Chapter 9
authors note : As always readers. Thank you. Stay tuned.
That's kinda harsh.
It's a harsh world.
My childhood home was torn down. Mouth told me when we caught up. For lunch. He reported on it.
According to what i was told. It was originally going to remain untouched and abandoned. But people expressed the want and desire for it to be torn down. They complained and in the end it was destroyed.
Maybe it was a good thing. The positive memories i would always hold on too. But in a way it would of remained a reminder for me and all i'm trying to do is rebuild my life and move on.
I found my way to the autobody shop. It hadn't been used in a long time. The last car Keith had been working on was his own. And he was going to give it to me but that never happened.
Lucas took the sheet off the car and went towards the driver's side door. He attempted to open the door and was surprised to find it unlocked. He sat down inside. And taken aback at the sight of keys in the engine.
Even more so the sight of signed adoption papers. Took him off guard. He knew they from Keith. He couldn't look at them.
Instead he started to turn on the car and it began to run.
Lucas swallowed hard. Feeling tears well up in his eyes.

"We missed you daddy." Lydia exclaimed.
"Can we go camping.?" Jamie asked.
"We can do anything the two of you want."
"I've missed the both of you more then anything." Nathan said.
"Let's get home and reunite as a family." Nathan added in.
When Nathan and the kids got home. Haley wasn't there.

The Rivercourt
Brooke watched on the seating area. As Jasper and Munroe played basketball together.
It was nothing but a dark sky. Lights. The court. And the innonce of bond/innonce of brothers. The love of a game they shared.
Lucas watched on a bleacher nearby.
He was beginning to wonder if coming back to Tree Hill was a mistake.
