Chapter 3 Capture of Agent Fowler part 1

It was early in the morning . On the Nemesis ship, many decepticons were just going about their daily duties while the rest slept off the night shift. Starscream and Darkscream were staying in their quarter. Their quarter were very spacious . Because Starscream was in a higher rank as the second in command and Darkscream as his deputy, their room, like most, had a special panel that opened the door only after entering a code that only the two of them knew. Inside, each of them had a separate berth and shelves full of datapads containing a large amount of information on various topics. No one knows that in their room there is a hidden safe under the floor opened by a spoken password . That's where Darkscream and Starscream keep their most important things . In the middle of the room, on a desk against the wall, was a computer that they used to devise plans and also to record data on a map related to energon mines, both those with small and large quantities.

The seekers lay on their berths. Darkscream currently had no duties, so she could spend her time flying or doing other things, while Starscream still had a few hours to himself before he was to appear before Megatron to find out what orders he had for him. The seekers at the moment were reflecting on what happened yesterday after their mission to the mine.

A memory from yesterday

Starscream after completing his task ( blowing up the mine ) , went to the room where Megatron and Darkscream were staying . When he went inside, he stood on the left side next to his sister. Even if they both didn't see the explosion Darkscream knew Starscream had done the job.

" You don't have to worry about Autobot skirmishes anymore . Especially after Optimus died . " - assured Starscream with a smile on his face

" Do you have any evidence of his death, Starscream? " - asked Megatron, not particularly convinced of what he was saying.

" I blew up the mine like you asked," he answered proudly

" Autobots couldn't survive such an explosion " Darkscream said

" It's not that easy to kill Optimus," Megatron told them, "The proof is in the hundreds of battles we've fought."

" You should rest my lord . I fear that too much contact with dark energon will make you susceptible to its effects."

" Or maybe on the contrary" - he said calmly and then started to speak in a shrill and loud voice looking only at the huge crystal – " My contact with it was … too superficial "

After these words, he quickly plucked a piece of dark energon, which he brought closer to his spark. The seekers looked surprised and alarmed at what their master had just done.

" What are you doing master ? " - Darkscream asked surprised, but when she saw him holding the dark energon up in the air, she was terrified and figured out, just like Starscream, what he was going to do. She screamed at him: " DON'T DO IT! IT'S DANGEROUS!"

" LORD MEGATRON, NOT IN THE SPARK CHAMBER. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT COULD HAPPEN! " - shouted Starscream.

" MEGATRON NOOOOOOOO ! "

Darkscream and Starscream shouted to their overlord not to put the fragment in his spark chamber . Unfortunately to no avail. Megatron after inserting the dark energon began to scream and shake strangely in a standing position. Throughout his body began to pass dark energy by which the body from the outside and the optics glowed with a light purple color .

It took a while for strange things to stop plaguing Megatron . The seekers looked at each other questioningly , which one of them should speak first after their ruler's body stopped glowing and became normal. But before either of them could say anything, their ruler spoke up and told them to leave him alone. After these words, the searchers bowed slightly and left the room .

Currently

They both wondered what plan their ruler would come up with now for a plan to both get rid of the Autobots and rule the world. They talked like this for an hour before Darkscream told Starscream that she is going to get energon because she is hungry. Starscream had nothing to wonder about her because she hadn't eaten anything since yesterday while working both on the ship and in the mine . Her brother joined her and so they walked down the corridor until they reached one of the warehouses where energon was stored.

At the same time on earth

The children thoroughly enjoyed their time with their new companions. Especially Bumblebee and Raf, who got along great and played in races together on the monitor Bumblebee in his car mode. Of course in each round won Bumblebee no matter how Raf tried.

In another part of the desert, Bulkhead was with Miko on the rocky hills where Miko got the idea to see how tough Bulkhead was and in the process had great fun sliding down the hill . Bulkhead wasn't sure it was a good idea because he had orders from Optimus to protect her . Despite his slight anxiety, Miko assured him that she would be fine because his armored vehicle mode protected her.

At another point on the road Jack rode along with Arcee , who provided him with the cool entertainment of riding her fast and on one wheel . Such a ride made Jack want to see what Arcee could still do in her motorcycle mode.

