Chapter 33: The Dragon Team vs. The Evil Dragons
Gotenks cut straight through the landscape, taking off a chunk of the horizon where all the Evil Dragons were standing on before blasting it away from the Namekian villagers. However, Ryu Xing Long used her power of wind to create a massive hurricane which prevented the land from being displaced, and caused it to fall straight onto the surface of New Namek.
"Don't think you have a say in where this battle takes place, fool. The ball's in the court of the amazing and beautiful Evil Dragons!" said the female Dragon.
"That is enough interference. I will deal with this petty Fusion myself, to teach him true terror… And with the terror engraved in him, he will die begging for mercy as I end the Namekians he is trying to protect, and kill his little friend in front of him… All in time for his Fusion to not expire! And then, he too shall die!" yelled Yi Xing Long, as he flared up a dark, purple and red aura that crackled with black electricity.
"Gotenks, I will assist you! We don't have time to dawdle, we must conserve enough of your Fusion time to deal with the other Dragons after this one!" yelled Future Trunks, at which point Yi Xing Long sped behind him and said after grabbing him by the neck, "After this one, eh?! You think too highly of yourself, worm!" while keeping Gotenks at bay with consecutive Ki blasts, prompting Gotenks to think to himself, "W-What a heavy volley of blasts… Is this truly the same guy I fought as Goten?! H-Having a body produced by Piccolo instead of the sham body he created with Porunga's energy, and having two Dragon Balls acting as his core… He's powered up beyond imagination! But knowing him…"
Gotenks powered up, causing his muscles to inflate in a manner similar to Grade 2. The strain of this, however, opened the wound caused by the insertion of wood into Goten's broken arm, prompting Yi Xing Long to burst into laughter as he then said, "Bwahahahahaha! Will you destroy me with your little maneuver, or destroy your arms and legs before you get the chance to try?! Bwhahahahahahaha!"
Yi then shot a mouth blast at Gotenks, prompting Gotenks to dodge it and then swing his sword above Yi at full force, at which point he tried to use Future Trunks as a shield to torment Gotenks, only for Gotenks to then teleport behind Yi and blind his eyes with the blood coming from his arm wound, after which he tried to stab his sword into Yi's heart to rip out his Dragon Balls, succeeding in stabbing him. Future Trunks swung into Gotenks' sword to deepen the stab wound, at which point Yi snapped both swords with his Ki and then blasted both fighters with a Kiai and then ejected the halves of the swords they attempted to stab him with from his palms, blinding Gotenks in his right eye and Future Trunks in his left.
"Bwahahahahaha! That was a good plan, I'll give you that! But in the end, it backfired! My body manipulation abilities are a notch above your Ki control, and now you're the ones half blind! How long will it be… Before you lose the use of your vision altogether, eh?!" gloated Yi, at which point Gotenks formed a humongous Kamikaze Ghost and then launched it toward Yi, who flew toward where the Namekians were, taunting, "Now you won't be able to detonate him! Fool, you ran clean out of tricks after that first attempt!"
Muri then said, "Gotenks! You must kill him, even if it means killing us! Do not worry, if it is our lives that must be sacrificed to protect all of the universe, it'll be a death worth dying!" only for Yi to then tear off his arm and stuff it into his mouth, saying, "As you can see, I shall not kill him as long as you do not make any hasty moves… So, what will it be, Son Goten… Eh?!"
"You're the one out of tricks, Yi. I came up with this technique almost 20 years ago, you think I haven't thought of ways to prevent it from backfiring on me?!"
The massive ghost that Gotenks sicked then formed a barrier around itself, shot Yi with a soft Kiai which blasted Muri to pieces, but left his head intact, and then grabbed onto Yi before flying sky-high.
"Time to say goodbye, Yi Xing Long!" yelled Gotenks, at which point Yi smirked and said, "Too easy!" as he inserted his corrupted Dragon Balls inside the ghost, which was too large to explode from the minute damage of two fist-sized orbs being inserted within it. Yi then converted all of the energy inside of the ghost into negative energy and swallowed his former body, retaking its prior shape and condensing his size back to humanoid levels.
"D-Damn! He could do that too?!"
"You're not paying attention, boy. I told you before that my being is made of negative energy in its purest form, and that I converted Piccolo's energy into negative energy to corrupt the other Ultimate Dragon Balls… Your little ghost attack being a mass of energy makes it all too easy to consume! Ahahahahahahaha!"
