Pulling up to the Dragneel's residence, Lucy was jittery as she was excited to see Natsu. She had been thinking about him all day yesterday and she was itching to see him, her heart racing inside her chest as she had a wide smile on her lips. She was up bright and early this morning and even made it to their house thirty minutes earlier than she was supposed to. She felt like a little school girl with a crush as she felt the butterflies inside her stomach while walking up the stairs.
Entering the home, Lucy was greeted by the smell of breakfast lingering in the air. It made her stomach grumble as she kicked off her boots, coming into the kitchen to be surprised by someone who wasn't a Dragneel in the kitchen.
Instead, it was a very petite woman with long wavy golden hair almost reaching her knees standing in front of the stove with an apron on. She had a black t-shirt on that almost reached her ankles and was flipping over bacon onto a plate when she noticed Lucy standing there, her face twisting in confusion before a wide smile came on her face.
"Ah, you must be Lucy!" She dropped her spatula to come over to the taller blonde. "I'm Mavis! Nice to meet you!" She ran into Lucy's arms making Lucy stumble backwards in surprise.
She looked down in confusion at the top of her head before she looked around for any other clues. She was kind of concerned but mainly confused as this woman she had never seen before was hugging her like they were best friends and where were the brothers!
"Oops," Mavis stepped back, a small blush on her cheek. "Sorry, you must be so confused."
"U—uh, yeah… who are you?" Lucy felt awkward as the short woman giggled.
"Oh, I'm Mavis. I'm Zeref's girlfriend."
Lucy blinked rapidly as she stood in front of the smiling woman, her eyes wide as her jaw dropped in shock. Looking at her from head to toe, Lucy gawked as she wondered how old she exactly was since she looked like she was only in her teens—much younger than her and Zeref.
"I—I'm sorry… you're Zeref's girlfriend?"
"Yes!" She grinned widely. "I know what you're thinking: just how old is this girl? Right?"
Laughing nervously, Lucy scratched the side of her face. "N—no—!"
"It's alright, I get it a lot." She winked, flipping her ridiculously long hair behind her shoulder. "I'm actually thirty one."
"T—thirty one?!" Lucy shouted, mouth open with her eyes wide. "Y—you look like you're still in your teens!"
"Thank you," Mavis gave her a spin, winking at Lucy as she pointed at her with a finger gun. "I like to thank my parents for their amazing genes!" She giggled as she came forward to grab Lucy's hands again. "Come! Get comfortable and have some breakfast! Zeref is showering and I'm unsure if Natsu is awake, we were kind of up late last night."
"You slept over?"
"Yes, I met Natsu last night and we had a couple drinks." She leaned in close, a mischievous smile on her face. "He would not stop talking about you."
Blushing red, Lucy felt the steam coming out of her ears as she felt her heart racing inside her chest. "W—what… What was he saying?" She gulped as she watched Mavis run back over to the stove, turning it on to lather it in butter.
"Oh, just how nice and pretty you are… and how you helped him get a job at the gym and that you like to clean! All nice things, nothing to worry about." She waved Lucy off as she stood there exhaling the breath she was holding in. "I think he likes you."
"O—oh yeah?" Lucy laughed nervously, coming over to where she was. "Can I help with anything?"
"Nonsense! I'm almost done. Why don't you actually go wake Natsu up so we can all have a family breakfast together?" She pointed at the doorway towards the stairs with her spatula.
Lucy only swallowed hard as she remembered the last time she tried to wake Natsu up from his nap, subconsciously reaching up to touch her neck.
Leaving the kitchen, Lucy made her way to the staircase where she looked up in nervousness. Her eyes darted back to the kitchen where she can hear Mavis humming and cooking and then back up in the dark upstairs. She felt nervous again as she slowly made her way up the stairs, trying her best to step loudly so Natsu could hear her coming but when she could hear his snores down the hall she knew he wouldn't wake up.
Opening the door to his bedroom, Natsu was fast asleep on his stomach as half of his body hung off his bed. He looked like a dead body as he slept, the blonde feeling anxious as she looked around his room to see if she could throw something at him. The room smelt like alcohol and smoke, Natsu's heavy snores ringing in her ear as he slept peacefully.
Picking up a t-shirt that was laying around, Lucy balled it up and threw it, missing him as it landed by the wall behind him.
Cursing herself, Lucy continued to grab shirts and ball them up, throwing it at the sleeping male. "Natsu! Wake up!" She whisper-shouted at him.
Throwing a shirt at his face, she saw how his body jerked awake. "What the…"
"Natsu!" Lucy said, making him grab the shirt to take it off his head.
He looked annoyed before he noticed it was Lucy, confusion mirror his face as he started to sit up. He groaned as he sat up on his bed, his pink spiky hair poking out as he rubbed his eyes.
