Chapter 36: The Ultimate Final Conflict, Part II: Leaving It All in the Hands of the Next Generation

"K-KKuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!" yelled Ultimate Yi Xing Long as he stopped himself in his tracks before colliding into another planet, at which point Vegetto, from many hundreds of thousands of miles away, took a breath before leaping all the way to the Dragon's location, where he erected a barrier around himself to continue to breathe.

"I-I see that you aren't all talk," said Ultimate Yi Xing Long as he wiped some blood off his lip and then spat out a tooth, which immediately regrew. He then cracked his neck and stretched out his hands and shot a series of blasts at Vegetto, who did not even bother to dodge them and scratched his forehead before sending a handful of blasts, which Ultimate Yi Xing Long repelled by swinging his arm, only to notice that he was a bit singed from them.

"Hate t' say it, but you'll have to come at me with a bigger blast if you hope to so much as scratch my barrier. I don't have all day, so come on! I'll stamp out your cancerous existence, right here and now!"

Vegetto charged at Ultimate Yi Xing Long and delivered a massive kick, which the Dragon barely managed to avoid. The shockwaves produced by the blast traveled to another planet and reduced half of it to rubble, at which point Vegetto stopped himself in his tracks and delivered another crushing kick with his other leg, knocking Ultimate Yi Xing Long into another planet, where the Dragon leapt from to gain momentum and formed blades on both his arms before swinging them at Vegetto, who dodged the swings by a hair without budging from his spot as he then grabbed Ultimate Yi Xing Long by the neck and then delivered a series of massively heavy hits onto his stomach, which Ultimate Yi Xing Long attempted to cushion using Ryu Xing Long's aerokinetic abilities, which to his surprise did not dampen the blows at all. The layer of skin surrounding Vegetto's hand ripped apart as Ultimate Yi Xing Long was sent flying again, this time toward a series of asteroids, which he then set on fire using Su Xing Long's pyrokinetic ability before enhancing the flames with aerokinetic powers and flinging the flaming asteroids at Vegetto, who then said, "Well, I give you a C for creativity… but clearly you don't know who you're messin' with."

Vegetto grunted as veins appeared on his forehead and his body took a sleek sheen, at which point smoke appeared around his person and he swung his fist with a massive degree of force, imploding all the asteroids with a single motion. He then said, "Enough fooling around! It's high time I show you what the true terror of a Super Saiyan 4 is!" and charged at Ultimate Yi Xing Long in an absolutely blinding speed, hitting the Dragon with a backfist so powerful, it ripped his own shirt apart. Vegetto then continued to barrage the Dragon with a massive, devastating flurry of blows, none of which Ultimate Yi Xing Long could perceive. Rather, it appeared as though Vegetto's blows transcended the limitations of speed a mortal, flesh and body construct could even produce – transcending impulse itself.

"H-How?! How is it that the Ultimate Dragon of all Dragons… The evil incarnate born of all Dragon Balls in this universe can be overwhelmed… by a flesh and blood being?! T-There's no way a person's body can transcend a being of pure evil energy!"

"That's your first mistake, judging the two of us by only the parts that produce the sum. It's about how you use your components, not how much volume of energy you can amass!"

"D-Don't fuck… with ME!" yelled Ultimate Yi Xing Long as he formed a second mouth in the torso that Vegetto then impaled with a heavy body blow and used it to blast him with a massive point-blank mouth blast, which dissipated the barrier Vegetto formed around his fist and singed his glove.

"B-Bwhahahahaha! You've let your guard down, boy! I infused that blast with tons of toxic smoke you'd remember from one of the lesser Dragons who make up my being! As powerful as you are, it'll seep through even the tiniest tear in your ski – "

Before Ultimate Yi Xing Long could finish this taunt, Vegetto shook his singed hand to reveal that his skin wasn't ruptured at all, and then blew up the Dragon's skull with a massive backfist before tearing off the other head that formed in his torso with a kick. He then kicked the dismembered Ultimate Dragon with another series of kicks which reduced his body to a large tatter before he shot a blast at it that Ultimate Yi Xing Long had to block with a barrier.

"G-Grrr…. I-I knew it! You were using some incomprehensible trick! T-There's no way there is a gap in our powers large enough for you to be unhurt from that! Y-You've gained some type of energy manipulation power!"

