Phase 30: College Tour
Rachel wakes up earlier to kiss her boyfriend on the forehead to go into the armory to prepare her loadout for the mission to head to the university to find the entrance to the main lab they are seeking for the mission.
She switches out her frontline loadout for a more support loadout. She is using the TAC-308 sniper rifle, the APC10K machine pistol, and the Desert Eagle magnum pistol. She puts attachments onto her weapons like suppressors on the rifle and auto pistol, a red dot sight and a foregrip on the APC10K, and a high-power scope on the TAC-308.
"Perfect," she said as she was already in her combat gear to put the guns on her person along with her Tanto hoister on her lower leg.
"Playing Support now?" Jack asked as he was in her gear already.
"Yep, I will be able to use my powers defensively too," she said to load up a 10-round magazine into the bolt action rifle.
"Good, we need to get in there. Find it and see what we need to do," Jack said to grab his Glock 40 and a Honey Badger.
"You guys ready to go?" Elza asked to be in gear to hold over her new weapon a PDR-C bullpup carbine chambered for 5.56 rounds along with her FN57 pistol.
"Yep, time to find the lab entrance," Jack said as they began to get out of the safehouse.
"On the map, the Redford University on the other side of the city. We need to head there, give us cover from above," Elza said.
"You got it E," Rachel said with a smile to begin jumping on the side of a building to get to the rooftop.
"Gee, like a real spider monkey," Jack joked as Rachel laughed on the radio.
"I know, crazy right? I will follow you guys up here," Rachel said as she scouted ahead to make sure their trip to the university was a smooth ride.
She sees a few Undertaker Scouts on the roof as she rapidly puts 10mm rounds into the heads of the mutant soldiers to put them down. "Good night," she whispered as she approached the edge of the building to equip her sniper rifle to look down the scope to see the duo go through the streets to see several Oozes blocking their path.
"Gee, these freaks," Elza said as she was firing her bullpup carbine to put bullets into the two heads of the Oozes melting into goo. Jack tosses a Heavy grenade to destroy a group of bioweapons with more Oozes coming towards them along with Pincers and Tricornes.
"Gee, there is a party down there," Rachel said as she aimed for the Tricornes who were in the buildings on the side of the duo. She snipes one in the head as she swiftly follows up shots to kill each with a headshot.
"Nice shots," Jack compliments her as he rolls away from the attacking Pincer to use his Honey Badger to dump a few rounds into the chest and head killing it off.
"It's nothing, I am getting the hang of my abilities," Rachel said as she rapidly pumped precise shots downrange to wipe out the Tricornes and switched to the Pincers laying down overwatch for the duo.
"Seems like you guys are on the move. Heading for the university?" Peter asked on the radio.
"Yeah, we are going for it," Jack said.
"I got a bit more information about the entrance of the lab. Look around the library area, you can start there," Peter said.
"Thanks for that," Jack said.
"No problem, stay safe," Peter said to cut off the radio line. They see an Ooze Brute slamming through cars to knock one into the duo. They both duck under the incoming large projectile to open fire on the big Ooze shrugging off the damage. The Ooze tackles the duo to knock them onto the ground.
"You guys okay?" she asked on the radio as she saw Ooze coming onto the roof.
"We can handle this," Elza said.
"Okay E, stay alive down there. Both of you," Rachel said as she used her APC10K to pull out the stock to shoulder it and fire into the heads of the Ooze coming at her. She hears incoming Undertakers coming up the stairs trying to find her.
"Better hide," she said as she went behind cover to see the Undertakers take out the rest of the Ooze.
"I want you all to capture big sister dead or alive for Linda's experiments," the Valkyrie commanded on the radio.
"Seems like I made quite the impression on the head honcho," Rachel said overhearing the radio call. She looks down to see her suppressor on her auto pistol as several Undertakers are searching the roof for her.
She pops out of the cover to shoot an Undertaker in the head as she rapidly pops them in the head in quick succession. Suddenly an Ooze Brute appears to bust through the door to let out a nasty moan to smash the last Undertaker turning it into red paste.
"Great, the big guy," she switches to her Desert Eagle chambered for .50 AE rounds. The Brute rushes towards Rachel as she dodges the strike with ease. She fires the magnum at the beast a few times to stun it. She follows up with a powerful kick to knock the beast away. She empties the magnum pistol into its head and body killing it off with Rachel wielding the large caliber pistol like a toy handling the heavy recoil like nothing.
Jack places a sticky grenade to latch onto the Brute to violently split it in half. "Thank goodness that is over, how is your end, Rachel?" Jack asked.
"I am good thanks, I had some trouble but I have dealt with it," Rachel reloads her Desert Eagle to switch to her TAC-308 sniper rifle to jump over a gap to be on another roof to follow the duo down below. She looks over with her sharp eyes to see the university nearby as she sees a few Light Tanks coming down the streets. "Guys hide now," she said as the duo got behind cars to let the Stingray 2 Light Tanks move along the streets.
"Moving around here, not much left after what we did at the gate," Elza said.
"Destroying them would make life easier but later," Jack said as they headed for the university.