"Lucy?"
"Mavis asked me to come wake you for breakfast."
"Who the hell is Mavis?" He grumbled, voice raspy from sleep as Lucy flushed red seeing how his naked torso looked so inviting. "Oh," he blinked as it came back to him. "You mean Zeref's girlfriend?"
"Yes," she hissed, crossing her arms as she watched him nod off. "She wants to have a family breakfast."
"Family breakfast?" He grumbled again. "What time is it?"
"It's almost eight thirty."
"In the morning?" He groaned, falling back into his bed as he grabbed his pillow to bury his face into it. "I can't, I'm hungover." His muffled voice came from his pillow making Lucy huff.
"Well, she worked really hard on breakfast so I think we should go down."
Lucy stood by the doorway as Natsu laid limp in his bed, no response coming back as she awkwardly shifted from one foot to another. Looking around his messy room, Lucy could only try to ignore it as she grabbed another piece of clothing to ball it up and throw it at him. His body jerked again as he lifted his head up, looking at Lucy with annoyance. "Stop throwing shit at me."
"Aren't you going to get up?"
"No, I'm not." He threw his head into the pillow, again. "I had a late night."
"I heard but you're the only one asleep."
Natsu laid in his bed in silence as Lucy waited, sighing out loud. "Natsu, please," she walked towards him, lowering her voice. "I don't want to tell Mavis you didn't want to come downstairs and eat with us. She is just so cute and nice, I don't want to hurt her feelings."
"She ain't that innocent," his voice muffled through the pillow. He lifted his head to look at the woman who stood by his bed. "You know she's thirty one?"
"Yes!" Lucy whisper-shouted, crouching down to come closer to him. "I was shocked, too!"
"She's older than Zeref."
"W—what?" Lucy gawked. "How old is Zeref?"
"Zeref's only twenty-nine."
Lucy could only shake her head in denial as the people around her seemed so much younger than they really were. She looked at Natsu who was staring at her, feeling her face grow hot in embarrassment. "W—what?"
Natsu only rolled over on his back, sighing loudly as his bed squeaked with his weight. He had a small blush on his cheek as he stared up at the ceiling. "Nothing," he muttered, hand covering his mouth. "I'll come down in a minute."
"You're not going to fall back asleep?"
"I am."
"Then I'm going to wait till you get up." She huffed, crossing her arms across her chest. Natsu could only sigh, rolling his eyes as he turned to look at the pouting woman.
"I'm naked."
Popping red, Lucy stood back up quickly. "I—I'll meet you downstairs." She sputtered, making her way over to his door as he chuckled. She shot him a look, red from her neck up. "Are you fucking with me?"
Throwing the sheets off his body, Lucy squealed as she fully expected to see him naked but he was in shorts. It made her relax her body as she glared at him, seeing how he sat at the edge of his bed with a smirk on his face.
"Liar!"
"Who cares," he yawned while he scratched the side of his torso. "We've seen each other naked before."
Lucy could only flush as she opened his bedroom door, turning away from him as she felt the embarrassment swell inside of her. She felt a bit ticked off. He was brushing her off and poking fun at her making her wait and feel so flustered first thing in the morning as if Mavis wasn't already giving her a joy ride of emotions.
Waiting outside his door, Lucy heard Natsu's heavy footsteps come out as he opened his door, the squeak of the wooden door echoing down the hall. He stood in front of her, towering over her short body as she smelt the alcohol coming from his mouth. It made her scrunch her face up as she looked up at him.
"You reek of alcohol."
Natsu just hummed as he walked to the bathroom, flicking the light on to make his way to the toilet bowl. Seeing how Natsu pulled his pants down, Lucy spun around to turn away from him. She closed her eyes as she felt her face grow hot again, a scowl coming on her face as she listened to Natsu pee in the toilet.
"You're definitely not a morning person."
"No," he coughed slightly, the sound of the toilet seat slamming against the bowl echoing. He flushed the toilet and she heard him turn the water on as she turned back around to look at him. "I'm just not a morning person the day after I drink." His voice was still a bit raspy as he came out the bathroom, scratching his backside as he stood next to Lucy who had an annoyed expression on her face. "Why do you seem so annoyed?"
"Because you're being annoying this morning."
"What did I do?" He scrunched his face up in confusion and annoyance. "You're the one who bursted into my room and threw shit at me, forcing me to get up at the crack of dawn to eat someone's breakfast. I should be the one annoyed but I got my ass up because of you."
"Well, I'm sorry that I'm such a pain in your ass this morning but I'm trying to be polite."
"Since when has eating breakfast with someone polite?"
