"Superheroines. Millions have been drawn to these modern myths of comic book lore." Wiz starts the episode.

"Or you could, uh, just be drawn to the way they're drawn." Boomstick butts in.

"Like Anna Marie, the Rogue."

"And Diana Prince, the Wonder Woman."

"He's Boomstick and I'm Wizard."

"And we're here to watch two chicks duke it out! CATFIGHT!"

"It's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills-"

"And maybe a few other things."

"-to find out who would win… a Death Battle."

"Ah yeah, a fight between two badass superhero girls, I'm here for this." Yang says, excitedly.

"It'll be just like the heroes in my books as kid." Ruby says, giddily.

"I can't say I approve of the way Boomstick talks about them, though…" Weiss says with an irritated look.

"Rogue has possessed a variety of different powers over the years. For this duel in particular, we will use the most well-known version: the original iteration from the comics and television show." Wiz explains. "Her deadliest weapon is her own skin. With just a touch, she absorbs a person's memories, talents, personalities, and abilities, whether superhuman or not, to use them herself."

"Too bad it knocks them out cold. And if she holds on long enough, it's game over." Boomstick adds.

"Wow, that has to make the love life hard." Yang says.

"Tenacious foes like Juggernaut can resist it, but in the end, nobody is safe from Rogue's parasitic touch. For every second of contact, Rogue can keep these powers for a full minute. Though sometimes, there's unforeseen side effects." Wiz goes further.

"She held on to Ms. Marvel for so long she absorbed her powers permanently. Now, she's got super strength, speed, and near invulnerability. Not that I blame her, though. I'd be holdin' on to Ms. Marvel for as long as I could! Plus, then when she's unconscious I could-"

"Could what, Boomstick?!" Weiss questions angrily, all the girls (except Ruby), plus Jaune and Ren all furrowed their brows at what Boomstick was implying.

"Gross." Blake says.

"No, seriously. Could what?" Ruby asked, genuinely confused.

"You don't need to know, Ruby." Yang says, thankful that her sister has kept her innocent nature.

Writer's note: please don't go harassing the team over that line. They've since stated they didn't like the way they portrayed Wiz and Boomstick in season 1.

"She also gained a seventh sense, the ability to unconsciously predict her opponents' moves." Wiz explains further.

"But her seventh sense doesn't seem to always work. That or the writers just forgot about it 'cause, uh, Rogue gets her ass kicked a lot."

"For plot convenience."

"And damn, she's got a hot ass."

"There he goes again, the pervert." Weiss says, while Jaune and even Ren are both looking away. They're not going to say anything, but they couldn't help but agree.

"What?"

"Hey, that counts as a superpower in my book, Wiz! But while she's not invincible, she doesn't have any real weaknesses either. She's a classy southern belle, who I'd like to take out to dinner."

"Who can fly, lift buildings, and kill people just by touching them."

"Nevermind."

"I'd like to think Rogue has better standards anyway." Blake says, to which Weiss nods in agreement.

"Ain't that enough?" Footage of Rogue from the '90s X-Men cartoon plays onscreen.

"So she can steal people's powers just by touching their skin. That would pose a challenge for anybody, including us." Ren thinks out loud.

"Although, I don't think she would get much from me…" Jaune says.

"Don't sell yourself short, Jaune. You have so much aura, and we'll unlock your semblance yet." Pyrrha once again picks her team leader up, and he smiles back at her.

"Thank you, Pyrrha. You're such a good friend." Jaune's responds, but while Pyrrha is smiling back, Jaune's use of the word 'friend' made her die a little inside. Nora put a hand on her shoulder for support.

"To the uneducated nerd, Wonder Woman may seem a cheap clone of Superman." Wiz says.

"With superboobies!"

That comment nearly sent Weiss into a rage while Yang couldn't help but stare down at her own girls with pride.

"But in reality, she's a whole different story. Created from Earth, born by gods, trained by ancient warriors-"

"Maker of Wonder Bread! Designer of the Wonderbra!"

"Boomstick, that's not true!"

