Chapter 43 City of the Dead

I don't own Dragon Ball Xenoverse or Kamen Rider Kuuga

Yuudai was going through a forest and he looks around, it was in the middle of the night as he kept going down the road.

"What could more appear?" He said.

Yuudai then saw Jimmy Bones appear surprising him. "Jimmy?"

"Oh hey, follow me." He motions Yuudai to follow him.

Yuudai got curious and follows him as they went deeper into the woods.

Then they arrived at a building that's a funeral home making Yuudai confused.

Bones knocks on the door as a man wearing a green suit opens it.

"Well hello Jimmy." He smiles.

"Meet Portifoy Simms." Bones said.

"Simms?" Yuudai said.

"I'm the Funeral director." He chuckles while smoking a cigar.

They went inside as Simms leads the way.

"It seems you lost some weight." Bones said.

"Hey." Simms pointed at him with a grin.

They went to a living room and they sat at chairs.

"Well it's nice to meet someone new, someone alive." Simms looks at Yuudai.

"Okay." Yuudai said.

"So, do you know how Jimmy can be strong?" Simms said.

"Oh you want to tell him?" Bones said.

"Tell me what?" Yuudai said.

"The city of the dead." Simms said.

"The city of the dead?" Yuudai said.

"Yes, theres a different afterlife in many worlds, but the City of the dead exists in many." He said.

"Huh?! You mean even in Zeno's domain?" Yuudai said.

"Of course, and Jimmy can get stronger thanks to the city, as anything that's dead makes him stronger." Simms said.

"Wow." Yuudai said.

"Yeah, theres a lot you need to learn." Jimmy said.

"Come." Simms got up excited as the two followed him.

Yuudai looks around the place and could see some paintings one had of different people, one was a pale man with sharp teeth, wearing a white coat and top hat.

Another had a man with black hair and a black coat with a skull staff.

Which made Yuudai curious to who they are. Who are those two?

The trio went down a hallway and Yuudai sees many coffins in different parts.

"Oh these ones are special." Simms said. "Each tell a different story, really tragic and evil ones."

Yuudai frowns hearing that.

"But if you want a challenge we'll show you." Simms said.

Then the wall next to them changed revealing the city of the dead surprising Yuudai.

"What the?" He stares at it.

"Come on in." Bones pushes him inside.

Yuudai screams feeling the dead people before he comes out in a strange reverse world version of the place.

"What?" He looks around.

Simms and Bones came too and Simms was still excited as he goes foward.

Yuudai kept going before he saw many of the undead staring at him and he passes by, then he saw a undead warrior came out and being a undead knight with a mace.

The knight swings it at Yuudai who dodges and summons his belt.

"Henshin!" He transforms into Kuuga.

He blocks the mace with his teigu as he shoots lightning at it making it grunt as he swings it more times.

Kuuga then kicks him in the chest before he punches it in the head making the knight stagger.

Kuuga punches it many times and zaps him making the knight counter with many swings as Kuuga dodge many times trying to avoid them.

This guy won't give up. He thinks to himself.

The knight roars and swings his mace around making Kuuga dodge many times and he got hit to a wall making him grunt.

He saw the undead charging at him but he ducks to the side as he crashes through the wall.

Kuuga looks inside of the hole before he got dragged inside.

The other two looked and saw a pit filled with the dead souls as they were dragging the two inside.

"Oh, I think I should have told you theres a pit there." Bones said.

The knight holds him as Kuuga grunts feeling they're hands drag them down even more as he could tell if he lets them he will be stuck here.

"I refuse!" He changes into Ultimate and makes a electrict shockwave breaking free as he jumps to the wall above punching a hole.

He holds on to it and looks down to see the knight getting dragged down more as he roars one more time before vanishing.

Kuuga sighs and sees Bones looking at him. "Need a hand?"

"Yes." Kuuga nodded.

Bones helps him up and Simms chuckles. "Now he's in deep shit."

"Seriously?" Kuuga stares at him.

"Now we had our fun it's time to go." Simms thinks of something. "But heres a gift."

He takes out something from a nearby coffin and throws it at Kuuga.

He grabs it and falls down. "What?"

Kuuga saw it was a black hammer with spikes.

"It's called the Undead Maul, so use it well." Simms said.

Kuuga checks it and he can tell it's strong so might as well use it when the time is needed since it felt dead.

They exited the city and Kuuga shivers. "I hate being there."

"Many do." Jimmy said.

"Well boys visit any time that you want." Simms said.

He shows them the door and the two leave.

"Who is that guy exactly?" Kuuga asked Bones.

"Just someone very devilish." Bones said.

Simms kept chuckling as horns came out of his forehead. "It was really nice meeting you Yuudai."

He goes to a tv and turns it on revealing a man going on stage and it was Rai ishida.

"Oh it's one of his fellow riders." He smiles.

Rai then started to sing with many cheering for him.

Getting ready for bed at a regular time

Is one of the most important habits you can learn

Simms clapped. "Now that's the stuff. Or the shit as some would say."

He kept watching the show as it interested him seeing all of these guys.

Kuuga met a strange man that day that has many powerful friends and something tells him this won't be the last time.