"She's your brother's girlfriend!" Lucy whisper-shouted, leaning in close to him. "The least you can do is eat breakfast with her!"
"I just met the bitch yesterday!" Natsu scowled. "Is she going to die because I didn't eat her breakfast?"
"No but you should be polite at least."
Natsu just rolled his eyes, walking away from Lucy making her gawk at his retreating figure. "Hello!"
"Are you going to just stand there and keep running your mouth or come eat some fucking breakfast?" He gave her a look as he stood at the top of the stairs.
Lucy only huffed as she started walking towards him, irritating bubbling up inside of her as the feeling of wanting to see Natsu disappeared as fast as it came. She brushed past him and walked down the stairs, the pink-haired male rolling his eyes to follow behind her. The couple made their way around the corner, entering the kitchen where Mavis was setting plates on the table and Zeref sipping on his morning coffee. He sat at the table with newspaper in his hands, a bright smile coming to his face as the couple entered the brightly lit kitchen.
"Lucy! Natsu! Glad you two can join us!" He practically shouted, folding up his paper to stand up. "Mavis made this wonderful spread and breakfast for us this morning and it's such a pleasure to have all of us eat it."
Natsu grumbled in response as he flickered his eyes at Lucy who turned away from him, an irritated expression painting her face as she made her way to where Mavis was by the stove. Natsu just went over to the dining table to sit next to his brother, the dark-haired one looking between Natsu who was pouring coffee into a cup and at Lucy who had her back facing them.
"What's wrong with Lucy?" Zeref whispered, leaning towards his brother who drank from his mug. "Did you two have a fight?"
"No," Natsu said, annoyance laced between his words. "She's just being annoying about me eating fucking breakfast."
Lucy turned to look at Natsu, glaring at him as she heard him speak. He scoffed and crossed his arms, leaning against his chair to give her the same look back.
Zeref felt awkward as he looked between the couple, leaning away from his grumpy brother as he cleared his throat. "A—anyways… Lucy, you met Mavis this morning?"
"Yes, I did!" Lucy switched up immediately, smiling warmly at Mavis. "She is so amazing."
Mavis blushed as she handed Lucy a plate of pancakes. "Oh, Lucy, you're so sweet! No wonder those two love you so much."
Coming around to the table, Lucy placed the plate down with the rest of the food. Natsu could only stare at her as Lucy glared back at him, the two locking eyes as Zeref shrank down in his seat. He swore he could see the lightning flashing in between them as he watched her walk away.
Leaning towards his brother again, Zeref spoke soft and low. "I don't know, I think I'm more scared of Lucy than I am ever you."
Natsu scowled at his older brother and clicked his tongue in disapproval, grabbing his cup of coffee to drink from it again.
Mavis and Lucy returned to the table as Mavis took a seat next to Zeref and Lucy sat across from Natsu. The Dragneel brothers watched how Mavis looked like she had rainbows and butterflies floating around her golden head while Lucy looked like she had a cloud of thunder erupting above her as she aggressively stabbed a pancake. Zeref couldn't help but jump as she dragged it towards her plate, everyone else plating their morning meal in silence.
"So, Mavis," Lucy spoke up as she poured herself a cup of orange juice. "How did you and Zeref meet?"
"Oh," Mavis giggled as she swallowed her food in her mouth. "It's a funny story, actually." She peeked over to look at Zeref who was blushing a bit. "Zeref was fishing somewhere downstream and I was hiking with a group of friends at the time. Zeref was wrestling this big boy in the water and I thought he was bathing so it was just an awkward encounter." She giggled while flashing Zeref a knowing look. "My friends helped him reel this big salmon in and then we came to talk and we actually spent some time together and we shared the salmon in the woods." Mavis blushed as she looked over at her boyfriend who was smiling behind his mug. "But then I didn't see him for a while—I think it was almost a year later when we met each other in the woods again. This time, we were both alone so we spent some time together and the rest is history. It's only been three months since we've been together, now."
Lucy sighed lovingly as she looked at the older woman, a smile on her lips. "How romantic. It's meant to be!"
"That's what I said." Zeref smiled at Mavis. "What are the odds we meet again in the same place?"
Mavis just giggled as she placed her hand on top of Zeref's, the two looking at each other lovingly as Natsu silently ate his plate scowling. His eyes flickered over to his blonde partner whose face instantly dropped when she saw him looking and she turned her head away, huffing as she ate her meal.
It made him irritated as he scoffed, swallowing his one pancake whole to finish his mug of coffee before standing up abruptly. The chair screeched across the wooden floor and caught everyone's attention.
"I'm done, thanks for the meal." He burped out loud as he grabbed his empty plate to walk over to the counter.
