"CATFIIIIIIGHT!!!"

"It literally is, Boomstick." Wiz addresses his partner. "Not only do we have two ferocious females in the ring today, but they're also, well, cats."

The introduction piqued Blake's intrigue and curiosity, her teammates looking to her.

"Felicia, the popstar demon cat chick lady."

"And Taokaka, BlazBlue's speedy vigilante."

"He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick."

"And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win… a Death Battle."

Zwei barked at the screen at seeing the two cat fighters on the screen.

"It's okay, boy. Calm down." Ruby says, pulling Zwei back.

"As a catwoman, Felicia faced discrimination all her life." Wiz introduced Felicia

That caused Blake to frown, already relating the most to Felicia more than anyone else on Death Battle. Weiss turned away shamefully, knowing that her father, and to an extent, herself was guilty of that.

"She was raised by a nun and became a successful popstar. A passion that would ultimately lead her on a quest to bring humans and cat-people together to make children happy."

"Ah, that's so sweet!" Nora says happily.

"What the hell? I thought we were talking about a deadly demon warrior and… is she naked?!" Boomstick asks.

"Yes."

"But, she's a cat."

"Yes…"

"Where are you going with this, Boomstick?" Weiss asks, pretty much knowing the answer already.

"Hmmm… do you think it'd be wrong to-"

"Yes!"

"I shouldn't be surprised." Weiss facepalmed, while Jaune just looked off the side with a blush, not wanting to say anything.

Felicia is a Darkstalker, a creature of the night, and naturally possesses supernatural strength, speed, and agility." Wiz goes further. "She can also use her unique cat senses to sniff out enemies from extreme distances."

"She can tear into her foes with the sharp claws restin' in her big ass paws, each several inches long and capable of tearing through all kinds of armor." Boomstick says.

"Woah, look at those things?" Yang says in reference to Felicia's massive cat hands. Ruby looked at Blake, picturing Blake, with some claws like that. Blake noticed this and tried not to make eye contact with her leader.

"To top it off, her tail is extremely strong, able to lift her entire body on its own." Wiz goes further."

Weiss' jaw dropped.

"That should be impossible, how can someone's tail be so strong?" Weiss asks.

"You can train any part of your body to be strong enough to do whatever you want it to, Weiss." Pyrrha says.

Yang silently snickers to herself again.

"She's undeniably one of the faster Darkstalkers and can get around the battlefield with her unpredictable Rolling Smash, Delta Kicks, and Rolling Buckler." Wiz explains.

"Felicia, she can really mooove-" Boomstick sings. "Felicia, she's got an attitu-ude-"

"Yes, Boomstick, we get it, she's like Sonic." Wiz interrupts him. "Anyway, as a Darkstalker, Felicia has a natural affinity for magic, able to use it in the form of her only ranged attack: kicking sand."

"At least she's litter box trained."

This gets a laugh out of Yang. "Imagine having the ability to use magic and using it to just kick sand?" She says.

"You might as well not have any magic at all." Weiss says.

Blake just glared for Boomstick's joke.

"As she was raised by a nun, even becoming one herself, she has little to no combat training, preferring to focus on her singing career and running an orphanage." Wiz says. "As such, she relies on her lethal, feral instincts in a fight."

"But these same instincts also lead her to be easily distracted by ferocious enemies, like butterflies, rolling balls of yarn, and paper… that crinkles."

"Hey, Blake, remember that time I got you a ball of yarn?"

"Yeah, I remember…" Blake says.

"Well-" Yang says with a snicker. "I've been meaning to give this to you." She says pulling out another ball of yarn which is snatched out of her hands by Ruby.

"Thanks, Yang! You're the best big sis!" Ruby says, thanking her sister.

"The other Darkstalkers consider Felicia to be one of the weakest of their kind, but with the help from her friends, she somehow manages to hold her own against demon lords, spell casters, and all powerful aliens."

"This is one cat you don't want to cross."

"I sure could use a catnap." Feicia says before reverting into her cat form.

"Impressive moveset, apart from kicking sand." Weiss says.

"I don't know. I for one don't wand sand kicked in my direction." Yang says jokingly, not actually threatened by that.