"D-Dammit! Trunks, help me! We have to at least kill him before my Fusion expires!" yelled Gotenks as he flared up his aura, at which point Muri regenerated and healed his arm wound, and Future Trunks also flared up his aura, and the duo charged at Yi.
"Hehehehehehehe… It would be no fun if you weren't fresh, so this is fine by me! I shall test out the energy I consumed from you! Haaaah!"
Yi Xing Long then shot a volley of finger beams at the duo, who changed the trajectory of their flight to the other Dragons in an attempt to make Yi's blasts target them, only for Su Xing Long to engulf them in a wall of fire, enhanced by Su Xing Long's magnification lens technique, formed from turning the mass of land Gotenks cut earlier into sand and then glass. From within the cyclone of flame, however, Future Trunks and Gotenks together launched a powerful Taiyo-ken, severely wounding the other Dragons. Gotenks then put them all inside a massive Ki volleyball formed of Galactic Donuts and yelled, "Yi, catch!" before then forming a dual Heat Dome Attack with Future Trunks to attack all seven Evil Dragons together, at which point Yi just smirked and said, "Trying to use my Dragon pawns as a shield?! Fool, the embodiment of pure darkness is not so soft!"
Yi then gathered negative energy from inside himself, causing his Dragon Balls to both glow with a powerful negative surge of power, which concentrated itself in two rays that converted above his palm and formed a massive, dark crimson energy ball that crackled with black and red electricity.
"Die and disperse along with all who live on this planet, pathetic little mortals! Minus Energy Power Ball!"
Yi Xing Long's blast was so large that it instantly unraveled the volleyball that Gotenks trapped the other Dragons in, who then converted themselves into masses of negative energy that took the shape of Dragons to escape the trajectory of the blast, which consumed Gotenks and Future Trunks' blast whole and was about to consume the planet instantly. Yelling, "DAMMIT! I-I DIDN'T THINK HE'D TARGET HIS OWN BRETHREN!", Gotenks was forced to try and deflect the blast with a Kamehameha, which was consumed by the mass of dark energy as well.
"Ki blasts aren't an option, we have to take this head on!" yelled Future Trunks as he tried to kill the momentum of the blast as much as possible with Kiais, which saw little success. Gotenks and Future Trunks were consumed by the blast entirely before it destroyed the planet, and a powerful tremor that could be sensed across the universe was heard as the blast exploded, and the six Dragons spectating the event all smirked, and Yi then descended into the massive crater in the ocean where he expected to see Gotenks and Future Trunks' bodies. From within the smoke, Gotenks emerged, having survived the blast by enlarging his muscles even further into Grade 3 levels, but still gravely injured, reverting him to a regular Super Saiyan. Future Trunks was shielded by Gotenks, but had reverted to base form.
"Fresh out of tricks, I see… Surviving won't do you two any good when victory is so far from your grasp. I think I'll go kill the Namekians now, and you two shall follow! Wu Xing Long, feel free to torture them with your Dragon Thunder as I take out the trash!" yelled Yi, as he spat into his hands and grinned in a demented manner, delighted to indulge in torturing the remaining Namekians.
"UWAAAAAAAAH!" yelled Gotenks as he transformed back into Super Saiyan 3 with all of his might, only for Yi to choke his neck by lengthening his arm, and Wu hit him with his Dragon Thunder, causing him intense pain.
"BWHAHAHAHAHAHA! WHAT GOOD WILL YOUR LITTLE TRANSFORMATION DO YOU NOW, WHEN YOU WERE NO MATCH FOR ME WHILE FRESH?! THERE EXISTS A LIMIT TO PATHETIC AND FEEBLE ATTEMPTS!"
Gotenks was damaged severely and reverted back to his normal Super Saiyan form, at which point Yi Xing Long punched him at full strength, snapping Gotenks' spine.
"Hehehehehehe… I heard your spinal column go 'snap' with that attack just now… I suppose your two arms are next!"
"Taiyo – "
As Gotenks attempted to do this, Yi Xing Long broke both his arms by twisting them, and then headbutted him into the ground, causing Gotenks to convulse violently and vomit. He then shot a mouth blast onto the ground that concealed him from view, only for Yi to say, "Fool. Fusing in your Super Saiyan state is your mistake, you cannot suppress yourself down to zero!" and lengthen his neck to catch Gotenks with his fangs and bite a piece of his deltoid off, at which point Gotenks said, "That all you got?" while smirking valiantly.
"You just don't know when to quit!" yelled Yi Xing Long as he dislocated Gotenks' other shoulder and then punched him repeatedly in the face, only to suddenly realize that Future Trunks had fled from the battleground, getting Spaceship GT started.