"Don't you want more than a single pancake, Natsu?" Mavis called out as they watched him walk away.
"No," he said, dropping the plate into the sink to rinse it off. "Nice meeting you." His eyes flickered towards Lucy again who had her back facing him. He scoffed again and disappeared, leaving the three at the dining table confused and worried.
"Sorry, dear," Zeref rubbed Mavis' arm to get her attention. "He's not a morning person. He's usually like that."
Lucy scoffed as she cut into her pancake, her knife screeching against the plate. "Not just in the mornings—he's like that always." She looked at Zeref to Mavis who looked at her with concern. "Don't take offense to it."
"Y—yeah," Zeref looked uneasy as he looked at Lucy to his girlfriend who was frowning. "It's not you, Mavis. I told you before, Natsu is just like that."
Mavis just nodded as the trio finished up their breakfast, small talk being exchanged as they tried to focus on other topics other than Natsu. Once they were done and Zeref had left to go brush his teeth and finish getting ready, Lucy was washing the dishes as Mavis packed up the leftovers.
Having it just the girls, Mavis turned to look at Lucy with a smile on her face. "So, how long have you and Natsu been a thing?"
Lucy flushed red as she looked at the shorter woman. "W—what?" She sputtered, looking away nervously as she washed the dishes. "Natsu and I aren't a thing…"
"Oh, please," she rolled her eyes, leaning against the counter next to Lucy who continued to wash dishes. "Zeref may be dumb and naive but I can see it just by the way he looks and reacts to you." She had a sly smile to her lips. "And how he was rambling about you last night."
Feeling nervous and embarrassed, Lucy tried her best to keep her head down so she wouldn't see how nervous she truly was. Her ears were burning as she could feel her stare, clearing her throat to nervously laugh. "Y—you got it wrong, Mavis… Natsu and I are just friends. I'm helping him with his anger management."
Mavis rolled her eyes as she sighed, grabbing her arm to startle her. "Lucy, whenever you feel like you need someone to talk to or anything, I'm here. I'm unsure why you two are sneaking around behind Zeref's back but I'm sure he would be thrilled for you two… Natsu seems like a great guy."
Lucy looked at the older blonde with a small smile, feeling better and warm about her aura. "Thanks Mavis…" She looked over at the doorway before leaning in close to whisper. "Is it really that obvious?"
Mavis only smiled before she winked, pulling away from the blonde as Zeref returned to the kitchen.
"Alright, are you ready to go?" He smiled at Mavis who ran into his arms, giggling like a school girl in love and he held her. "We need to get going, I have to drop you off on my way to work and I'm already kind of late."
"Okay, let me go get my things!" She said as she ran off to his room.
Zeref could only watch with a smile on his face as he came over to where Lucy was, leaning against the counter. "I'm going to marry her."
Flushing in embarrassment, Lucy gawked at Zeref who started laughing at her.
"Not now but… I will one day."
"D—don't you think it's too soon?"
"Nonsense," he waved her off. "One thing about the Dragneel's: when we fall, we fall hard."
Lucy could only stare down at the soapy dish she had in her hands, face hot and heart pounding as his words echoed in her mind. She could only think of Natsu as she scowled, putting the rest of the plates away before she turned the water off and dried her hands off on the kitchen towel.
Mavis came trotting back in the room dressed in a long white dress, a small bag in her hands as she smiled widely at Zeref who smiled right back. He placed his hand on top of her head and started to pull her towards the front room as Lucy followed behind.
"Hope your day with Natsu gets better." Zeref said as the couple put their shoes on. Lucy could only smile sheepishly, watching them get ready to head out. "I'll probably be late coming home tonight just because I'm going in a little later."
"Thanks for letting me know."
"Oh, Lucy, it was so nice to meet you!" Mavis threw herself onto the blonde making Lucy stumble backwards, again. "Let's hang out sometime!"
"For sure!" Lucy smiled back widely at the woman. "It was great to meet you. Have a great day!"
Waving goodbye at the couple, Lucy stood by the doorway as she watched them get in the car and drive off. She could only sigh as she watched the disappearing car, a small sad smile to her lips as she kept thinking about what Zeref said. It made her chest throb in a painful way that she didn't know how to handle the situation.
Natsu was making it hard on her but she couldn't see Natsu loving her. Nonetheless, marrying her. He didn't seem like the type of guy who would want to be tied down and with how he had been treating her this morning, she was really sure he didn't have it in him.
Frustrated and annoyed, Lucy came back into the house as she made her way to the laundry room to start her day. She really wanted to get the lawn cut one last time before winter started so there wouldn't be so much overgrown weeds in the spring time and she also needed to start her fall garden. Seeing how much space they had, Lucy thought it would be best to start growing her own fruits and vegetables to help them throughout the year and save her trips to the grocery store.
