FADE IN:

EXT. AVENGERS BASE - DAY

We open on the exterior of the Avengers base, a high-tech facility that houses the world's mightiest heroes.

INT. AVENGERS BASE - DAY

We cut to the inside of the base, where a figure dressed in a red cape and hooded mask is walking through the hallways. The figure is James, aka Cloak. He is on his way to meet up with the Scarlet Witch, a powerful ally and his girlfriend and a member of the Avengers.

EXT. SCARLET WITCH'S CHAMBERS - DAY

James arrives at the Scarlet Witch's chambers. He knocks on the door, and after a few moments, she opens it.

SCARLET WITCH

(smiling)

James! What a pleasant surprise. Come in.

INT. SCARLET WITCH'S CHAMBERS - DAY

James enters the room and the Scarlet Witch closes the door behind him.

JAMES

(smiling)

Hi there. I wanted to catch up and see how you're doing.

SCARLET WITCH

(smiling)

I'm doing well. How about you?

JAMES

(smiling)

I'm doing great. I wanted to ask you something.

The Scarlet Witch looks at James with curiosity.

JACK (CONT'D)

I was wondering how he ended up as Cloak.

The Scarlet Witch smiles and takes a seat on her couch.

SCARLET WITCH

Well, he went on a mission with U.N.I.T to Egypt, and he picked up a dagger. As soon as you touched it, he became Cloak and I used my powers to protect you.

James smiles at the Scarlet Witch.

Jack

That's incredible.

He pauses for a moment.

JAMES (CONT'D)

What about Natasha? Where is she?

SCARLET WITCH

She's on a mission somewhere.

James nods, and the Scarlet Witch stands up.

SCARLET WITCH (CONT'D)

It was nice catching up with you, James. I admire your abilities.

She moves towards the door and James follows her.

Jack

It was nice catching up with you too.

The Scarlet Witch opens the door and James steps out.

SCARLET WITCH

Take care of yourself, Jack

Jack smiles and waves at the Scarlet Witch before heading down the hallway.

EXT. AVENGERS BASE - DAY

We cut to the exterior of the base, where James is seen walking out with his dad. They pause for a moment and James turns back towards the base.

JACK

(smiling)

Goodbye, Scarlet Witch.

We cut to the Scarlet Witch, who is standing in the doorway and waving goodbye.

CUT TO:

EXT. TARDIS - DAY

We cut to the exterior of the Tardis, the time machine used by the Doctor to travel through time. James and his dad get inside the Tardis and the Doctor takes off, flying back to the home planet of Spartax.
