Chapter 2: Welcome:
Ben's POV:
My parents have invited the Yamamotos over for Thanksgiving.
"Good thing we have enough food," says my Mom, "good idea, Carl."
"By the way, Gwen says she's bringing Kevin," says Grandpa Max.
Then a doorbell rings and it's the Yamamotos.
"Hi," says Julie, "these are my parents and grandparents."
"We really appreciate this," says Julie's Mom.
"Come in," says my Mom.
I looked out the window. "Looks like Gwen and her parents are here," I said, "and I see Kevin." Kevin was in his Kevin 11 form.
The door opens. "What's up," asks Kevin.
Julie's Grandma screams. "Akaoni! Akaoni!"
"Oh no," says Julie, embarrassed.
. . .
"What was that about," I asked.
"My Grandma thinks the story of Momotarō was real," says Julie.
"Whowho Whatwhat," I asked.
"Momotarō was born from a giant peach, which was found floating down a river by an old, childless woman who was washing clothes there. The woman and her husband discovered the child when they tried to open the peach to eat it. The child explained that he had been bestowed by the gods to be their son. The couple named him Momotarō," says Julie, "they say he fought a band of demons called oni."
"Better turn down the alien, Kevin," says Gwen.
"Sorry," says Kevin. He then does so.
"Your Grandma believes in stories about fruit people," I asked.
"Yes," says Julie, "try not to say anything to her."
Doom's POV:
I found the Yamamotos' house, but no one was home.
. . .
I arrived at the Hunters' house. "Dr. Doom," says the ghost boy.
"Tell me where to find Julie Yamamoto and her blob creature," I said.
"Never," says the ghost boy. He then turns to his ghostly form, but I trapped him in a forcefield.
"Hey, what's going on," says this fool of a man. I might get information out of him.
Ben's POV:
I was walking to my room, when my S.H.I.E.L.D. communicator beeped. I answered. "Yeah," I asked.
"Tennyson, whatever Thanksgiving plans you have are going to have to wait," says Fury, "Doom is in Bellwood!"