Meanwhile, at the Autobot base, Ratchet was happy because there were no children around to interfere with his research. Using a microscope, she examines a sample of the substance Arcee had on her hand after touching Cliffjumper. After a while, he heard some sound like walking metal . For a moment he suspected it was Optimus, but after a few seconds something appeared that surprised Ratchet . It turned out that one of Ratchet's devices was accidentally splashed with the purple substance he was checking. A small revived creature roamed everywhere, crawling on Ratchet and destroying several of his pieces of equipment. As he was about to attack the medic then Optimus shot at him and trampled him, killing him. Ratchet was grateful and wondered why this thing attacked him, while Optimus had a guess that it was the work of a dark energon that had been brought back by Megatron when he had been in space for three years.

At the same time on Nemesis

The seekers were walking down the corridor of the ship . The time had come to appear before Megatron so Starscream walked towards where the ruler was probably staying now. After a few minutes they separated, but before they could do so Darkscream told Starscream that she would probably go on patrol .

Starscream didn't have to search for Megatron too long because he knew exactly where he was now. He reached a room in which contained a huge crystal of dark energon. Starscream upon entering saw that his master continued to look only at the crystal. He didn't know if Megatron heard him but he could hear the ruler gasping almost silently . It was as if this energon was causing pleasure in his body and adding something he had not felt before. Starscream gave Megatron another moment , before he spoke

" My Lord? " - he asked in an uncertain voice

" I can feel it "- Megatron spoke up - " As it flows through my body ... It's like... I can hear Unicron's thoughts ... Now I know what I have to do " - he replied, taking a shard of dark energon from the huge crystal.

" Aaaa.. aah … What can I... do to help you, master? "

" Stop stuttering and wait for my command," Megatron replied, annoyed by Starscream's behavior

After a few seconds, he left the room, as did Starscream, who went to the bridge of the ship.

While Megatron was walking down the corridor to the elevator that would take him to the roof, at the same time Darkscream took the elevator to the very top. Upon exiting, a nice view of a nearly cloudless sky appeared to her red optics . She was alone on the roof so no one could see the smile on her face. She was already about to go into jet mode when she heard the elevator doors open once again. Her optics showed Lord Megatron himself emerging from the elevator . Megatron noticed Darkscream , who started walking towards him . A conversation began between them.

" What are you doing here? " - demanded Megatron

" I was just about to fly around the neighborhood " . After a few seconds she asked : " Are you also going somewhere, my lord ? " - She asked with a little fear, but also curiosity.

" On a mission " Megatron replied and walked past her.

When he was about to go into airplane mode , he was suddenly stopped by Darkscream

" Lord Megatron," she called out to him .

At these words, Megatron turned and waited for what she would say to him

" Would you mind if I accompanied you on your mission? "

Megatron wondered, staring at Starscream's sister. After a minute he replied : " Let it be . Just don't even try to think about trying to do something reckless and follow my orders , understood! " he ordered leaning over to Darkscream , cousing her to slowly lean back in fear.

" Yes, Lord Megatron " she answered at once

Megatron, on the one hand, was a little glad that it was Darkscream flying with him and not Starscream, since she doesn't talk as much as her brother . Darkscream and Megatron flied out of Nemesis and went on a mission . Darkscream activated a special device that was mounted on her system before she launched . This device was modified by her so that she could perfectly assume the appearance of her brother, so that the Autobots would not guess that she was not him.

On the bridge of the ship, Starscream watched as Megatron departed from Nemesis with Darkscream accompanying him. In his mind, he worried that something might happen during their mission. He was pulled out of his thoughts by Soundwave , who was walking towards him . Starscream shared with him his thoughts on the state Megatron is in now due to the dark energon acting on his body. Additionally, he orders him to increase global patrols but of course he has his ears everywhere as usual and plays Megatron's recorded voice with the last sentence to make Starscream wait for orders. Starscream, upset that Soundwave thought he wasn't listening to Megatron, says he's not deaf and tells him about the idea to eliminate Optimus if he's alive.

At the Autobot base

Optimus placed the damaged device in a special shredder which after a few minutes gave a small explosion in the container that was placed inside. Optimus began a conversation with Ratchet :

" If the substance that Arcee found on the Cliffjumper revived your broken tool, then we can conclude that the same substance brought the Cliffjumper back from the world of the dead "

" That explains why we're picking up his life signal," Ratchet said, and suddenly a thought occurred to him: " Dark energon ? .. It's so rare that it's practically nonexistent. What would he be doing on earth? "

" It was brought by Megatron "

" But for what reason ? "

" To conquer this world with a new army ... An army of undead " - Optimus explained

At these words Ratchet laughed a little because he had no idea how Megatron could find so many dead cybertronians on this planet to create an army. . Their conversation doesn't last too long because from the tunnel you could hear the autobots coming in with three kids. Upon entering, Optimus told the others that he and Ratchet were going on a mission and the others were to wait for orders (after seeing that their little friends were with them).