"We are close to the university," Elza said on the radio.
"I can see that, look out. There is a mortar crew near the university," she said as she aimed to look through the scope to take out the crew easily. She secures the rooftop which has a launcher with mortars beside it.
"Yes, we managed to get to university," Jack said as they approached the huge university complex to go up to the steps but they saw the three light tanks return to open fire on them. "Well shit, time to bunker down," Jack said as a Stingray 2 fired its tank gun to blow a hole in the walls of the University.
"Time to give them some backup," Rachel said as she loaded a mortar into the launcher to aim for the group of light tanks. She fires the projectile to unleash a cluster of explosives to overwhelm the tanks turning them into flaming ruins. "Got them," she said as she saw incoming Undertakers on the roof of the university.
She pulls out her rifle to zoom in and take them out via headshots. "Nice one Sunshine," Jack said as the duo went inside to begin searching for the library area of the university.
"No problem, I will meet you inside," Rachel said leaping into the air to go over a gap to be on the rooftop of the university. She wields her Tanto to slice and stab incoming mutant soldiers to drive the blade into the forehead of an Undertaker Grunt.
She sees an Undertaker Heavy wield a Minigun and begin to spin the barrels to unleash hails of bullets with Rachel sliding behind thick cover to avoid getting turned into Swiss cheese. She tosses a flashbang to blind the Heavy as she fires two sniper rounds with one knocking off the helmet and the second cutting through its head killing it.
"I will take that," Rachel grabs the Minigun to see if it has 500 rounds on it. She uses her raw strength to go downstairs to see a horde of Ooze blocking her path. "Eat this," she unleashes waves of heavy bullets tearing through the bioweapons splitting their bodies apart. Sending their guts and body parts scattered across the corridor.
She sees the Minigun run out of ammo to drop it on the floor to use her APC10K to shoot into the chests and heads of incoming Undertaker Grunts coming to get her.
"Guys I am in the University. I will meet you at the library area," Rachel said.
"Be careful, Aqua Lickers are within these grounds," Jack said.
"Thanks for the tip baby, meet you there," Rachel said as Jack and Elza went through the hallways taking out Undertakes and Oozes to see more Aqua Lickers.
"Jumpy bastards," Elza said as she fired her carbine to tear into the beasts with them heading for the two. They swing their claws as they roll and ducking away with them keep firing at the monsters.
Jack lines up his shots to put rounds into their head to knock them off the walls to follow up with several more shots to put them down.
"I got one of these," Elza had a sonic grenade tossed into the hallway to let out a piercing noise which paralyzed the Aqua Lickers to lay on the ground screaming in pain. They put rounds into the Lickers to kill them off.
"Okay, we are right inside the library," the duo went inside to see the rows of books and materials on display.
"Good, I am heading there right now," Rachel said on the radio to see Aqua Lickers hopping around the hallway. She uses the enhanced reflexes to put shots into Lickers via magnum shots from her Desert Eagle.
One of the Aqua Lickers leashes out with its tongue but Rachel uses her Tanto dagger to slice it in mid-air to follow up with another shot to slice through its head killing it off.
"Big sister," a familiar voice moaned as she turned around to see Rachel Ooze from behind rushing down the hallway.
"Not you again," she said as she fired her Desert Eagle at the rushing mutant woman but she shook it off and healed her wounds. "That healing factor is insane," she thought as she ran away to switch to her sniper rifle to fire shots into her head and chest but recovered quickly.
"Come on big sis, give your baby sister a big kiss on the forehead," Rachel Ooze said as a long pink sucker pops out of the slit in her forehead ready to suck Rachel's blood.
"Oh no, I need to get away from her," Rachel tosses a stun grenade to disorient the monster lady for a few moments. She sets up a trap with the C4 she stole from a dead Undertaker to place it on the floor. She pulls out a trigger and the Rachel Ooze comes back rushing towards Rachel.
"Please big sis, it hurts so much," Rachel Ooze said as Rachel set off the explosion to make the floor collapse to make the Rachel Ooze fall and get pilled on with lots of debris.
"Guys, we need to find the entrance and get out of here. My Ooze is back here," she said as she went into the library to meet up with the others.
"Oh really, we need to see this place entrance ASAP," Elza said as they came back together to quickly search around the library.
"I bet there is a secret door somewhere," Rachel said as she heard a whistling sound nearby. "Oh bingo, the book trick," she said pulling a weird book to hear a clicking noise to make a bookshelf slide down into the floor revealing a secret room.
"Good work babe," Jack said as the trio headed inside to see a metal door and terminal nearby. "This is the lab entrance for sure," he said to see the Redford Lab label above the door.
"Seems like we need to find keys again. This time 5 of them," Rachel said as she found a map on the terminal which had all five marked on it. "Cool, we got what we came for. Let's get out of here," Rachel said as the trio swiftly headed out of there with Rachel Ooze screaming to smash through the pile of debris.
"Big sister, I need to find you and then I will show you how much I love you," her long sucker pops out of her head to suck the blood of an Undertaker beginning her quest to take out her big sister claiming her for herself.