"Energy manipulation?! Don't lump my powers with your paltry little trick. The Super Saiyan 4 transformation brings out a Saiyan's power to the very edge of his limits… Which means in the right hands, it's capable of enhancing all the attributes in a person's body that maximize fighting ability – endorphins to fight fatigue, adrenaline to rev up the body, and Ki drawn out to the very limit… But there's a power even greater still – the power to condense and manipulate the body to increase fighting ability, down to the molecular level!"

"M-Molecular level?! T-Then…"

"Yes. By strengthening the molecular bonds of my body in precisely the areas that connect with my opponent, I can hit them with a far heavier force, harden my body to a composition far denser than the toughest of metals… and lighten my body, whenever evasion is necessary! All fighting attributes of my body are brought out to the greatest possible degree!"

"F-Feh! As great as your powers may be, this will not heavily enhance your speed! I'll simply blow up this entire galaxy, and repeat the process until your so-called molecular defense falters!" yelled Ultimate Yi Xing Long as he regenerated his body inside his barrier and expanded it to the size of a moon before preparing to release a huge explosion, at which point Vegetto revealed he'd snuck inside his barrier the moment that he left it open when switching it from a defensive constitution to an offensive one, and hit him with an elbow on the head before yelling, "Final Shine Attack!" and blasting him straight out of the mass of energy, which dissipated in the face of Vegetto's attack. Ultimate Yi Xing Long struggled to shake this attack off and kept losing his limbs faster than he could regenerate them, at which point he realized Vegetto's secret and said, "F-Feh! There's no way he could've been fast enough to get inside my barrier at that exact moment from his native abilities! Y-You're using the flow of electrons surrounding the atoms in your body to speed up your reactions!"

"Yes. Every microscopic aspect of my being has its ability drawn out to the nth degree in this form. Normally, speeding up on a molecular level would fry a Saiyan's nerves and destroy his body if used repeatedly, but with the mighty body produced through Potara Fusion, even that weakness is negated! I am perfect, in every possible way! And it is time to finish this!"

Ultimate Yi Xing Long sacrificed the lower half of his body to escape from Vegetto's Final Shine Attack, at which point Vegetto then showed up above him, kicked him downwards with his ankle before Ultimate Yi could fully reform and then swung his arms at speeds invisible even to the Dragon's eyes. As blood trickled down Ultimate Yi Xing Long's eyes, he noticed that Vegetto had released Spirit Swords in both of his hands as the Dragon's body crumbled to thirty-two pieces, which Vegetto then vaporized with a two-handed energy sphere, followed by a series of finger beams he used to completely wipe out the small blobs of flesh left on the twenty-one Dragon Balls.

"That's it for the clean-up job. Now let's see about tracking down the others' Ki, I've strayed quite far from where New Namek was," said Vegetto as he deactivated the accelerated molecular bonding and electron manipulation, at which point a massive scythe formed of minus energy appeared from the twenty-one Dragon Balls, which retook their darkened color. Vegetto narrowly avoided this, but was slashed on the left cheek, from which he squeezed out poison using his Ki and then closed the wound by condensing his molecular makeup once more.

"H-Hahahahahahahaha! You let your guard down, you've underestimated me!"

"Tch! Still alive, are you!" said Vegetto with a very slightly frustrated tone.

"I guess you wouldn't know of the only way to destroy me, as you weren't here when I had my first fight with Son Goten! I now know of your weakness, as well!"

"My weakness? Ho… I'm all ears, tell me!" said Vegetto excitedly.

"Your weakness is that you've met the wrong opponent! You see, when I got my hands on all twenty-one Dragon Balls, my evil energy not only spread to the Dragon Balls, but the combination of progressively more powerful sets of orbs being infused into my being caused my powers of darkness to expand without end! Nothing short of a universe-destroying blast, concentrated to the greatest degree could produce the force to overwhelm my endless evil power!"

Ultimate Yi Xing Long then formed hundreds of new sickles of darkness from the Dragon Balls to send waves of evil energy in all directions. Vegetto, dodging these blasts with ease, thought to himself, "Hmmm… He -does- have a point… If just destroying all the flesh in his body won't stop him from recreating his body, my only choice is to somehow generate enough energy to completely wipe out his minus energy… Or…"

Vegetto realized that the effort of keeping up his barrier combined with the strain of enhancing his constitution in such an unnatural manner was overheating his body slowly, at which point he formed a Spirit Sword in his right arm and repelled each of the sickles, and Ultimate Yi Xing Long used the force Vegetto generated to move backward even more and shot new sickles at him, clearly intent on keeping Vegetto away from him to keep up this war of attrition.