"See, I can do it too, Wiz!"

"Her attire… It looks like yours, Pyrrha." Ruby points out.

"What? Oh, I suppose it does." Pyrrha notices.

"Wonder Woman is the incredibly powerful and near invincible ambassador of Themyscira, and self-appointed protector of the Earth." Wiz continues.

"And she dresses like a stripper. A patriotic stripper!"

"A stripper?!" Pyrrha says, with a hint of fury in her voice, after Ruby had just compared her own gear to Wonder Woman's.

"Diana Prince has been trained by the Amazons as a master combatant since childhood. She dueled the best of the best for the right to be crowned Wonder Woman. Her unearthly powers are divine, granted by ancient Greek gods and goddesses. From Demeter, she received superhuman strength and durability."

"I hate to keep drawing comparisons, but the more they talk about her, the more she reminds me of you, Pyrrha." Blake says, "And that's a compliment."

"Why… Thank you. I suppose there are some comparisons." Pyrrha says with a smile on her face.

"And you know that bitch mailman god with the wingy shoes?" Boomstick asks his co host.

"Hermes?"

"Whatever. He gave Wonder Woman the ability to fly and move at hypersonic speed."

"She was given numerous other powers from enhanced senses, animal rapport, and blessings of wisdom and empathy." Wiz adds.

"Aside from the obvious cannons rested right below her neck, she's got a pretty bizarre mix of weaponry. Her Lasso of Truth is a piece of unbreakable string that, well, makes you tell the truth."

"Something like that would've useful for getting information out of Torchwick." Ruby points out.

We see Steve Trevor tied up with the Lasso as Diana's mother, Hipployta questions him.

"What other depraved thoughts must you be thinking?" Hipployta asks.

"God, your daughter's got a nice rack." Steve says, thanks to the Lasso's influence.

"Hell yeah, she does!" Boomstick agrees.

Weiss rolls her eyes, but most people in the ring sort of nodded. And it's not like he could've lied about that.

"She uses her tiara as a long range throwing weapon, using its razor sharp edge to slice open her enemies' throat." Wiz adds.

"Wonder Babe here uses the Bracelets of Submission, indestructible steel gauntlets forged from the remains of Zeus' legendary Aegis. These babies can block all sorts of attacks."

"She has persevered throughout the years, fighting a huge variety of foes, even killing the Greek God of War, Ares."

"Hear that, Kratos? A chick beat you to it!"

Wonder Woman bashes the edge of the shield to Mad Harriet's throat.

"Let's see you smile now!" Wonder Woman boasts.

"An impressive warrior. Even with Rogue's abilities, I'm not so sure she can handle Wonder Woman's superior ability." Ren says.

"You go with the warrior chick. I'm going with the poison skin chick!" Nora places her bet.

"Rogue's got some spunk, I like her. I got money on her." Yang says.

"Let's not forget about what Boomstick said about Rogue's battle history. Even with her power, she often loses her fights." Weiss says. "And it seems like Wonder Woman has the experience to work around that."

"I think I'm going to pick Wonder Woman, because she sounds awesome. Not many people appreciate the classics, but those weapons are so cool! And she reminds me a lot of Pyrrha. And I've yet to see Pyrrha lose a fight." Ruby says.

"Thank you, Ruby." Pyrrha thanks Ruby's praise.

"Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all." Wiz says.

"Now it's time for a catfight DEATH BATTLE!" Boomstick yells.

Rogue is shown flying in the sky. The Invisible Jet descends in the background and Wonder Woman flies out. She kicks Rogue in the face, and both superheroines fly down to the ground.

FIGHT!

Wonder Woman throws her tiara at Rogue, runs behind her, and roundhouse kicks her. The kick sends Rogue flying. Wonder Woman then flies after her, kicking her multiple times before dashing behind her again and punching her. She grabs a dazed Rogue with the Lasso of Truth and slams her on the ground numerous times, drags Rogue near her, and uppercuts her in the air.

"She's completely flooring Rogue. She's got this in the bag." Ruby says.