"I know right! It gets everywhere!" Jaune says, actually serious.

Blake couldn't help but admire Felicia for her mission to bring humans and cat-people together and doing it in a non-lethal fashion. She couldn't help but wonder if Felicia could teach Adam a thing or two.

"That chick wearing a cat hoodie?" Boomstick asks in reference to Taokaka's appearance

"No, that's a special cloak to fit her Kaka body." Wiz answers, with a casual tone.

"Her… what body?"

"Her… what body?" Jaune asked the same question at the same time.

"Taokaka is a vigilante of the Kaka tribe, a catlike people descended from genetically engineered living weapons." Wiz explains as if that's a normal thing.

"Well… that's a lot to unpack." Ruby says.

"Her genetics provide her with a natural fighting instinct. She is the guardian of the Kaka, implying that she is the best fighter of the group."

"While she may be a good fighter, she is one dumb cat."

"Hey, that's rude!" Pyrrha says, defending Tao.

"Unfortunately, Tao has an incredibly severe case of ADHD." Wiz explains. "While she hunts bounties with the intent of improving her fighting skill and bringing money to her family, she often winds up completely forgetting about her mission at the worst of times, often even befriending her would-be targets."

"Well… at least she has a good heart." Pyrrha says, still trying to find the positives.

"She has twelve retractable dual-edged blades on her hands and feet. While they're not very long, they can transform from basic claws to hook-scythes and saw blades." Boomstick explains. "Damn, I don't even want to think what those things would do to my couch."

Ruby marveled at the sight of Tao's ability to turn her claws into anything she wants.

"Ahhhh… THAT'S SO COOL!" Ruby shouts. "Blake, you have to learn how to do that!"

"What…? Ruby, how am I supposed to-" Blake begins before being interrupted.

"As Team Leader, I order you to turn your claws into scythes!" Ruby says, although her attempts at being assertive come across as cute and Jaune and Pyrrha chuckle together.

"Tao's genes allow her to instinctively access and utilize Seithr: a raw, powerful energy seething through the air. Tao can use Seithr to empower and transform her claws, as well as to execute incredibly vicious attacks. However, there is only so much Seithr in a given space, and once she runs out. Tao will lose many of her deadliest attributes." Wiz continues.

"Also, apparently Tao likes to carry around a lot of random shit, which she then uses as projectiles during a fight: bowling balls, apple cores, pillo– a pillow? Really?!"

Weiss was flabbergasted, while everyone else found it humorous. Even Ren and Blake gave a chuckle.

"She's the fastest of the BlazBlue cast, darting around the arena with incredibly fast combos." Wiz explains. "However, she's also the weakest stamina-wise and doesn't have very many defensive options."

"But, if you want to kick her ass, you gotta catch her first!"

Taokaka is on the screen with a very well-endowed woman.

"Aah! It's the boobie lady!" Tao shouts.

Yang and Nora both thought that was funny.

"So who do we think is going to win this one?" Jaune asked.

"This fight could be the closest yet." Pyrrha theorized.

"Well I for one, am rooting for Felicia." Nora says surprisingly.

"You're not rooting for Tao? I thought she would be your favorite." Jaune asked.

"Well, I have my reasons." Nora said, being an orphan herself, she wished she had Felicia to take her in when she needed it.

"How about you, Blake, who do you think is gonna win." Jaune asked.

"Why are you asking me?" Blake asks.

"Uhhhh… well, uh-" Jaune stutters.

"He simply wants to get a feline perspective, isn't that right, Lady Killer?" Yang asked.

"Yeah, that's right!" Jaune answers, which Blake let's out a sigh at.

"Well, they're similar in many different ways. They seem nearly even in every aspect. They share one weakness… they're tendency to get easily distracted. Which is an overdone and unrealistic stereroty-"

Blake stops mid-sentence upon seeing a red dot appear on the floor and Yang starts giggling.

"You won't… get me… with that… twice… Yang." Blake says as she resists the urge to chase the dot.

"You mean she got you with it once?" Weiss asks.

Blake's face gets red with embarrassment.

"Alright, the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all." Wiz says.

