it here, I just need my space."

"My apologies." Starfire said sadly.

"It's cool, girl. Just don't hug so hard next time. And ask if I'd like one first. I want to be easy to get along with." Cyborg shifted his good eye, remembering when they teamed up the first time. "So, where's my room?"

"Oh, we don't have a free room available at the moment." Jinx told her. "But you can share my room. Raven doesn't do roommates and Starfire is all about that pink."

"Oh, sure. I don't mind sharing a room. How about we watch a movie?"

"Better not be Bee Movie." Raven groaned. "I don't want to see a movie with insectoid bestiality."

"Oh yeah, same." Karen laughed. Suddenly, the crime alert went off, and Nightwing checked on the command console.

"Titans, it's the Brain. According to this intel, he built another robot body to destroy us. But this time, he's pulling out the big guns. Promethium battle armor-"

"Wait, you mean the promethium that makes up my cyborg body?" Victor interrupted his leader.

"Yes. It also has diamond tipped razor claws, and nuclear powered plasma cannons."

"Man, that sounds like one souped up and expensive machine." Bumblebee whistled. "How are we supposed to destroy that thing?"

"Magic?" Raven shrugged. Nightwing shook his head.

"Maybe, but since this is the Brain's most dangerous attempt yet against us, he might have a secret counter against magic. Luckily, we have something he won't be accounting for."

"What's that?" Garfield asked.

"Bumblebee. She can shrink between the atoms, and take the Brain out from the inside out." Bumblebee seemed skeptical to the Titan leader.

"Excuse me? Do I look like The Atom? I may be able to shrink, but I've only ever shrunken down as small as a bee. I never had to shrink down to micro sizes."

"I'm sure you can do it. This will be imperative to the mission."

"Dude, he's here!" Beast shouted as they saw a news report on the tv, of a 50 foot tall mecha was walking through Jump City, heading towards Titans Tower.

"Come on out, Titans!" Brain called out through speakers. "I am through with losing against your youthful resilience! I have come prepared to face the might of the Justice League itself! I will have my revenge!"

"This is it! Titans, GO!" Raven teleported the team into Jump City, to face this giant threat.

"There you are." Brain cackled as he tried to step on the Titans underfoot, but Raven created a forcefield with her soul-self which took the blow. Brain grunted in annoyance as he punched against the shield twice with greater strength, only for Raven to hold it up, though struggled a bit more at the street caved below them. What caused the half-demon sorceress's eyes to widen is when Brain leapt up, and crashed his 6,000 ton mecha onto the shield, breaking Raven's concentration as her shield shattered, and the heroes ducked into the street's indent to not be crushed. Raven fainted from the over exertion, leading to Beast becoming worried for her.

"Raven?!" He asked worriedly. The Brain laughed as he tried to crush them again with a punch, but Starfire caught the fist, holding the heavy weight over them. She appeared to be having great difficulty though, given her legs were shaking, and her shoes became ruined as her feet were pushed deeper into the street.

"Friends, spread out!" She pleaded, causing all of them to run for it, Garfield and Victor carrying the unconscious Raven away, who was slowly waking up. Starfire felt relief when the hand let up, only to yell in pain as she was swiped by Brain's diamond tipped razor claws, slicing through her athletic clothes easily, drawing lines of blood across her limbs and back, and cut her hair into segments, ultimately leaving the Tamaranean with shoulder length hair. With the same swipe, Starfire was flung into an office building, ricocheting between the ceiling and floor while smashing through the office desks in there. Once Starfire recovered from the attack, she noticed the lack of hair going down the majority of her body, and became really mad as her eyes glowed green. "My hair!" The warrior princess screamed in rage. The Brain peaked in the building, only to get punched down by the flying alien powerhouse, crashing onto his giant armored butt, rocking the street. The protective glass dome protecting Brain was strong enough to withstand armor piercing helicopter rounds and tank shells, but Starfire was able to crack it regardless.

