"Tikki, don't look at me like that!" Marinette grinned nervously, as her Kwami crossed her arms. "Marinette, don't you remember the last time you invited Cat to make pancakes?" "I had to call the fire department because Cat not only burned the pancakes and the pan?" "Exactly! What if he burns down the house this time?"

"Is that a Kwami?" A astonished voice whispered. Marinette and Tikki whipped around, finding Cat standing in her room. Oh, cheese and crackers, this was bad! "Yes, yes, it is," Marinette felt her voice squeaking, but she tried to keep calm. "Ladybug sent her to check on me." Cat pouted. "I check in you," he said, his lower lip jutting out. "Am I doing a bad job?" "No, your doing wonderful!" Nikki chirped, assuring him. "Marinette was feeling sad, but since your here, she's much brighter." "Yay!" Marinette pumped her arms. "Now, let's make some pancakes!"

Nikki sighed in relief as Marinette took Cat's hand, and led him downstairs. That had been close!

In the kitchen, Marinette rummaged through the drawer, and turned to Cat with a giggle. "Look, its a cat face cookie cutter. But you can use them to make pancakes too!" "Its cute, Princess," Cat leaned against the counter as Marinette prepped the stove. "But isn't as handsome as me!"

Marinette laughed, handing him the pancake mix and bowl. "Who are you, Gaston?" Cat tossed his hand. "Princess, really! I only have eyes for Bugaboo," he flushed. "Uh-uh," Marinette said, clicking on the stove.

"Cat, here! Now you can be a real chef!" Marinette said, handing him a tall chef hat that Uncle Cheng had left last time he visited. Cat did a good job of getting the bag together, but he kept checking himself out in the toaster mirror! One after the other the pancakes burned. Ugh, Tikki was right! I need to find a way to fix this before I have one hangry feline!

"Meow do I look?" Cat grinned, straightening his hat for the tenth time. Then an idea clicked. "Cat, will you be okay for a moment if I run upstairs?" "Sure."

Marinette quickly ran upstairs, taking the Miraculous of the mouse from her sewing box. "I may not be Remy, but MultiMouse is here to save the day! Er, pancakes! Mullo, get squeaky!"

Marinette crept downstairs and scampered up into Cat's chef's hat. "Ooh, yeah, let the magic begin!" she giggled, grabbing two fistfuls of hair. The hat was translucent enough that she could below her.

Within minutes, Cat was flipping pancakes like he was an expert, and Marinette giggled as he meowed with delight.

Soon, a stack of golden cakes sat steaming on a plate. She let go of Cat's hair and dropped to the ground, detransforming quietly.

"Marinette, there you are! Look!" Marinette grinned at the happy look on her best friend's face. Little did she know she'd be there the whole time!

Later, Marinette told Nikki her plan. "You always come up with the best ideas, Marinette! But I think this one takes the pancake!" The girls giggled, and there was a knock at her skylight.

Cat was back, with a DVD in his hand. "Princess, want to watch Ratatouille?"