"He's realized it too… I never mentioned my time limit to him, but he must have deduced from what I said about 'not having all day' and the strain this power is generating that I don't have a lot of time left…"

Vegetto then evaded another wave of sickles rather narrowly before cutting them all up with his Spirit Sword, at which point he said, "Alright, Plan B!" and flew at Ultimate Yi Xing Long, knowing that the pause it'd require for him to teleport would create too big an opening. Vegetto instantly sped inside Ultimate Yi Xing Long's torrents of sickles evading each one by a hair and then cut all of the Ultimate Dragon Balls contained in his dark evil energy mass of a body of sickles before then speeding away to observe the effects his attack had.

"H-Hehehehehehe…" said Ultimate Yi Xing Long as he used his negative energy to piece the bisected Ultimate Dragon Balls together and recreated his upper body while maintaining the torrents of sickles and moving farther away from Vegetto. He then said, "Fool! My body itself has become one with all of the Dragon Balls! As long as there is enough negative energy to rebuild my body, the Dragon Balls could be pulverized, and I would recreate them just as easily as any other lump of fle – "

"Shut up."

Vegetto grabbed Ultimate Yi Xing Long's head and cut it off before vaporizing it and then kicking him afar, at which point Ultimate Yi Xing Long reconstituted his body into his normal, humanoid default state as Vegetto stopped accelerating his molecular constitution and then charged green Ki into his palms at such a high frequency that the Ki took a completely white shine and blanked out everything around him. He then cupped his palms together in a Final Flash stance and said, "Fi-nal…" before then bringing his palms behind his right rib and charging a devastating amount of red Ki into the blast and muttering, "Ka...Me…Ha…"

"H-Heheh! So left with no options, you finally resort to a simple clash of energy! Very well, I accept!" yelled Ultimate Yi Xing Long as he charged a blackened red aura around himself before pumping all the negative energy he could from the twenty-one corrupted Dragon Balls into a tremendous Minus Energy Power Ball.

"Me…"

"It ends now! I'll teach you that there exists not a single force with more power than myself!"

"HAAAAA!"

Vegetto released a massive white and red Final Kamehameha attack which pushed Ultimate Yi Xing Long's Minus Energy Power Ball toward him, which he then began to push as well with a massive, repulsive force generated with his seemingly infinite negative energy.

Vegetto's blast seemed to take the upper hand, at which point Ultimate Yi Xing Long exerted even more energy as veins began popping all over his body and said, "B-Bwahahahaha! Winded already, are you?! I'll win this yet!"

"Heh. We'll see about that," said Vegetto nonchalantly as he then bent the Final Kamehameha like a whip and blasted it upwards along with the Minus Energy Power Ball, blasting it out of the orbit of the confines of Universe 7. As Ultimate Yi Xing Long looked toward the direction of this strange event in shock, Vegetto then leapt at Ultimate Yi Xing Long and then quickly charged a 10-times Kamehameha, a combination of two balls of Super Saiyan 4 energy that he quickly coalesced into a large blast. Ultimate Yi Xing Long was blasted toward the location of the hole in the dimension that the prior clash generated, at which point Vegetto then flew at a speed millions of times the speed of light and quickly appeared in stratosphere of New Namek, where he suddenly looked down at the people he was fighting to protect – the Z Senshi who traveled with him to New Namek, and his son Future Trunks and his unconscious, fused son Gotenks, who was still out cold from the blow Yi Xing Long had dealt to him earlier.

"It was too big of a gamble, putting all of my power into the Final Kamehameha. If the strain of doing so overstrained my body more than the changed molecular composition would, this transformation may have split my fused form. I'll bank it… On you kids," thought Vegetto as he raised his hands into the air and said in a distinctly Goku-esque tone, "The waters, the airs, the airborne beings, the very earth beneath me, and all of the planets ravaged in this decisive battle… I'll have to request all the energy you've got! I'll need it to put this beast to a permanent end!"

Quickly, the planets destroyed in the battle and from the collateral damage caused by the Final Kamehameha clash released massive, massive torrents of energy which quickly clumped into an incredibly massive Genki Dama, which was immediately larger than an entire continent. Vegetto thought, "Not quite enough, just yet… Being stuck in that black hole fighting against my Kamehameha should hold him for a few more minutes still, so all the beings that want peace back in your lives, in this universe… And any other planets that want to preserve the balance of all things… Give me your energy!"