But as she was trying to get her day started, she kept getting distracted as she continued to think about the pink-haired monster upstairs.
She didn't know why he was treating her this way today and it confused her as she just wanted to punch him in the face.
In some way, she always wanted him to fuck her silly until she couldn't see straight anymore but she felt further away from him than she's felt in a while.
Lucy could only scowl as she slammed the laundry machine door shut, groaning out in frustration as she decided to keep herself together.
Feeling the warm sun on her skin, Lucy laid out in the backyard where it was an unusual hot day for October. With the day being in the high seventies, Lucy felt at peace as she laid out in the grass with a blanket and a book. She didn't remember the last time she could do something like this and the bookworm in her was hurting as she couldn't read as often as she liked. In some sense, she felt rejuvenated and reborn as she laid up looking at the clouds that passed by.
After her experience with Natsu, she would rather keep away from his sour attitude and focus on her wellbeing. She hadn't seen him since breakfast anyways which allowed her to catch up with laundry and dishes.
She came into the yard to see where she could begin her garden but with the warm sun beating down on her, she felt the need to lay out in the yard. The only books the Dragneel's seem to have were really old worn down books and the Hunger Games which she decided to get back into. Reading a quarter through she felt sleepy, giving her eyes a rest as she absorbed nature.
But her peace was ruined as she heard the sliding door open, the irritation building up inside of her already as she prepared herself to get into a fight with Natsu.
Listening to his footsteps, Lucy kept her eyes closed as she could feel him hovering over her, his shadow blocking her warmth.
"Can I help you?"
"I'm hungry."
"Maybe you should have had breakfast."
"What's your fucking problem?"
Opening her eyes, Lucy looked up at the towering male who looked at her with irritation on his face. He was barefoot as he wore a wrinkled t-shirt with the shorts he had on earlier, his bangs dangling down his face. Lucy only sighed as she sat up, stretching her back and arms out as she leaned to the side.
"I don't have a problem."
"You're being a bitch."
Glaring at the male, Lucy only scoffed as she stood up. Bending down to grab the book and the blanket, she walked past him making him follow her.
"Are you not going to answer me?"
"Leave me alone."
"Lucy," he grabbed her by the arm to turn her around. "What's going on?"
Looking up at him, Lucy could only sigh as she shook her head, holding onto the blanket and book against her chest. "I just don't know with you."
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Natsu, we literally went out and had a great weekend—hell, a great week! And then I don't see you for one day and I come back and you give me all this attitude about this morning when I'm trying to make your brother's—" she jabbed her finger towards his chest. '"—girlfriend comfortable and then you want to go and talk to me like that and call me a fucking bitch," she took in a deep breath, her face growing red with anger. "And you just expect me to be just fine with it? I'm a person, too, Natsu, and to put it in better perspective, I'm a person who you're getting to know so I don't know!" She threw her arms up, stepping back from him. "Maybe I just don't like this side of you and I don't really want to be around you right now."
Natsu stayed silent as he stared at her, frowning as she huffed.
"And!" She shouted, pointing her finger at him. "Just so you know, I was excited to see you and you fucking ruined it! You fucking suck. You. Fucking. Suck!"
Turning away, Lucy stomped away from him and left him standing in the yard by himself. He watched how she slammed the sliding door shut, disappearing into the house.
He could only groan in frustration, looking up at the sky. He ran his hands through his hair as he walked in circles, thoughts running through his mind as he felt lost.
"Fuck!"
In some way he felt sorry and he felt like a dick but the other side of him felt angry and he just wanted to go inside and choke her out while he fucked her. He didn't really mean what he said this morning and now as he stood outside by himself after getting screamed at, he felt like an asshole to make such a beautiful woman like Lucy upset.
In some sense, he should have spoken to her in a better way but he just blames his hangover and alcohol.
Taking a deep breath, Natsu went back inside the house to look for the said woman. He walked through the kitchen and living room, popping his head down the basement door to call out for her but when he didn't get a response, he started to get frustrated. Coming to the front of the house, Natsu swung the door open to see Lucy sitting on the stairway, her back facing him.
He closed the door shut and came over to her, sitting down next to the blonde who just turned her head the other way as he tried to take a peek at her face. It made him sigh as he placed his hand on her knee.
"Lucy."
Not responding to him, Lucy just took a deep breath in to exhale through her nose.
"Lucy, I'm sorry." He tried, sighing with her. "I was hungover and I was an asshole."
Lucy just rolled her eyes as she turned to look at him, eyes fierce as her cheeks had tears stained on them. It made him frown as she looked so upset, leaning against her arm that was perched up.
