Ace walks into her building hoping Nyssa wouldn't see her. "Aunt A, what are you doing here?"
"I promise to take it easy, Neeka, I can't sit at home and do nothing. There hasn't been a day since I got back to Earth that I just sat around and did nothing."
"Didn't you tell us last night the doctor told you and Adric to take it easy."
"I will be, I will be sitting in my office looking over papers."
"What if Graham wants to have lunch with you and thinks you are at home."
"He knows me well enough that I won't be at home," Ace enters her office hoping she is right about Graham knowing her that well and smiles knowing that she will try and spend some of their lunch break kissing him. Not long after she settles down in her chair her door opens.
"What are you doing here Dorothy?" Her best friend and business partner asks.
"My christian name, you must not be happy with me Nyssa."
"You should be at home resting."
"When have you ever seen me sit around and do nothing?"
Nyssa gets a smile, "it seems whenever Graham is around what you do is sit and talk with him."
"I like talking to the man," Ace smiles thinking of last night and how little talking they did.
"What is that smile for?"
"After we were done being interrupted for the night from a visit from Liam we finally kissed."
Nyssa sat on the chair across from Ace, "you two hadn't kissed yet?"
"It felt like every chance we almost did we kept getting interrupted, mostly by your family."
"You should've told us to leave."
"The moment was ruined anyway."
"How was it?"
"It was great."
"How did it feel?"
"That is the same thing Nyssa."
"Not really."
"It felt right, we ended up making out on the couch for what turned out to be a half-hour."
"What happened?"
"When we stopped his phone was going off, he missed 20 calls from Yaz and Ryan." Nyssa laughs, "what?"
"Just the two of you finally kissed and after neither of you heard a phone going off that long."
"We were enjoying each other."
"Really enjoying each other from the sounds of it."
Laughing, "oi shove it."
"Just wait until Tegan hears about this."
"Oh great, get her showing up at my place grilling me."
"We probably won't be coming by for a while, we need to get to know Adric again."
"I am happy that you guys are talking now."
"We have you to thank for that."
"You are a family, and never had a bad relationship like I did with my mum."
"Now look at you with your brother and a growing relationship with Graham."
"It is great, isn't it?"
"You are very happy."
"Have you ever known me not to be happy?"
"No, I haven't, but now is a different kind of happiness."
"It is, I don't know how to explain it."
"I do, but you are not ready to hear it."
"What do you mean Nyssa?" Nyssa walks out laughing knowing the feelings Ace has for Graham are deeper then Ace herself realizes. She has seen her in a few relationships and how she looks at Graham is different. Ace watches her friend as she leaves the office.
Putting on her glasses, Ace looks over emails for the next few hours before she knows there is a knock on the door. "Come in."
The door opens and she looks up to see a face that she likes, "hello."
Ace gets up and meets Graham halfway they share a small kiss, "I like you in your glasses. Though I always like you."
"That's good, I like you too."
"I have food," Graham brings his arm that was around her showing the take out bag.
"I thought I felt something behind my back poking me. I would think something poking me when we are in an embrace would be coming from the front." Graham starts to blush at the innuendo.
"I am surprised you didn't get poked last night."
With an eyebrow rising, "I did feel something, but knew nothing more would happen last night. You wanted to make sure I was relaxing as much as possible."
"I am sorry that I didn't help you relax."
"That is where you are wrong, you helped me relax, what you had was a normal reaction."
"I know, I should be able to control it."
"Your mind was on me, and I was on top of you, your hands moving around my back under my shirt."
"Ace."
"What?!"
"Please."
"You liked the feel of my back that much," she takes the bag from him and sets it on her desk and walks back to Graham.
"And the feel of your lips on mine."
"One of those can be arranged," Ace wraps her arms around his neck, raises on her feet a little bit and brings her lips to Graham's. They both hum into the kiss and their eyes close. Graham's arms wrap tightly around Ace. They stay there, their lips locking tongues mixing. When they need to breathe they stop kissing, they touch their foreheads and smile. "I knew that you knew I would be here today."
"I knew you wouldn't be able to stay at home."
"How did you know that?"
"The short time I have known you, you are someone when she has work to get done, you have to be doing it."
"Now, I have to eat."
"Let's dine my Dear." Graham pulls out the containers and hands a fork to Ace. "How was the rest of your night?"
"My shoulder started to be sore, so I rubbed it and my Doctor showed up," Ace adds with an eye roll.
"So the Doctor popped up for two of you last night?"
"It seems so, speaking of that, how is Yaz doing?"
"When she started teasing Ryan and I she started to feel better."
"I'm glad that she is doing better."
"Me too." They go back to eating, they both see the last spring roll, "you can have it."
"Let's share it," Ace says acting like she is going to cut it in half before putting half of it in her mouth and motioning Graham forward to her and he does biting the other half off, he backs of chewing it real quick and leans forward it again and touches his lips to hers in a gentle kiss that turns passionate quickly.
Forgetting to knock on the door as she is still getting used to the fact her aunt is in a passionate new relationship with someone who is getting to know both sides of her. Neeka walks back out running into Nyssa. "What's with that face?"
"Aunt Ace is making out with Graham."
"You haven't seen her like this have you?"
"I have seen her with maybe one girlfriend in the past, but nothing is like how she is with Graham."
"She has never been this deep with someone."
"Deep?"
"Come on, let's go to my office, and I will tell you more." They move on to Nyssa's office, "want some tea?"
"Mum, what do you mean she is in deep?"
"Your aunt is in love."
"Anyone who sees them together can tell that."
"While your aunt has loved before, she hasn't fallen for someone as quickly as she has for Graham."
"Ever?"
"As long as your mum and I have known her."
"I am glad she met him then."
"We are too."
"I don't remember Mum saying much about Graham when they first met."
"Because we fought that night due to her telling me about encountering Cyberman and not only being shot at by them, but grabbed by one."
"I left the house at that point."
"You did, and after we stopped fighting she told me that Ace met someone and started flirting with him and he was flirting back."
"So it was instant between them?"
"From what it seems it was. Now you go do something, I will break the kiss up." Nyssa gets up and walks to her friend's office and knocks on the door.
"Go away I am busy," a muffled voice of Ace is heard.
Nyssa enters the office, "detach your lips."
Graham and Ace kiss breaks with a sounding pop, "Nyssa I was busy taking it easy."
"Do you really want me to make a joke with that?"
"No."
"Good, so you know Neeka did see the two of you locking lips."
"We weren't doing anything appropriate."
"I know, she just has never seen you like this, plus Graham's lunch break must be ending soon." Graham looks at his watch, eyes going wide. "How long do you have left?"
"5 minutes," Graham gets up and gives Ace a quick kiss then leaves.
"He must like kissing you."
"I like kissing him."
"It shows." Nyssa looks at her friend, "you were planning on kissing him no matter what during lunch."
"We kissed a few times," Ace smiles thinking of the innuendo she said to him, "I should get back to checking on my emails." Nyssa leaves laughing again as Ace goes back to checking her emails.
