Sailor Moon

Forgotten and Not Wanted

Episode 12: Redemption from Darkness Part 1

Lila's Mind

W-Where am I?

Looking around, I could see devastation…what I had been doing that could send my mind into such a state…I don't recall what is going on…

Suddenly, two warriors were sent flying past me. They looked identical, but one had a sparkling white aura and the other, a pure black one.

"You will perish for good Sailor Moon!"
"Never! The Light will prevail Chaos, I let you use me once, I won't fail again!"

Chaos…that's right…He corrupted me, used me to split the one group that could stop him again. I grabbed a bow on the landscape of my mind and fired on the dark auraed Sailor Moon.

"Grrr…so your normal personality is still alive it seems. Very well, I'll take care of both of you!"

The dark Sailor Moon began rampantly firing in all directions, but dealing with my light side had apparently worn the dark side of me down, as their attacks were sloppy and uncoordinated. They still clearly had the potential to kill, but they weren't going to do any good if she couldn't even hit me.

Eventually, one of my arrows got a lucky hit into the dark Sailor Moon, striking her in the eye and partly blinding her.

"AGH! WHY YOU LITTLE BRAT! YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH THIS HURTS!?"

No, but I can probably guess it hurts like crap, no one would want an arrow in the eye.

"When I get my hands on you, you'll wish I'd finished you off when I first took you over!"
Alright…now she's getting on my nerves. Another shot landed, this time in her chest, and it must have been on a previous injury, because it definitely looked like it hurt a lot more than it should have. Before we could do anything else, she just…fell. Fell from the sky right onto the ground in a large crater.

Looking into the crater, we saw the dark Sailor Moon beginning to crack like glass.

"Dang it…Looks like I'm out of power…you win this round Sailor Moon…but you will not win the war…" she said, before shattering into pieces.

"Thank you Lila…now rest. You will awaken soon, once your mindscape has healed from the damage the battle has caused…until then, rest easy."

And just like that, my mindscape faded away, as it began to heal.

Unbeknownst to me, in the real world, my hand started twitching ever so slightly…

MEANWHILE

Ami's POV

"So, you figure out what happened that made Usagi so mad at us?"

"No, and that's the frustrating part. How can we make things right when she won't even tell us what we did wrong!" Makoto ranted.
"To be fair, we did gang up on her when the new girl arrived and claimed she was well known…" Mina said.

"I'd be annoyed at us too, but even that doesn't explain how she's so mad! Ugh…Normally she's an open book, but now she's closed off!" Mina ranted. "It's been almost two months and we've still got no idea!"

"Well we have to do something, but it would have to be meaningful to Usagi or she'll never accept it." I said.

"What could we possibly do that she'd actually accept!?" Makoto fumed.

"We need to figure it out at some point…I'm missing being able to talk to her, and even Rei seems to be getting back into her good graces, which is something I suppose." I said. "Those two mostly hated each other, so the fact that they're getting closer means we aren't completely without hope."

"You three having issues?"

We looked over to see Mika walking in, she was apparently an exchange student from the US and was somewhat close to Usagi, so maybe she had some advice?

"Yeah, we're trying to get Usagi to forgive us, problem is that we can't even figure out what we did wrong!" Mina said.

"Do you have any kind of tips on what we can do to make it up to her, or at least what we did wrong?" I asked.

Mika's POV

Crap. Should have figured they're still figuring it out. I can't just tell them…they'll freak out, and I was told not to tell them…
At that moment, I felt something…something unpleasant. No…if that feeling is what I suspect it is…she'll need all the allies she can get…It's killing me watching these three suffer anyways…Wait what?! Ugh…Usagi's kindness is rubbing off on me…

Either way…she'll need all of the scouts to stop the darkness…I just pray I'm wrong about what it is.

I sighed before speaking, "Fine. You guys worked with her as a side-project. It was important to all of you, but after that new girl showed up at your work you basically ditched Usagi for her. It hurt a lot more than you may have realized. She's still bitter over it, and you somehow lost your memories of your work. I can't explain anything else, I was told not to tell you three…so if this comes back to bite me, you're taking the fall for it." I then walked off, since it was up to them to fix this mess. Secretly moving into an alley, I then transported to the top of Tokyo Tower. I can only pray that my fears are unfounded, for if he is coming…Usagi will need all of the help she can get to stop him…

Sakura's POV

As I was watching Usagi and the others, I could see than the box was starting to glow.

"So…their redemption is at hand…I pray they are ready to be saved…"
Dark clouds were beginning to form over Tokyo, as our next battle was about to begin…