"I didn't mean to make you upset and I'm sorry I spoke to you that way. I won't do it again."
Raising her eyebrow at him, Natsu just rolled his eyes.
"Alright, I probably will but I promise I'll try not to and apologize to you."
Lucy just rolled her eyes as she tried looking away from him again, making him grab her face to force her to look at him. He looked in her eyes as she started to grow red, trying to push him away but he held on.
"Just tell me what I need to do to fix this."
Taking another deep breath in, Lucy pulled away from him and stood up, looking up at the sky as she blinked back tears. After a moment of silence, she looked back at Natsu who still towered over her as he stood a couple steps down from her.
"I want you to mow the lawn for me."
"Mow the—what?" He asked, his face scrunching up in confusion.
"Yes, mow the lawn."
"Mow the lawn." He repeated.
"Yes, the lawn."
"So, you're telling me, If I mow the lawn, you'd forgive me?"
Nodding her head, Natsu stared at her with his eyebrows knitted, confusion decorating his face.
"Mow the lawn?" He repeated making Lucy nod. "Why the lawn?"
"I need it done and I don't want to do it."
Scoffing, Natsu planted his hands on his hips to look at the blonde who had a small smile to her lips. "So you want me to mow the fucking lawn for you as punishment?"
"It's not punishment," she corrected, frowning. "You asked me what you had to do and I asked you to do me a favor."
"It's a punishment, Lucy."
"Fine then," Lucy huffed, turning her body to walk away. "Don't do it then—"
"Fine! Fine!" Natsu grabbed her arm to stop her making her turn back and look back at him. He was shaking his head, laughing in disbelief as he looked up at the woman in front of him. "You know, you're so fucking irritating and have such a fat attitude."
Scrunching her face up, Lucy frowned, again. "Hey—!"
"But," he quickly interrupted, grabbing her by the face to get her to face him. Lucy started to blush as he leaned in, brushing his nose against hers. "I think it's kind of hot."
Lucy scowled at him as she leaned in to press her lips against his, throwing her arms around his shoulders as he held onto her small body. He kissed her fiercely as the taste of her made him hard. He held the back of her head against him as he reached down to cup her bottom, giving it a squeeze to make her squeal into his mouth.
Smiling widely at the woman, Lucy could only smile back brightly as they stared into each other's eyes.
"I'll make you some lunch while you mow the lawn."
"Finally," he teased, putting her down to walk up the two steps. "I thought I was going to starve."
Rolling her eyes, Lucy gave him a playful smack on the side as he threw his arm around her shoulder. The couple entered the house together as they both came into the kitchen, the twenty-four year old going straight to the fridge as Natsu grabbed the slippers by the door. He exited out the sliding door and disappeared somewhere in the yard as Lucy started to boil some water, watching him through the glass door where he walked all the way to the far back where a small shed was. She watched him yank out a bunch of crap, tossing them to the side to get the mower.
It made her watch in amusement as she has never even seen a lawn mower and to her surprise, Natsu was pushing a large riding lawn mower. It looked like it hadn't been touched in a while and she could see him wave his hands around as the dust and dirt exploded into the air.
Soon, he was pushing the mower towards the grass and getting it started up as the loud sound of the rumbling engine roared into the house. She could only laugh as he looked so small, sitting in the seat to drive around the yard that looked a little overgrown.
Hearing the muffled sounds of the lawn mower going around the backyard, Lucy fixed up a quick plate of pasta for Natsu as she popped some garlic bread into the oven.
In some ways, Natsu made her life more interesting. Even with the fights, she would much rather do it with him.
Laying back out on the backyard with the smell of fresh cut grass filled their nostrils, the couple enjoyed their company together as the soft breeze surrounded them. Their shoulders touched and they laid next to each other, a joint in Natsu's mouth as Lucy read her book, a smile on her lips as she could feel the warmth of his hand on her thigh. The day had gone as fast as it came where the time almost showed three in the afternoon. Natsu had cut the lawn and ate his lunch and when he asked what else he could do for her, Lucy suggested they lay out in the sun.
"So, what do you think of Mavis?" Lucy asked as Natsu inhaled sharply. She flipped a page in her book as she held it up, reading the sentences as Natsu exhaled smoke.
"She's alright," he said, watching the end of his joint burn. "She's an enthusiastic person."
"She's cute. Like… a kid."
"She looks like one, too." He said, taking another inhale as he held it out to Lucy. Lucy put her book down on her chest as she took it from his hands, smoking the joint with him as he put his hand behind his head to support it. "Really scared the shit out of me when Zeref brought her home last night. I thought he was fucking some kid."
Laughing out loud, Lucy looked at Natsu who had a smile on his face. "I thought the same. I was a little concerned this morning."