"It's time for a CAT FIGHT!" Boomstick yells.

On a wooden bridge, a pink butterfly flies toward Felicia, who is wearing her nun attire and watering plants. Felicia notices it and takes off her robes, then begins following it. She then leaps at it four times before accidentally bumping into and waking up Taokaka. Felicia jumps back while Taokaka is agitated.

"ALRIGHT!" Taokaka yells before we begin the action.

FIGHT!

Taokaka charges at Felicia, unleashing a long combo before knocking her into the air, then slamming her into the ground with her hook claws. She charges again when Felicia uses her rolling smash to jump onto her attacker, then unleashes a combo of her own. Felicia then knocks Taokaka into the air, jumps upward, slashes her a few times before grabbing her and throwing her to the ground. Felicia lands and Taokaka attempts to counter, but her attack is blocked, leaving her wide open to Felicia's Delta Kick. Felicia then uses Rolling Smash and moves back and forth, hitting Taokaka repeatedly before she jumps upward and catches Felicia as she gets her claws ready.

"Take this!" Tao yells before she stabs Felicia multiple times with her Distortion Drive, Imma Beat the Crap Outta You, where she sits on top of her and stabs her with her claws.

Felicia completely reverses it with her Hell Cat Grapple, concluding by throwing Taokaka.

"Boing!" Tao says as she lands with her hands on the ground and her tail in the air while Felicia gets into a fighting stance.

"They seem to be evenly matched." Ren says.

"Ooh come on, Felicia." Nora says.

The two stare at each other until… the butterfly comes back, grabbing both of their attention. The two repeatedly leap at it while sweet music plays.

Ruby, Nora and Pyrrha can't help but smile.

"Aw, that's so sweet." Ruby says.

"Wait, is this it?" Yang asks.

"They did say Tao often befriends her enemies… that may be how this ends." Weiss says.

Blake softly smiles, thinking maybe this doesn't end with these two killing each other.

As the butterfly approaches Felicia, Taokaka slashes it with her claws, and Felicia's eyes nearly bug out.

"Whoops!" Tao simply says, genuinely.

"No, no, no!" Felicia says, distraught over this.

Felicia then lunges at Taokaka, letting out a catlike roar, and unleashes a combo on her.

Nevermind, then…

The two trade combos until Taokaka is slashing at thin air, forgetting where Felicia is. Felicia lands on Taokaka and slashes at her face before knocking her back with a kick. Taokaka gets into a one-legged stance when Felicia uses Rolling Smash. She catches Felicia off guard using her Slashy Slashy, where her claws grow larger and jabs up in the air, knocking Felicia back.

"Oh dear god!" Pyrrha yells.

"I thought that would've been it. I can't imagine how bad that would hurt." Yang says.

"Oooooh!" Ruby says, loving the way Tao can change her claws.

Felicia uses Sandsplash, but to no avail as Taokaka jumps right over it, trapping her in a combo and knocking Felicia into the air. She strikes Felicia multiple times, keeping her in the air, then lands. Taokaka then takes out her claws and jumps upward as she performs her Astral Heat. Attack Meow Pow, where she leaps into the air and slashes at her opponent in mid-air.

"Taokaka Boom!" Tao yells before she deals the finishing blow. The strike is so devastating that it slices Felicia in half, and Felicia lets out a scream as her top and bottom halves hit the ground. And Tao celebrates with a dance.

K.O.!

"Nya, ha, nya ha, nya, ha!" Tao laughs before she sits on the ground. "Now I'm bored."

Nora makes a cartoonish frowny face as Ruby and Yang cheer for their favorite cat person… besides Blake of course.

"Felicia just got put down!" Boomstick yells.

"But this one was very close; based on their movesets, Tao appeared to have a slight speed advantage. Though Felicia had the endurance of a Darkstalker, Tao's superior agility eventually gave her the win." Wiz explains.

"Not to mention she's got freakin' razorblades for claws! Felicia just took her final meow."

"Ah yeah, speed takes the win!" Ruby says proudly as she's the one with a speed semblance."

"The winner is Taokaka."

"That was a fun one." Nora says.

She says this, not knowing the next and last episode of their evening will be a little more serious.