Hearing Vegetto's powerful plea, all of the mystical beings in the afterlife of Universe 7, as well as those of the Demon Realm who had the ability to use telepathy, and various people around the universe raised their hands, which combined with the energy of more planets to enlarge the Genki Dama to a far greater magnitude. Vegetto then said, "Alright! I knew Super Saiyan 4's calm, human heart was fit for using this attack! Now to put my own energy into this thing!"

Vegetto powered up, releasing a powerful yellow and red aura that crackled with bolts of red lightning, which he then turned into a huge mass of energy that instantly tripled the size of the Genki Dama. Vegetto felt a sweat drip past his brow and wiped it off, saying "There… I put all the energy in it that I could. Now, I just need to suck up the energy of my blasts back into this ball and I can end him soon – "

Just as Vegetto said this, Ultimate Yi Xing Long had transformed himself into a massive, serpent-like dark Dragon with twenty limbs, with Vegetto's red and white energy waves coiling around him. Ultimate Yi Xing Long then absorbed that energy into himself and condensed back into his humanoid form as he jumped toward Vegetto and said, "You're mine! DIE!" and swung his claws at Vegetto, who manipulated the electrons in his nervous system again and dodged the blow before kicking him right into the opposite corner of the solar system with a heavy swing of his leg. Just then, the Potara Fusion finally destabilized and Vegetto turned back to his base form before shining in white and splitting back into Goku and Vegeta.

"H-Hey, Vegeta! The Fusion's split!"

"Damn! We used up too much power!"

Ultimate Yi Xing Long then stretched his arm at the duo, who barely managed to turn Super Saiyan and teleported away from the deadly attack.

"S-Shit! Kamehameha!" yelled Goku as Vegeta then yelled, "Gyarikku-ho!"

The blasts coalesced into a moderately large beam of energy which Yi Xing Long's enlarged hand repelled like a small burst of static electricity before grabbing onto the two veteran warriors, hurling them into the surface of New Namek.

"K-Kwaaark!" yelled the two Saiyans as they dropped out of their Super Saiyan forms and lost consciousness. Their necks were cracked, and the Potara earrings they donned crumbled.

"D-Dammit! What happened?! The Fusion of father and Goku-san should have been unbeatable!" yelled Future Trunks.

"So, this is what they had under their sleeve, eh?! Too bad the Genki Dama is yet incomplete! Nothing short of Vegetto returning from his soon to be grave can bring me my doom, and he is a threat to me no more!" yelled Ultimate Yi Xing Long as he then landed onto a precipice not far from where the heroes were at, where he then said, "So… Who'll be the brave trooper? Will it be you, Trunks…? Or how about you, Redjic…? Or rather, should I just kill you all at once together?!"

Super #17 leapt at Ultimate Yi Xing Long saying, "Allow me! My existence is false to begin with, a copy of a destroyed artificial intelligence!" before then grabbing onto Ultimate Yi Xing Long in a full nelson and attempting to suck up his energy, only to realize that he was merely overheating himself without doing any damage to the Dragon's energy reservoir.

"If you wanted to die first, all you had to do was… ASK!" yelled Ultimate Yi Xing Long as he tore Super #17 apart with one swing of his arm before tossing is upper body onto the ground where the heroes stood, and crushing his lower body with his foot.

"Away with you already, despicable fiend!" yelled Redjic as he powered up to full power and swung his three-pronged spear repeatedly at Ultimate Yi Xing Long, who blocked each of them with two fingers before impaling Redjic straight through the stomach with a punch and throwing him aside. Ultimate Yi Xing Long then laughed and said, "Pathetic, detestable little insects… This universe, and all others, were born entrenched in darkness! And I shall return everything to darkness, right here and now! This is the genesis of evil!"

Ultimate Yi Xing Long formed a large, one-handed Minus Energy Power Ball from his right palm and yelled, "I'll first eradicate this planet!"

"No, that's not true! The light of hope still shines above us, and it'll illuminate the dark as the light of life always has!" yelled Gohan as he activated the full power of his Ultimate state and charged a Masenko, at which point Redjic recovered from his wounds with a clump of Mr. Boo's flesh, which then dissipated, having expended its power. The main body of Mr. Boo then gathered all of his energy and donated it at the two, and they shot their most powerful blasts at the Minus Energy Power Ball. Hopelessly overpowered, the blast inched closer and closer toward the ground on which the heroes stood, frighteningly and horrifyingly…!