Taking the joint from Lucy's hands, Lucy put her book back up to continue reading as Natsu smoked.
"But she's cool. I can see she makes him happy so that's all that matters." He shrugged, ashing the end of his joint as he blew out smoke. "I didn't think they'd been dating for that long though."
"He's your brother, Natsu," Lucy turned to look at him, her eyebrows furrowed. "You should have noticed or asked or something."
"Nah," he held the joint back out at her. "We don't do stuff like that."
"So you had no idea?"
"None."
"He never spoke about her?"
"Lucy, I found out he was in a relationship like last week." He quirked a brow at her. "And then I met her yesterday."
Pursing her lips, Lucy knitted her brows together as she was in thought, trying to see if Zeref ever mentioned anything to her. "He said something about going camping with his girlfriend one time."
"Yeah, I guess that was the first time he mentioned it."
Seeing how Natsu held out the joint that was about gone, Lucy shook her head no and sat up, turning to look at Natsu who looked up at her with his eyebrow raised. He took a couple quick puffs of the end before he crushed it into the grass, putting it out as Lucy sat facing him.
"What's up?"
"Zeref said he was going to marry her."
Natsu scoffed as he laid back down, using both his arms to support his head as he looked at the woman in front of him. "He's just saying that."
"He said he's not right now but he will. Said she's the one."
"We'll see about that."
"What? You don't think so?"
Shrugging his shoulders again, Natsu just shook his head. "I don't know, that's his business. But knowing Zeref, he could be just talking out his ass."
"Why do you say that?"
"Because," he trailed off, looking at Lucy who turned her whole body to face him now. "Because he's done this before."
"He has?"
Nodding, Natsu reached for her hand as he held it, playing around with her fingers as Lucy flushed slightly.
"Zeref dated some girl all throughout highschool. I thought he was going to marry her but the thing with Zeref is that when he falls in love he falls hard. Too hard."
Zeref's voice echoed inside of her head as she listened to his story, looking down at their hands that were intertwined together.
"She just really took advantage of him and he couldn't see it because he was so in love with her. But he eventually knew when she left him for some pre-med douchebag."
Lucy only nodded as she absorbed the information that was just released, thinking about Zeref and Mavis and the girl he used to date in high school. It made her frown to think that someone could take advantage of someone like Zeref and it made her glad that he's able to move on and find someone like Mavis.
"Mavis seems good for him, though."
"I agree," he nodded as he pulled her down towards him. It made her yelp in surprise as she fell into his chest, reeling her head up to look at the grinning smile who smelt like marijuana smoke. His eyes were low and red as he stared into hers, a mischievous expression painting his features as she felt her heart skip a beat.
He leaned in to plant a kiss on her lips, giving her a brief second to think and see what the signals were.
He felt anxious as he craved her touch. He's been wanting to be inside of her since they did it last, last week and hearing how Gajeel's voice echoed inside his head, he decided to test the theory.
In all honesty, he felt like they had been taking it slow. Sneaking kisses from one another and going on a date or two, he felt like for once, Gajeel was right.
Lucy leaned in and kissed him again, pressing her lips against his hard as he held onto her. He held the back of her head as they smacked lips, feeling her warm tongue in his mouth as he felt her hand slide down his chest. He could feel her fingers twitch and tease him as she slid them right back up, pulling away to look at him with those wide sparkling eyes that made him laugh.
"What?" She blushed, biting down on her bottom lip.
"You're giving me that look."
"What look?"
"You know what look I'm talking about." He smirked as Lucy smiled slyly. He grabbed her by the waist and pulled her on top of him, Lucy squeaking in surprise as she straddled him. She looked around embarrassed as she placed her hands on his chest, looking back down at Natsu who was looking up at her hungrily. "I'm leaving it up to you."
"W—what?"
Natsu just stared up at her as he stroked her thighs, running his hand up her thighs to put his hand up her dress. He felt her shiver under his hands and his eyes flickered up to look at her blushing face as she looked down at him.
Lucy could feel Natsu growing underneath her as she pressed her heat against his bulge, looking down at the male who was giving her such an inviting look. She could feel her heart race and her womanhood throb as she felt nervous, looking around to see them in the middle of his backyard in broad daylight.
"What if someone sees us?"
Natsu only snorted. "Who? My neighbors? Lucy, I live in the middle of nowhere, like you always say."
"Yeah but…" she trailed off, drawing shapes on his chest. "It's during the day… outside."
"We can go inside."
She bit down on her bottom lip again as she looked in thought, taking one look around again before she looked back at Natsu. She leaned down and kissed him on the mouth, her soft breasts pushing against his chest. He could feel her grind her hips against his hard on making him hiss out, gasping into her mouth as she kissed him hard.