"Typical females and their hair." Brain grumbled as he tried to get up, but Nightwing came in, throwing freezing ammunition disks to freeze the joints of his left shoulder and hip. "Worthless." Prepping one of his nuclear powered plasma cannons, he tried firing at the Titan leader, but he was able to get away with a grappling line. Beast tried to turn into a T-Rex while Cyborg shot at the Brain with his sonic cannons and missiles, but those did relatively little damage as Brain slapped Garfield away, leaving bleeding green lines across the dinosaur's face as he crashed into a building, accidentally hitting Victor with his tail. The Brain picked up Cyborg, and started to put the squeeze on his, making the mechanical titan increasingly uncomfortable as he yelled for help. "I'll crush you like a tin can." He didn't get the chance though as Beast swiped his tail against the villain's arm, forcing him to drop Cyborg. "Pesky reptile." Brain grabbed the long tail, and sliced his fingers through it, cutting off Beast's T-Rex tail with a large splatter of green blood and muscles. The shapeshifter roared in pain as he tried biting down on the glass dome over, but it was too wide to get a solid bite in, allowing the Brain to punch him away. To get away, Beast turned into a cheetah, recovering from his serious injury as he ran between the mecha's legs, and gaining some distance. The Brain tried to kill Beast by blasting him with the plasma cannons, but the speedy Titan was too quick.

"Jinx, take out the cannon!" Nightwing ordered. The female metahuman looked around, and saw a manhole cover. Snapping her fingers at it, an explosive of sewage caused the cover to fly, and destroy the cannon in a radioactive explosion.

"Fools, did you think that I haven't come prepared if my mini-cannon was destroyed?" From his right forearm, a much bigger radioactive plasma cannon came from it, and he aimed it at Jinx who tried to run. He fired, and it made a giant explosion where she was. The villain began cackling, before Jinx taunted from elsewhere,

"Haha, you missed me!" The Brain turned to see Raven and Jinx standing behind him. Using their magics combined, they made the street roll up like a carpet, becoming significantly bigger as they tried to crush him under the weight of the street.

"Ahhhhh!" The villain yelled as he dug his claws into the incoming street, being pushed back a bit, but it wasn't enough as he fires his plasma cannon through the rolled up street, and would've vaporized the two girls as she teleported them away. Starfire used her strength and speed to kick his left knee out, forcing the villain down a knee. The Tamaranean then pushed the Brain through the air until he collided with a building, leaving a deep imprint on the side. Brain retaliated by backhanding the alien princess away, causing her to plow through the streets, but she got up more ticked off than hurt, her clothes becoming more damaged than herself. Going over and ripping a lamp post out of the ground, she then swung it so hard as to cause the Brain's mecha armor to flip over, surprising the villain as she got under him, and yelled as she fired a concentrated starbolt blast from her hands and eyes, sending the Brain into the air.

"You fool!" He yelled as he tried blasting her with a radioactive plasma blast, but she was able to fly around it, and flew above him where she prepared a punch.

"This is for my hair you body-less villain!" Starfire yelled as she pushed Brain's armor back down to Earth with a punch, the villain yelling as they smashed into the building, crashing through five stories before the entire building collapsed over them. The rest of the Teen Titans were panting, watching the carnage as the felled building exploded with plasma energy, and Starfire flew back as she painfully skidded across the ground, her clothes ripped and burnt, and was showing some bad burns.

"Owwww. This... opponent is... most formidable. I can't... break through." Starfire groaned as Richard helped her up.

"He's too tough on the outside." Nightwing shook his head. "I only hope Bumblebee can stop him on the inside fast enough." He said as he watched the Brain stand up from the wreckage.

"Then let's not beat it." Raven suggested. "We just need to distract it." Morphing into her raven shaped soul-self, she straight like a raven before flying towards the giant mecha, and enveloped herself over the glass dome protecting the villain, interfering with his ability to see anything, like he was completely in the dark.

"Get off you demonic scum!" Brain yelled as he tried ripping the soul off his body, but it was resisting like he was trying to pull off rubber.

"Cyborg, Jinx, disrupt his footing. I'll help Raven from above." Nightwing told the two as he used a grappling line to get up high. Deciding he had enough, Brain activated an electrical charge across the outer armor of his mecha suit, shocking Raven off as she yelled from pain, turning back into herself. Nightwing came in and caught her just as she was going to be clawed to pieces. Reaching a nearby rooftop, Nightwing threw some wing dings at the cracked glass of the villain's dome, and activated them with a button. They produced a high pitched, super sonic frequency which was hurting the Brain, and cracking the glass further.

"Ahhhh! He swatted at the wing dings, trying to break them while Cyborg ran up to the mecha suit, and gave a strong yell as he slammed his sonic cannon into the ground, which both broke the ground up further, and sent dust and shrapnel at the glass, obscuring the Brain's vision again. Jinx placed her hands on the ground, and pumped it with her hex magic, causing the street and sewers underneath the giant robot to crumble, and force the villain into a sinkhole.