"Feh! Don't let him get away!" yelled Yi, prompting the other six Dragons to shoot blasts at the spaceship, blowing it up completely and causing Future Trunks, hurt badly, to fall onto the ground and spit blood. Ryu Xing Long, who then headed to where Trunks had collapsed, said "A shame to kill such a handsome man with my own two hands… But it'll be me who gets to end his life!"
As the female Dragon prepared to slice him to ribbons with her demonic wind, she noticed that Future Trunks was wearing a Scouter, from which faint noises could be heard through her enhanced hearing – and the noise coming from the other side was Vegeta's voice. She realized a second too late that Future Trunks relayed this event onto his father on Earth, and called for backup.
"Tch! Yi Xing Long, this twerp called for reinforcements! Vegeta – and probably all of the other fighters on Earth, will be headed here shortly!"
"YOU LITTLE WORMS! YOUR TORTURE SHALL NOT END UNTIL I AM SATISFIED!" yelled Yi Xing Long as he immediately charged at Future Trunks and broke all of his ribs with a kick, after which he banged Gotenks' head onto Future Trunks repeatedly, cracking both their skulls and knocking them out. However, deeply angered at being tricked, Yi pierced both their stomachs with spikes he grew from his wrists and then slashed them repeatedly, causing them to lose a ton of blood. The damage too severe for his Fusion to endure, Gotenks split into his components, and Yi Xing Long, saying "Feh… Defused early, have you?! I can't say I am quite satisfied with your torture, but I suppose it's time to end you!", threw the three Saiyans into the air before blasting them into the ground, and then fired a mouth blast intending to kill them all. A huge explosion shook the planet, but from the smoke, a green barrier emerged, which then lifted itself.
From within the spherical shield emerged #17, who created the barrier, his twin sister #18, Kuririn, Tenshinhan, Oob, Pan, Bra, Vegeta, Gohan, the good Majin Boo, and a new fighter – Super #17, who had been rebuilt by Bulma and her team of scientists. Vegeta had flown on opposite ends of the planet with #17 and his fused counterpart to find Oob, Kuririn and Pan, who then gathered every ally capable of participating in this battle and teleported onto New Namek.
"You three hurt. Mister Boo heal you now," said Majin Boo as he grew an extra hand from his chest and healed Goten and the two Trunks', who woke up and jumped up from the ground, saying, "W-Wow! You guys made it just in time… But who is that?! Super #17?! How is he here?!"
"I went ahead and flew to the planet M2, where I convened with the Resistance who'd gathered Super #17's remnants and locked them up in a basement because he was mostly organic and couldn't be recycled to create new machines like the other Machine Mutants. They also let me get back to Earth pretty quickly using their teleportation portals, that saved us some time!"
"Yes. Although I now have taken the body and form of Super #17, my CPU is a copy of the one used by #16. I have been reprogrammed to love the peace, and protect nature," said Super #17.
"Feh! Whether there are a few of you or a few dozen, it makes no difference! All those who stand in our way die!" yelled Yi Xing Long as he went into full power and descended onto the ground, as the other Evil Dragons, who had recovered from their wounds at this point, did the same. Just then, a fifteenth fighter shot seven harpoons at each of the Evil Dragons, impaling all of them other than Yi Xing Long and Su Xing Long, who detected the ambush faster than the weapons could connect.
"You'll do well to not forget about my existence! Yi Xing Long, I will make sure you pay for running me through the chest earlier!" yelled Redjic as he flew to Trunks' side, his shoulder wound disappearing completely as he finished recovering.
"YOU LITTLE FOOLS! YOU'RE REALLY ASKING FOR IT NOW!" yelled Yi Xing Long as he then yelled, "Piccolo! Appear at my location!" and summoned Piccolo, who arrived carrying the stone forms of the seven Namekian Dragon Balls with telekinesis. Yi then said, "I imbue you with more of our negative energy! Show them that they have no advantage in numbers, let alone in strength!"
Putting his hand on Piccolo's forehead, Yi Xing Long pumped more negative energy into Piccolo, who then enlarged himself into gigantic proportions and consumed the stone forms of the seven Namekian Dragon Balls, releasing seven massive eggs afterwards and collapsing after reverting to his original size. From the eggs, seven differently colored Dragons each resembling a cross between the darkened smoke form of Porunga and his original form emerged, each with a cracked, dark blue Namekian Dragon Ball below their jaws.