He slipped his hands up her dress and pulled it up making Lucy raise her arms, allowing him to take the fabric off her to expose her in her underwear. It made her blush harder as she straddled him in her matching bra and panties, seeing how he racked his eyes up and down her body.
She stuck her hands under his shirt to pull it up, exposing his toned abs as he leaned up to have her pull it out from under him and over his head. He started to make a pile as he pulled her down to kiss her hard, going around to unclip her bra to have her slip out of it. He could feel himself grow harder as he looked up at the woman on top of him, tits out and blushing red as she bit down on her bottom lip in nervousness. He could feel his cock twitch and how Lucy pressed her warmth onto him making his breath shake.
Slipping his shorts off with Lucy's underwear, the pair laid naked in the middle of his yard during the day with the sun beating down on them. The warmth hugged them as Lucy grinded her hips against his hard cock, feeling him twitch between her bottom lips as she kissed him.
He reached for her breast and squeezed them, fondling them gently as she moaned into his mouth. Sighing in pleasure, Lucy reached down to feel his hard shaft and balls making him inhale sharply, hissing out as she offered him a smile. She rubbed herself on him to wet his shaft, sitting up on her knees to have Natsu grab himself to position himself to her entrance. Feeling her ease herself down, Natsu moaned out loud as he felt her tightness squeeze him.
"Fuck, Lucy," his breath shook as he looked up at her. "You're so fucking tight."
Whimpering out, Lucy eased his entire shaft inside of her as she sat still, panting as her wall stretched out. She could hear her heart pounding in her ears as she felt Natsu's heartbeat inside of her, looking down at the male who laid there breathing hard with a grimace on his face.
Slowly moving her hips up, Lucy sat back down to swallow him entirely. Natsu groaned as he threw his head back, his hands gripping her thighs hard as he squeezed.
"Lucy."
Leaning down to kiss him, again, Lucy started to move her hips. She felt him go in and out of her as she moaned into his mouth, feeling him hitting the back of her walls as she moved. Natsu held onto her hips as she rode him, feeling dangerously close way too early as her tight pussy squeezed him. Starting to bounce on his shaft, Lucy started to moan louder and faster as she felt him pound inside of her. Her tits bounced with her body as she leaned against his chest, hands pressed against his torso as she cried out. She could feel her knees rubbing against the blanket against the grass and she ignored the pain as her stomach started to pool in pleasure, her bottom half burning in desire.
Natsu popped a nipple in his mouth as he sucked, nipping at her making her gasp out. He leaned up and kissed her on the throat, grabbing her by her hips and neck before flipping her on her back. Lucy squealed in surprise, gasping out loud as she looked up at Natsu who hovered over her. He plunged deep inside of her making her scream, her knees shaking as he pounded her over and over.
Looking down at her, Natsu felt himself reaching climax as he watched the erotic faces Lucy made at him. She held onto his hair and clawed his back as he grinded his hips against her, her mouth open wide as she cried out.
"Natsu!"
Feeling Lucy's walls pulse around his cock, Natsu shoved himself so deep inside of her Lucy's screams reached the city. He pulled himself out and burst all over her stomach, breathing heavily as his arms shook. He could feel Lucy's legs trembling by his sides as they looked at each other, catching their breaths and shaking.
Leaning down to rest his head against her shoulder, he felt her wrap her arms around him and hold him as his heart swelled.
Laying down next to her, Natsu held onto her hand tight as they both caught their breaths. He could feel the stress and energy melt away from his body as Lucy laid next to him naked. The fall breeze was still rushing past them as the warm sun blanketed them in nature.
Looking over to look at the golden beauty, Natsu could feel his chest squeeze inside his chest in warmth. He could only smile warmly as Lucy turned to look at him, her flushed face brightening up his face.
"Lucy," he sighed out. "You're so beautiful."
Flushing harder, Lucy could only laugh. "You're only saying that because I'm naked."
"That, too." He chuckled, brushing his knuckles against her cheek. "I—" he swallowed hard, stopping himself as Lucy stared.
Blinking her eyes in confusion, she stared at him as he blushed.
"W—what?"
Looking away, he could only shake his head and cover his mouth as the embarrassment came out.
"Nothing."
Watching the flustered man in front of her, Lucy could only smile. Her heart raced inside her chest and she reached for his face, turning him to look at her. Leaning in, she kissed him on the mouth making him kiss her back, pulling her body close to his naked one as they melted into each other.
Pulling away, Natsu looked down at her as his heart raced in his chest.
"Want to go again?"
Lucy laughed out loud as Natsu got on top of her, again, kissing each other fiercely as he positioned himself against her once again.