Arcee was obviously not thrilled that she had to stay at the base and deal with people too . When after the disappearance of Optimus and Ratchet , Jack asked her about her commands , she grimly replied only that she was going on patrol and taking Bumblebee with her. After a minute, they left the base. Bulkhead didn't have to wait long for an answer when he asked what the others were going to do, because after a few seconds the horrible and unpleasant sound of Miko's guitar connected to the speakers could be heard. With a smile on her face, Miko gave the idea of forming a band . None of them were thrilled with the idea, but they didn't want to upset the girl. Before either of them could say anything , the girl started playing the guitar to the max so loud that everyone covered their ears ( Bulkhead covered up his audio receptors) .

After a few minutes the proximity sensor sounded which meant only one thing ... it was Agent Fowler . Bulkhead quickly ordered Miko to hush up and together with the others hide behind him . While listening to the Agent's further claims and request to pass information to Optimus , Bulkhead moved slowly so that Fowler would not see the kids. Unfortunately he didn't take into account that he snagged a cable that was connected to Miko's guitar, which she had with her. Fowler heard the sounds and was surprised that Bulkhead needed a recharge. Raf, Jack and Miko had no choice but to show themselves to the agent. Fowler was angry that Prime's crew had contact with civilians and wanted to take them to provide protection , but Bulkhead's foot blocked his way to them and he said they were protecting them . The autobot further angered the agent when he wanted to call his services and, of course, damaged the phone.

After taking the elevator upstairs, Agent Fowler flew out of the base in his helicopter. He radioed his boss that he would report in person and that he was returning from the Autobot base. He didn't know that this transmission had been intercepted by Soundwave and Starscream ordered him to capture Agent Fowler. After these words Soundwave released Laserbeak .

Laserbeak flew to the location of the helicopter . Agent Fowler picked up on radar that something was flying towards him . Fowler and Laserbeak briefly fought their air battle avoiding each other and shooting . Laserbeak knew that helicopter shots couldn't hurt him and that shooting at him was just a waste of bullets. That moment didn't last long because as soon as Fowler ran out of bullets, he maneuvered through the air and then cut off the helicopter's tail with a wing. Then Soudwave's companion pulled out his tentacles with which he grabbed the agent and took him on Nemesis. Fortunately, Fowler at the last moment pressed the button that transmitted the S.O.S. signal to the Autobot base.

An alarm sounded in the Autobot base which was Fowler's distress signal. However, at the Bulkhead base, he couldn't track it and didn't even care . However, the words of Jack and Raf made him change his mind when they were right about Fowler knowing the location of their base. Fortunately, thanks to Raf's help, Agent Fowler's last location was traced . Bulkhead set out to rescue Fowler, leaving Jack with the others as a temporary base guard. Jack and Raf realized after a few seconds that Miko was not with them. Bulkhead reached the location of the now hidden decepticon ship and the large number of decepticons outside. Bulkhead hid behind the rocks, but unfortunately for Miko, he was detected by her lack of attention and silence. Several decepticons saw the girl and the autobot and began to approach them. Bulkhead quickly pushed the decepticon away which almost caught Miko and himself hid her behind rocks. Miko watched with great delight the fight that was going on and was so impressed when even Bulkhead ripped out a large amount of wires from one of them .

Immediately after defeating a small number of decepticons , Bulkhead called Bumblebee and Arcee to inform them of the situation . Upon hearing that Miko was with him, Arcee was surprised and called the base for someone to activate the GroundBridge, but it turned out that no one was there, so they set off on their own to the Bulkhead location. Bulkhead, meanwhile, after seeing the earth bridge portal, was convinced it was Arcee and Bumblebee, but unfortunately Jack and Raf came.

Meanwhile, on the ship Nemesis , Fowler was in custody where he was hanging with his hands hooked in chains . Inside the room were Starscream and several decepticons who were interrogating the agent. Starscream tried by all means to force Fowler to reveal the location of the Autobot base. Obviously Fowler didn't want to do this despite the increasingly cruel manner of the interrogation , so he played for time by trying to confuse Stasrcream. Starscream wasn't that stupid so he went as far as to use metal rod on the man which sends out energon current . Starscream was pleased to see that energon had a negative effect on humans and so repeated this action several times .