"Got him!" The former villainess cheered, but frowned when the Brain just started to randomly fire his laser all over, blasting through buildings and causing wide spread destruction, damaging Jump City's skyline.

"I will not fall so easily!"

"Fool's trying to destroy everything!" Beast gasped. Cyborg shook his head.

"If he can't beat us, he's going to take Jump City down with him."

"We need to... limit his ability to fire." Starfire observed.

"Raven, are there any people in the buildings next to the Brain?" Nightwing asked Raven through his communicator.

"Yes, I can sense their fear, but it's because of that that but there's too many of them trying to escape all at once to evacuate efficiently."

"Teleport them out, and bury him." Raven sweated at such an order, but nodded as she floated into a lotus position, trying to concentrate.

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" With her eyes glowing white, Raven teleported every civilian in the near vicinity out somewhere safe, before letting her soul-self fly out, its wings sharpened as it cleaved through the buildings to the sides of the Brain. The villain gasped as it saw the two buildings start to collapse onto him, and fired his plasma cannon straight up to reduce the amount of brick and steel falling on him, caught in another point blank explosion. As the Brain tried climbing out of the sinkhole, a latch was busted open as Bumblebee flew in, smirking as she popped her knuckles.

"Bumblebee? How did you get in? And what are you doing with these Titans? Don't you have your team in Steel City?" Despite his monotone voice, there was still evident surprise.

"Exhaust vent. They don't need me. And I don't need to them to take down a brain in a jar."

"You'll find you're fighting more than just a jar." Doors opened up underneath the villain as another mech suit was attached to him, ready to fight. Bumblebee fired her stingers at him, the energy projectiles bouncing off like small bullets while he tried to blast her. Karen shrunk down to avoid the blasts, and flew close to his head before growing to kick his head, forcing the villain down. He tried kicking at her, but the female titan jumped over his leg, and fired more stingers. However, he was able to backhand her hard enough to smack into the glass, making her wince in pain. "You think you can just defeat me? Your shrinking powers and little stingers are no match for my supreme intellect and power."

"Maybe... but I didn't head straight for you when I came in here." She smirked, to his confusion.

"What do you-?" The two jerked as explosions inside the mecha did damage to its internal structure, causing it to buckle and malfunction. "No!"

"Yeah, planted some bombs throughout the thing." Karen chuckled. "I just needed to distract you so you wouldn't notice before they explode."

"No! I will not lose to you heroes again!" The villain yelled as he input a code into his suit, and everything started glowing red.

"What did you do?!"

"You Titans have beaten me too many times. If I have to lose this time, I won't go out alone. Within this giant armor is a 15 Megaton bomb, similar to when I tried to wipe you heroes out before when I was frozen. But I won't just wipe the chessboard clean, I'm destroying it, and everything within a 30 mile radius." Bumblebee paled. "It's set to self-destruct in less than half a minute. There's no way you'll save Jump City in time."

"Nightwing, he's going to blow up the city with a nuke!" Bumblebee yelled into her communicator.

"Titans, GO!" The Titan leader shouted as he threw all of his ice disks at the glass dome, freezing it over. Cyborg came in, and smashed it with a sonic cannon punch. Brain tried to attack, but was blasted away by a hex to the face since Jinx was riding on top of Cyborg. Raven was able to open a portal over the Brain's mecha, where he tried to escape, but all the debris trapped him as the portal sucked it all up into an infinite black void, where there was nothing around.

"Hmm. Checkmate." The Brain said, before being caught in his explosion, dying alone where the mighty, powerful explosion meant nothing. All of the Teen Titans were panting, too tired and drained to celebrate. Raven looked at Starfire, and asked,

"You want me to heal you?"

"Yea please." The Tamaranean let Raven put her hands on her body, the Sorceress's hands glowing blue as she healed the burn marks and cuts. But she gasped as she took on the pain too, and collapsed into Beast and Jinx's arms. They were worried for her, among other things.

While the Titans were able to be ultimately healed, including Starfire's hair being restored thanks to Raven, the damage from the Brain was devastating. Raven was too weak to immediately help with reconstruction, and while a villain attack normally had small casualties which are minimized as best as they can in thanks to the Teen Titans' efforts, over 3,750 died from this last fight with the Brain, their most impactful loss of failing to protect the citizens of Jump City, even with having saved almost a million more. This just goes to show even for one of the greatest superhero teams in the whole world, they can still experience victories with no satisfactory end.