"It's not over yet, sister." Yang says.

She darts around the airborne Rogue with a flurry of punches. When she punches Rogue in the face, however, Rogue absorbs some of Wonder Woman's powers, and she absorbs more of her powers when she takes off her glove and touches her leg.

"Oh no! She made a mistake!" Jaune says.

"How can such an accomplished warrior make a mistake like that?" Weiss asks.

"Have we considered that maybe this is the first time they're meeting, and she doesn't know about Rogue's power?" Blake points out.

"Perhaps, but why are they fighting then?" Pyrrha questions.

"Who cares, all I know is that this is about to get good." Nora says.

While Wonder Woman breaks free, Rogue strikes her from behind, elbows her in the neck, and sends her soaring with a quick kick combo. Wonder Woman throws out her Lasso of Truth again, but Rogue grabs it, tugs it, and slams her on the ground. Rogue flies behind her again and launches her tiara again, but Rogue blocks it, propelling it back on her head- kicks her in the air and uppercuts her. Wonder Woman stops Rogue with several punches, but her finishing kick is blocked and she is knocked in the air.

"Rogue has turned the tide. She's overwhelming her." Jaune says.

"Ooh, come on, Wonder Woman!" Ruby cheers.

Rogue flies after her in the air, and is responded by a commotion of punches.

Everyone who picked Wonder Woman cheers this.

Rogue blocks one of them and delivers some of her own.

This gets everyone who picked Rogue to cheer.

Which is later blocked by Wonder Woman. She is then knocked down to the ground by a dive kick delivered by Wonder Woman. Both combatants fly down to the ground. Wonder Woman dashes towards her with a flying kick, but it is interrupted by Rogue, who grabs her.

"Goodnight, sugar!"

With these words, Rogue proceeds to plant a kiss of death upon Wonder Woman's lips, killing her.

K.O.!

Rogue strikes a pose for the camera before we go to Wiz and Boomstick.

That finish causes everyone's jaws to drop on the ground. Jaune and Ren's eyes nearly pop out of their heads.

"What the- How the- But why though?!" Weiss asks.

"Well, it was a hard fought battle at least." Pyrrha says sadly, knowing that the girl everyone was comparing her to just lost.

"I can't believe it!" Ruby was more shocked than anybody, not by the kiss, but by the result.

"Woo-hoo-hoo! This goes down in history as the best Death Battle ever!" Boomstick cheers.

"Poor Wonder Woman was more than a match for Rogue, but then she touched Rogue's face." Wiz says.

"Wonder Woman is a trained fighter, so naturally she would strike her opponent's weakest spots, like the neck, stomach, joints, and, well, the face."

"In the end, her failure was a result of her thorough Amazonian training."

"And her stripper outfit! Her leg was just begging to be grabbed there. Though personally, uh, I might have grabbed elsewhere."

"Wonder Woman's powers may be godly, but Rogue's taken similar powers before, so there's no reason to say she couldn't here. Adding Wonder Woman's strength and speed to Rogue's own power gave her a huge advantage, drastically turning the tide."

"A few high flying combos and our favorite X-Girl had Wonder Woman on the ropes."

"And with her combined reflexes, speed, and seventh sense, she outmaneuvered Wonder Woman with one fatal kiss."

"Rogue sure made out in this fight!"

Yang laughs at the pun while Jaune closes his legs slightly on seeing the kiss again.

"The winner is Rogue."

"So… that was something." Blake says.

"Our girl won, that's all I care about." Yang says.

"Yeah!" Nora high fives Yang.

"Next episode?" Jaune asks.

"Yeah, more, more!" Ruby asks, eager to learn about more characters and see more battles.

"Now hold on. We have classes in the morning. How much more are we going to watch?" Weiss asks.

"She does have a point." Ren agrees.

"Well, these episodes are pretty short? So what do you think?" Ruby asks her partner.

"Well since they're so short, I'm thinking about ten episodes. Does that sound good?" Jaune asks.

Everybody agrees to stop after 10, before Jaune hits play.