"So that's why you didn't destroy the Namekian Dragon Balls when you consumed Porunga!" yelled Goten, at which point Yi then said, "Yes! And I have to say, you played the part of the unwitting pawn, quite flawlessly! It was my essence that goaded you toward making your way onto this planet, while implicitly urging that bumbling fool Pilaf to bring the One-star Earth Dragon Ball that contained my evil onto New Namek as well!"
"WHAT?!" yelled Goten as he furiously went Super Saiyan 2, at which point Trunks grabbed his shoulder and said, "Cool it, man. We have to stick together."
"Let go! This guy… This guy used me as a pawn! B-But why?! Why me?!"
"Because having grown up without a father, watching him leave for the afterlife on just the day you saw him for the first time… And then losing your mother not long after, it left wounds and traumas onto your soul, boy! A trauma you tried to soothe by courting woman after woman, and then by training… But in the end, it couldn't erase your fear of having to lose your family all over again! Your mother, your brother, and your father in the afterlife, they will all die at my hand once again!"
"I've heard just about enough!" yelled Goten as he went Super Saiyan 3 and said to Trunks, "Trunks! We'll fuse, again! We just got healed up, we might be able to get back to being Gotenks, and we'll beat his little – "
"Negative. The Fusion Dance cannot be performed successfully twice without intervals of an hour. You must regain your cool, and fight according to my and Vegeta's commands," said Super #17, as Gohan then added, "That's right. It pains me a lot to see what he's done with Piccolo-san, but as long as he is alive, and we have ground to breathe on, we have hope, Goten! Even if you can't fuse right now, we have the perfect strategy!"
"Yup! And watch this, Goten-san!" yelled Bra as she went Super Saiyan, at which point she yelled. "HAAAAAH!" and transformed again into Super Saiyan 2, causing her hair to fully stand on end down to the last bang, as she was engulfed by bolts of electricity.
"Y-You did it, Bra! You went and surpassed the Super Saiyan wall!" said Goten and Trunks together, at which point Pan also went Super Saiyan 2 and said, "That's right! But we're still not done!" and powered up further, causing their auras to massively enlarge. Their energy levels had increased biblically, to levels rivaling Super Saiyan 3.
"T-That's my technique, the one that draws out Super Saiyan 2's full potential without transforming! H-How did you two manage it so fast?!" said Future Trunks, prompting the two Saiyan girls to say, "I guess it's because we're… Just girls. We don't have any of your petty male testosterone-fueled aggression, so we could get this power more effectively. Hehehehehe!"
"That's not all as far as surprises go, you three. Go ahead, show them your secret weapon!" yelled Gohan, at which point Pan and Bra nodded, jumped to opposite ends of a five-foot wide patch of land, and yelled, "Fuuuu-sion… HAAAAAH!" as they performed the dance flawlessly. The ground around the Dragon Team completely broke into debris, and from it, a preteen girl with her hair fully spiked up sans a single, medium-length bang emerged, wearing a white miniskirt with long, cyan leg warmers made of Metamoran cloth wrapped around like bandages, and a black tank top underneath a black vest with yellow masses similar to Gotenks' vest, as well as black armbands.
"It's Super Saiyan 2 Brapan, in the house! The two of us have mastered Fusion!"
"Hate to say it, but she's probably the one among us with the highest Ki," said Vegeta, "Kuririn, Tenshinhan! Form a circle around Boo, as you two are the weakest fighters! And around the three of them, Oob and #18! And around them, Trunks, the other Trunks, and Goten! Finally, Brapan, Gohan and I will be on the outermost end of the circle, launching the most devastating attacks! While – "
"I've had enough of your yapping! You all can die together!" yelled Yi Xing Long and Su Xing Long as the other Evil Dragons ripped the harpoons Redjic shot at them out of them, coated them in elemental energies, and fired them at the Dragon Team aiming for their hearts precisely – only for a three-layered barrier to stop their attack.
"While us three form shields around the team to protect from the enemy attacks," said #17, Super #17 and Redjic, as Vegeta had transformed to Super Saiyan 3 inside the barrier.
"Wow, I'm impressed. Vegeta never even gave you any commands, but you synchronized your barrier with ours on the fly," said #17, prompting Redjic to reply, "I never intended to go down fighting with any of you, but it doesn't seem like we're in any position to care about pride! Those Evil Dragons' Ki have abated somewhat from being attacked with my harpoons, we know that they can be damaged over time if hit unwittingly enough times in succession! Victory will be ours!"
"Disgusting little worms… You've all signed your death warrants!" yelled the Evil Dragons as the final battle for the universe was about to begin…
